Do you think L would have actually gone after Light if he were proven innocent?

There are two possible ways to answer this.

One: If Light was proven innocent, but was actually still Kira. This happens in canon with the 13-day rule, and L absolutely goes for it and fucking dies for his troubles lmao. Everyone else in the Task Force thought this was watertight evidence for Light's innocence, but the truth leaves crumbs behind, and L is a bloodhound for sniffing that shit out.

Two: If Light was actually innocent. No, I don't think so. The only reason L was so interested in Light in the first place was due to the fact that he acted like the profile of Kira L built + like a guilty person - there's a fascinating YouTube video analyzing that here. One or both of these would not apply if Light wasn't Kira (we saw L recognizing this almost the second Light gave up his memories), so L would probably quickly lose interest, just like he lost interest in the Kitamura daughter in the manga.

- Ichiya: Modified Eliter, this one was fabricated to pierce through salmonid shields, is enough powerful to create a hole in a wall. He doesn't use it anymore since he moved out to Haikara City

-Ikkan: Modified Dynamo, he got to learn how to modify weapons but they tend to be dangerous, he made ichiya's Eliter

-Namida: Blaster, she has an inner craziness that is limited throught out her terrible fear to deal with people

-Murasaki: Trislosher, wasa present given by Namida, even though he doesn't play them much he uses it

ABXY

-Paruko: Can't play turf wars and doesn't enjoy them anyways

-Noiji: Clash blaster, 1) It's noisy 2) It's chaotic, enjoys to play only league with Raian

-Raian: Shooters, Brellas, He isn't big of a player but enjoys collecting old vintage weapons

-Shikaku: Can't play??? but watches the matches of Noiji and his best friend Raian

Hightide Era

-Taka: Nzap, he's terrible at playing but feels he looks cool posing with the weapon, however he's number 1 Kuze's fan (he's like a father to him)

-Nishida: He's too of a busy man to even show sny interest on it, he is also really supportive with Kuze

-Kuze: Slayer, Midliner, He's versatile with his weapons, he usually plays with .52 Gal or Nozzlenose. Despite his Drummer career, he won important matches and ended with his team on the top 100 leaderboard of the entire Country

Wet Floor

-Mizole: Wet Floor branded new inkbrush, yeah it's like a mop but acts the same as a normal inkbrush, his ink color is actually cyan

-Kagi: Bloblober, his skin tone doesn't allow him to enter in many matches tho

-Rayan: Wet Floor branded splat dualies, yes they have an entire set of wet floor weapons themed in cleaning products

-Tsumabushi, I think his species can swim in ink but,,, can't give him a weapon, he seems to like other stuff

-Kazami, Crabs can't play turf wars but find the new splatana wiper really cute

-Ryū-chang, Octobrush,his long lineage led him to use this one, as he says he loves his "big slappy". He also performs tradicional calligraphy with it

-Paul, Splattershot Jr, he now reached an age to play turf, he's actually learning how to play rainmaker

-Karla, Nobody expect Ryuu has seen her playing turf wars, that only time she was carrying a Hydra

-Taichi, Doesn't like to play at all, he thinks he looks all stupid with a tiny weapon on his fins

-Ikkan: Alredy mentioned him, he stopped playing any turf once he moved along with Ichiya to Haikara City. He feels and looks unconfortabled to play or watch it

-Warabi: Dapple Dualies, can't play and doesn't want to, he hates the fact his tentacles are malformed and makes it hard to swim straight (it's like joycon drift) besides he's too of a business man to even have the time to play silly games

Pokemon Horizons Episode 9 Review: Arrival In Paldea

I have official results saying that Liko and Ash are 99.99% UNRELATED. Gosh, I hope the Liko is Ash’s daughter theory finally dies down with the reveal of Liko’s father Alex being just a painter and picture book author and someone completely unrelated to anyone from the past series. Let. It. Die. Please.

Paldea is finally introduced in this episode. The way Mezagosa is animated and drawn is beautiful. The anime captured it identically. The buildings are in the right placement. The stores are present too. I think what I like about the anime version more is that the anime does make it look larger since a game is limited in what it can show. I love the accuracy of the stores that Mezagosa has with Liko and Roy looking at shoes and hats and trying on glasses. Also, the students are wearing orange pants and Liko said that the school is called “Orange Academy”, which is Naranja Academy’s Japanese name. I assume this means Scarlet is the canon game?

Liko’s house is similar to the player character’s house that’s located in the outskirts of Mezagosa. It’s quite big and cozy. I’d love to have a house like that in the future. I think it suits her in a way. It’s big and has a lot of space. Alex uses a portion of it as an art studio, so it has to be big in order to fit canvases and books.

Speaking of which, Liko’s mother does not make an appearance, but she does exist. The subtitles say that she’s away on a field trip, so I assume her mother is a teacher. Alex had no idea the pendant caused Liko to have such a crazy adventure, so I assume her grandmother is on the mother’s side of the family and that the pendant’s secret relies on the maternal side of her family? There’s still a lot of things we don’t know regarding Liko’s family and her origins. I hope it’ll get explained soon.

So, how is Alex as a character? It’s rare to see Pokemon characters have fathers, but he seems like a nice person. He’s like every other father who worries about their child, but he ultimately respects Liko’s wishes. It’s understandable that he would get worried; Liko is his only child and fathers are a bit more protective when it comes to their daughters. I was worried from preview translation that he’d be like Bianca’s father, but he’s not and I’m glad. He’s not overbearing and does allow Liko to travel.

Liko has always been more assertive in previous episodes, but her reverting back to her timid nature and being unable to let out how she feels seems understandable here. Being open towards parents is a lot harder than being open towards friends. I get that a lot. Her uncertainty is noticed by Sprigatito, who starts sulking and such. I’m glad that Liko caught on quickly and rekindles with her cat and finally mustered the courage to be confident and tell her father what she wants.

I also like how the other members of the Rising Volt Tacklers do their own things with Orla and Mollie hanging out and having coffee, Murdock buying food and Dot cleaning her Nidothing costume that Liko noticed but got overlooked.

Anyways, the Paldea arc started off great with Liko’s issues being resolved first before going into the other important stuff. The group gets a clue about the black Rayquaza and how Brassius from Artazon Town has seen a “rare Pokemon�� recently. Since that’s their only clue, they decide to chase after it.

Anyways, I’m excited for next week’s episode as Nemona and Brassisus appears. I mentioned before about how much I love the Paldean people and I still stand by my words. I’m so excited for their debut. Nemona’s VA is Eri Kitamura, who voiced Roxie in the BW anime and currently voices Bea in Masters and Twilight Wings. Brassius’s VA is Kazuya Nakai who voiced Nando back in the DP anime. He’s also known for voicing Zoro in One Piece and Angoramon in Digimon Ghost Game. I can’t wait to hear their voices. The casting is amazing! Like, it’s only the tenth episode yet they’re flexing this hard with their casting?

woof its been a while. lets see where we start lol

oooh okay so i read the woods all black by lee mandelo and well it was a time !! i liked the vibes the story was pretty interesting and tbh i don't have much to say on it its pretty short but i recommend if you like monsterfucking with plot

then i read immortal longings by chloe gong and OOF this one was good. fell into it pretty much immediately and i think its soooooo interesting and fun. excited to read the second one !!!!!

then i read the daughters of izdihar by hadeer elsbai !!! this one was fun and i liked the magic; had lots of conversations which to some myself included may seem like preaching to the choir and a little on the nose HOWEVER i do think they are necessary looking at the state of the world. interested in continuing the series although its probably not the highest on my tbr

then i read the unmaking of june farrow by adrienne young, this was cute ! fun and sweet, not showstopping or lifechanging or anything but it was interesting and i was pretty engaged

after that i read intimacies by katie kitamura... ohh this one was interesting. i did really like it and hearing about the mcs life in the hague was super interesting, although to me the most interesting parts were the translation aspects and the trials and her job. cool character study and i will always love a book about language and translation

then i read we had to remove this post by hanna bervoets.... im not really sure how i feel about this one. tbh i think that was the point, making readers uncomfortable, and the author certainly did that for me. tbh it wasn't as engaging as i thought and written in letters? definitely interesting, but i think my expectations were too high lol. overall good if ur looking for a fucked up little fiction book about a very real problem

after that i did my aftg reread and well. you know how that went. although i think i've discovered that neils main character syndrome tm is part of the reason for the brainworms. like the whumpy main character syndrome is what does it. having all your pain and awfulness on full display to Everybody and still being accepted for it. i mean obviously thats like the whole theme of this book. but this specific flavor of it.... delicious

after that i read bear by julia phillips, a weird one. i liked it i think it was okay. the bear was fun the sisterly relationships were good. yeah idk what else to say about this one. tbh i don't really even remember how it ended lol.

then i read mickey7 by edward ashton, a fun one ! liked the concept the constant calling everyone pal and friend-o was a . choice. the ending was kinda silly but thats okay i like the concept of coexisting with the creepers. yeah idk.

then finally i read the sunshine court. yes i did rate it 5 stars. and well whos gonna judge me. i am interested in jean and jeremys stories and so i will continue reading it doesnt have the exact same vibe as the original trio but i liked it nonetheless. currently still trying to get the worms out of my brain. please help

I don’t always answer asks immediately, as this is a blog I run for fun in my spare time, so if I take more than a few hours to answer it doesn’t mean I’m ignoring you, I just might need to think about it a bit longer, or I might be busy with something else at that point.

I’ve been getting a lot of the same ones over and over the past few days, and it gets a little confusing and frustrating sometimes. I can never know for sure if I’m getting anons from one person or multiple, but I do try to be fairly prompt with my responses, so there’s no need to spam the same question a bunch.

Please also keep in mind that I must answer all anonymous asks publicly in order to acknowledge them, so this can lead to me filling my followers’ dashboards with posts, which can be annoying to everyone else following me if done in excess! Intimacies

The protagonist of Intimacies is the daughter of bi-cultural parents, whose international upbringing left her with a facility for mastering languages and the ability to feel as at home in once city as another.  The death of her father in New York City, where she also soon finds herself at the end of a job, inspires her to apply for (and she is accepted) the job of translating for the International Court in the Hague. There in the Netherlands she is new and yet not new- they had lived there for a time when she was a small child, but now she has no real connections to speak of, other than an acquaintance from when she worked in London.  While at dinner at that friend's apartment, the evening is disturbed by the police responding to a mugging closeby, where a man is seriously injured. She gets back to her apartment without incident, but the event's occurrence disturbs her and she becomes obsessed with finding out more about the victim. She finds out more about him from her friend, from information in the news, from visiting his bookshop, and her curiousity grows.  She is involved with a man who may or may not be completely available.  At work, she becomes the translator for a war criminal- the former President of an unnamed country, whose words she must interpret and translate for the court, to have them, in turn, translated by someone else to the victims. 

Intimacies has stayed with me. One of the things that the protagonist says of her work is that court translation takes a deep level of concentration and focus- that the job of the translator is to keep the gaps that exist between the words of one language and another as small as possible.  The novel shows how gaps exist not only in the translation from one language to another, but between people sharing an experience, between criminal and victim, witness and witness.  The book is that and a lot more. I read it in a single day, and emerged from it in awe

a war is waged between two brothers & the first vampires and lycans are created in separate armies , leading to the fall of civilizations. 4 original vampires and 4 original lycans survived, dispersing to form the first packs & covens throughout the world. the lycan-vampire war begins in the name of a blood feud ; no clear victors.

astor mayfair is turned after a vicious vampire attack ; he is taken by amelia to join her coven where he is made into a death dealer & cleaner , a personal favorite to the queen. lazarus corvinus is born to aleksander corvinus and his wife , ankha corvinus. aera choi is born as the daughter of a human in the taejo royal court.

seo-yun taejo falls in love with aera choi , the human girl who was meant to be a concubine to his uncle. as a means of rescuing her , he offers to make her into a vampire if she were to become his wife. aera agrees , but upon transformation is driven half-mad by the sheer power from the blood of an original lineage. she retaliates and tears out seo-yuns' throat. believing she has killed him, aera flees and begins her nearly one thousand year rampage as a cannibal vampire; seo-yun survives and begins his hunt for the woman who attempted to murder him.

lycans take control over regions that were once considered vampire-majority ; in the skirmishes , 2 of the 4 original lycans are slaughtered , but akira kitamura , the most vicious of the two surviving originals , establishes a stronghold throughout europe and asia where vampires are exterminated with impunity. vampire covens, namely amelia's coven & viktor's coven are forced into hiding and retreat. brynjar schwab & kelechi okoye are born into akira's pack during this time.

prince liudolf of the duchy of swabia & the firstborn heir to the holy roman empire is born alongside his twin brother ; he is unfortunately born sickly and is sheltered from much of outside life. the holy roman empire establishes itself as one of the strongest civilizations in europe, garnering the interest of both amelia and aleksander corvinus, now deemed one of the strongest death dealers & a potential future king. akira kitamura begins to scheme of ways to prevent either coven from gaining access to a potential stronghold for shelter and numbers.

astor mayfair makes first contact with prince liudolf under amelia's orders to investigate the coven , knowing that aleksander hopes to seize the royal family in hopes of strenghtening the budapest coven ; astor mayfair concludes that prince liudolf is very sick and on the verge of death ; he feeds prince liudolf his blood as he is prevented from turning the prince in the moment. prince liudolf is now tainted.

⋆ ˚｡ *   :  𝟏𝟑𝟕𝟐 𝐀𝐃

akira kitamura has caught wind of amelia's meddling and sends his prized leecher & younger brother , brynjar schwab to investigate while planning to assassinate the royal family to prevent either vampire coven from seizing them; brynjar schwab reports that the prince has already made contact with vampires as he smells tainted. akira expedites his plan to assassinate the royal family in one year.

⋆ ˚｡ *   :  𝟏𝟑𝟕𝟑 𝐀𝐃

akira kitamura stages his assassination of the royal family ; he successfulyl raids the castle alongside his pack, murdering the emperor, empress, and royal court. brynjar schwab , having fallen in love with the prince , saves him from being killed , himself & allows him to escape the wreckage alongside his twin. however , aleksander corvinus and his ranks of death dealers suspected lycan interference & waited for the raid to conclude. soon after the raid was finished , aleksander investigates to discover that the princes were both still somehow alive; deciding that he could now take them both and create death dealers loyal to him alone via turning them prior to establishing his own cousin , aleksander corvinus turns liudolf & lutwick of swabia. they are now dubbed zaiden & zacharie hendricks and taken to join the covens where they are indoctrinated into becoming death dealers. aleksander places a memory block on the prince to prevent him from remembering that a lycan was responsible for keeping him safe, replacing it with a manufactured memory that it was aleksander who had rescued him. shortly after , astor mayfair is sent on amelia's orders to investigate; he and liudolf, now zaiden are reunited. zaiden had fallen in love with aleksander's cousin, damien corvinus who he had a short love affair with before damien is killed in a supposed lycan raid. soon after , zaiden. & astor begin their romantic relationship.

on amelia's orders, astor mayfair is tasked with hunting akira kitamura down; he succeeds in finding the original lycan and a battle ensues. astor mayfair is beleived to have slain akira kitamura in a blood ordeal , but astor is far too hurt to bring back a memento of his victory. he returns to amelia with news that akira is now dead, a cause for celebration. akira kitamura survives his altercation with astor mayfair and enters hibernation, allowing others to believe that he is deceased. his pack scatters. the downfall of the lycans begins.
