They kissed like teenagers in her driveway for half an hour after he pulled into it.

She stopped at one point and ran her finger over his lips. "Red and a little swollen. I remember that."

"So's yours," he said, smiling duskily. He kissed her again, very gently.

"So ... how do I play?" she asked.

He smiled, staring at her lips. "Make a video for me."

She blinked, surprised. "A porn video?"

"Ever notice how totally boring porn is?" he asked. "Or ... do you not indulge?"

"I mean, I have," she said, considering. "Just not that much, really."

"Why?"

She gave a small shrug, still in his strong arms. "It's just ... I mean, most of it is ..."

"What?"

"It's so ... crass. There's no intimacy ... no real intimacy, anyway. No real passion, either."

"Isn't there 'porn for women' that tries to feature both?"

She snickered. "It's just the same thing with soft lighting and better voice-overs."

"Hairy pistons."

Maggie grimaced. "What?"

Robin Williams called porn 'hairy pistons.' "

"Oh my God ..."

"Seriously, huh?"

"He's right," she reflected. "I mean, I've seen some good erotica. Read some too. But it's really hard to find."

Jams sounded like Beavis for a moment. "Heh-heh-heh. She said 'hard.' "

"Such a dork. Jesus."

"What?"

"You weren't even alive when that program was at its height."

He pulled back. "This whole age-difference thing really bugs you, doesn't it?"

She kissed him. "No. It really doesn't. What bugs me is how I'll be fifty in just over three years."

"The hottest fifty-year-old woman ever," he said.

"Yep. A dork," she replied with a knowing smile.

"You said that already."

"So ... a porn video?"

He shook his head. "No. An intimate video. Show me ... but don't show me. Get it?"

"You want cheesy bucka-bucka-wah-wah music with it?"

He laughed. "I want you in it. Your most real, intimate self."

She gave him a hard, piercing stare. "How do I know you won't post it?"

He gazed at her from inches away, his face very serious. "You don't. There's nothing I can do to convince you I'm not that guy. Just for the record, I'm not that guy. Hell, I don't even have a single social media account. But that's irrelevant." He shook his head. "I'm not that guy, Maggie. But you'll have to decide. If you want, we can do something else."

"We?"

"Sure. If you make a video, I'm gonna make one. It's only fair."

She smiled, her eyes heavy. "Really?"

"Jesus, you're sexy."

She kissed him. "I know what I wanna see," she said.

"What's that?"

She smiled wider and kissed him harder.

I don’t think yall understand how meaningful it is to have Oliver say “when you close your eyes it all feels the same” (kissing on screen). The fact that he doesn’t laugh it off, or say he had to push through it, or that it was a little weird like other actors have in the past is so incredibly important. This is him portraying a character and his sexuality, and it’s so validating to have the actor do his job the way Oliver has, in such a caring, positive way. It’s the feeling of finally belonging, of blending in when you’ve been marginalized and picked out all your life. Love is love, and a kiss is just a kiss.
