I’m on day 2 of this month’s week-long migraine and although I have a pretty bad fever (@annomally_: “you could fry an egg on your neck!”) and my brain feels like its swinging a pickaxe around my skull I’m very proud to have made it to a photoshoot and Skype interview this morning! Feeling very whacked from last night’s lovely @cosmopolitanuk #Pride party at @instagram HQ, where I took part in filming a podcast episode for the Meg-John and Justin Show! We talked a lot about how excellent the #LGBTQ+ communities are on instagram and I spoke about how very kind and sweet my followers are in particular. I love that we have our own little sunny section of the internet ✨💖✨ . This is the outfit I wore for my big talk on captions at VidCon. I’ve been considering turning it into a video because a number of people mentioned afterwards that it might be very helpful to others, especially other YouTubers, who hadn’t previously considered utilising them. The talk is 45 minutes long in all though so, in your opinion, would you rather watch one documentary-length video or should I break it down into a miniseries? I feel that the first option is a good convincer for using captions but the second one could be more useful as you can check just the part you’re unsure of and refer back as a guide...? 🤷‍♀️ . Giving my presentation on the importance of captioning videos on YouTube at @vidcon was such an amazing moment! I put lots of research and thought into it and I always love speaking in front of a crowd (I’m one of those weird people who gets nervous AFTER I’ve done something. Anyone else like that? 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️) Thanks to popular demand I’ve decided to turn the presentation into five easy and instructional videos. I want to do the subject matter justice and make them both high in production value and really thorough so the plan is to put them out in September. I think this @kirstydoyle skirt is honestly one of my best purchases EVER- I have lived in it all summer! Now I just need to collect the other 20-something colours! 😅 There is something so lovely and easy yet fancy about tulle... . Beautiful photograph by @cloudfoz taken just 2 minutes away from our house. The wonderful thing about living in Brighton is being so close to the city, to the sea and to the countryside all at the same time. I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else 🌾 ...especially since it’s so very gay. Our future babies definitely will not be the only ones in their class with two mummies! .
