Kiriko Asanuma (23)
The victim and sole survivor of a murder/robbery. Two robbers broke into Kiriko Asanuma's family home and murdered her parents and brother. Asanuma evaded the burglars by hiding in the closet. Although she survived, she became reclusive, and four days after her parents' death, a neighbour reported that Kiriko was unable to leave her house. She was rescued by authorities and hospitalized. Kiriko Asanuma disappeared on the 13th (year and month unknown), a month after she was first admitted to the hospital. She appears to have been suffering from the Tattooed Curse. Miku encounters her crawling under the floor of the Manor of Sleep, and Rei encounters her in the attic above Yuu's Room and in the Futon Room in the Manor of Sleep.
During the waking portion of Hour VII, Kiriko Asanuma is heard when Rei receives a phone call, screaming, "Let me out!"
Kiriko's character appears to have been inspired by a similar character from the J-Horror film Juon (The Grudge).
