hello, i have a question. how are the fatal frame games in terms of violence/gore? is it too explicit? i don't do well with that stuff but i've been wanting to play these games for a while now, so i want to make sure it's something i can handle. thanks!
Hi there! I'd say the games aren't that explicit - there's a lot of implied and described violence, scenes of the aftermath of violent death, and characters (ghosts) with visible injuries, but most of the actual violent moments aren't shown on-screen. I think FF1 and FF5 probably have the strongest scenes of gory stuff happening, although they're still petty brief and not that graphic, but maybe try starting with one of the other games first to see how you do? Crimson Butterfly and Mask of the Lunar Eclipse are both good places to start.
Hope that's helpful! Followers please chime in if I've forgotten something.

Playing with watercolor brushes and revisiting an old obsession. ilu scary games that I watch my friends play cuz I’m too chicken to play them myself
I don’t think I’ll finish her, but it was fun to do a little horror for a change!

Inktober day 26: Camera
Fatal Frame was the first game I bought for my ps2 without anyone telling me I should buy it. I looked at it, it looked fun, and boy was I right.
harrowing. But fun
