I'll share some Kiribbon headcanons why not:

-Ribbon was the only person Kirby ever really felt romantic feelings for

-Kirby was often the one who helped to comfort Ribbon over the corruption of Ripple star during the game (the others would also help as well, dw)

-The two wrote letters to each other after 64 to stay in contact.

-In my au, Ribbon never did kiss Kirby at the end of 64. As such, they have no idea if the other might have feelings for each other.

-Whenever Ribbon visits Popstar, Kirby lets Ribbon stay at their house

-The two are both simultaneously able to talk and hang out normally and be very flustered around each other

-Kirby made Ribbon a star necklace once, to matching with their crystal neckless

-Literally everyone else can tell these two have feelings for each other, and depending on who it is, they'll either try and help them or tease them

-They do want to confess their feelings about the other but are a bit too nervous. (They will confess one day, don't worry)
