ive seen the morpho knight butterfly in at least one ask so what's morpho up to?

don't worry! I have lots and lots more of morpho, and galacta, and morphogala, and all that... and more... I just have to remember to spite my anxiety more often. It's not "old and dated and I can do better", brain, I love my art! I love to draw! this time watermarking is a bit more aggressive, still figuring it out. once again dipping into my AU, just lightly, because this was supposed to be a test title cover for an RPG maker game I wanted to make, to tell the story of it. You can guess how that went. I gave up on it... not the AU, the game. here's other versions:

Not so graceful watermarking here, I know, they're unfinished so I don't care. I don't really like the one on the right. I couldn't get it right somehow. The one of the left is cute, I just didn't feel like finishing it... Is there any symbolism in this? Maybe...? I don't quite remember my thought process. I know all three were supposed to look way different, the water actually being stained, with colors representing [OC lore that I don't wanna get into yet]. I didn't know how to tackle it, so it ended up as it is. I did have fun with them though! The Butterfly looks so sparkly, and as my girlfriend put it, "it makes it look like a god". ...Speaking of, sometimes I wonder... With Morpho being often seen as godlike among the fandom, because of it's motifs of judgement and death... what if one day a future game just revokes that. What if Kumazaki decided, no, theyre just a random guy. Just a random guy obsessed with eating people or whatever. I mean it probably won't happen, but I can't help imagining it. It's my biggest fear. I'd be so pissed.

other sketches that didn't use the water motif. if I remember correctly, the first one was also supposed to have blood pouring down on Galacta. The second feels so cheesy. thank you for reading this far. if you did. I have just a few more finished/rendered things before we step into a more so sketch-y territory. (I don't usually finish drawings...) Untill next time! :D
