Back in December I had a very silly, very cute idea for the @goodomensafterdark Pillow Fight. When I offered it for collaboration in the GOAD server @kiratastic immediately jumped in... and instead of a single illustration SHE DID 4 COMIC PAGES. F O U R. And they're so adorable!! Seriously, they're perfect. 😭

Summary:

One day Darling, one of the town's stray cats, meets a weird couple that just moved in. It's strange that this white haired man keeps calling her name, but that's alright; his pets are the best. Or: The husbands meet a cute cat when they move in South Downs, and her name happens to be Crowley's preferred endearment. Crowley has to begrudgingly share Aziraphale's attention with Darling, and she's all too happy to get all attention just for her.

Excerpt:

"Now come sit, darling." He didn't need to ask twice. Darling jumped from the windowsill, directly into his lap, and at the same time, Red Hair sat on the other side — if that could be called sitting, the way he spilled his limbs on the booth — facing away from Angel. "Oof, oh, Darling! Do you want some cuddles?" "Ngk— nyeh— ggh, I'd like that actually—" Angel looked straight ahead, surprised but with a bastardy smile that Darling couldn't see, since she was too distracted by the soft fingers petting behind her ear. "Oh fuck— you were talking to the cat?!"

Oh boy another doozy where I simply can’t choose just one!

I’m going to include a few here but this is absolutely not an exhaustive list.

Honestly I had to cry when I saw the finished page, no not only then, I think I've been crying for the last few days...

But in a positive way of course 🥹

The next part will definitely be the final! I look at my very first comic with a teary eye and a happy eye, because I'm proud of every single page!

The Final of "No Nightingales?" (Part 19-22)

We have arrived at the finale of "No Nightingales?" my very first comic is coming to an end.

It's doing a lot to me emotionally. I can hardly describe it, it hurts, a lot... but at the same time it makes room for new ideas and new comics.

I'm so proud of my very first comic who brought me back to being an artist! ❤️

I know Christmas is over, but I'm only just getting into the spirit of it, who hasn't? 😂 It really does feel like everything has shifted, but it's okay!

I wish everyone, albeit belated, Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year and hope you've all had a good start to the new year 😗💖 I got off to a bit of a bumpy start, but at least it's (STILL) going well 😆

This post is currently also there to announce that a new comic is in the starting blocks, to anticipate it, it is no longer seasonal and, like me, is late, but Christmas wasn't that long ago, so look forward to the ‘Christmas Special’!

It's a continuation of and an interim story to my very first comic ‘No Nightingales?’ and I'm really looking forward to showing you the comic soon!!!

What if I told you that this was supposed to be the new profile picture, but the expression on his face made me change my mind? 😆

So Crowley was created next to it and thus the complete artwork.

Full colour artworks isn't really my thing, but it had to be done! And it still has its Comic charm 😍

I love drawing light so much at the moment, especially sunlight! It lights up my heart in these dark times 💛

Part 9+10 of "No Nightingales?"

A little late, again…

I soon have the feeling that my computer has something against me 🤣🤣

First it restarts and deletes my black lines, I know I should have saved it before 🤣

And then Air Drop stopped working to send it to my mobile phone 😂😂😂😂 My God, I'm just doing my job here! 🤣🤣

But 2 parts again, makes it a little smoother. And this part is a little more special, as there is almost no dialogue 😉

He still had a bit of anger that needed to be sorted out, what is the best way to solve this? With another kiss, what else! 😂

It took a lot of time and paperwork, but now the gates are open for my Pa🌹on!

I am grateful and happy about everyone who wants to support my artist journey!

I have divided it into 3 roses, each of which you can see described in the pictures.

As I've only just started using it, it will take a little while until there is exclusive material, but I'm on it!

My first dtiys 😀

I was able to keep the pose to 98%🤣

I just had to give Aziraphale the look of "I love you more than anything".

Already used the look in my Valentine Special Finale, it's just too cute 🥹🥹🥹❤️

And I will do it again 🤣❤️

I've only been working as an artist again for 3 months and started drawing digitally at the same time. So I thought I would use the tool I started drawing with again.

It took 3 times longer, but I had the time of my life! 😁😃

And I'm pretty proud of the result 🥹❤️

I have the picture once with glasses and once without 😁
