josefumi and kira are twisted in ways i find hard to put into words. like okay yeah they're scheming to steal funny fruit business to save holly's life, which is a honorable goal and all, but that doesn't make them not twisted people. kira's generally unpleasant and at least outwardly lacks a sense of empathy, and perhaps he lacks that completely and his desire to save holly is more something he feels he Has to or Should do. a kind of obligation to take care of your parent. i have less for josefumi atm but im sure it'll come up when i keep going if my brief glance of his wiki page is anything to go by hee hoo
