fujoshis are gross and really harmful to actual gay men
So let me get this straight: I’m harming random gay men I don’t personally know by... uh... reading a story, in my own house, and finding joy in it? Instead of worrying about women doing completely harmless things, why don’t you worry about actually homophobic legislators restricting freedoms for gay people more and more each day? Like, you do know that gay men are being told they can’t rent places or get jobs more and more as time passes, right? Why don’t you even remotely bother fighting against that? Sounds like THAT is harmful. Not women just liking stuff that’s completely harmless because it doesn’t involve anyone that’s actually real. Like, I don’t know how else to explain it to you, but that’s ye olde misogyny, bro.

in the woods somewhere?
In the Woods Somewhere- Have you ever had a supernatural experience?
I’m not sure I ever have, personally. Though, I regard every day as a ‘supernatural experience’. As I’ve said before, when I see thunder and lightning, I see the archangel Michael; or when someone passes on, I see the angel of death Azrael, and so on. But in terms of very personal experiences with ghosts, angels, spirits, etc. I haven’t had anything like that, to my knowledge. ~

vampire and fury?
Vampire: Someone offers you a chance at immortality. Do you take it, and why or why not?
I don’t think so. I believe every person has a fated end that cannot be changed no matter what. But even hypothetically if I just had a chance to change it, I wouldn’t. Everyone should experience life and death. Plus, all this time I devote myself to studying the angel of death, I sure would like to meet him eventually.
Fury: What is a word/phrase that you dread to hear?
I actually have a literal list of words that I hate, usually because they sound hideous to my ears. But in terms of a phrase, I basically hate any variation of “Think realistically.” Never listen to that nonsense, use your imagination to the fullest potential.

Velvet and Chantilly Lace?
Velvet: Describe yourself as if you were a character in a novel.
I’m unsure if this means talk about myself like I’m a character or discuss myself as if I’m the narrator, so I’ll go with the second one because it seems more fun.
He was hard to understand, it seemed as though he had no consistent persona; he was different every time I saw him. He was somehow both an academic yet very disinterested in academia, someone of immense faith yet prone to his own vices. He had few friends and almost no true confidants of any kind. He seemed like a weak gust of wind, simply being pushed along the currents of time.
Or if I’m to answer in the other way, I’m the character everyone forgets about until I betray the protagonist at the end and spawn a second novel.
Chantilly lace: Do people often mispronounce your name/call you something that isn’t your name or nickname? What is it?
Yes, it feels like this prompt was literally made for me. My name is Mohamed. Not Muhammad, Mohammed, Mahmud, Mehmed, Mehmet, Ahmed, Ahmad, or Tiffany. It’s Mohamed. Nobody ever assumes that’s how you spell it the first time. Technically, since I’m in an English-speaking country and this name is Semitic in origin, everyone including me mispronounces it. It’s pronounced ma-Ham-Mid or mu-Ham-Mad with the capital letters being more pronounced. Here, we say it like mo-ham-mid or something like that, with none of it being more pronounced; we say it lazily.
In terms of nicknames, everyone asks me if they can call me Moe instead because apparently saying Mohamed would be too much time for them. I always very clearly say no. Most people don’t, but apparently, it’s Starbucks’ code of law that even if I say no, they do it anyways. The Starbucks at my uni always writes it even though I’ve expressly told each employee at some point not to call me that. Personally, maybe due to people in my family I’m associating the nickname with or just the way it sounds, the name sounds thuggish and rough, not a name I like.
Sorry for the long answer. :p
