Hoggle answers with the ghost of a grouchy huff, for a moment looking all the world just like he had at the start of the journey. Before the magic of Spring had started it's work in smoothing out his wrinkles and sharper edges.

He could hardly argue against such a test. It was just the way fae worked. Especially with such high stakes involved. But still! Hmph!

The moment passed, and he then was walking across the platform to the side where the sand horse still waited. Grazing lazily at the few remains of cacti in the "front yard" of the castle. Hoggle raised a hand and more plants began to grow around the cactus. Date, apricot, pomegranate, plums, various desert friendly citrus- the knowledge of which plants to grow for the area and climate came to the dwarf's mind as if he'd always had it. And he knew he'd very much hadn't just a few days before.

All the same, Hoggle just lets it come to him. Trusting the magic. He uses it as he needs to. Soon enough, there's a fine selection for them to pick for breakfast. He grins at the handiwork for a moment before turning to the Summer Queen with a questioning look and a nervous show of hands.

"How's that?"
