Surt - King of the Kobolds

I’ve in generally tried to space these posts out, which is why they’re all in que, but these last two in the “Faulty Concept” section are short, so Imma just churn them out. This was a character that was stuck in my head for awhile, a pompous egotistical Kobold completely certain of his superiority, and with a high pitched voice to match. The main issue was he was VERY hard to take seriously and likely too comedic for long term play. I did however get the delight of the Firbolg Barbarian throwing me at something.  

Kobold - Fighter (Battle Master) - Noble - Chaotic Neutral - Surt

Backstory Concept: Kobold on a quest to vanquish evil in order to earn his claim to the title King of the Kobolds. Sent on this quest by his father Highlord Splurt. Speaks in a VERY high pitched voice.

Note: Idea abandoned/deemed suitable only for One-shots due to how comically high his voice is, and that his general personality seems incapable of being taken seriously and thus would ruin serious scenarios.

Appearance: 3′, 30 lbs. Red black scales, smoldering red eyes. Scrawny and angular. Has something resembling some sort of beard. Long thin horns jutting from the back of his head. Raptor like feat. Wears studded leather, wielding a Rapier. Clothes are mismatched and clearly don’t go together. Pants are baggy, green and white stripes.

i really love the 'it came to me in a dream' moments when writing.. i had just made the main human knight character for this story and named him but had no appearance in mind until i woke up this morning already 100% certain that he looks EXACTLY like george harrison

So, we went to the Rouge Lady to get some background of our amnesiac party member and to investigate the drug problem in Falcon's Hollow. We had a cancan plan!.. Well, it didn't work anyway, but it was fun. We also were drunk.

I'm finally well enough to stream regularly again!

Here's my updated schedule!!! Gonna play some Warframe, Planetbase, CK3, and start up a new adventure game!

I'm a little dungeon master, and for almost a year now my players and I have been exploring Darkmoon Vale. Well, more Crown of the Kobold King content! Syntira, Eternal Queen of Darkmoon Vale, my dear nymph queen. I love her (and her sister) so much, so I drew she as part of Inktober.

I'm so sad that Paizo didn't develop the Eternal Monarchs. And fairies weren't even mentioned in the Crown remaster, nor were some other NPCs that I dearly love...

So I ended up writing my own Darkmoon, using as a basis all the adventures in Falcon Hollow that Paizo published. Will I tell more about this? Who knows...

Invisible, and typically some degree of mischievous, there are three types of kobold: the household spirits, the mine spirits, and shipboard spirits.

Having previously covered klabautermann, those shipboard spirits, in this bestiary, the remaining types of kobold were only a matter of time.
