If your various Brach adopted AUs was taken by Velvet and Venner instead of Floyd, how would his adopted family react?
Rock Branch: Thrash is unfortunately a bit too mentally unwell to process it, but Barb is pissed. Actually, pretty much anyone in Rock City feels that way. Billy, Val, Demo, Petra, Riff, Sid Fret. The entire city is willing to storm Mount Rageous to save their prince.
Classical Branch: Trollzart is terrified for his son's safety. World Tour showed he had a lot of bravery and confidence, but it was shattered a bit by their lack of success. I think he'd request aid from the other tribes.
Country Branch: Also a bit of a 'rally the troops' situation. Hell hath no fury like a mother whose son is in a diamond prison. She'd also give the twins the talking to of a life time.
Funk Branch: Essence and Quincy are scared of losing a son again, and D of losing a brother again. The sisters have probably begun working on a 'Diamond Prison Bottle Opener' device, while Lownote is sure he left his 'Diamond-cutting buzz saw' around here SOMEWHERE.
Techno Branch: Trollex and Synth are already leaving to go get him. The second they found out they were out the door. Trollex is worried a fair amount, meanwhile Synth sort of expects them to fix this the Techno way and befriend Velvet and Veneer. When he realizes the stakes however he freaks out. Sobbing in front of the diamond bottle while Branch is trying to comfort him.

Does Hed help Les with grooming his back?
This is a really old ask about this post. And the answer is yes, definitely!
I ended up drawing them back in their room in Vibe City because I've been thinking a lot about them growing up there lately. This is a little before Les gets kicked out (big fight with dad) and they end up traveling around with Flea who is at uni at this point. (Flea isn't a local, he moved there because of uni a couple of years prior, and that's when Les and Hed met him. He is the only other mixed/non-fully funk troll they know at that point.)
In the drawing Hed is studying for a test. He's in the second year of high school when he drops out. This upsets and angers Les because he has good grades but Hed insists that they should form a band (like they used to talk about when younger) because he is secretly shit scared of letting Les live alone and fuck off to who knows where. - At this point in time Vibe City is pretty much grounded in the same location most of the time, and if Les doesn't have work, he likes to spend his time in the suburb/woods outside the city where he takes care of his beetle van, Scaab. And Hed is aware Les has been itching to leave the city for a while already...
This has been an unexpected mini lore dump, thank you for your time :P

Unfortunately they did not get burgers for Hank, but Connor at least learned a valuable lesson. I guess Nines suffers from Amelia Bedelia Syndrome.

Hi guys, this is actually a comic I drew and basically finished 11 months ago. And it’s been just about then since I’ve last really opened my iPad and did any drawing. There’s a ton of half-completed works on there and they’re pretty cute, so I’ll try to post them as I get the motivation. My therapist says posting to this blog will probably improve my mental health and he’s right but >:3c
So yeah! Let’s see what I can toss out this year, wooo!!

New Songs Getting Me Through This Summer
John Grant, "All That School for Nothing" (May 2024)
Funky, strange, modern AND cynical, this song was made for me
A.B. Cook, "Soulbreaker" (April 2024)
The (wild, spectacular, great concept) video is integral to my love of this song, but it's a banger on its own, especially on a late night city drive.
TWRP, "Content 4 U" (March 2024)
As an independent artist I basically just make the "Lisa Simpson staring dead-eyed into nothing" face if I think about this one too hard, but it makes me dance all the same. Even after blowing up, these guys still understand.
(Side note, if you ever have the chance to see TWRP live, do it; it's some of the most fun, positive energy I've ever felt at a show.)
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, "Antarctica" (August 2024) and "Set" (fall 2023)
KG makes Southern Rock I actually like AND a techno jam that powers me through any workout? Hell yeah.
