Capping off this little series of mine is Daisy, Piranha Plant, and King K. Rool! And two close friends of theirs.

This is probably my favorite Smash pic of the series, I love how everyone turned out!

While I thought the original art was good enough, looking back I didn't think K. Rool's appearance in Super Mario Spikers had much to set him apart.

So he got a rework, complete with new art and a new, steampunk, indestructible belly! Good luck breaking this now.

Mario Characters as Batman Villains - Day 20: King K. Rool + Killer Croc

While this combination is not exactly original, being that a crocodile character takes a villainous role of another crocodile-like character, it still fits quite well. But I can't deny that this is pretty difficult to do.

For pieces that I anticipate being difficult to do, I save them for the weekends where I hope that I have more time to finish them idea. One of the most difficult things about getting the idea right is to determine which version of the villain to pick. Certain ones are easier because they don't have much to reference, but the ones with wildly varying references like Killer Croc and Mad Hatter were rather challenging to do.

The swiping claw initially has a third hand in between the beginning and the end, but in the end it's removed because while I imagine it would look nice, I think this piece took way too much time than I imagined so it's omitted.

Nonetheless, hopefully this one looks good, and have a nice day.
