WELCOME TO MY BLOG!

My name is Wolf Morgan (but just call me Wolf) and I am a traveling pokemon trainer who comes from the Drirome region! I am nonbinary, I use she/they pronouns, and I am autistic (my special interest is railroad stuff, if you were curious)! I have been a pokemon trainer since the ripe age of ten, though originally it was simply an escape from my home life. I pursued badges and battling in a rather wild effort to get away from home as quickly as I could. I traveled a lot of regions as quickly as possible, and only finally slowed down when I settled in Alola, where I stayed for about two years under Prof. Kukui's roof before I moved on to other regions. I met Interstellar, one of my best pokemon, in Paldea just a few years ago and their ability to turn into what I can only describe as a living motorcycle spurred me to decide to start traveling and fully drop the battling thing (which I'd practically already done back in Alola) and commit full time to being an explorer and just...catch and train pokemon on my own terms fully. Now I roam region to region whenever I want and simply hang out, learn the cultures, and primarily spend my time traveling around the wilder areas with my mons.

Some of my pokemon! Silver (shiny eevee) not pictured because well. There wasn't enough space and he's more just in the background a lot of the time, poor fella's pretty anxious sometimes. This isn't ALL of my pokemon I've caught over the years obviously, I swap them around all the time because I'm very indecisive on who I wanna have on hand, but you gotta pick some pokemon to go on the card so I went with some of my favorites. Cocoa was my very first pokemon and she's my very best friend, I feel just as close with Stellar (who is apparently a pokemon called Miraidon!) despite having known them for far less time, Hathy's incredibly gentle towards me but kinda hates everyone else, Bentley's my partner in crime (different from Cocoa), and Frostbite is one of my emotional support pokemon alongside Aquali.

Like I said before, I just picked some of my favorites to go on the card, you will see me post about others alll the time, so if you see me mention one you don't recognize from this post, that's why!

Ah, I'd say I've rambled on long enough. Send me asks and interact all you please, I don't bite! Just know there will be times I'll be online all day and others where I'll barely be on at all, it's really up in the air honestly. But such is the life on an adventurer!

RULES/INFO ABT THE BLOG/CHARACTER:

The Drirome region is based off of the Appalachian area (where I was raised and still live) and is therefore themed heavily with the culture from said states. A place where most everyone brought up there has a southern accent and most prefer rural areas over anywhere in a big town or a city, populated by unique pokemon and the region where many big country music singers come to light.

okay i wanna write more about that pokemon post

first of all i stand by egg groups not defining species. in the real world the biological species concept states that a species is defined by being reproductively isolated, meaning it can't produce fertile offspring with any other species. however, there are plenty of groups of organisms that we consider species that are perfectly capable of reproducing with different species and producing fertile offspring, leading to hybridization and introgression zones and etc etc etc. there are lots of species concepts such as ecological (species is defined by their niche in their environment) or morphological (based on the physical form)

to explain in the simplest words why the biological species concept doesn't work with pokemon: skitty and wailord. there's no way they're the same species just because they share the field egg group (why is wailord in the field egg group anyway)

regional variants are the same species as their standard versions, but probably have a subspecies name that's different. maybe scientific names work like [genus] [species] [individual pokemon and/or variant] where like, meowth would have the same genus/species as persian, but the parts of the evolutionary line and the variants would have that third part being different. panthera elegans primis (normal meowth) vs panthera elegans alolaprimis (alola meowth)

typing can be taxonomically linked, but can also be convergently evolved. pikachu and dedenne obviously have a common ancestor that was electric type but alolan raichu being psychic type doesn't mean it has any close evolutionary link with like, medicham or something

grouping pokemon into types at all is primarily a human invention - yeah all pokemon can manipulate energy/elements in certain ways, and will be better at certain attacks than others, but exactly what types a pokemon is is mostly a game mechanic. like, drapion is poison/dark, but there's no reason it shouldn't also be proficient at bug type moves because a) skorupi is a bug type and b) drapion is still very bug-like.

plus if we wanna get into splitting territory i bet in-universe theres people who argue there should be a sound type (who could deny exploud is a prime example of it, as well as the sing attack?) or light type, among others. and then the lumpers are like "theres no functional difference from normal type so why bother splitting them up"

of course all of this assumes arceus and/or mew didn't just create all the pokemon in their current state, in which case taxonomic lineages don't matter because everything is equally "related"

and THEN we get into the issue of man-made pokemon like porygon. that's probably a whole different post.

Here is my evil team organization. Remember the droog  and child evil team, I asked that. So here is my grunts for Team Myriad. These children are obsessed with fighting trainers and never talk at all. Speak in rhynmes or numbers. Well sometimes but not often. Are they friend or foe?

“These child like grunts have mysteriously appeared in the Galar region. Their motivations and faces are unknown. The thing they love the most is pokemon battling.” Utilize in  normal, fairy, psychic, and steel. But will use other types if they have to. 

So do you like this concept? Also any criticisms for my drawing or improvements. Like their appearance, looks, or design? Would this be an interesting team?

I forgot about this sorry!!! I saw it the other day and forgot to reply.

Anyways, I really like the designs you have there and I can definitely see the inspiration from the Clockwork Orange aesthetics there. I like that they don’t talk and use rhymes, this is cool dialogue. It is, to me, relatively hard to picture it in an official Pokémon game because I don’t think Nintendo would want it to look too creepy and I can definitely picture this content in a creepy pasta aesthetic that I... don’t think Nintendo would wanna approach. It would be doable, though. And of course, as fan-content, even the creepy pasta style or other horror-related styles are valid. Anyway, it’s a versatile concept that could be used in many ways from just mysterious to actually scary.

I really like the masks, at first I was a bit confused because I thought these were their faces, before reading what you wrote there, but as masks these are neat. Also they are something I can see Nintendo going for, I mean, they literally gave Allister a creepy mask so why not?

Overall, yes, I like it! The concept is neat! As a basic premise for a team that works well for me, even if their goals are unclear. You are basically making the “unclearness” part of the concept. Also really like how you wrote their description in a Pokédex-style, like... the text really reminds me of Pokémon stuff. :3

The only thing I’m still kinda curious about is how this could be developped in order to remain interesting throughout the whole game/story (if a game/story were to be made with it of course), because in terms of narrative, just “it’s a mystery” with no further development can become rather boring or repetitive, or seem kinda disconnected from the rest of the narrated events (depending on how it’s done). Also it could be a problem if the mysterious events are not explained *at all* in the end (half-explained and up to interpretation endinds are good alternatives in my view, but, at least for me, “we’ll never know who they were after all” tends to be a disappointing ending).

Basically, I like the overall idea you gave me, there’s nothing here that I think is a bad idea, but I would find it hard to use if I were to make my own story with them because of the problems above. Maybe you have all that in mind and you already have a superb story with them that works perfectly well, in that case, great, I just wanted to mention what I thought of the concept in practical terms as a (bad) fanfiction writter. XD

BUUUUUUT of course I’m not the executive producer of Game Freak receiving the concept for the next game that I should review or anything, so all this is irrelevant. Even if you didn’t develop their story any further, that’s totally fine. You don’t even have the obligation of thinking this through and answering these questions, you can definitely just make your concept and visuals and not actually use it in a game/fanfiction/comic etc, that is perfectly ok. I’m just a boring person graduated in Language Arts that will go and make boring analysis of stuff. XD

About the art... I think it looks really cute! I don’t wanna go and criticize stuff based on style, like “the heads are too big, limbs are too thin” or something like this, because this is just your style. It’s an aesthetic choice. I could say that the heads are larger than what they usually are in Pokémon games, but honestly, so what? You don’t have to emulate the Pokémon style in order to create Pokémon content. So yeah, you can play with proportions as much as you want and since the drawings seem consistent in terms of symetry and style, that’s just ok.

That said, my only criticism might be...

1. The female grunt’s legs seem a bit too long (even considering the stylistic choices, I’m comparing her body proportions to that of the male grunt). Basically, if you put that same lenght of skirt on the male grunt’s body, it would go down to his socks, but on her she still has the same amount of skin + socks + boots under all that, you see? So maybe make her skirt shorter or make her boots and socks shorter... Or give up on showing parts of skin. It’s easy to lose the sense of proportions under loose clothes like skirts, but if you trace the body silhouette under her skirt, that will probably become clearer. It’s always nice to try and make a full silhouette or skeleton before drawing clothes, in my opinion. (Also this could have resulted from the angle you took the picture! could be just a distortion on the photo that made it look different, so if that’s the case, ignore this XD)

2. This could be a stylistic choice too, but I’m gonna mention it just in case, the limbs look kinda “noodle-ish”. This can also influence your measurement of body proportions like “where exactly does the arm bend”, “where exactly is the knee”, this sort of thing... Of course, as I said, it could just be style, like Adventure Time, for example. They just have those noodle arms. But since I don’t know if that was a conscious choice or not, I decided to mention. Lots of people (including younger me) start by drawing arms (and hands!) as a “continuum”, so if the arms are streched, they are just one straight line from shoulder to hand (some people will even make it shoulder to fingers and put the hand in the noodle pack). And if the limbs are bent, the elbows and knees, fingers and wrists, fold in not very precise places. However, I found it easier to draw arms, legs and hands by subdivinding these limbs into smaller sections. It’s easier to keep them proportional and understand how they bend. You made their arms fully stretched in a way where elbows are not visible and, in the girl specifically, seem a little bit short? Again that can defintely be used as stylistic resource, so only consider this tip if you’re aiming for a more realistically-proportional style.

3. You may wanna make the male grunt’s feet a bit larger? Also they are inclined and I don’t know if that was done intentionally or not. (or if it was just the paper bending a bit when you took the pic).

I’m like... not a professional artist or a teacher or anything. I’ve literally never studied art, so when I give out these feedbacks, they are usually based on my own life-experience and what I’ve learned drawing. But it’s always hard to set the line between style and mistakes. I was once told that you must first learn the basics of actually proportional anatomy before you can start playing with it, so when people ask me for tips, I try to stick to the things I’ve learned myself while developing my knowledge in anatomy and proportions. Not that I am like.. an expert, of course. So yeah, basically, don’t take my criticism as the ultimate truth, I’m still just learning just like you. ^^

About suggestions and improvements: Maybe add something to their canes, on the handle part? And maybe adding detail to their boots... But only if you want to of course. Also, have you thought of eyelashes for the masks, like... eyelashes on only one eye or something? This wouldn’t be for the grunts because I think they look great just like that and are already complex enough, but you might wanna use that for admins or something? Specially if it’s eyelashes on the lower half of the eye.

I also would like to say that I couldn’t read everything you wrote, sorry.... I’m bad with handwriting! So forgive me if I said anything redundant that you had already put in the info. ^^

remember me? probably not but in any case i’m back... kind of. not OFFICIALLY yet, and i’m gonna remake before i’m actually back for real, but thought i should say that hey i’m makin my return and to say what exactly i’m going to be doing, and you can see a big ol ramble under the cut down there if you’re curious!

so. why i stopped rping in the first place? several reasons. 

i was not on prozac and felt very sad very easily. 

i got bored with my portrayal of n for... a lot of reasons... stagnancy being one of the more major issues though. i wrote myself into a corner in many many ways and it sucked.

felt like i had to keep the same Basic N Concept that i made when i was... 17... because even though my n was now complex, it was still using the base from then and i wouldn’t be able to deviate from that without basically having to start over again and i felt like i shouldn’t/couldn’t do that and that just felt very awful all the time

why am i coming back now? well i have to be honest here it’s mostly swsh that even put this drive into me in the first place, but the reason i’m actually following the impulse instead of dismissing it is for a few reasons:

i stopped when i was an emotionally unstable teenager and now i am adequately medicated and no longer a teenager 

every attempt i have made to rp off of tumblr has fizzled out in one way or another and it’s Absolute Torment. i have been bored for months on end. i’m emotionally stable but still occasionally don’t get out of bed because i just don’t have anything to do so there isn’t any point. it is hell and i want out

i’m not gonna rp this edition of n again. we had some good times and all but he’s staying in 2018. i’m not even gonna call it “resetting” him, because that’d imply i’m returning him to the base n i started with back in 2017 and... uh... no, no we are not doing that. new n. brand new. sorry to anyone i had established stuff with, and sorry to anyone who finds that they preferred my old n, but Mr Griffin Just Can’t Do This Shit No More 

i’m still kinda workshopping new n, but i also know who he’s gonna be, just not sure like. where in the timeline he’s at. new n is a version of n that i only scarcely got to Try Out For Maybe 4 Posts when i was still active on here. new n is a lot more distant and aloof, depressed as shit all the time, inexpressive and unintentionally intimidating. fresh new boy. traumatised as hell and very lonely. that’s our new n

i will be making a fresh new blog, because although i’m not going back to the portrayal i used on here/enharmonics, i also don’t wanna delete everything, yknow? i am gonna use this url though

there’s a good chance that i’ll be making a raihan as well, though i’m not sure when, nor am i 100% sure that i’ll go through with it but let’s face it i probably will. i’m at the very least barring myself from that until i’ve actually finished swsh, because i haven’t actually done that yet, because despite the fact that i’ve been ready to go fight leon for days now i have not felt Ready, not because my pokemon aren’t strong enough they’re actually severely and accidentally overleveled no it’s because i don’t feel mentally or emotionally prepared i have had the game since the day it came out and i’ve logged 68 hours of gameplay and it was only a few days ago i beat the semifinals and finals and rose and have not advanced the plot at all since then

changes to my rules are imminent, and since i’ve just seen my mun page and realized how outdated it is i feel like i oughta note: if you haven’t already guessed, mr griffin is me. my name is griffin. calling me n is cool too but like my NAME-name is griffin. i sorta figured i was already going by griffin by the time i stopped using this blog but nope and honestly i am not fully sure why i assumed that

things i think i should note:

my family and i are moving sometime this month, it’s roughly an hour and a half drive to the new place and the date we’re planning on officially moving in is only a few days before christmas, so things are probably going to be kinda busy for me

i might look into applying for college once we get there and things have settled down a tad

in other words though i am coming back and do intend to be active i also uh kinda became an adult with ambitions and while i’m more stable i also still haven’t stopped having adhd or autism because that’s just a thing that can’t happen. just fyi

I would be happy to tell you more about them if doubling up is something you want to do. I have played all of the games //or at least watched all the cut scenes hehe// So I have confidence in playing most characters. Shipping wise feel free to ask and I can tell you. It's faster than me listing them.

-  A Love Live School Idol Festival Themed rp, we make our own unit of school idols and roleplay their adventures, highs and lows, could be a F// or completely platonic! also open to a M/F romance between 2 idols of different units //ex.Starlight Four vs Phantom Five//

- Miraculous , I want to do something with my girl who is a ballerina with a swan Kwammi, who has Marinette/Ladybug as her love interest. Can play Adrien/Cat Noir for you, otherwise I'm not as confident with the other canons. Could also just use Oc's and do our own thing. I just REALLY want to play my favorite black cat superhero. Chances are I will 100% make a pinterest board or something for the roleplay *-* I do have a couple ideas in mind regarding some villans // Jellyfish and Monarch Butterfly??//

-  Something with an animal cafe, where the workers there have animal like traits, a maid/butler has a crush on a human patron or fellow worker. A cute magical slice of life. A slow burn romance, that can play out as the seasons come and go

- Something like "A Simple Favor" . 2 single mothers meet each other through their children wanting a playdate. One being very bubbly and cheery, the type to make beautiful home cooked meals, do arts and crafts and run a blog. The second a chic business woman who lives a life of lavish events and the finest clothes money can buy. These two women over time fall in love, despite their different worlds. Sharing their passions with one another and watching their children grow. A sweet F// really 

-  F// spy or partners in crime kinda plot! need help building this one!

-  A witch curses a princess so that no man will ever fall in love with her! This backfires when the princess thanks her, as she is actually very into women. A cute F// rp

- A Fire Emblem rp with oc's? Basically build our own world? this one would be a lot of work. I do also have one Nohrian Cleric who I would love to use, fairly open minded about who I pair her with, so you don't have to worry about me claiming anyone. Happy to double!

- Something based off the mangas Beasts of Abigaile , the Case Study of Vanitas or Mermaid Boys I am very into these recently and am happy to do oc's or canons. or, build something similar of our own.

-  Magical girl stuff. Sailor Moon, Winx Club, Shugo Chara, Pretty cure, etc. I would love to do something akin to a second gen or using various anime as an inspiration to the rp!

- A Marvel rp, specifically with the Thor universe. I would like to do an rp with Loki x Oc, where I play as Loki, since I miss playing him. I saw Thor Ragnarok and didn't know I needed to see Loki in a suit. Prefer that your character had a faceclaim, and not picking on if they are male or female really, like I said, I just really want to play Loki and have him fall in love, and yes, I have seen infinity war

- Adding to the Marvel fandom, I am also happy to play spiderman/Peter Parker for your oc, or Venom/Eddie Brock for your oc. I'm looking to get some experience playing as them, so I would not be expecting us to double, as I don't have an oc of my own that could fit with them.

- Black Butler, I really got back into this and am dying to do something with oc's or canons //maybe even a good canon x oc?// I want to use my oc who would be a maid, similar to Seb, a demon who also has a thing for ciel, not so much romantically. Happy to play Alois, Sebby, undertaker, ciel, or claude for you. 

-  A cute slice of life rp? a pinch of magic? Maybe a young wizard and witch? one from big city the other from a small town in the country?

-  Peter Pan based rp, I had a few pairings and ideas in mind, the 2 I most crave are Captain Hook//TinkerBell and Captain Hook//Peter Pan. I just want to play a captain hook using Hugh Jackman as Hook's FC. BxB or BxG is fine by me, I'm just looking to have the roles reversed, where Hook is the good guy, taking in the lost boys who peter intends to 'thin out' when they start to grow up, and having them join his crew for refuge. He tries to save as many as he can, but sometimes he shows up too late or things get in his way //peter's trusty pet croc?// I like the idea of having there be a routine of Peter collecting a new 'Wendy' Perhaps as a sacrifice to keep him young and keep neverland's magic? Plot with me?

- Very much wanna do a Red Riding Hood style rp, can be cute and fluffy or dark and eerie! The cuter plot would be an academy that teaches two entirely different crowds, the first being the Red Hoods, a class made up of boys and girls who will go into the world and become protectors to ordinary folk. While the other class is the wolves, those either willing to learn to control their gifts, and those thrown into the academy in fear of them running loose with no supervision. Dark and eerie plot could be more historical fantasy, again, there being a group of Red Hood's, who protect their villages and towns from the werewolves that stalk the borders, ready to pick up one weak and foolish enough to stray from home. A red goes hunting in the woods, as they are the only ones experienced enough to fight back, and finds a trapped wolf, and chooses to help them. The wolf then taking shape into a human thanks the Red Hood and promises they won't forget the kindness. This could also be swapped, where a Red has harmed them self and can't get back to the village, and a wolf assists them. Can be F// M// or F/M. I prefer to play the wolf if I can, but am just as happy to play a Red Hood. ^^ we could do multiple pairings for this as well

Send me a 🎮 for me to review a random game I own, and specify the genre/type if you wanna as well! hmm considering this is a pokemon blog I better start this off with my review of the Pokémon series, yes?I’m gonna kinda go over all the games at once cuz they’re very samey ... surprisingly I actually do not like Pokémon that muchI really do not like strategic based games at all, so I’m not into the competitive aspect, and I’m not into the story either— they’re always very bland/predictable. I liked it the first time I played Heart Gold as a kid because I was seeing all these cool new monsters and wow wow wow!!! But since then the Pokémon mainseries games have very much lost their charm for me, though I can definitely see why others like them— they’re just not for me. I prefer games based on reactions and quick thinking rather than the more tedious adventure that Pokémon has you on. It’s still a calming game to wind down with, but it just doesn’t do it for me in the gameplay department. It’s good (albeit samey with pretty crap stories) just not for me. Mostly I like the designs/potential, and some of the side stuff you can do in the games. Pokeathlon was my fav.

HOW I RUN MY BLOG

SPEED:  Lately it’s been super unpredictable due to the laptop shutting down. Generally I respond quickly to things, sometimes it’s slow cause I am burned out. Messages I can be slower to responding to due to wanting to handle a reply, or reblog something. Although I will admit the days I’m on here for a long while I spam the dash with backed up replies and drafts. I try to go in order of who last asked or replied ot something though unless a crack thread is happening. 

REPLIES: 

Again spotty lately cause of laptop, but I get em done. Tbh generally I answer as soon as possible simply because for most rps I’ve thought ahead, sometimes even thought of five different ways it could go, and just want to see what the other person has come up with. Cause depending on how they answer decides which path the story is going.  Although lately with longer replies it can take me a week because I really want to make sure the response is a good one. To crack posts though I am on the ball most of the time since they’re fun and short lived.Also yes if I’m more invested in the story usually means I’ll answer faster. (idk why this area of text is small, sorry)

STARTERS: 

(idk why this text is big, weird computer is weird) I love and hate them. When I have a starter call it’s usually in hopes someone I haven’t rped with jumps on it. Also do I plan it, yes I do. I normally post it when I know that mun is on. If just wanting general threads I post it around my prime dash traffic time. The one thing that I hate about these though is that sometimes someone will like/reblog it as asked and tbh I have no clue what to write a starter on. I want to message them my ideas to see what they like, but I get too nervous to do that since I feel it will bug them. It’s especially hard when I can think of an au of mine that would be great, but I know that’s not what they’re expecting to get. So I love these and hate these. 

INBOX: 

I love anything inbox I get generally. Whether it’s prompted by an ask, someone commenting on another rp, teasing or messing with Karen, a way to start another rp, response to a crack thread, M!A, questions, commentary, or memes. I love getting them because it’s like a way of saying,”I want to help build this with you.” Which is super nice! I usually respond to these quickly unless working on a draft, and I currently only have one I’m stumped on answering. (sorry to that person still waiting) Seriously though I love getting inbox stuff. 

SELECTIVITY:

About everyone says this but it’s true: If I follow you I want to interact. Simple as that! I’m really not all that selective and will just about anyone a shot. (I say just about anyone because some people have come at me asking in a rude way, so that’s a hard no.) Granted I have met some people I just don’t click with. Nothing against them as a person, or anything the way we write just doesn’t click so we both just move on. It’s completely fine, and part of life. Granted I also do prefer to rp with pokemon accounts just because it’s easier to plot, but I’m not strict on it. 

WISHLIST: 

I have a list of actual listed plots I’d like to do under #wishlist, but I’ll give broader stuff here. More intense plots, fluff is fun but like I have so many angst gritty ideas just floating around and I wanna use them so badly. There’s so much potential with some of the things set up with other accounts too, so I’m just eager to go for it. Also I have Twist!Au if anyone wants to deal with Karen as a bad guy which I am down with. Tbh anything with the Aus I have would be awesome. 

As for fluff stuff though Karen and romance is a fun area. I mean she’s so uncomfortable with it, so heck yeah I wanna explore that. Though I like realistic ones too where actions you do can affect this, consequences apply, and it’s a process the people go through together. This stuff is great to me.

A minor thing, but speaking of floating plot ideas when I first started to rp i was hooked on like cryptid plots, you know where one or more characters are vampires or something of that nature. Yeah well that lead me thinking up a million unique story threads for all the various cryptids, and needless to say if anyone wants to rp that please hmu cause these are just sitting there.  

HONEST NOTE: So I go by Louise, or Karen mun, either works. I really am not all that intimidating despite my rules being so extra long. That’s only because I want to eliminate as much confusion as possible, and I would shorten them but I still get people not following simple ones like,”please don’t flirt with the mun,” so I keep them all there that way no one can say it isn’t stated. (I have written business contracts so this is likely why I am so extra, I’m sorry.) Also surprisingly in real life I’m more animated which I know is usually the reverse for people. Also while Karen is fairly manga based I literally only know her section and a few others from the manga. I kinda made it so she can interact with anime or game verse characters easily, and don’t mind chatting if you wanna clarify anything.

Sawamura Daichi

Starter Pokemon: Turtwig

So, legit, I think these two would one hundred percent balance each other out. Turtwig is always by Daichi’s side and he knows this from the constant nips and nudges at his ankle as they’re walking - all pure affection, but you can totally see the red of the irritated skin regardless. And if there’s ever a time Daichi gets upset, Turtwig is the one hiding (even if it’s not him that Daichi’s mad at) which is kinda what brings him back despite subtle comments of him being a coward. But, when Daichi’s the one down - maybe from the loss of a gym battle - Turtwig is totally all over the place, even ready to fight anyone he needs to!

Sugawara Koushi

Starter Pokemon: Piplup

They would be like two little freaking peas in a pod! Like, seriously, just watch them together and you’ll definitely see that they were made for each other. They just have the same behavior as one another and everyone knows that even though Suga has left that doesn’t mean that anyone can act up because Piplup will be right there to put them in their place for him. Lol, I’m also one hundred percent sure that Suga is the only one Piplup will EVER accept food from and I guarantee it’s been tested multiple times by Asahi in hopes that she’ll warm up to him one day!

Azumane Asahi

Starter Pokemon: Totodile

Just think about this boy with this Pokemon for a second. Like, he would be all excited and super nervous about it liking him and when they meet for the first time, Totodile freaking cheers and starts running circles around him. Oh, lordy, a whole new level of energy has just walked into his life! But let me tell you, he is so freaking in love, because they are his first Pokemon and they’re beautiful and everything that is special to him. He spoils Totodile like crazy and gets insanely worried when they wonder off, but they are always returning because they absolutely want Asahi’s love just as much!

Tanaka Ryuunosuke

Starter Pokemon: Tepig

Awwww, I just see this scene in my head where Tanaka shows up with Tepig by his side and he just starts boasting about how badass his Pokemon is and all this stuff and there’s freaking Tepig. He’s just wagging his tail all stoked to be there and looking just like the adorable little fire pig he is rather than the intimidating image Tanaka was expecting. The training on getting Tepig to pull similar faces as Tanaka is still in progress, but really, the training pretty much means nothing when they’re laying next to each other at night and Tanaka is making all these pouty faces at Tepig just before kissing him on the nose and giving him berries.

Ennoshita Chikara

Starter Pokemon: Chikorita

I feel like these two are just those best buds that you can never imagine one without the other. It’s an oddity when Ennoshita is without Chikorita and vise versa. From everything they do, from training to sunbathing on summer days, they’re always together. As a consequence, these two totally have a bond that requires no words at all, they can simply look at each other and know exactly what is going on through each other’s minds. They can definitely be a force to be reckoned with when they want to be!

Nishinoya Yuu

Starter Pokemon: Chimchar

Okay, so I know that little tuft of hair on Chimchar’s head is natural, but I keep imagining Nishinoya styling it himself so that they look the same! But this boy is so in love with his Pokemon, he spends more time than he would admit pampering his sweet Chimchar. He’s also the type to not keep Chimchar at his side, he’ll let her roam if she wants to, he knows that she’ll never wander far even when he doesn’t have an eye on her - which more often than not has resulted in Chimchar sneaking up behind someone for a good scare, it always cracks Noya up!

Hinata Shouyou

Starter Pokemon: Torchic

I just love this idea of this baby crow having like a baby… fire crow? But think about this little thing following Hinata around everywhere he goes! Torchic is right on his heels, chirping happily the entire way. I’m sure they had to work on some separation anxiety - for the both of them - for a good while, but they’ve gotten to a healthy point together. Torchic still follows him around mostly everywhere and Hinata still gets a little worried when Torchic isn’t somewhere he can see it, but they’re just so freaking cute!

Kageyama Tobio

Starter Pokemon: Charmander

Kageyama was completely terrified of obtaining his first Pokemon and further worried when this sweet Charmander ran straight to his legs in acceptance. It was definitely good that Charmander happened to be so well behaved otherwise this poor blueberry probably wouldn’t have known what to do with himself. Their bond grew fast and before they knew it, they were a very in sync team, but Kageyama trusts no one but Charmander now - he even has a hard time with other Pokemon he trains - but he is getting there!

Tsukishima Kei

Starter Pokemon: Snivy

They are that cool, calm, and collected duo. At all times they’re there to lay their judgmental eyes on you. And I can totally see Tsukishima just having whispered conversations with Snivy even about the most mundane things. When Tsukishima first started training, I could see him being reckless with his Pokemon thinking that he honestly didn’t care, but when Snivy got seriously hurt and he had to rush him to the Pokemon Center he swore to never take his Pokemon for granted again.

Yamaguchi Tadashi

Starter Pokemon: Mudkip

Just, omg, I see Yamaguchi walking around all the time with Mudkip in one of those baby slings that mothers use for newborns all the time. It’s like Mudkip just refuses to come out and Yamaguchi is more than happy to keep him close to his chest. If you wanna talk about being inseparable, it’s these two. And while Yamaguchi completely spoils all of his Pokemon, he’ll sheepishly admit that Mudkip might get special treatment.

First “game” idea, i suppose so.

Hello guy, or some poor guy who accindently stepped in my blog.  I will try to explain to you my “first” gaming idea, which could be cool, interesting or just a nice new way for gaming or concept ideas.  The idea stemmes out of these “old” drawings i made, few years back. (if you gonna ask why they are paper drawn, well, i cant draw digital, i simply cant) 

The Idea with these Bugkids (yeah i know that spiders and scorpions arent bugs, but just take the name as a “blanket” name, kinda like pokemon) was imagining them in a city scale “imagine nerf” war between different factions, but no serious stuff, just having fun with nerf style wars.  So they “fights” are in style of less complex, but still twisty, xcom like turn based and tile based strategy. Like, there are no extremly complex percetages probality of getting a shot on the enemy, i tried to make it only 4 probality types: No hiding: 100% shot  Light defence (like hiding behind a carton box or a sheet of that stuff):75% chance of hitting, you know, it could break it or just shove it away.   Mid defence (like hiding behind a low wall or hedge fence, or wielding a hard plastic “riot” shield or just hiding behind a wooden stool like table): 50% chance of hitting, basically your enemy could look up and get a shot or just hiding proper and waving his dart blaster (in game the guns are called blasters to be clear).   High defence (like building walls or beton pillars if they play in a construction site like place, or just behind really high fences): 0% chance of hitting, its kinda obvious ?  So thats the the defence mechanics (sorry if i ripped Mario + Rabbids in that idea, but its kinda hard to invent a new defence system without being kinda ripoffery)  So the next “big” mechanic is that all chars can wield all kind of blasters, from classic couple shot pistols (imagine it like the nerf maverick or hammershot) to the heavy as it can get, (imagine the mega dart mastodon, The judge or hailfire) But only certain kids can wield the REALLY big guns, so we are going to talk about: Char quirks, these are randomly asigned passive abilities, which can hinder or help a bug kid in fight. Imagine something like: The positive ones: “Hardy skeleton”, for more HP (in game they dont die, just lie down on the ground, fake K.O.), “Conpound eyes”: Higher chance of hitting target (in game its just increased by 25% or for balancing, 10%) and or “Extra pair of hands” which lets you wield two extra one hand blasters, or one extra two handed gun, but the akimbo style and extra big gun costs one extra “action time” (imagine it being a semi large circle, divided into 3 same slices, some quirks can increase or decrease the size of them). There are too negative quirks, like: Sloggy reaction: decreases the action time by one slice (from 3 to 2 slices), Cowardly aphyd: If hit enought time, starts to flee against the direction of the enemy. Then there are “boy quirks”, notice for example Sparas body, she doesnt have the common 2 feet, she actually has 4 (in universe spiders or scorpions have 6 limbs, dont hack on me being not scientific, imagine the games universe being in a cartoony world, kinda like spongebobs bikini bottom), this “exta” is a “body quirk” which changes the chars appearance and adds both a positive AND negative quirk, this one is called: Spider legs: Adds more radius of movement and allows the char to over walk small terrain problems or barricades with ease (terrian could be: mud, water, fresh meton or just spilled stuff) (barricades are low and mid hiding spots), but this quirk has some bad parts, like you cant hide in light defence, if this hides in light defence hidings, it becomes no hiding.  Other there is Filips “stinger tail”, which adds you ability to destroy enemies defence hidings, like carton baricades or plastic shields (in universe it would be just piercing the carton and smacking away the shield), but the tail makes him more accesible to damage, just 2 or 5 extra damage from blasters. And other more, imagine it if Xcoms soldier creation combined with sims personality mixing.  But thats just part of my “big” game idea, i think this “project” gonna be called: “Insecity: City wars of kids”  Sorry for the big wall of text, i am a preety wide writer guy. I am really sorry for your nerves to come here, but wanna comment on this idea ?

what’s your background?

education-wise, i started off studying computer science but didn’t like the school and ended up transferring and getting an undergraduate degree in women’s studies with the plan of going into social work. i wanted to find ways to use technology to help marginalized people, however, i found that the social work programs i was interested in had little to no discussion of technology at all! so now i’m pursuing a graduate certificate in Human-Computer Interaction with a focus on assistive technology - i’m currently working with an occupational therapist advisor to complete an independent study on the therapeutic usage of games! it’s kinda cool.

gaming-wise, i really started playing games in the playstation/n64 era, but have since gone back and replayed some of the earlier classics. formative games from my youth would probably include spyro the dragon, the first three generations of pokemon, melee, starcraft, neopets, metroid (fusion was my first lmao), runescape, guild wars, unreal tournament 2k4, and the sims.

in terms of game development, i started programming simple text-based adventures on graphing calculators in middle school, eventually creating action games that pushed the limits of TI-Basic. i spent Years messing around in gamemaker and made a bunch of shitty games that nobody ever needs to see. i did some level design in unreal engine, made a few simple games in python / java, and have dabbled in various engines/frameworks such as twine, ren'py, fpscreator, blitz3d, and pygame. i also have tried to make some web-based games in php/javascript/etc., but was never really satisfied with the results. these days, i work mostly in Unity/C# which i absolutely love. i’ve worked on a small team or two, but mostly do everything (art/music/coding) myself, which is super exhausting.

why are you making this blog?

i realized that i spend a fair amount of time on my main blog talking about games & game development, and thought it would be cool to collect my thoughts in one place / have a space to review or discuss random games that i play.

☕ - What is your go to coffee order?I actually don’t drink coffee regularly. When I do, I just say “coffee please” and take whatever is poured out, dump 2 spoons of sugar and drink down liquid diabetes slash hypertensive rush.

🍁 - What season is your favorite? When are you most productive?I personally like spring the most- the weather is nice and there’s rain. But I am most productive in winter. The long nights are good for getting me into the study gear early especially since the prayers get wrapped up fairly quickly and then you can settle down at really long, uninterrupted stretches. 

🌴 - What would your dream vacation be like?A place where I can go swimming without having to worry about anything? Is that too much to ask for. So like, maybe on some vacation island where the beach could be reserved just for me and I can finally go and jump in the waves and swim in the sea without having to worry about all the stupid stuff Muslim women have to worry about.

🌍 - If you could live anywhere in the world, where would that be?Somewhere where it’s cold. Or where there’s no summer. Man, I really don’t like living in warm areas. I don’t like the obligatory sweating that comes along with it, especially when I’m covered head to foot anyway.

🖼 - Do you like your blog theme? Is there anything you would change about it?I recently updated my blog theme actually! To a bit of a pastel purple ish thing and I like it so far. I have no idea what to do with the space on the side though, there’s room for a column image and I don’t know what to put there. Initially I was thinking about making a soft purple aesthetic for myself but I don’t see that happening until after my proff.

🎨 - What colors do you like your notes to be?I stick to solid black and blues for the body, colored pen for the title (if the thickness of the paper permits it. Why are most of the papers I have so flimsyyy) and important points brought to notice with highlighters

⏲ - Do you study better in the morning or at night?I study better at night in my opinion but whenever I get up early specifically to study, that’s pretty good too. Unfortunately I have a really hard time getting out of bed. I tend to lay there and look at the ceiling or browse through my phone and then doze for another hour before actually getting up and having breakfast. It’s for times like these that I really wish I had a study buddy who would spam me messages on whatsapp or whatever and force me up to study.

🌠 - What is your dream job for the future?Well! To be very honest, I want a solid, good paying job as a doctor so I can sit down and do all my projects in peace and with my own funding! For example, I really want to write a novel and maybe try writing a video game script/drawing for a video game I wanna make with my friend, also, I definitely want to see if I can make a Pokemon game based on pharmacology a real possibility! I’ve also been told my med school notes are good enough to be made into a book, so maybe once I’m done with school and have a good idea of what’s important and what’s not, I could start compiling a nice handwritten manual for medical students. It would be #aestheticgoals lol. 

☁ - What type of weather do you feel most comfortable in?Winter please. I hate summer. Rain is good except not when I’m stuck outside my house and have to navigate muddy roads.

⚽ - Have you played any sports?Not really? I’m not a very sport-y person.

🏅- How competitive are you?I’ve lost all spirit of competitiveness when I entered med school. I used to be above average, in the top 30s during the first two years. Now in third year, I have been consistently scoring below average. I cannot believe how and why this is happening. No matter how much effort I put in, it seems I am stuck. But I guess it’s okay, cause at least my stand alone score isn’t that bad. There’s just too many geniuses in my class.

🎧 - What type of music do you study to?I’m an emo edgelord, I like Starset a lot. 

💻 - Electronic or physical notes?Physical please. I really like writing things down and using colors and stuff.

🎬 - What movie or tv show helps you wind down?I don’t really watch things to wind down. Maybe if I am stressed or something, I’ll go on Youtube instead. I really like watching Philip DeFranco’s videos- they’re really interesting and it’s kind of like a podcast so you don’t have to be watching the video the entire time. It’s kinda relaxing.

📚 - Do you prefer to use sprial notebooks or composition books?Spiral notebooks all the way. I never really liked composition books because they feel very restricting to me (you can’t tear out pages whenever you like, for starters).

📖 - Favorite school subject?Currently? Argh. I don’t know. They’re all so difficult! But now that the year is slowly coming to an end, pharmacology is starting to fall into place, kind of like how organic chemistry was for me at the start of the school year: too many compounds and reactions suddenly fitting together in the break right before the CIE exams. I can feel the pharma slowly shift into place but I’m quite far from getting a complete puzzle just yet.

🖊- Favorite highlighter color?I really like all of them? I actually color code a bit, like when I’m studying pathoma, I use pink for patho points, blue for clinical presentation, orange for random details like risk factors and green for histology description. I think my favorite is blue and green though. Oh and I’ve been saving my purple highlighter lol but I feel like it wouldn’t be one of my favorites when I actually use it. Dark colored highlighters aren’t very nice :\ 

🏫 - What grade are you in?I’m in my third year of MBBS! Which correlates to MS2 by the American system of med school.

📅 - Do you use a calendar? Does it help you to stay organized?I don’t use a calendar, but I do use a bullet journal. I’ve been using it since my A levels and it really helps me plan things out as well as see at a glance what I’ve studied and what I haven’t. So yeah, it’s good. I don’t know if I’m organized, but I sure feel organized!

Alright. So I have been giving it some great thought about it. And believe me when I say I have been thinking about it cause I didn’t just go up to Montana to hike to just hike. I went up there and gave it some thought. Also, I had an 8 hour car trip to think about it too so yes. All that aside though!

Honestly, there is no other way to say this other than his name’s gonna be the man himself lol. But like, really this OC would take it a step further because I would be taking most/all of those minds at that time. Honestly, IDK how else to explain it rather than to say that I will be RPing Nikola Tesla ( perhaps in his younger years ) with the capability of manipulating electricity. Many other people will have other abilities as well, but its all in a universe that I will make -- a universe based on true history ( the entertainment world has always done this so it should be fine ). 

Problem with this is that it will take A LONG TIME to build on his world. So if I make his blog, much of the worldbuilding will come as I go. Also, I am not sure that I would even start this blog until after the summer is over. So if you pick him, just keep this in mind.

2. The original dragon: Vahirom  (New)  (Pokemon)

Note: I WILL NEED THE PERMISSION FROM THE ARTIST/MUN. More lore from them at their deviant art here. also note -- I have gotten permission from artists/people before, this is not the problem. I just need you all to know that due to the fact that communicating with the original creator takes time so if you guys decided that I should do this muse, I will not be actually startign this project until after the summer is over as well.

That being said, I would be RPing him from an ancient pokemon world standard, and most interactions would be as if a time pokemon (celebi/dialga) threw your muse into the ancient world as the modern verse would only be for those who have asked beforehand or have plotted with me.

3. Mina Carolina (Reboot) (SNK)

I have the original blog here and the attempted reboot here. She was canon divergent but god was she adored and great. @deimpetueux I’m mentioning you here for a few reasons. 1: I interacted with a jean and holy SHAT they hated each to her but they also loved each other. 2: FFS its freaking Mina. 3: no really honestly she was what kept me in the fandom for so long. 4: Youre a great jean and honestly you’re the reason why I kinda wanna bring her back and I wanna give you the credit for that.

I also had an AU!Mikasa but honestly the reason why that fandom died out for me was because the muns for Annie, Marco(s), Jean, Levi, Eren and Gunter, all just got up and vanished. I speak with Levi-mun from time to time, and I know what happened to Eren-Mun but the others I have absolutely no idea what happened. (probably because I took a long hiatus and we lost contact) Since then I just kind of kept her on the shelf. 

So if you wanted to hit me up and help me with her I would love that. You seem to great a great person and I LOVE your jean. Though I would need to figure out who would want me to revive her again. message me if you want ( and if you have the time ) we can talk about it more.

4. Multimuse Blog (hear me out on this one - there’s a kicker)

Honestly, there are A LOT MORE MUSES I want to revive. The list could just go on an on. Here allow me to start listing some: Lani, Hugh, Touya/Touko, Mikasa, Ymir (SNK), Victini, Yvonne/Yveltal.... Yes, I have a lot of Pokemon muses. But in addition to that I also have Red, Ambertwo, the Suicunes, Maxima and Yuya as well ( three of which have their own blogs) AND I also have a touhou OC as well that I wanted to get on more but couldn’t due to activity. 

Honestly, I have so many muses, but if I had to be honest with you NONE of them go past 200 followers. Not even Red. My Red (this blog) has the most followers and from them, there are less than 50 blogs active on my dashboard. So sometimes making a new muse is a chore for me (as you can see) because I have very VERY little activity on them, but I work really hard on the muses.

Now that being said, IF people voted for the multimuse blog I WOULD actually include the Tesla OC as well (probably not Vahi, and Mina will always have her own blog tbh). I would also semi include any current muses I have now that have their own blogs, Mainly because I don’t think I’d be able to actually move them completely over to a multimuse blog.

And yes, I also understand that there are some people who don’t follow multimuse for the fact that it (the dashboard) gets cluttered. I am keeping this in mind -- but also keep in mind that I do actually use the queue and WOULD be using it to layer out the more side stuff like pictures, musings, etc. To each his own though right. if you don’t wanna follow a multimuse blog then thats fine. But there is also another reason why this multimuse blog would be slightly different than others.

For this blog, there will be its very own “mascot” of the blog if you will. This is for theme uses and all, but this mascot will serve slightly as a mod in a way. Well, think of her as the “god” of the blog. Any “ooc” posts would be coming from her, not me. And while, yes its slightly a self-insert, she will NOT be used for RPing. Rather, she’s just there to make the blog almost less annoying if you say. In a way, she would be me. yet at the same time she wouldn’t as she would be the one directing you guys (as muns). Its just to make the blog a little more lighthearted and playful. 

She will have a theme: since she is “godly” she’ll know the muses of the blog. In addition to that, she’ll be aware of portals/dimensions -- so if it seems like she’s breaking the fourth wall, its cause she actually is. She wouldn’t intrude on anybodies RPs though and I would make her separate from the other muses. But its just for the sake of making a theme for the blog so it doesn’t seem like I’m playing favourites when I make the theme. (I am a theme maker and thus she would be who you see when you click on the url)

5. Don’t make a new blog.  go pay attention to your other Muses and Red

I give you this option as well because hell, I do still have Yuya and Maxima.

When I created this blog: Fuuuuck, like...Five years ago maybe? I don’t remember, I just know it was when I started art school and I think that’s when I was around 20.

Do I get asks regularly?: Not as much as I used to, back when I used to have an askblog. People used to come talk to me all the time then. I kinda miss it, but I think I can handle living in relative obscurity if it means I don’t have to catch crap from anyone.

Why did I choose my URL?: I’ve been Triforce-Kun for...well, it’s been exactly ten years. I guess maybe a month over. I chose it way back when because I wanted something that other Zelda fans would recognize easily that wasn’t Link or Zelda or Ganon, but just “Triforce” sounded boring to me. I was also a total fucking weeb, so I tacked “-Kun” on there because I thought it sounded friendly. And also because I hated hated hated being a girl, and proceeded to spend six months pretending to be a guy. @miladymidori remembers that shit, as do @7outerelements and @professor-helms I’m sure. What up, my fellow guys.

Gender: I guess I’m a girl. I’m pretty secure with that about 95% of the time. I don’t hate myself for it like I did back in high school.

New Drawing Challenge Incoming!!!

First off, sorry for not posting much the last few days. With the combination of classes starting up recently AND getting sick with a sinus infection over the weekend, I didn’t have the time or energy to draw much.

BUT

I have a tradition and want to uphold it.

It all started a few years ago when I first decided to pursue a degree in the arts. Long story short, theater caused me too much emotional stress and I finally figured out after three years that I don’t need an English degree to be a good writer, which is my main ambition in life. Now if only I’d listen to my Dad when he said the exact same thing after my first semester...

Anyway, I was taking an art class and one of the requirements was to fill up an entire sketchbook. Now this was something i’d never done before and seemed daunting to me. But luckily a good friend of mine, in fact the one who convinced me to change my major to something in the arts anyway, offered me a drawing challenge for the Month of September. And it was the first monthly drawing challenge I completed. In fact, if you look far enough back on my blog, you’ll find some of the pieces I drew for that challege.

The next year, the same friend gave me a new challenge for a new sketchbook, a challenge that eventually led to the conception of one of my stories.

The next year, even though I didn’t have an official challenge, I did find myself drawing every day of the month. So I kinda concider it a tradition to complete a drawing challenge durring the month of Septemper, think of it as my personal version of ‘Inktober’.

This year, I wanna get back to doing ‘official’ drawing challenges, so I’ve already picked out a theme for this year...

POKÉMON!!!

Yes, I LOVE Pokemon and have been on a big kick recently and am really looking foreward to the new games coming out this November. I found a few variations of a Pokemon themed drawing challenge, but I’m gonna be kinda picking and choosing, kinda combining my favoirte promps/promps that’ll lead to the best pictures. I’m also gonna try to ink and color them this time, maybe not with my copic markers since I don’t have the proper paper, but definitely with something like colored pincels or even paint.

Be sure to follow my other blog, possumpokeadventure, if you wanna see all the pictures, AND to also follow along with my first Nuzelocke, but I think that’ll just be blog posts because I have no way to film game footage. The only reason I’ll be posting the challenge there is because I wanna keep this blog mainly focused on my original art (She says after just finishing a challenge where she drew stuff based on other people’s intellectual properties...)

Don’t worry, I still plan on finish posting the pics from my Musical Drawing Challenge and to post finished versions of the ‘best entries’.
