thaaaat being said, thinking about how he could very likely have been a Warden 10+ years now (if not 15+, considering that the person on the Coast was already commanding men by 9:41), I am lowkey-highkey hoping that Davrin's is going to be a romance that starts off in a very laid-back manner, kind of as a situationship of sorts, only for it to then blossom into something deeper. Like I'd love just some very bold and playful flirting, or straight-up casual sex, mainly because he knows he doesn't have long to live and it'd be unfair of him to get legitimately attached to someone (as inevitably it'd end up hurting them), only for him to then fall in love anyway??????

like that, apparently, is kind of my jam????

I definitely love me some soul-crushing devotion from moment one, or cute courting in the midst of the game's horrors, and if it's not like this at all I'm sure I'll still be equally satisfied with however they handle it, but I can't deny that I definitely am a sucker for a Casanova-type accidentally catching genuine feelings against their will.

macleod andrews who plays toshiro fucking knocks it out of the park, i love his performance. truly exceptional, he brings the whole thing together. absolute king! in general, though, i could geek out about the p5 actors, titans the lot of them.

Props my head up hey. I’m still coming up with character concepts. And I’m trying to decide what kind of Vibe my healer girl should have 👀

Quick refresher on her:

Soft spoken and kind, she takes care of the group’s injuries and provides support in battle. Everyone’s a little intimidated by her bc she’s scary when they don’t immediately come to her for medical treatment after battle, or brush off their injuries. Grows close with mute girl. Is the calming presence of the group, and everyone comes to her when they are stressed. (This causes her to have a complex about being the calm one, the cheerful one, the one who always has their shit together. This is unhealthy. Lmao) Is also some kind of royalty. She and edgy boy bond over their garbage experiences with the upper class.

I’m either going to make her a water elemental or a forest elemental (both of which are capable of having healing powers!) but I can’t decide if I want to go with a fluffy winter theme (probably using ice as a numbing agent with her healing) or an autumn theme (just bc most forest elementals are associated with green colors and I think an autumn themed one would be neat). So I’m coming to YOU for opinions!!

(Secret third thing possibly being a time elemental who can “rewind” the state of someone’s body to heal injuries. But I don’t have an outfit theme for this one. Suggestions are welcome)

This time written to one of my recent sketches, featuring a pretend relationship and "unrequited" mutual pining 🥺

It feels methodical. The way they grab at each other both to steady themselves and as a warning not to go further. Maybe this isn’t how actual loving couples go at it... But Sonic can’t help getting lost in the kiss anyway, he can’t stop himself from enjoying that lack of space between their chests, the touch of Shadow’s lips and his teeth and the subtle bite he adds to the action.

Their ears twitch when a door closes in the distance – whoever has caught them finally leaving, and the hedgehogs separate. Only for Shadow to dive right back in, making Sonic’s heart skip a beat even as he doesn’t reciprocate. He pushes the other back despite feeling like he’s tearing a limb from his own body.

“Don’t have to pretend anymore, you know?”

“Right,” Shadow lets go of his wrists, sounding hollow, and all Sonic can feel is regret.

Minor thing that really irks me is when people treat the femc route in p3 portable as like the lesser story or like it’s a fanfic where nothing that happens in it is the “true” canon like. Bitch. The femc and everything that happens in her version of the story is just as canon as the male protagonist and everything that happens in his story. And there’s literally been so many fucking versions of p3 at this point like the base game, fes, portable, the movies, stage plays, reload, as well as spinoffs and manga and they all do things differently. I don’t see anyone acting like the base game is more canon than, say, reload so why do they do this with portable? Why can’t the (infinitely superior) version with the female protagonist just be respected for five fucking minutes goddamn

So this is going straight the fuck away in like ten minutes but i made a chase brody inspired short film for a project i was assigned(im a film student) and i just thought it might be nice to share that with the communuty that inspired it, right?

Sometimes the fact that GRRM has, amid all his efforts to have nuance and a wide spectrum in his female characters and to deconstruct certain tropes, played the daddy's girl tomboy in contrast to the hostility or complete elimination of the female figures in her life trope completely straight over and over again, with basically every female warrior he wrote, from his female lead to two whole secondary POVs to one note extras (with the exception of the Mormont ladies yeah at least, maybe when we get more Alysane content I will be less grumpy about this), leaves me kind of bitterly shocked tbh
