/ so I've been thinking about how to handle Transgressor Yuri in terms of his canon, and like... I really can't do much with it. I'm probably just going to toss what existed as far as my muse goes because like... after the tree was destroyed we:
A: had no confirmation it was Yuri who did it or if he was just there at the time (i.e. could have been trying to stop someone from doing it)
B: had no confirmation on why he did it if he did (and how long it'd be before we even saw him again or if he or Lloyd's group would have run into Kanata's group) and why he would be working with Kasque unless he knew something Milla somehow didn't in this context (i.e. Milla having the wrong idea about the trees and what they're there for/what they do). that or he was doing it because he was in a situation of being forced to do it for some reason (bc basically I can't see him just being on Kasque's side because he agrees with her, and without further context I'm stuck)
I guess it really depends what the manga does as far as the trees go at this point, because the manga has skipped so much content and is literally making chapters 5-7+9 happen simultaneously and it's honestly a mess. they've skipped crossover related stuff too (without putting in replacements), which the trees were relative both to Kasque and crossover content, hence why I don't know what they'll end up doing with them and if I should wait for them to get there and cover that stuff.
they've already added in the whole "explosion we're gonna blame on you guys" thing despite Sonia not even existing in the manga as of yet if she will be, so I really have no idea what's being kept and what's not (because at this point they've already tossed a slew of non crossover content out the window - if I sound bitter it's because I am LOL).
that said if they do get to the trees and keep them and have a replacement for Yuri (which I'm doubting they will at this point), I'll probably be able to figure out what to do with him better. if they ignore that aspect since it's partially tied to Milla (and Lloyd's side story and evidently Lloyd's group's main story), I'm probably just gonna yeet it for my muse because there's literally nothing I can do with the information we had before the game shut down. most unfortunately too, that was the legit last fucking thing that happened before the story was canceled.
#{ bravewolf mun }#/ like seriously is it too much to ask of them to actually give a shit abt this cast and story#the manga is a shell of what the game was and that's not even including the legacy chars#the manga is like... okay on its own but when compared to the game it's just#kinda a disappointment to me. I know they wanted to go the cheapest possible route#to continue the story but... if they'd made it an anime ppl would've bought it#if they made it a crossover too ppl would've LOVED it. I just wish they didn't half ass#this manga so badly bc I keep seeing ppl say it's doing poorly#and like yeah no fucking wonder. it's hardly what the game was and what people loved it for#but ofc if this manga also fails and gets canceled they prob won't pick the title back up#deeming it two failures when rly it wasn't a failure in the game bc that was... a WHOLE other issue for why it ''failed''#anyway yeah I'm salty and I want the game back that had such a deep rich story#with loads of lore and things HAPPENING around the WORLD#not just with our main cast. so many Talesy things and they were like little secluded versions#all happening around the world while Kanata is having his journey#Yuri probably would've been a semi big part based on how they introduced him#unless they wanted to go the ''it's not actually Yuri'' route bc normal Yuri appeared in a single event lol#but him and Milla seemed like they'd be influential in the story and I'm really bummed they both got tossed like that /

Justice League Movie Review - Spoilers Ahed
Even though I saw the movie when it first premiered it took me awhile to put into words what I thought about it.
I’ll admit off the bat (heh!) that I was afraid to be disappointed but I gave it a chance anyway. I went into it telling myself that It’ll be entertaining and fun. And, for the most part, it was.Â
Part of me want this movie to do good because Justice League holds a special place in my heart. I grew up with Bruce Timm’s JLU and the characters are awesome and so they deserved a movie fit for them.
DId they get it? Kinda.Â
I’ll divide things a bit just to make this review a bit more easy to read.Â
The Plot
Ok, plots are not DC’s specialty but they did try to keep it a bit simpler here. We have an alien invasion, and we have Batman trying to unite the league. They resurrect Superman, Superman kicks bad guy’s ass. Everyone’s happy. The end.Â
That’s pretty much it. Pretty straightforward.Â
I appreciated that, unlike BvS, they didn’t try to cram in too many things at once. Though I was disappointed when, 10 minutes into the movie I saw the faceless-nameless-token aliens-for our heroes to kill- on screen. I mean I know they couldn’t just bring Darkseid from the get go. They want to tease him like Marvel teased Thanos but having Steppenwolf, who btw looked like an RPG character, as the main villain was kind of EH.Â
The Characters
The casting was spot on. I loved Ezra Miller as Flash, even though I would have liked to see more of him. here’s hoping there will be an extended cut of the movie.
Wonder Woman was awesome as always, even though she seemed a bit off somehow. Also, some butt shoots that I didn’t like because they seemed like fan service.
Batman’s character was different from BvS. I dare say so different they are two distinct characters. BUT I do believe there’s a reason that’s the case. Well, two reasons anyway. More on that later.Â
I liked Cyborg a lot and the moment he said “BOOYAH” I almost lost it. Great nod there. Again, would’ve liked to see more of him and his interactions with the other members.Â
Aquaman was nice. Jason Momoa did a surprisingly good job despite not having much to do and having a lot of footage cut from the movie. I didn’t like the fact that his decision to join the league was so sudden and not grounded in anything except the fact that Steppenwolf stole the Mother Box from Atlantis. I felt he needed more motivation to join the league than just that.Â
And we reached the elephant in the room: Superman himself. And, as for him, I guess he was ok. I admit I expected his resurrection to go differently. Don’t get me wrong, I, at no point, thought he would stay dead. I thought the league would open his coffin and he’d be gone and they’d have to convince him to join the JLU. But nope! They had to go the creepiest route possible.Â
I swear to God, it reached uncanny valley quickly. In my theatre people were baffled, to put it lightly.Â
Still, there’s one thing I liked about this Superman: the way he beat the crap out of the league with little to no effort. Now that was cool. Granted, it ended on the cheapest note possible but I guess it was unavoidable. Â
The visualsÂ
Ok, if anything Snyder does good visuals. I’ll admit that while his style looks as if comic book pages came to the big screen, it doesn’t do much for me. Most of the time I have the urge to ask someone to turn on the light and give the camera a good ol’ rub.Â
Also, some scenes, especially those when the JLU goes to save the (russian?) family. The red sky, the aliens....it looked so fake even though it kinda looked a bit cool.Â
I wasn’t a fan of this shot of Batman either. I don’t feel comfortable looking up at Batman like that. What with his crotch being as bit as it is. It looks cool and all but they could have found a different pose for him to still look cool in.Â
Conclusion
All in all, even though the movie has problems, because it had two directors and because a lot of footage was cut out, it kept me entertained. I was happy to see my favorite heroes on the big screen and I liked their chemestry and how they worked with one another.Â
Do I think the movie could have been better? Absolutely.Â
The ending was sloppy. As soon as Superman came to the finale battle, the stakes were out the window. It was clear Snyder wanted a darker ending, while Whedon wanted a more light-hearted one.Â
But I do think this: The critics are being too harsh on it. Sure, the humour is more Marvel-like but other than that I’d rank it second after Wonder Woman, as far as DC movies go.Â
Marvel pretty much ruined expectations for how movies are made and perceived by the general audiences. Everyone wants a Marvel movie, even though they know they’re going in for a DC movie.Â
Long story short, go see the movie. It’s not as bad as rotten tomatoes makes it out to be.Â
