I'm honestly really happy that people are liking what I'm putting out there so far! It truly does mean a lot to me! ^^

Now without further ado, let's get into the second part of the meanings behind the names in heavens design team!

First up we have the head designer, Tsuchiya (codename: Saturn). His name means earthen house, soil, earth, ground

This is most likely a reference to him being the first designer, and was the one who helped pull everything together. Build everything up from square one. He is the soil that helps make everything grow, and the one that helps to hold things together.

Next is Mizushima (codename: Mercury). His name simply means water island.

Now admittedly this one had me stumped at first on what it meant, but then I took into consideration how Mercury looks up to Saturn a lot. An island is an extention of the earth, separating themselves and going their own path yet still having the base given to them by the earth itself. With Mercury going his on way but still following and being inspired and looking up to Saturn is probably what the meaning implies.

Then we have Kanamori (codename: Venus). Her name means money/metal, forest, gold

This one is probably self explanatory. Venus, just like the shiny metals and gold of the earth, likes to give everything their own form of beauty and worth, and to have a chance to shine brightly in their own way. Each metal is unique and different, yet beautiful in their ways, just like every design they make.

Up next is Higushi (codename: Mars). Her name means mouth of the drain, water pipe, gutter, downspout, conduit.

This is probably a reference to how Mars is the one helps make everything run. She is the one who gives the go ahead and power for the animals they create to be able to live on earth. Just like people need water to run, she gives the power for the animals to run on earth without things going on.

Then we Kimura (codename: Jupiter) who's name means tree village, tree, wood, town, village

This references how Jupiter is supposed to be the village and the town. He is the one that tests things, shows no fear in doing so, and eats everything that he sees. Not much different to how people in a town or village do when they discover something new.

Then we have Unabara (codename: Neptune) who's name means deep sea.

This one is pretty self explanatory, Neptune is given his nickname for a reason as he works with usually marine based animals. This is very important as marine life takes up a lot of ocean ground and the ocean itself takes up just as much territory as the lands do on earth.

Lastly but definitely not least we have Meido (Codename: Pluto). Her name means dark land, underworld.

Again self explanatory. Pluto can be rather misunderstood due to her creations being a lot more out their and different than others. Her creations often have a bad rap about them when in reality they are just trying to survive like anything else. Pluto loves everything she makes, seeing them as cute despite their misunderstood nature. She gives them the chance when others don't.

Now for the insect department we have:

Mushi-bu, the name of all the look alike men that work in the insect department. Their name means insect department.

This requires no deep exploration I kid you not it just means they run the insect department. However that doesn't mean they have little importance. They choose to do the dirty work and make the creatures of earth that a lot of people don't like but are necessary for survival. Their department plays a very important role in keeping the earth functioning normally.

Now, for the plant department we have:

Yo which the name means positive and bright

Then you have Ko, who's name means cultivate, plow, till.

Together these two twin princes make up the meaning of postive planting methods, which fits well for them seeing as they due run the plant department. (Before you ask yes these are their offical names, yes it took forever to find them, and no I don't know which name belongs to which twin as for some reason it was never stated).

For a bonus, Kenta, Saturn's grandson, his name means healthy child.

He is a healthy child pretty much which is good.

So together all their names make up the properties of earth itself. The ground, the islands, the water, the metals, the villages, the plants, animals, insects, and the misunderstood natures of it all. They all represent the very thing that they are giving life too. Not only that but they also represent the foundation of their departments as a whole. One can't go without the other, each and every one of them relies and is affected by eachother.

This is definitely not the end of this name meaning series as there are still plenty of hinted departments that are left unanswered and names in those departments that must have their own meanings. In fact we could use the information of the name meanings of the animal department to decipher the possible name of the possible Uranus and what their role could've been and what it could be now. Feel free to make your own theories about it as well! What I wonder is, why are the animal department the only ones with codenames? If I had to guess it's because they are humans with their own lives back on earth and helps to keep their job identities and discussions a secret. So many questions left unanswered, but I will go into those more next time.

Assholey isn't exclusive to the Reserve Course, the Main Course has a few lovely examples we can go over. I'm not counting she who must not be named as she doesn't count but what about Ruruka Ando? She's a great example of a Ultimate who's also a very unpleasant person to be around. And what about the Student Council? Yes there's good eggs like Aiko in there but you also have the likes of Asukasai, who is indeed a asshole.

I've never met him personally, but judging from what I'd heard from the other Student Council members that I'd talked to, he sounds like a total asshole to be honest with you, and a particularly nasty one at that.

Ando may look and sound sweet as her talent makes it out to be, but when you peel that mask away, she's a massive narcissist with an ego and superior complex the size of Jupiter! How Kimura even tolerates her for five minutes without losing her sanity is beyond my comprehension.

Still, compared to Asukasagi, she's nowhere near as bad, thankfully. However, she's still a massive annoyance to deal with. How she got accepted into Hope's Peak with such a rotten attitude like that, I'll never know.

Who knows? Things probably could've been worse. After all, imagine if we would've dealt with an asshole far worse than Ruruka or Asukasagi, huh?.

Don't imagine that, please. I don't even want to imagine meeting someone in Hope's Peak that is worse than Asukasagi. We already have multiple assholes in this school already the least we could do is receive another one that's worse than all of them.
