Tezuka Osamu Discovery Collection is a collection book with materials of Tezuka works not previously published in books, including works mainly serialized in school magazines and newly discovered valuable manuscripts.

It will release in Japan on February 9 or 10, 2025 (it is being listed on different websites with both release dates).

NEWS: A new Tezuka themed gashapon set has been revealed. This set, called "Osamu Tezuka character sitting," will be produced by Bandai. This set will release in Japan sometime in September of this year.

Another fun fact no one asked for.

Panjyamon is a reference to Panja from Jungle Emperor/Kimba the White Lion.

Talking about references I was thinking if Hououmon X-Antibody is a reference to Tezuka's Phoenix, but it's probably more of an inspiration from Fenghuang myth than from Tezuka's design.

And there is also Plutomon, I think it's more the general shape that gives me that impression, but it's probably not inspired by it directly either.

I was going to use the Reference Book artworks but they are too small to see anything so too bad, using the card game, Survive and New Century arts.

The 2025 Osamu Tezuka calendar is listed with it's cover art on the website for the Japanese company, Rakuten.

The cover art follows a snake theme with 2025 being the Year of the Snake in the Chinese zodiac.

This calendar is set to release in September 2024.
