Finally finished the designs I made for Transformers Animated Killpunch (left) and Starsong (right).

Like in the IDW and Armada universes, they're Flinch's parents. This time though, they didn't find him, they kind of "stole" him.

Why did they do it? Well, let's just say they didn't feel okay with handing over a warframe sparkling to Magnus and co. Especially after seeing how warframes were treated in the prison they worked at.

So, they sneaked the small bean out, stole a ship and just left the planet. Settling down far away from Cybertron, until they were found and taken in for abandoning their station and working with a Decepticon to smuggle something out of the prison.

Now they're held at the exact same prison they once worked at. But they feel no regret. Not with their son being far away from Cybertron and safe.

Alright, I finished and coloured Flinch's Armada design. I might change some things in the future (if I feel like it), but this is it for now.

As I already said, Armada Flinch doesn't have a Blackbird as an alt-mode. (Although, I'm not sure were to put the minicon symbol. Still gotta work on that.)

Also, this is how his "parents" look like.

Finally sat down and made a first draft of Flinch's mom! Or, at least her TFA design.

Nimbostratus, aka, Nim or Stratus, is a big lady who mostly served as transport before and during the war.

No-one knows how old she is, not even she can remember her age. Often stating that she has stopped counting long before the Decepticons formed.

She's currently in prison, after having been captured, but that won't hold her for long. Especially now that she has found allies in the Minicons Killpunch and Starsong.

Stratus has a power that allowes her to shrink down a few sizes from her normal height, which she uses constantly.

Talking with @tachyon-omlette and watching Transformers Armada got me to adapt Flinch into that universe.

It's still a work in process, but I got this so far.

He isn't a Black Bird in this continuity, because he hasn't been on earth for a long time. Only getting there, after the kids activated their minicons.

Flinch is probably the youngest Cybertronian out there, and with him being raised by two minicons, he isn't part of any faction. Rather, he and his "parents" work on finding minicons and saving them before any of the two factions can get to them. (Sometimes though, Flinch ends up in the middle of those fights.)

Flinch's "parents" are minicons who didn't end up on earth, but rather on another planet where they were found by Flinch and accidentally activated.

Despite Starsong and Killpunch being on different sides during the war, they were quick to work together after finding themselves infront of this very young and big Cybertronian. Raising Flinch together as their "son".

While Starsong is a soft spoken fella, Killpunch is ready to attack anyone at sight.

There was an accident where Flinch kidnapped the kids and their minicons in an attempt to "save" them from the Autobots.

Flinch ended up getting severly damaged/hurt, while trying to buy his family and the minicons he's safed so far as much time to escape as he could.

There was a time where Flinch believed he too was a minicon, just... a very tall one. The realization that he wasn't was a crushing one, because it made him feel like he just lost his place in the world.

Luckily, Starsong was there to soothe Flinch's fears and remind him that it doesn't matter where he came from, he'll always be one of them.

Overall, Armada Flinch is a kind mech who sympathizes with the minicons and despises both factions for their treatment of them. (While also, kinda, being afraid of both factions.)
