Being A Runaway Princess Who Falls In Love With Killian Jones Would Include
You ran away from an arranged marriage, stealing away under the cover of night in a cloak.
Killian first encounters you trying to barter a jeweled ring for passage on a ship, clearly out of place among commoners.
He knows right away you’re not just some girl. The way you hold your chin, the way you speak, it screams royalty. But he doesn’t out you. Not yet.
He agrees to help you, at first for a price, of course. But something in your desperation and bravery reminds him of the person he used to be before the darkness took over.
You trade sarcastic jabs, stubborn glares, and reluctant trust until it turns into something softer.
Killian teaches you how to handle a sword, which is an immensely frustrating task for him.
You call him “Captain Know-It-All” and he grins every time.
One night, you confess your fear that you’ll never be more than a girl running from her destiny. He cups your cheek and says, “Then we’ll write you a new one.”
He becomes fiercely protective of you, threatening anyone who even looks at you wrong.
The first time someone calls you “Princess” in a sneering tone, he’s got his sword out faster than you can blink.
Your first kiss is on the deck during a storm. Rain-soaked and breathless, you’re shouting at each other, and then you’re kissing like your lives depend on it.
He says, “You make me want to be a better man,” and you say, “Then be that man with me.”
Word spreads: the missing princess is sailing with the infamous Captain Hook. Bounty hunters come for you both, forcing you to rely on each other more than ever.
When your kingdom sends soldiers to retrieve you, he offers to take you anywhere in the world, to leave it all behind.

I want to fidget with his hands. Gently tracing each finger, drawing shapes in the palm of his hand, the warmth and weight of his hand in mine soothing me. And we just sit in silence as I do this, each other’s presence being enough to just relax and enjoy the moment of peace.

MASTERLIST, TAGLIST

Killian Jones finding a woman attractive was nothing special. He’s had his fair share of dalliances over the years. Ever since what happened to Milah, Killian was in no hurry to find the so-called “true love” and settle down. His never-ending adventures at sea kept him plenty occupied—and so did his hunt for his Crocodile.
It was no surprise then that the woman named Emma Swan would draw his eye. She was just his type: bold, determined, and a natural leader. His interactions with her in the Enchanted Forest left him intrigued, and his curiosity of her only grew when they returned to Storybrooke and defeated Cora together. He expected his infatuation with Emma to grow the more time he spent with her, but what he was not expecting, was you to catch his eye instead.
The son of Prince Charming and Snow White, brought to a world without magic together with Emma as babies, put into a foster home. Despite all your bad luck as children, your inability in finding a place to call home, at least you managed to stay together. And as Henry brought her back to Storybrooke to break the curse, you followed with. You weren’t a Saviour like her, not by a long shot. But you did have your own skills and abilities, something that came with being a devilishly cunning detective. However much she hated to admit it, Emma would oftentimes turn to you for help in hunting down a bounty. A difficult bounty for her meant an afternoon of idle searching for you.
You never turned down an opportunity to tease her about it and she never hesitated to roll her eyes at you. Nonetheless, you felt incredible protective of her. You may just have been a few minutes older than her, but that didn’t stop you from putting on the big brother act—something she didn’t always appreciate.
Which is why, when you saw a certain pirate unashamedly flirting with her, those brotherly instincts kicked in immediately. You knew Hook was helping your family in getting Henry back from Neverland, providing passage on his ship, the Jolly Roger, and offering his being a guide on the island. But those facts did not give him the right to flirt with your sister.
You had already been at odds with the man when, at your arrival to the island, the ship was attacked by a school of mermaids. Hook had stumbled in your direction and taken hold of the most stable thing closest to him—which happened to be you. His hand had gripped your waist, his hook coming to your chest as he fell against you. The closeness of his breath stirred something within you, something not entirely uncomfortable. Of course, it was not his fault that the ship veered to the side and that you had been closest to him when he stumbled, but that didn’t stop you from pushing him away from you the moment the ship steadied.
“My apologies,” he said, quite out of breath. His blue eyes were remarkably clear in the moonlight. “I usually offer a drink before getting so close to someone.”
Your glare was your only answer.
“I don’t believe we have been properly introduced.” He extended his hand for you to shake. You looked at it uncertainly.
“I’m Emma’s brother,” you said simply.
His eyebrow raised. “So you must be the infamous town sheriff y/n Swan. I s’pose good looks do run in the family.”
You began to scoff, but then your brain was able to fully comprehend his words. “I never told you my name.”
Hook glanced away, his confident smirk faltering. He cleared his throat. “I may have, er, asked someone for it.”
You shifted your head to meet his eye. “Someone?”
He let out a sigh. “I wanted to know who the handsome man that was traveling with us is, so yeah, I asked around. Really, you should be flattered.”
You scoffed at the grin that flashed across his face and turned on your heel. Like you’d said—shameless flirt.
Later, while searching Neal’s hideout, you watched him flash that same grin when talking to Emma. He stepped much closer, leaning towards her. You couldn’t stomach watching it. And you told yourself it was because she deserved better than a good-for-nothing scoundrel like him. No other reason.
So you watched from afar, leaned against the cave walls, as Hook winked at your sister. Emma glared at him, unimpressed. At least you wouldn’t have to worry about her falling for his charms. She was much too clever for that. You saw her walk away from him, away from the hand that he had reached forward to her and you smiled with grim satisfaction. But before you could step forwards, out of the shadows, David had approached Hook.
“Let me give you a bit of advice, Hook,” he said. “She’s never gonna like you.”
Hooks eyebrows shot into the air. “Is that so?”
“How could she?” David’s voice was laced with venom. “You’re nothing but a pirate.”
He seemed to want to reply, but nothing came out, and David walked away. Hook’s gaze followed him, his hand running down his face.
“He’s right, y’know,” you said, stepping forward.
A low growl slipped from his throat, Hook turning to face you. He looked almost crestfallen. “Can I not get enough of your bloody family?”
It was your turn to raise an eyebrow. “And here I was thinking you’d be glad to see me.”
Hook let out a dry chuckle. “Oh, I am very glad, love.”
“There’s that charm of yours,” you remarked humourlessly.
He smiled cheekily. “Doesn’t seem to be working on your sister, though.”
“Yeah,” you hummed. Step after step brought you closer to the pirate. You watched him closely, noting the way his eyes jumped over your figure. “Speaking of, we need to have a chat.”
He nodded absentmindedly, raising his finger to rub against his lips. The movement drew your eye to them. You knew he had noticed your gaze before you managed to tear it away when his lips curled into a smirk. You rolled your eyes. Goddamned pirate.
“If you’re going to stare at me like that, I’m going to get some mixed signals, love.” His voice was as smug and sweet as honey, only managing in irritating you more.
You were not known to be calm and level-headed. Anyone who was close to you knew to keep away when your anger threatened to burst, like an erupting volcano. Emma had once stolen one of your favourite pencils as a child and you had gotten back at her by spilling ink all over her favourite stuffed animal. But Hook did not know you well enough. He smiled sweetly.
Two steps forward and you were stood right in front of him, pressing against his chest. Rum and leather and sea salt filled your nose. The smell of him was overpowering and intoxicating all at once. You pressed one arm against his throat, pushing him back against the cave wall, the other bracing yourself against it. He grunted at the impact, groaning in displeasure, before meeting your gaze steadily.
“And to what do I owe this pleasure?”
The words growled out of your throat, through your gritted teeth. “Stay away from Emma, got it?”
“You may have gotten the good looks of your family. Not the manners, though,” he said lazily.
You cocked your head. “No, that is more my parents’ style.”
“You do have more of a bite than them,” he said. Then he tilted his head, as if in thought. “Huh, well, aren’t you a dark Swan, love? Or do you prefer Black Swan?”
Your brows knit together but you chose to ignore his words. Instead, you said, “I do agree with David that Emma will never fall for you, so you might as well give up now.”
Hook’s eyebrow raised. “If you’re so sure she won’t fall for me, why even bother threatening me? Surely, my flirting must be harmless.”
Your brows knitted together in suspicion. His eyes were annoyingly blue, piercing straight into yours. “Just leave her alone, Hook.”
“Does it bother you?”
“Does what bother me?” you asked, rolling your eyes.
“My flirting with her.” He leant forward a bit, throat straining against your arm. “Swan, are you jealous?”
You opened your mouth to protest. You? Jealous? Ridiculous. Then you noticed that his lips had curled into a cheeky smirk. “No,” you bit out.
Hook blinked, raising an eyebrow. “You sure?”
“Yes.”
“Heard you were quite the detective out in the Land of No Magic.”
Your head cocked to the side. “Yeah, so?”
He simply hummed, head falling back against the stone walls. His eyes traveled across your figure before jumping up to meet your gaze through his lidded eyes, something unintelligible in those swirls of blue. You ignored the warmth that pooled in your stomach at the sight of him like that.
“I will leave her alone,” he said calmly. “You have my word.”
You tried to detect the mischievous thoughts that were surely lying behind his eyes, but came up empty. You had no idea if he was telling the truth or not, but you let him go and stepped back in one swift moment. He cleared his throat, rubbing one hand across his collarbone.
“Fine,” you said, glancing away from his steely gaze. You weren’t sure what to do with yourself then, and you cleared your throat uncomfortably.
“Shall we?” Hook asked, gesturing to where the others had gone.
“Yeah,” you said simply, walking past him briskly.
You didn’t know what had suddenly overcome you or why you were now so uncomfortable in Hook’s presence. For the rest of that day, every time you glanced in his direction to make sure he was heeding your words of staying away from Emma—to which he did—you felt as if your nerves were standing on end. And on occasion, when he happened to be glancing your way as well and your eyes met, you felt shivers travel down your body, forcing you to break his eye contact. You thought you could see a smirk playing across his lips in those moments, but you chose to ignore him.
That same evening, you had found out David and Hook been ambushed by the Lost Boys. Apparently, Captain Hook had risked his life saving David from a poisonous arrow with Nightshade on it. You almost wanted to laugh at the idea of Hook doing something so heroic, but at the sight of David’s serious face you merely took a swig of the offered flask, like the others. You caught his eye right before he turned and stepped away from the others. You followed him behind a tree.
“I heard what you did for David,” you said. He stopped and turned to face you. “Thank you, Killian.”
His smile didn’t seem to reach his eyes. “I wouldn’t leave your father to perish on this island.”
You nodded, glancing away for a moment before meeting his eye. “I must ask, did you do it to get in my sister’s good graces?”
“I thought you weren’t jealous.” His eyebrow raised.
“Answer the question,” you bit out.
His smile dropped as he met your gaze. “No, I didn’t do it for her. I did it for you. And because it was the right thing to do.”
You couldn’t help the scoff that escaped you. “So now you’re all righteous, huh?”
Hook cocked his head. “I’ve always been chivalrous,” he said. “And, well, it doesn’t take a genius to know that getting your father killed would not help my courting you.”
You chose to ignore those last few words, your smile holding no warmth. “You’re right. You are no genius,” you said.
“This doesn’t sound like a thank you,” Hook remarked, raising his eyebrows.
You let out a sigh, looking down at the ground beneath your feet. “I’m sorry.”
He scratched the nape of his neck. “Perhaps you could show me some gratitude to make it up to me.”
His gaze was dark underneath his eyelashes, his lips curling into a smirk. You thought you knew what he was implying. You wouldn’t let him get off that easily, though.
“Uh, yeah,” you said, the corners of your mouth lifting. “That was what the ’thank you’ was for.”
“Mmm,” Hook hummed. He took a step closer, so close now you could count his eyelashes. “Is that all your father’s life is worth to you?”
You rolled your eyes. “Please, you couldn’t handle it.”
“Perhaps,” he whispered, face leaning much closer to you. You could feel his breath against your skin. “It’s you who couldn’t handle it.”
Your eyes jumped between his, then to his lips. Those damned lips, curled into that damned smile. Oh Gods, why did you have to be attractive to a pirate. Without leaving any time for you to think your actions through, you took ahold of his jacket and pulled his face towards yours.
Hook let out a surprised gasp, which you swallowed into the kiss. He dragged himself closer, hand clinging to your waist. You felt his chest press hard against you as his lips moved against yours. It was harsh, quick, and angry—just like your feelings for him.
The warmth in your stomach deepened as you pressed yourself impossibly closer to him. One hand made its way into his dark hair, pulling lightly against it. He let out a deep moan at the movement, his eyes shooting open and lips pulling away for a moment.
You smiled at the sight of him, red-lipped, cheeks flushed and eyes full of desire. “Too harsh for you, captain?”
He groaned at your words, capturing your lips once more. His hook was pressing your waist against his as his hand grabbed your neck, bringing you into him. He was truly and well intoxicating.
Hook pulled away again, breath coming out in short bursts. “So I’m not good enough for your sister, but I’m good enough for you.”
You cocked your head and shrugged. “I’m not as good as she is.”
He smiled into the kiss when you pulled him closer again. His teeth captured your bottom lip lightly, but the feeling made a smile of your own erupt across your face.
“I don’t know,” Hook said. “I think you’re pretty good.”
“Killian.”
“My name has never sounded sweeter.”
“Shut up.” You rolled your eyes, smile still playing across your lips.
“With pleasure,” he murmured while pulling you close again.

I know this is so random but do you ever watch a new movie, series, book or game and just get so in love with a character so you try and find x reader but they barely have any fics. so you’re sat there for like 20 minutes staring at the wall making the most dirtiest scenario in your head. and when you try and make it into a one shot or something it all goes to shit.
this is literally me.

Okay. Here for my anon.
PANCAKES
Killian Jones x reader.
Tw: smut, like idk guys it’s literally the pancake scene continued. Oral (f receiving). Pet name : Killy (like idky that so cute to me I had to)
Not proofread. It was written in like 2 hours.
———————————————————
“Mmm,” Killian says softly as he walks up behind you, “something smells delicious”. He’s finishing getting dressed, buttoning up his dashing black vest that fits him all too well over his dark navy dress shirt. He had just gotten out of the shower so he smelled of honeysuckle and lemon, and his hair was still a bit damp.
You were at the stove making breakfast, pancakes to be exact, for your new fiancé. “It’s just from a box,” you giggle as you turn your neck to allow him for access to you. Killian places love bites along you neck while his hand and hook grace your hips. Killian starts to nibble on your earlobe as he whispers “I’m not talking about the pancakes.”
His mouth is exactly why you fell in love with him, how he spoke to you and how he kissed you. You turn from the pancakes and attached your lips to his in a sloppy, deep kiss. He wasted no time in parting your lips with his tongue and dominating your mouth with swirls of pleasure and passion. Your hands ran up along his neck and into his hair as his came down to where you needed them most of all.
“To hell with the pancakes,” you panted as your lips parted from his for a brief moment. Killian pulled your waist closer, needing you back closer to him. You gave into the filthy pirate you call your fiance and pressed yourself against him, pushing him back into the table. As he fell back, a devilish grin arose on his face. You locked lips once again and started unbuttoning Killian’s vest. Killian wasted no time in using his hook to tear your night shirt right off you, “you can’t keep doing that, soon I’ll have nothing to wear.” Killian loved using his hook when he was with you, and you’d be lying if you said it didn’t do something to you inside. “Well, love, I’d be fine with that”. You both discarded the rest of your clothes but your undergarments in no time.
Killian’s hand roamed your breasts, taking time on each, as he started to lay you back onto the table. “No, Killian” you stopped him before your back met the table. He stopped everything he was doing and stared into your eyes for an answer. All you could do was smile, “I was still making you breakfast.” you said as you kissed his chest while standing, your hands roaming his body. “If you want to stop,” Killian was a gentleman, he wasn’t going to pry.
“No, Captain” you said deeply as you spun him around and threw him onto the table, “I just thought you’d still be hungry.” You climbed up on the table as you laid him down and straddled him.
“Bloody Hell”, Killian looked up at you from this position, at you offering yourself up to ride his face. “What have I done to deserve such a lady?” Killian placed his hand on your thigh and stroked his thumb slowly. “You believed in me, Killy. And you loved me.” You were now leaning down to kiss him once more. “Now, I want to see that mouth filthy, and hear those pretty sounds. Can you do that for me?” Your eyes darkened above Killian, he’s never seen this in you but he liked it.
Killian ripped your panties straight off with his hook as you lowered yourself on top of him. His mouth was already watering and eyes glistening. “You’re beautiful” Killian spoke as he laid a soft kiss on your inner thigh.
Killian took his time teasing you, kissing your thighs and toward your folds as your desire to have him rose. “I don’t even have to touch you, love, and your squirming,” he mumbled from underneath you. He slowly licked a strip along your folds and took in all of your juices leaking out. “Killian, Please”, you yelped at the pleasure as you pressed down onto his tongue trying to get some friction. You ran your hands through his soft brown hair, trying to hold still. His metallic hook came up press against your aching bud. The moan that escaped you was none like you’ve ever made before. Killian started making circular movements with his hook as he inserted his tongue into your firey folds. “Captain!” You cried out, and his eyes darted open to lock with yours. He watched your face as he lapped at your core, those pretty eyes rolling to the back of your head. He loved the things he could do to you. He replaced his tongue with two fingers, as you rocked above him. His rings felt cold within you as he hooked his fingers in just the right spot. Pumping in and out of you, and now using his tongue on your precious bud, you could feel you were reaching your limit.
“Killian-,” you moaned, unable to speak. He knew you were close, he went back to using his tongue in between your folds. Killian used his hooked arm to wrap around your waist and pull you down onto him. He wanted to taste every last drop of you.
The moans coming from Killian sent vibrations through your body and that was you undoing.
Your legs shook, your toes curled, your eyes fluttered, and Killian held you in place.
When you were finished catching you breath, you sat back onto Killian’s lap. You were taking in all that he was.”Killian,” you said sweetly as you reach up to kiss him, taking in your own sweet taste, “I love you.”
“I love you too,” he states as he sits up to embrace you. You look down to notice the hard erection in Killian’s boxers.
“Why don’t we go get a shower and take care of this” you suggest, grazing your hand over the very large bulge.
“Aye,” he kisses your forehead, “looks like I’m not the only filthy pirate.” Killian winks and you two run off to the shower in each others arms.

If she’s feeling playful, the reader is definitely swiping Killian’s rum flask from his coat and taking a swig, right in front of him
Oh my god, the cheek! She maintains eye contact with him while she does it, maybe even winking at him. He’s shocked at first but then just smirks as she drinks and is daring him with her eyes to do something about it. She’s quick enough so he won’t catch her wrist before she swipes it. Or he just…lets her take it. Because she’s his lady and if she wants rum, who was he to deny her? Besides, it was cute to watch her think she was getting away with something. Sometimes she gives it back. Other times, he has to swipe it back from her again.
Extra points for a scripted or discussed chase. She swipes it and bolts, only for him to run after her. But she hides. He has to find her. Not that she hid that hard. He’d do anything to get his rum flask back. And sometimes they play a keep away game to see who can keep it the longest the whole day.

Warning:aside from the pregnancy thing it's gender neutral, sex mentioned and extremely briefly described, Echo cave, cuz I like that episode, highly unlikely pregnancy but lets pretend it's just ovulation and Killian j has really great swimmers, suspend you disbelief for me 🙏, you're best friends w Emma, I don't think that's a warning but I felt it should be said, yeah and cursing that's it
Storybrooke was a lovely place to live. The townspeople were devoted to the community. Maybe it was because they were all fairytale creatures who couldn’t find full comfort in the modern world.
You came to town with Emma. A strange proposition from your friend and soon enough your bags were packed and you were sharing a new apartment with your closest friend who was in the middle of a custody battle, Adorbs.
Through all the drama and struggles and threats to your safety, you were struggling to find peace in your daily life. As you met more and more of the characters you read about over a hundred times, you forgot how desensitized you were from crazy.
That was only furthered when you met a man with a hook and a ship. When his name fell from his lips you froze in place. Your brain worked double time to come to terms with that you unfortunately found the real-life Captain Hook. You almost laughed in his face, but you swallowed your thoughts of how absurd your life was and shook his hand.
Even worse it was evident the attraction was mutual. He made far too many comments at you, though you never disliked it. You feigned annoyance, he even offered to stop. You stayed silent when he asked if you wanted him to stop. Hook chuckled and nodded, muttering about how it was exactly what he expected. You can only wander around town and run into him so many times before your resolve breaks.
The final straw was so insanely boring and domestic you even disliked that it was your final straw. You and Emma were on your weekly grocery shopping trip. Emma couldn’t give up the reins of the cart, instead slapping your hands away. You took up the job of searching the list and dropping your items into the cart. Emma ranted to you about unsure sheriff problems, going into insane detail. She finished the story as you finished the first half of the list. She sighed and relaxed her face, erasing the almost perpetual wrinkle between her eyebrows. You gave her a comforting smile and patted her shoulder. You started explaining to her your struggles. You headed three feet away from the cart, getting Henry’s favorite cereal from the shelf.
“Of course, I told Grumpy that. Of course, I was met with grumpiness. I just told him I would like him to stop leaving his coal dust all offer the diner tables. I told him we have a bathroom with a working sink and he told me I should shut up and work in the mines myself. I told him I’m not diminishing your work, I know you work very hard. Your work is the backbone of our town, however, you could wash your hands before-“ As you joined Emma at the cart, dropping the box in the cart, Hook decided your shopping was an open invitation. He stood at the foot of the cart, smiling at the both of you. Emma sighed and dropped her shoulders, leaning closer down to the cart.
“Can we help you, Hook?” Emma asked. Hook ignored her, moving his eyes to you. He rolled his shoulders, straightening his back. He tucked his hook into his belt.
“Are you busy this weekend?” Hook asked, still ignoring Emma’s protests of his nearby existence. You held your breath, trying to find the proper reaction in your mind. Your hand traveled under the cart and held onto Emma’s hand on the handle.
“I just think we could enjoy a meal together.” Hook added, looking away from you as you continued to stare mouth agape at him. Emma’s hold on your hand tightened, trying to gain your attention. It did nothing.
Your mind reeled trying to calculate what exactly was happening. Captain Hook from the fairy tale Peter Pan was asking you out on a date. Aside from the obvious glaring strangeness staring at you, it was startling anyway. You just assumed he was more of a flirt-and-do-nothing-about-it type and not like a flirt-and-actually-do-something-about-it type. Emma’s elbow quickly jutted out and right into your ribs. You groaned and released her hand. You pressed your palm into the spot where you suspected a bruise to be growing in a few hours.
“Right, well. If you’re a little busy right now, I can go. Obviously, you’re going through a little something now.” Hook muttered, taking a step back away from your basket. Your hand shot out towards him.
“No, I'm free. All weekend actually.” You said, a little too eagerly for your liking. You released your rib, hiding your hands behind your back. Hook froze and stared at you for a moment which made your stomach twist. He nodded like he was finally accepting it. He left soon after giving you the details of when you were going to meet at Granny’s. You turned to Emma, finding her reading the nutrition facts of a jar of alfredo sauce
“Did you know that alfredo sauce has 4% iron?” Emma muttered. You stared at her, finding your mind empty with responses.
“Wow.” You whispered, letting her have her moment. Emma nodded and st the sauce back into the cart, pushing it forward again. ”You don’t have a reaction from what just happened?” You asked, glancing down at the list again. Emma snorted.
“Oh please. He asked me for advice on how to ask you out. Not to mention the tension between you two is so dense, I can barely breathe.” Emma pulled down a bag of pita chips. You hummed, taking the bag out of her hands and throwing it into the cart.
The date was the start of something fresh and freeing. Killian was charming and your laughs were so loud and constant Granny kept glancing over at your table. You didn’t notice, smiling at Killian so bright he forgot where he was. The food at Granny’s was always good but it was outshined by the warmth spreading between the two of you. His flirting was nothing like having his full attention. An entire evening dedicated to furthering the relationship between you two.
You both awkwardly stood outside the door to Granny’s after, staring at each other. You thought through the night, choosing your next actions slowly. You smiled at Killian and shoved your hands in your pockets.
“You don’t have roommates we don’t know about on your ship, do you?” You asked. Killian paused and stared at you with wide eyes. He shook his head.
“No, why?” Killian asked, raising a brow at you. You pressed your lips together to hide the excitement growing. You held your arm out at him. Killian moved forward and hooked your elbows together.
“Show me your ship, Killian.” You said, releasing your smile and showing him its full wattage. Killian let a short laugh, leading you towards the docks.
Killian had an air about him that lured you in from the moment you met him. This was something entirely different. You moved together like you knew each other's next three moves. It was slow and yet not patronizing. He took his sweet time cherishing every inch of your body, pausing to stop and watch your reactions. You laughed through your date and giggled through your night. Killian seemed to quite enjoy kisses that turned into laughs against each other, doing everything in his power to give you your pleasure and humor. By the end of it, you two were so tuckered out you flopped next to each other and didn’t move or recognize each other’s existence until after you caught your breath.
Killian turned his head to face you, still huffing. His hair was plastered to his forehead. He chuckled and gently patted your cheek.
“Yeah?” He asked, his words still breathy. You nodded, laughing at his audacity to ask.
“Yeah.” Killian nodded at your affirmation, sighing and flinging his arm out off the bedside. You sat up and took in your surroundings. You reapplied your mind to the real world, away from the warm and soft words of Killian’s attention. You scooted to the edge of the bed, pulling your underwear from the floor. Killian sat up, his hand brushing against your back.
“Where are you off to? We haven’t even had the chance to discuss a round three?” Killian muttered, pressing a light kiss to your bare shoulder. You laughed at him, shaking your head in amusement.
“Oh! You’re funny.” You replied, standing up to pull on your clothes. Killian whined, melting into the sheets where your body was. His hand reached out for you, dragging down your thigh to your knee.
“Where could you possibly need to be that’s more important than my post-coital care, aye?” Killian asked still trying to grip onto you as you pulled up your pants. You shook your head, following the trail of his discarded black clothes. Killian groaned again as you left his circle of reach.
“I just need to get home. I have to shower, dress for bed, debrief, drink some tea, brush my teeth, work on some things I didn't finish yesterday, and sleep. Unfortunately, I do believe to share a bed with you is to share a bed with temptation.” You found both your socks thank goodness. You almost lost the right one, finding it under his bed. Killian sat up and smiled proudly.
“Well, we've already lusted. What's the harm in a little more?” Killian asked, grinning up at you. You leaned forward towards him, cupping his cheeks. You gently pecked his lips, lingering for a brief moment to give him a proper goodbye. You pulled back to find Killian’s eyes still shut and his chin pointed up in expectation for more.
“Because I need my sleep. Though your offer is tempting. Goodnight, Killian.” You said, picking up your shoes and heading for his door. Killian hummed and returned your good night.
The night between you two was held close to your heart as you continued to speak to Killian. You hadn't gone alone on another date but every accidental run-in was cheery.
A few weeks passed and you felt off. You had plenty of signs and you felt like you had left your marbles. You confided in Emma what you thought was happening and she was dragging you to the closest bathroom with a pregnancy test in hand. She kept the little pink plus sign under wraps as you pulled from Killian.
You weren't sure what to do at all. You wanted to think and decide. You weren't sure if you wanted to even tell Killian. You weren't even sure if you were okay with Emma knowing. When she tucked you into her side and gently hummed you to sleep you were proud of your decision to tell her.
You didn't get the chance to decide if you were going to tell Killian before you and Emma were rushing after Henry into Neverland. You followed her around as you and the rest of the group were dragged around after the red X on the map.
Still, you kept your distance from Killian. He tried to start a conversation with you, shooting a bad flirt at you that you would've groaned at before. You stayed silent, ignoring him entirely. Killian scoffed and left your side. You kept it out of your mind as you focused on Henry.
Your stomach dropped when Killian explained the requirements of the Echo Cave. You froze in front of the entrance, your hand shooting out for Emma's. Killian noticed and hesitated before entering the cave. Emma stopped and joined you at your side. She held onto your hand, reassuring you as she pulled you into the cave.
First up was Killian. He stood at the ledge and turned around to face you. Mary-Margret sidestepped to stay out of the way. Your grip on Emma's hand tightened and she held you steady. Killian let out a sigh and raised his eyes to you.
“I didn’t think I was ever going to be able to love after I lost Milah, and then I met you. I know we only went on one date but we both know it was a long time coming. I love you, I do.” Killian said. The cave shook as the stone bridge appeared, jutting out into the gap. You held onto Emma's arm as you both fell into each other.
The floor stabilized and you pulled back, huffing in frustration. Emma straightened up keeping her hand on yours. Killian tried to catch your eyes, staring into the side of your face. You couldn't face him, your mind was still rushing through his words.
You weren't sure if he was being honest. Though the Cave thought he was so you suppose…
You didn't want to spill your secret, you could see the outrageous reaction. David would probably chide you over your dangerous actions like you're his kid or something. You can already hear his words, fighting lost boys is no behavior for someone pregnant.
You turned your face away from Killian, leaning against Emma's shoulder. You stayed silent during Mary-Margaret and David's confessions. It wasn't your business truly. You swallowed down a gasp but kept your nose out of it. You thought maybe David would go easy on you for your dangerous activities today. If he didn't you could easily point out that he was walking around diseased during all your time in Neverland.
You stared at the gap between the bridge and the ledge. There was space between the two large enough for one more secret. Emma needed this. You were doing this for her, and Henry. You hadn't released Emma's hand yet and you doubted you would be anytime soon. Emma nodded and gently rubbed your arm in reassurance. You turned around to face the group, trying to catch Killian's eyes through the unhappy couple.
“Killian.” You whispered, already hearing the pain in your own voice. You didn't want to tell him like that. Not here in this cave. Not here on this island. Not here in front of this crowd. You wanted to go home.
The couple separated, spreading apart so you could see Killian. His mouth was parted and he froze in his place. You couldn't face or speak to him this entire trip and now that it was time to spill your secret you asked for him specifically. His mind reeled as he pieced together that you might finally tell him what he did wrong that caused your reaction.
“I didn't want to tell you like this. I'm not even sure if I wanted to tell you, period. I think I wanted you to pack your things, get on your ship, and sail off into the sunset scot-free. I didn't want to face the chance of rejection when it came to your love. I can't stomach that. I just wanted to hide the truth so you could think I was just some strange individual who had no empathy for you. You could grow distaste for me and live freely on the sea, not chained down with me.” The cave stayed silent as you such in a breath to stabilize yourself. Mary Margaret had clutched onto her sleeve, staring at you intensely. David was watching Mary-Margaret, trying to figure out what she caught onto. Killian was starstruck.
He hated to say it but you looked so gorgeous in this damn cave. He was confused and felt like he might lose his balance. Killian hated this cave. He hated this situation. He hated that you had to spill whatever secret you had in a place like this. He wanted you to tell him organically. He wanted you to explain it all to him on your own terms. Now your hand was forced.
Emma dropped your hand and held onto your shoulder. She squeezed it and you let out an unsteady breath. You weren't going to cry on this god-forsaken island. You held Killian's eyes, you weren't going to break eye contact when you told him this.
“I'm pregnant.” The air was sucked out of the cave as Mary-Margaret let out a quiet gasp. She clamped her hand over her mouth, her eyes shooting to Killian's quickly. Killian froze, his body turning into a statue. David’s mouth opened, staring at you. Just as you opened your mouth to apologize for never telling Killian until now, the cave shook. You were tousled and fell into Emma. Mary-Margaret held onto the cave wall. David shot for her, trying to find comfort in his wife. Mary-Margret held onto him, her fingers digging into his arm.
The floor stood solid. You slowly pulled from Emma's arms, looking at the bridge. It was complete, thank the stars. Emma released your shoulders from her hold and cupped your cheeks instead.
“You'll be okay?” She whispered, her eyes slipping towards Killian for a brief second. You nodded quickly, shooing her down the bridge. She left you standing alone, heading for Neal’s cage. You awkwardly floated next to Killian, waiting for him to regain his bearings. He straightened up and turned to you quickly. Killian held onto your hand, letting your other hand hold on his wrist. Your fingers trailed along the edge of metal and skin, toying with his hook from nervousness. He stared into your eyes.
“You're pregnant.” Killian’s voice was breathy, still laced with shock. You nodded, not positive your voice could stay steady.
“Why didn't you tell me? Why would you want me to leave you alone like this?” Killian asked. You hated the hurt in his voice, it made you feel nauseous. Your nausea reminded you of the morning sickness in store for you in a few months. You imagined comforting yourself after hunching over the toilet. Emma would help, of course she would but it's not the same as Killian. You thought of waking up in the middle of the night from kicking and having no one’s hand to press against the little foot. You shrugged.
“I didn't want to hold you back from pirating or whatever it is that you get up to. A baby is a lifetime subscription, I didn't think you would want it like this. It's unexpected. Completely. We haven't even gone on a second date and now we've made an entirely new person.” you glanced away to see Mary-Margaret pretending not to listen by staring at the cave wall. Emma had reached the cage, but Neal was still inside, unfortunately.
“I want it. I want all of it. Forget pirating I have a baby. I wish you told me before but I understand why you didn't. We’ve done plenty more together. We don't need dates, we save each other from Lost Boys and other fairytale shit.” Killian said, dropping your hand to cup the side of your face. You leaned into his palm, smiling at him gently. Killian leaned forward and nudged your nose with his. He waited patiently, giving you plenty of time to refuse his advancement. You lurched forward and pressed your lips against his. Killian released your cheek and slipped his hand behind you to press into your back. You held him closer by the back of his head. The kiss threw you right back into your first date together, wrapping you both up in a swirling warmth. You hummed into his lips, tilting your head to the side to deepen the kiss.
“Alright, break it up. Break it up.” You pulled away at Emma’s voice. You stepped back from Killian, taking in the group’s eyes. Killian’s hand hesitated on your back, wanting to keep you close. Emma raised an eyebrow at you. Her smile told you she didn’t mind much at all. You smiled and waved at Neil. He gave you a short wave back. You looked back at Killian, glad you had both fixed your relationship struggles. You knew this pregnancy would be so much easier with Killian by your side.

Jealously Headcanons
Hey lovelies back with another jealously Headcanon. My requests ar open and you can find my guidlines pinned on the top of the page! Credit to cafekitsune for the banner and the divider

❀Killian will admit he's a possessive person. If you're his then you're his. Plan and simple. He wants people to know you're together so they're aware you're off limits.
❀He knows you're beautiful, an alluring little siren. He's heard your song himself. With that being said, it doesn't give anyone the right to attempt to attempt to steal you away from him.
❀Kilian is not afraid to confront anyone. He doesn't want anyone flirting with you whether it's verbal or touching. He cannot stand when someone brushes their hand over your back or wraps an arm around your waist. You are not theirs to touch like that.
❀Killian has two forms of confrontation. The first he approaches them with his usual confident self. Many find his presence intimidating enough and some scapper off. However, some people are brazen enough to stick around. Naturally, Killian uses his charm and wit to passively get the individual away from you.
❀Killian's sarcastic and nonchalant, underneath it's bothering him. Most of the time, it's enough to get them to leave. Sometimes the individual when they realise you're with Killian.
❀The second approach is much more direct. It usually occurs when Killian notices the individual is not backing off When they've laid their hands on you. Killian is more direct. He's threatening as he warns the individual off.
❀Killian's not afraid to get in a physical fight with someone who doesn't know how to respect you. They will learn to respect you one way or another.
❀He likes to remind people you two are very much together every once and a while. Killian finds enjoyment in it.

“what should we do with them Capitan?” a crew member grunted as the 'trespasser' wiggled and struggled in the grasp of the pirate's grasp. Y/n fought, kicking and clawing at the dirty man, and no matter how much it hurt the man he didn't let go.
“take our prisoner to my chambers, then I'll decide what I should do with them” Killian commanded.
The pirate nodded and dragged y/n down to the lower part of the jolly Roger, he tossed y/n into Killian's private part of the ship and grabed some rope. Before they could get to far the pirate forced y/n's arms behind their back and tied their wrist together. Y/n snatched their arms out of his grasp and tired to make a run for it. The pirate just snarled and pushed them back it on the room, locking it so they couldn't escape. Moments later the sounds of boots aproching the room filled their ears. Y/n perked up and tired to think of an escape plane quickly, before the plan could be formed the door flew open revealing a tall handsom pirate with blue eyes and black hair. Y/n looked down at this left hand, It was a hook. They now knew who's ship they were on.
He had a wicked grin as he walked towards y/n. His muscular form, encased in leather armor. He had a look of power in his eyes. “I usually don’t allow trespassers to live, but you’re quite beautiful”
Y/n's had nothing but fire in their eyes, staring at the pirate. They showed no fear. “Whatever you're gonna do, might as well do it… On Second thought why don't you just kill me and get it over with”
Killian leans in, whispering menacingly against their neck sending shivers down their spine. “I can think of a few ways you can convince me to let you live”
Y/n stepped back, standing their ground. The pirate's gaze was intimidating, but they didn't let it show how much it affected them. Y/n stepped back till their body hit a table with a large map on it. Y/n's hands had been tied behind their back from when the crew abducted them, y/n had barely kept their balance when she was bound then thrown in the small room.
Killian chuckled darkly when he saw the daring look in y/n's eyes. Y/n stood their ground watching his every move. Killian moved closer, leaving very little room between them. He had a devilish grin as he stared down at his prisoner. He reached out and ran the side of his hook down y/n’s cheek, tracing the line of their jaw. The metal was cold and intimidating “you've got fire…”
Y/n's heart pounded when the hook that replaced his hand ran cold down their cheek. Y/n had heard too many stories about that hook. They leaned back further against the table, keeping their eyes stony, staring into his eyes. “if your looking for gold I don't have it, I have nothing to offer you”
Killian let out a dark chuckle at y/n's comment, he stepped closer still so that his body was pressed against theirs. His free hand slid around their waist, his rings felt cold against their skin. He pulled y/n's body flush against him. I think we can come to an arrangement…”
“And what is that?” y/n asked, not amused.
Y/n shivered as his hook trailed up their thigh, the metal was cold against the hot skin of their inner thigh. “What do you want, Capitan?”
“I think you know what I want…” Killian chuckled darkly, his lips brushing against their neck, nipping at y/n’s skin, leaving marks. Their cheeks became crimson and their heart raced when his lips and the scruff of his beard brushed against the sensitive skin.
Y/n bit their lip, trying not to show the effect the pirate had on them, Killian grinned at the resistance they had. his eyes were darkening with desire when he stared at them. He ran his free hand through y/n's hair, pulling their head back slightly to expose their neck further. “It seems like you're already starting to fall under my spell…”
“You wish…” Y/n argued back, lying to both him and themself. Their heart was pounding and if their hands weren't still tied, y/n knew deep down they'd be grabbing for any part of him or that leather coat they could reach.
Killian chuckled darkly, leaning in to place a soft kiss on y/n’s neck. He pressed the curved end of his hook against the middle of their collarbone and slowly trailed it down their chest then slipped between their legs. Y/n's breath hitched as he rubbed slow circles against their clothed sex through the thin fabric of their pants. “if you want me to stop I will, you have my word… If not there's no turning back”
y/n shuttered and quickly nodded, their mind working over time and was too cought up in the moment to form a proper awnser. Killian's grin widened as he saw the submission in y/n’s eyes. He leaned in, his lips claiming their's in a fierce kiss that left them breathless. Y/n lost balance momentarily, but the desk that was behind them didn't let the fall happen.
Killian pulled away from their lips, whispering as he stared into their eyes. his hand slipping under their shirt to rub against their bare skin, the cold rings that were wrapped around his fingers made y/n shiver. “turn around, bend over the desk.” He nipped at their bottom lip, demanding there obedience.
y/n didn't understand why they responded so quickly. They leaned forward and pressed a quick soft kiss against his lips before submitting to his command and bending over his desk, her ass and tied wrists now pointing towrds him.
Killian smirked as he watched y/n bend over his desk, their ass on display for him. He walked around to stand behind them, his hard cock pressing against their as through his pants. He Hooked his hook on the part of the rope between y/n's wrists, securing them between the desk and his body. y/n got inpacent and pressed their ass against his hardened erection.
Killian growled, his hands moving to grip y/n's hips roughly. He lifted them up slightly, pushing their legs apart with his own. His other hand came down, slapping against her ass hard enough to sting. “don't move”
A shiver ran down y/n's spine as Killian forced their pants down their thighs. Killian groaned, moving his hand to wrap it around his hard erection. He went slow just to tease as he guiding it towards y/n's wet entrance. Y/n's moans encouraged his fast, rough movements as he thrust forward, pushing into y/n's ass with a groan of satisfaction. “Bloddy hell, your perfect”
His thrusts became more forceful, punctuated by harsh grunts of pleasure. He leaned his arm next to y/n, his free hand gripping the desk tightly for balance. “I'm going to make you scream my name, Love”
y/n pressed their forehead against the wooden table as Killian thrusted roughly, stretching them out. “Killian…” they moaned.
Killian groaned at the noises they made as he continued to fuck y/n from behind. fingers gripped their hip tightly as he pushed forward. His breath was ragged against their neck as his hips pistoned back and forth, driving into y/n with force. Y/n's skin felt like it was on fire and they could no longer control the noises that fell from their lips.
"Hell... You like this, don't you?" His voice was raspy and full of lust. He looped his Hook on the rope that binded y/n's wrists and tugged them up. Their back was pressed against his chest and he captured their mouth in a searing hot kiss. He forced y/n against the desk again, but didn't bend them down like last time just continued to pound into them.
“fuck, feels so good” y/n moaned.
“That's it, moan for me…” Killian's words were lost in a string of curses and moans as he felt himself getting closer to the edge. His thrusts became more erratic, each one hitting y/n's sweet spot perfectly.
“killian!” y/n's moans became higher and more desperate, their heart was pounding and they felt themselves about ready to fall over the edge as the knot in their stomach got tighter. “Damn, I'm close”
Killian panted heavily as he thrust into y/n one final time, his entire body shaking with the force of his orgasm. He held onto y/n tightly, feeling his release pulse through him as he growled out his satisfaction. “Fuck... Fucking perfect…”
feeling Killian's release within them, y/n cried out in pleasure as they came as well, their head fell back in pleasure against killian's shoulder as their whole body shaked with the force of it. As they leaned back against him, their chest heaving up and down as they caught their breath “your so perfect, Love”
Killian gently pulled out of y/n, his cock slippery with their combined fluids. He turned them around, pulling them into a warm embrace. His fingers traced gentle patterns on y/n's back as he kissed their forehead. “I've got you” he whispered as he reached behind them and untied their wrists.
“here, let's get you somewhere more comfortable” he murmured, kissing y/n's forehead again before carrying them over to the small leather couch that was in his room. He laid them down gently, his eyes never leaving their face as he brushed some hair out of her face. His fingers tracing gentle patterns on their cheek before pulling the covers up around them, letting them rest. “your no longer a trespasser… if you decide to stay a bored my ship you can guarantee protection from me and the crew”
Y/n smiled softly, their eyes getting heavy. “I'd like that..”

“In the Shadows” - Killian Jones x Shy!Reader
Summary: Shy but powerful you learn to trust Killian Jones, slowly discovering that your power and connection to him are not things to fear.
——————
The forest was quiet, the only sounds being the gentle rustling of leaves and the soft chirp of distant birds. It was the kind of silence that made your heart beat louder in your chest, and in the stillness, you found solace. You sat on a tree branch, cloaked in darkness, the tips of your fingers brushing against the rough bark of the ancient oak. The shadows clung to you like a second skin, as if they were alive, ready to bend to your will. Your power was a strange one, an ability that you barely understood yourself. You could slip in and out of the shadows, bending them around you, becoming one with the darkness.
You weren’t a warrior, never had been. Your heart had always been soft, your mind often racing, overthinking every little detail. You had never been a fighter. In fact, you preferred to hide, to avoid conflict, to remain unseen and unnoticed. And yet, here you were, far from the safety of your quiet home, hidden in a world that didn’t understand people like you—people with abilities that could tear the fabric of the world apart.
It had been months since you’d left your small cottage in the woods, months since you’d found refuge in this new life. You had learned to keep your powers in check, learned to avoid the attention of those who might use them against you. Most of the time, you used your ability to remain unseen, to slip between the cracks of the world. The idea of standing out terrified you. You were content to be a shadow, unseen by all but the few people who needed your help—those who knew to seek you out in the dark.
But then, there was him.
Killian Jones was not like anyone you had ever met. He was brash, confident, and bold—qualities you had always admired from a distance but never thought you could possess. His dark hair and the deep blue of his eyes were always the first thing you noticed, as if they were two beacons of light in the very shadows you clung to. There was an intensity to him, a fierceness that made you nervous but also strangely drawn to him.
You hadn’t meant to meet him, not really. It had been a mistake—your powers had flared when you were trying to hide from a group of bounty hunters, and somehow, you had ended up in his path. And though you had tried to keep your distance, the pull between you and him had been undeniable. He had seen you at your most vulnerable, and instead of fearing you, he had seen your power and stood beside you.
It had been weeks since that day, and though you still feared your abilities, you found yourself growing more and more comfortable around him. Killian had a way of making you feel like you weren’t alone in the world—like your power, the very thing you feared most, could be something beautiful, something useful. And despite the way your heart raced when he looked at you, you found yourself wanting to believe in his words.
You closed your eyes, focusing on the pull of the shadows around you, drawing them closer. The coolness of the dark was a comfort, a reminder that you were in control—even if you weren’t always sure how to be.
“You’re doing it again,” a voice broke through the silence, smooth and steady, like the sound of the sea in the distance.
You flinched, nearly falling off the branch, your powers flickering for a moment before you caught yourself. Your eyes darted to the figure standing below you. Killian. Of course. He had a way of sneaking up on you, even when you were hiding in plain sight.
You could see him now, leaning against the trunk of a nearby tree, his arms crossed over his chest. The dim light from the setting sun reflected off his dark coat, making his figure seem larger than life. His gaze, as always, was fixed on you, an unreadable expression on his face.
“I didn’t hear you coming,” you muttered, trying to sound more composed than you felt.
“You never do,” he replied with a smirk, though there was a softness to his voice that made you feel a little less anxious. “That’s why you’re so damn good at this. But you can’t hide forever, love.”
You stiffened at his words. Hiding was all you had ever known, and it was easier, safer, than facing the world. Facing him. You didn’t trust yourself around him, didn’t trust your powers enough to let anyone in. What if you hurt him? What if you lost control?
“I’m not hiding,” you replied, your voice a little softer than you intended. “I’m just… observing.”
Killian raised an eyebrow. “Observing, huh?” He took a step closer, his boots crunching on the forest floor, and you instinctively shrank back into the shadows, the darkness wrapping around you like a protective blanket. But instead of stopping, he followed you, his presence looming over you. “You don’t need to hide from me, you know.”
His words were gentle, but they carried an undeniable weight. You swallowed hard, trying to push down the wave of nerves that rose in your chest. You didn’t understand why he was so insistent on being near you, why he seemed to seek you out even when you did everything in your power to remain unseen.
“Why are you here?” you asked, your voice barely a whisper, the shadows thickening around you.
Killian’s expression softened, and he took another step closer. “I’m here because you’re not alone anymore,” he said, his voice steady and reassuring. “I’m here because I see you, and I don’t want you to hide from me. Not when you’ve got so much power inside you. You’re meant for more than just lurking in the dark.”
Your heart pounded in your chest as his words sank in. He was so sure of you, so certain that you had something to offer. The thought was terrifying, and yet, it made something inside you stir—a small flicker of hope, perhaps. Maybe you weren’t just a shadow after all.
“I don’t know if I can,” you admitted, voice barely above a whisper. “I’m not like you, Killian. I’m… I’m just scared.”
He was silent for a moment, and then, before you could blink, he was beside you, his hand reaching out to gently touch your arm. The contact was warm, grounding. His touch was like a lifeline you didn’t know you needed.
“You don’t have to be like me,” he said softly. “You just need to be yourself. And if you need me, I’ll be here. Always.”
You looked up at him, and for the first time, you felt the weight of his words settle in your chest. Maybe, just maybe, you could trust him. Maybe, for the first time, you could let someone see you—all of you—and not be afraid.
The shadows were still there, wrapping around you, but now they felt like a part of you, something you could control. And maybe, just maybe, they weren’t as scary as you had once thought.
And as Killian smiled at you, that familiar warmth spreading in your chest, you realized that for the first time in a long time, you weren’t alone in the dark.

Chapter 4
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Your arm goes slack in her hold. They notice this right away, also following your gaze to Belle’s necklace, wondering what’s happening. “Y/n? What is it?” Belle asks, using your name this time. After a few moments, you find your voice again. “Where did you get that?” You say hushed, barely a whisper, not even realizing it.
“My necklace?” Belle asks to confirm, but it’s quite obvious that’s what you mean, she just wants to be sure. Especially how it seems that you’re apparently on the cusp of being vulnerable with them. You nod your head, not sure if talking is the best idea right now as how memories of that exact necklace flood your mind.
“It’s from Rumple’s shop. We had found it in the back in a small brown wooden box a little while back. I thought it was pretty.” Belle explains softly, Rumple nodding along with her as that’s what had happened. “And you found it in the shop? Your shop?” You snap your gaze to Gold.
“Yes, why though? Why is it important to you?” He asks, wanting to know more about you and why the necklace is warranting this reaction you’re having. From their shocked states at how your mood has changed so quickly, you easily get out of Belle’s hold. You briskly make your way out of the park and down the street to where the pawn shop is located before they can even comprehend that you’ve left.
Emma, Snow, and David had left with Henry a few minutes ago, wanting the boy not to witness the scene unfolding any further. The rest of them however, Regina, Neal, and Hook, come over to the two of them after you had stormed off.
“Where the bloody hell is she going?” Killian asks. “I think I have a pretty good idea” Rumple looks to Belle, both of them having a feeling you’re going to the pawn shop. Which if anything makes it easier for them to find and talk to you again.
“Where?” Neal asks once Belle and his father start walking and them three follow behind them. “The pawn shop” Belle answers with no evidence for them to know why exactly you’re going there, even though the two of them don’t necessarily know wither. Other than the fact that it has something to do with the necklace Belle is wearing.
Once you get to Gold’s pawn shop, you wave your hand, doing a spell to unlock the door, It clicks open, and you enter the shop, your magic closing the door behind you. Immediately you start searching through the counter display cases and the shelving that carries many trinkets. None of which is what you’re looking for.
The next minute, you hear the lock twisting and bell jingle above the door, alerting you that others enter the pawn shop. You glance over to the newcomers and see Gold, Belle, Regina, Hook, and Neal. Not paying any mind to them, you look through the last shelving’s items. By the last row, you turn back around and groan in annoyance, not finding what you’re looking for.
The five of them look to one another in confusion of what you’re looking for. “What are you doing, Dearie?” Gold takes a few steps towards you. “Looking for something” You scoff, not bothering to look over to him or the others.
You see the entrance to the backroom, and quickly walk over there, your heels clacking against the hard wood flooring. They all look estranged at your ease to just go into the backroom with no permission, but follow you nonetheless.
Gold sighs when he sees you going through the contents on his worktable in here. “Must you create a mess?” He sighs, crossing his arms as you scramble through the cluttered things, still in search of the item you’re looking for. “No, but it doesn’t bother me” you shrug and don’t even look up at him.
“At least tell us what you’re looking for. Maybe we can help you?” Belle asks, looking between her husband and you. Seeing as he’s getting no where with you. You finally turn to the group, looking at Belle. Which only shocks her momentarily to see maybe her words had actually gotten through to you.
“Where did you find that necklace? Where in the shop?” You ask her, your voice teetering on the edge of restlessness. Ever since you saw that necklace around the woman’s neck, there was the restlessness that flooded your thought and body about knowing if the necklace is here, the other object must be here as well.
Belle is shocked by the question, but jumps back in, answering. “Over here, on this shelving. It was in a wooden box. Next to these books.” She walks over to the wooden shelving and points to the empty spot in the shelf next to the same books she talked about. You skeptically follow her and look, seeing that there isn’t another smaller wooden box there. You groan in frustration as its not on that shelf or any of the others.
Backing up in annoyance, you clench your hands. “We can find what you’re looking for. Just tell us what it is” Regina speaks up from behind you, next to Killian who’s watching your movements of frustration with a slight caution, considering what you had done the last time you felt like that with them. You bite your lip hard, not wanting to tell them until you find it. Even then maybe not then. Depends how you feel at that moment.
Looking up at the ceiling, you groan before stopping. You catch a glimpse of the smaller wooden box you’re looking for on the very top of the bookcase shelf. The others notice right away, following your line of vision, also landing on the box. “That’s what you’re looking for? That little thing?” Neal asks, confused to why that little box is so important to his half sister.
“Yep” Is all you say, not caring to look back over to them before going to the table next to the shelf. You lift your body up onto the table, standing on it. They all watch in cautiousness as you reach over to grab the tiny wood box. One misstep, you would tumble to the ground. Thankfully, you don’t though. You snatch the box up in your hand and jump to the ground, landing on your feet.
You turn away from them all, so they won’t see. Holding the box in front of you but close, you slowly unlatch it and open the top. You breathe a sigh of relief to see the content of the wooden box. The ring. The matching ring to the necklace Belle is wearing. Both of which you had in the Enchanted Forest.
You stole the matching ring and necklace from a booth of a very wealthy vendor in a village you passed by while finding cover in the neighboring woods. Your eyes were drawn to the set in passing, there was a feeling you had, like they were calling to you and it wouldn’t leave you alone. So, you curated a distraction with your magic and stole the items when the vendor wasn’t looking and didn’t have any clue it was you who stole the merchandise.
Once you disappeared back into the woods and had gotten a closer look at the necklace and ring, you could see the detail of the golden craftsmanship that were made into the shape of a rose. The same rose shape in both the jewelry items. On the necklace it’s a small pendant and the ring it’s twisted on the top of the band.
And now both these items are here.
You carefully take the ring out of the box and turn it between your thumb and pointer finger, the cooling metal against your skin. The familiar feeling of it in your grasp makes you feel a sense of nostalgia of that day.
You hear Belle coming closer to you, hearing her own heels against the flooring. Quickly closing the ring in the palm of your hand so it’s not visible, you turn around to face her. “Found it.” You leave the box on the table you stood on and went to walk away. But are stopped by Belle’s voice. “What is it? Why is it so important? What does it have to do with my necklace? You can tell us.” She tries asking and reassuring you.
“If we’re being critical here, then technically it’s my necklace.” You sigh and slowly turn back around to face her. Her eyebrows furrow, as well as the other fours at your reveal. “Your…your necklace? How did it end up here then?” She asks softly, trying not to let her joy flood through her words too much about you communicating and have you change your mind about staying for the time being.
“Why do you think? Cause of the stupid curse!” You exclaim, turning to Regina and glaring at her for a moment. The dark-haired women just sighs and crosses her arms in response, not wanting to deal with anymore angry townspeople about her past actions. Especially when there’s more important challenges on hand, like having you believe for instance.
“Then what’s in your hand?” Neal looks to you as his father nor Belle have asked this yet. You look over to the man with a dangerous glare on your face. His back straightens up a bit more at your look, but still waits for your answer, along with the others. “Something to go with it” you say, not giving any information.
Attempting to leave again, you get stopped. Again. What is with these people? You think to yourself, just wanting to go back to your apartment. You shouldn’t have left today, should have listened to your yesterday self. There’s a magical that’s put up by Mr. Gold, blocking the doorway to prevent you from leaving. Sighing you slowly turn around to the man in question.
“just answer the question, Dearie. We won’t do anything against you for it.” He goes over to Belle and wraps an arm around her waist. “Then what’s this?” You point back to the magically altered doorway. He sighs, “Just a precaution. I promise no one here will hurt you, just please answer the question, and possibly talk to us.” He says softer. Which takes Regina and Hook by surprise, but they don’t show it, not wanting to mess anything up for him and Belle.
You tap your closed fist holding the ring against your thigh, not knowing what to do. You can’t leave without showing and talking, yet you don’t want to show them the ring or talk to these people any further. But what other choice do you have? Just stand here in awkward silence with these probable delirious people thinking you’re related to them. No way.
Biting your tongue, you grudgingly bring up your closed fist and open it, revealing the matching ring to the necklace Belle is wearing. Belle’s eyes scrunch in recognition right away. The married couple walk closer and you hold the ring in between your thumb and pointer finger to let them have a better view so you can get out of here faster. “It matches the necklace” Neal says, also taking a closer look along with Regina and Hook.
“No shit, captain obvious” You’re done with these people and just want to leave. “Where did you get these? Did you make them?” Rumple asks. “I stole this and the necklace from some vendor in a rich village in the Enchanted Forest” you say nonchalantly, not caring if stealing is technically illegal…Well depending how you grasp the concept…You watch way too many movies.
Belle is the only one who is outrightly surprised from your nonchalant revelation of theft. “Get over it, wasn’t even in this world” you roll your eyes. “There, you saw it, you keep the necklace, I get this, can I go now?” You pocket the ring and cross your arms. “Not just yet.” Rumple says.
You outwardly groan, showing your annoyance and want to leave the pawn shop after you got what you were looking for. “What now?” You glare up at him.
“Just some answers is all” He shrugs, acting as if it isn’t that important, but everyone know including you know they obviously are to an extent. “And what would those entail?” You raise a brow.
“To get to know you. We’re telling the truth when we say we care about you and that we’re your family. Just please, you need to believe us” Belle is the one to talk this time in a soft tone, looking at you with pleading eyes. You scoff but know you won’t be able to leave without answering any questions they have.
“Fine. You get three questions and I’ll answer them truthfully, choose them wisely” I say with a glare in my eyes and move a couple steps around them to lean against the cluttered worktable. “But just so you know, I believe none of that B S about me being apart of your weird family or daughter. That, that’s just plain crazy person talk.” You let them know in case they think they have actually broken through to you. Never going to happen, you think to yourself. You scan the five people in front of you, waiting for one of them to speak and ask the first question.
Belle only looks a little distraught at the way you clarified how you still felt and thought about them. She stays next to her husband, linking her arm with his. Your eyebrows wrinkle at the show of affection, gross. Can’t these people just keep their hands to themselves? “Well?” You let out an aggravated sigh after a minute of silence from everyone, only breathing heard.
“Where have you been all your life?” The first question is finally asked by Rumpelstiltskin. Something he and Belle have been curious and worried about all the years they’ve been looking for you.
Raising an eyebrow for a second, you sigh. That’s easy enough to answer at least. “I grew up in the Enchanted Forest woods and sometimes would travel in tiny villages. That’s all I remember. I had been there for my whole life before the 28 years here from the curse. And while I was here, my cursed self didn’t exactly like people either.” You tell them slower, so you don’t have to repeat it again. But it should be easy enough to grasp and understand. Or else these people are way stupider than they seem, you amuse yourself.
“You stopped aging somehow” he says, knowing if you were the actual age I should be (minus the curse) from when I was born, then I would still be at least a decade older. “That your second question, old man?” You just want to get out of here. “No, just a statement.” He knows you’re off guard about how he knows you stopped aging. No one knows that, you’ve never told anyone. “But a true one, hm?” He tilts his head, a step from menacing.
“Next question.” You brush him off, not wanting to delve into it. Belle and Neal aren’t surprised by the info that Rumple just said, but Hook and Regina are since they weren’t told exactly how long ago you were born, just that you’re their daughter.
“Why are you so defensive about yourself and every time we try to talk to you about the truth?” Belle asks softly. “You’re not telling the truth though. I think I would know if I had any parents who gave a shit about me a long time ago” you sneer, evading the actual question.
“Just answer the question” Regina huffs, starting to get fed up with you dodging everything they try to send your way to at least maybe believe a sliver of the truth. They all look at me expectantly. “You said we could ask you three questions, and you’d answer them truthfully” Belle reminds you as if you’d forgotten what you’d just said. “…Fine.” You sigh, aggravatedly, recounting her question in your mind.
“All I’ve ever known was being by myself. My parents abandoned me when I was a baby, and I had a pretty shitty childhood…and teenage life as well. I had to fend for myself to stay alive each day while in the enchanted forest which isn’t exactly easy for an adult, let alone a kid. So, I’m not exactly keen on complete strangers following me and telling me that they’re my parents when those are all the memories I have growing up. Doesn’t exactly make my life better, just makes it messier and more meaningless at this point. As for the whole defending myself bit, would you people not defend yourselves if a bunch of strangers came stalking you and telling you crazy ‘truths’ out of no where?” They don’t say anything, thinking over what you had just told them. “That’s what I thought.” So close. Just one more question, then you’re out of here!
“That’s what you thought? But we didn’t abandon-“ You cut Belle off, “Ah, ah, no more of that. No more trying to get me to believe your delusions. You want to ask me the last question, go ahead. But I’m not going to give into that.”
Belle looks disheartened at learning more about your past. How could you grow up like that? Thinking that she and Rumple abandoned you. She wishes they were able to raise you and give you a good childhood. She snaps out of her thoughts, her eyes landing on your face. It’s stone cold and obvious how you don’t want to be here anymore. Or never have.
“I don’t have all day. Out with the last question already.” You snap at them, voice rigid with impatience.
Rumple steers the last question away, but back to the matching ring and necklace you stole. “What about the ring and necklace. You stole them, but why? And don’t say because you were looking for easy money, or else you would’ve sold them and not kept them all this time, well before the curse.” He speaks easily, making sure you don’t just give a lame answer that’s just at the cusp of a half truth.
You look down at the ring in your hand and then at the necklace Belle is wearing. Your voice goes softer, surprising them as you finally answer the last question. “I felt…drawn to them. Connected, I’m not sure. But something like waved over me when I saw them, something inside me felt that I needed them. The same feeling I got from dreams I used to have when I was younger. Of a woman mostly. Once there was a man, but that was only the last time before my magic um went all haywire and stopped me from…aging.” You reveal so much in this explanation. More than you probably should have, but you’re desperate to just get out of here.
“So, the crocodile was right, you had stopped aging before the curse” Hook was the first one to speak up, latching onto the last thing you had said. All you do is shrug, still wondering just how Gold knew that. Though Gold does turn and give a less than friendly look at the pirate. “But you had a feeling like from dreams you had in the past?” Belle asks.
No, no more of this. “You already used your three questions, too bad.” I tell them, faking a disappointed tone to my voice at the end. “No.” Rumple states. “No?” You raise a brow, challenging.
“No, you’re going to answer us about what you just explained. You can’t just leave us with this knowledge and not explain it. So, no, you’re going to stay here, and answer us.” His protective side shines through, even though it is towards you mostly, but it’s not exactly like you’re believing them.
You scoff, he can’t be fucking serious? But of course, he is. You should have just kept your mouth closed, so much for being civil, you think. “And what if I don’t?” You test the waters.
“Then you’re going to be stuck here until you do” Regina walks closer, waving her hand to do a spell. The next moment, vines appear out of the sides on the table and wrap around your body. Your eyes widen in surprise as the enchanted vines restrain you tightly against the table with no probable way of getting out without Regina lifting the spell.
“Regina!” Belle exclaims, eyes widening at what the woman is doing to you. The vines squeeze tighter, starting to constrict you. I squirm at the pain, “Alright, alright! Fine!” You yell, giving in to her trick. The vines are still restraining me, but are no longer closing tightly in on me, releasing the painful pressure from regina slacking the spell a bit.
She smirks, “There, was that so hard? Go ahead” She takes a step back, motioning for Belle and Rumple to resume questioning me as her, Hook, and Neal watch and may pipe in at moments. But they attempt to tread lightly around this (well, at least Hook and Neal are trying to).
Belle still eyes Regina crudely at how she just inflicted physical pain on you. You may be defensive and not the nicest, but you’re still her and Rumple’s daughter, she doesn’t want you to get hurt. “With my entire being, fuck you” You glare at Regina. She doesn’t falter, being used to be called crude terms.
Rumple places a hand on his wife’s shoulder, having her attention switch back to me instead of at Regina, who did help, but albeit not using the best method ever. “So, you’ll answer us?” She softly asks. “Does it look like I have any other option at the moment?” You state rhetorically.
“Okay…Then how about the dreams you said you had. Of a woman, and then a man one time?” She hesitantly asks, hoping she remembered the right things. “If you’re going to ask me who they were, then I’ve got nothing for you. I never saw their faces or their voices. Only their bodies and the motions of what they were doing. But it was always really hazy especially when I woke up. As if I was actually there.” You explain to the best of your abilities of not letting your voice break off. Talking about your past, especially vulnerable moments like this is hard to do and not something you would ever think to be sharing with these creepers.
Her face scrunches in confusion and hurt for you. “And that feeling you were talking about? Between the dreams and the jewelry?” Rumple speaks softer now, gently rubbing Belle’s tense shoulder as he asks you.
“I don’t know how to describe it. Maybe like I felt connected to it? I don’t know. But that doesn’t exactly make sense since I know I’ve never met a woman or man from my dreams in real life. So, it’s always been a mystery. One I’ve long decided not worth to think about too much since I haven’t had a dream for decades after.” You tell them exasperated and aggravated from still being held against the table by the magical restraints.
He looks down to think about it, as well as Belle looking at you with widened eyes. She has a suspicion about those dreams, but she’s not sure if she should, given your current predicament and the looks of you about to lose your temper again. She has to speak to Rumple first. And by the looks of it, he’s having the same thoughts about this as her.
It’s been a couple minutes of silence from the two of them as well as the other three. “There, I answered. Mostly against my will.” You glance down at the magical branches around your torso and arms. “Now, let me go. And stop looking at me like that, lady. I am not your daughter, and I never will be.” You snarl at the brunette. Belle’s mouth agapes, not knowing what to say, her heart hurting at the words.
This catching Rumple’s attention, he doesn’t let it stand for how you’re treating his wife and your mother. “Watch your tone” Rumple states, teeth gritted together. You scoff, chuckling. “Last I checked, I can say whatever the hell I want to, Dark One. You don’t scare me” You look straight into his eyes, glaring.
Regina flicks her wrist, undoing the restraining spell, not wanting to see how this ends if she keeps you there. Even if you are restrained. She nor the others don’t want to witness that. Being released, you shake your arms out from the strangled feeling, still glaring at the older man with fury laced in your features.
After a few seconds of not breaking eye contact, you push off the worktable and forcefully move everyone out of your way with magic before leaving the backroom. You make your way through the shop and out the front door, the annoying incessant bell ringing above it as you depart from the shop.
