Killervibe Week Day 2 - Most Underrated Moment

Okay, so for me, I feel like a lot of the Killervibe moments are underrated, but one of their underrated moments that I feel strongly about is in season 1, 1x15 (”Out of Time”), when Cisco was stressed out by both his family and Dr. Wells, and Caitlin tells him she’d stay and watch all the Walking Dead episodes with him.  

Although this is a very short scene and Caitlin quickly finds out Cisco’s dealing with something that even The Walking Dead can’t solve, I still feel like it’s really important for people to see in order to understand their relationship and how much they care for each other. Caitlin was literally willing to stay up all night just to keep Cisco company because she noticed something was wrong, and this scene also shows viewers that Cisco and Caitlin’s relationship extends beyond work boundaries. Not only are they just co-workers, but they’re best friends too; friends who care about each other and are willing to help the other, even if the motives are unclear (like how Cisco asks Caitlin to distract Wells right after this scene, and she agrees, even though she doesn’t quite understand why). There are plenty of other scenes out there that show this deep compassion and concern these two have for each other, but I feel like this scene is often overlooked when people give examples about how Killervibe is a caring/loving ship (gif credit to sssssssim)

Killervibe Week 2017: Most Underrated Moment

I love all the Caitlin and Cisco moments in episode 306 so much that I actually had a really hard time picking just one to write about! I had four or five moments written down, but I eventually settled on Cisco’s dislike of horror movies as a fun idea to expand on. I have no idea if Caitlin would ever actually throw popcorn, but I like to think it’s a habit she picked up from Cisco.

Day 5 - Pre Particle Accelerator

Oh boy. So I didn’t have time to write a fic, but I DO have lots of head-cannons about this:

• When Cisco first met Caitlin, he had a bit of a crush on her, but quickly buried it once he realized Caitlin was dating Ronnie (I think everyone agrees on that one)

• To be honest, Ronnie intimidated Cisco at first, but after talking for a bit he realized Ronnie was actually really intelligent, especially when it came to classic movies and TV shows

• They started talking about Star Wars and debating which characters could defeat each other in light saber battles, while Caitlin rolled her eyes in the corner

• She’s starting to regret introducing Cisco to her boyfriend after this conversation goes on for nearly an hour

• During Ronnie and Caitlin’s next movie night Cisco suddenly appears

• Ronnie apparently forgot to tell Caitlin that he had invited him over, and she wants to be annoyed that this new guy is interrupting her date, but soon realizes that it’s hard to be mad at Cisco, especially when he brings chips and dip

• After that they start having weekly movie nights, and Cisco and Ronnie gang up on Caitlin to make her watch all their favorite sci-fi and action movies

• When she falls asleep during Aliens they are both appalled

• At work the three of them spend so much time together they’re dubbed the title, ‘The Three Musketeers’ by other coworkers

• They’re mutual hate for Hartley leads them to set up an elaborate prank to play on him when April fools rolls around

• They spend embarrassing amounts of time on this prank, so much so that Wells begins to grow suspicious and tries to find out what they’re doing

• He catches Caitlin and Cisco working on it one day, and they end up telling him they’re building it to trick Ronnie in order to get Wells to stop snooping

• But then Wells wants to see it in action, so poor unsuspecting Ronnie becomes the guinea pig and gets pranked

• Caitlin and Cisco try to be remorseful, but even though it wasn’t used on Hartley it was still hilarious - even Wells laughed

• Ronnie threatens to never speak to both of them again for their betrayal, but later that evening they’re all at Caitlin’s apartment watching movies and eating Chinese takeout again

• A few months down the road Ronnie and Caitlin get engaged, and Cisco is thrilled for them, despite the small, lingering crush he’s still harboring for Caitlin

• A few days later Cisco walks on on Caitlin cursing her cellphone, and discovers that her mother isn’t pleased with her daughter marrying Ronnie, despite his intelligence and good pay

• He then takes it upon himself to help Caitlin organize the wedding, and helps her with flower arrangements and catering and all the necessities

• Then the particle accelerator happens, and Ronnie is gone

• Both Caitlin and Cisco feel like their lives had fallen apart, so they seek comfort in each other, Caitlin needing comfort more than anything

• Cisco stayed at her place for nearly two months, helping her get through the days and reminding her to eat, like any good friend would

• Just as he thinks that Caitlin was never going to emerge from her grief, he gets a call from Dr Wells asking if they still wanted work

• Cisco accepts, and he and Caitlin begin watching over a comatose patient named Barry Allen

• Slowly but surely Caitlin begins to recover, and they fall back into some of their old routines, like movie nights, pranks, and takeouts

• But through it all Cisco never forgets how Caitlin was willing to become his friend and give him a chance, and so he vows to always stay her friend too, and never give up on her

•He’s still kept his promise, even today
