I did a redraw of a piece I drew last year for the killer event!

I felt like drawing Dwi and hecking up some boys so it was the perfect 2 for 1!

The trial had been going well, 2 generators completed with only 2 hooks! They were all on track to escape. They had been anyways.

Something had shifted once that 2nd generator was completed. The air of the trial had gotten thick and oppressive, making hairs stand on end and already jumpy survivors even more on edge.

That's when it started, the survivors were dropping like flies. Hell the killer outright murdered the first survivor he caught at that point. There was no way he had a mori to be able to do that. No way any of the survivors could have seen that coming.

Low and behold with the 1st survivor dead, one on hook, and the other injured, the killer had found their way to Dwight.

And it was.... Fancy? Mowing through the survivors like they meant nothing...?

He lunged at Dwight, summoning Entity talons to pierce his flesh. Cackling when they hit their mark. "Find a way to free me yet Dwight?" Fancy spat, venom oozing from his words. His single orange eye piercing through Dwight's very soul as he continued to pursue his target. @ask-the-dweets

URGH! Dwight didnt expected this attack and got hit at the shoulder.

The claws dissapered right after the attack, this was his chance to run off. Dodging the claws who shoot out the ground all the time trying to stab him.

He need his full concentration to survive this chase and didnt answere 'Fancy' yet.

While Dwight trys his best to not die the other surviver didnt saved the hooked teammate who get's sarcrefised the very moment. Thats when he relises that the injurid mate waits for there death so they can get the hatch.

Exhaused after a long chase Fancy and Banana are at a pallet. Heavy breathing, coughing. "W- wait..." catching for air. "I.. I didnt found a way yet. Sadly, im to weak to do something usefull."

This was the first time I saw Lily Gladstone in anything and I screamed about her specifically for days. The film is segmented into three stories about women living in the northwestern plains region of the US. All three segments are good, but Lily Gladstone’s is by far my favorite. She plays a ranch hand who starts sitting in on a night school law class when she develops a crush on the teacher, played by (bonus!) Kristen Stewart.

Certain Women is streaming on The Criterion Channel, AMC+, and Kanopy (Kanopy is free!). It is also available to rent on the major platforms.

The Unknown Country directed by Morrisa Maltz

This movie is stunning. Think Nomadland but even more stripped down. Lily Gladstone plays a character on a roadtrip to reunite with her estranged family after the death of her grandmother. Along the way she tries to learn more about who her grandmother was in life and reconnect with her memory. A lot of the film is unscripted, and breathtaking shots of the western US landscape punctuate the brief encounters she has at each stop on her journey.

The Unknown Country is available to rent on the major platforms such as Apple TV, Amazon, and YouTube.

Quantum Cowboys directed by Geoff Marslett

This one’s for the multiverse fans. A really fun romp that might make your head hurt if you think about it too hard. Lily Gladstone plays a character in the 1870’s southwest who encounters a pair of travelers stuck in a time loop (sort of). She enlists their help (sort of) in a plan to recover land that was taken from her and in return helps them in their attempt to break their cycle. Most of the film is rotoscope animation, so it’s a completely different type of a performance from Lily Gladstone. I had the extraordinary luck of meeting her at a festival screening last year and they said it was such a fun deviation from their usual hyper realistic work.

Fancy Dance directed by Erica Tremblay

The most recent Lily Gladstone film to blow me away, and maybe my favorite film of 2023. Lily Gladstone plays a character who has been trying to find her missing sister while simultaneously providing care for her sister’s daughter. When it appears she may lose custody, the two hit the road to search for the teen’s mother. It’s sad and sweet and beautiful. I have to warn that the subject matter is heavy and all too real but that’s why it’s an important story. It’s about something that is so pervasive, yet people outside of the community affected turn a blind eye to it.

Fancy Dance can be seen in select theaters and is now streaming on Apple TV+. Erica Tremblay previously directed Lily Gladstone in the short film Little Chief, which can be found on Vimeo.

I read your headcanon about how wars interact with his hair and i wanted to share a weird hc of mine and that is at some point in the adventure the chain has to attend to a ball in the wars Hyrule and he goes crazy and traps Legend, wild, and especially hyrule in a very long session of washing,trimming and stlyling their hair

And wars would feel ashamed that his brothers showed up looking ugly and i think Legend,wild and hyrule are the ones who would pay no attention to haircare, Legend for live in depression after koholint and Marín, Hyrule and wild because they are childrens of the forest and survivalist.

This will trigger all the insecurities of wars, so he just tries to keep up the appearance of a great hero, but the other three definitely don't care.

its actually so funny to me that you say this because my hc is almost the exact opposite hehe, I feel like those three are on the end of the spectrum of Links who DO care a lot about their hair, especially Wild skhdkhgf

I can absolutely see Wars being stressed about taking the others to a fancy event, because exactly two minutes will go buy before one of them breaks something or starts an argument. He can dress them up as pretty as he wants but they are gremlins at their core and Wind WILL find a way to bite someone/something just like Time will likely vanish somehow while Twi curls up in a corner, Wild outwits an asshole nobleman by pretending to be SO stupid he gets the guy to make a fool of himself, and Hyrule would definitely put a non edible decoration in his mouth at some point

Four might be the only one taking the experience seriously, but even he’s playing 4d cheese in a different corner from the one Twi’s in and making soooo much by gambling over card games. And he gets away with this because Wars doesn’t see him to it
