Only 6 more models to go for my NOVA Open list! These 5 scouts join the last 5 as objective grabbers and action doers. Gave this crew shotguns from the BT upgrade kit because they look cool and they ain’t gonna be shooting much anyway.

The ninth member of the Killteam. Nearly done! The Lugger! Really surprised he's not the luĝgr or something. A model I left towards the end because look at all those bits!!

He's totally vanilla, I was tempted to throw some more equipment here and there but I decided not to push my luck.

His paint job turned out to be really fun. I don't think I would have managed at the start of the team. I've a few nicer brushes now too that really helped. In particular I really like his bandana and the leather on his shotgun holster, there's a few layers of stippling and scratches built up on it that look great in person.

His colour is Purple

I really like Noise Marines from Warhammer, but only 1 modern model of them exists. So kitbashed a whole Kill Team of them, in some of my favourite colours :3

Started painting more minis. Wash and then highlights next

My empire of unfinished green lol.

Planning on painting the trenches with a Modge podge base then using a grout mixture to emulate mud.

Planning on carving stones into the bridge and supports, basing black, and then dry brushing gray. Used bondo to seal cracks on supports which is not idea but I think will still be workable.

Planning on using these for 40k, killteam, Legion, and Turnip28. Any advice? Is the bridge too tall?

You know, with all the alien- and mutant-options 40k offers, I wonder if GW eventually makes the plunge into meme-territory and makes a Militarum or Inquisition based Felind killteam.

Catboys and -girls are canon in 40k, and they have been for decades. It's about time we get some proper models for them! Do you think they make those helmets with holes for the ears? Or would they get protective headsets?

Finally finished my Sisters Novitiate Killteam! After months of waiting and then a disastrous attempt at the slapchop method I decided that these ladies needed the full send treatment. So of course I had to do perhaps the most laborious paintjob I've ever done!

This fabric drape was a nightmare.

The Whip-Sister doesn't actually have an autopistol in-game, but dual wielding combat whips is a bridge too far even for me, so I gave her an autopistol. I wouldn't have put her in at all except that she combos so well with the Big Chainsword Sister.

And I LOVE how the reliquary turned out. Exactly the effect I was going for.

I am SO proud of these, I'm giving them a coat of matte clearcoat to make sure they stay pristine and then I am going to paint something that is NOT a GW model next, because for fuck's sake. I don't know if I will ever actually play Killteam but hey I've got my girls painted up and ready. The Tau Pathfinder half of the Chalnath box is NOT getting this level of attention, sorry Tau but I don't care about you that much.

Where are the initiates? A squad of Black Templars Scouts/Neophytes! Nice and easy unit to paint up for objective play.

On to the third member of the kt. I realised I'd also already done a mostly vanilla Theyn so this guy had to be a little weider. That's an AOS dwarf head there, because I'm very original. I bet you've never seen a LoV player do that huh? Something actually unventive was his power fist, which has one of the weird powered blades from an Einhyr on. You'd think that would be an easy switch but they're shaped different internally so it took some hollowing out. In retrospect I should have stuck to doing one or the other, I think he ended up my weakest model in the team.

Oh also his ass seam is lined with a gunpla marker as an experiment. I need a thinner one for my needs though tbh.

His colour is Gold
