This may be my most favorite T-shirt Tuesday post ever. I’m so in love with my sequin flip NASA tee from H&M. Not only am I obsessed with flipping it all the time, but it was a smash hit during Kids Week at the Intrepid Museum to the point where people were bringing their friends over to have me show it to them. It also helped attract kids to the Space Racers booth I was helping out at. (If you don’t know Space Racers, it’s an animated STEM show for kids 3-8 where all the characters are airplanes!) 

Sadly, the t-shirt no longer available but I’m hoping this is just the beginning of sequin flip tees that celebrate space!

• De Volkskrant 

“De Volkskrant is a left-leaning daily offering quality national and international news and opinion. It’s especially good on social issues and education, and has a great sense of humour (see the spoof Speld column on the back page). • NRC Handelsblad

• Trouw.nl

• Metro 

" This newspaper is a free daily handed out at all train and metro stations, stands on the side of the road, and convenience stores.  This paper is pretty mainstream and because it is meant to be read during a commute, it’s not particularly in depth.  You’ll find information on the most major news items of the day, including some pop culture news, a daily crossword, etc.  The paper is designed to be read by people from all levels of education, so it’s pretty straightforward.  If you’re just starting out with learning Dutch, this is a great place to start by just trying to read the captions under the pictures.
