Ahaha beh, mi sa che hai chiesto alla persona sbagliata allora, perché... io ho ottant'anni O.O! Jokes aside, from what I get, many young people here now use slang words from TikTok, which is not exactly my ideal place (no hate, it's just that I haven't really realized how to use it -it stresses me LOL).

The main thing atm is the "corsivo" speech, which happens for any gender in different ways (at least, from what I noticed also in music: masculine people tend to speak in the same tone, almost accentless makes me so sad -check Sangiovanni for example, I swear 70% of the young guys I had to interact with or heard on TV, had his same tone- while feminine add "i"s anywhere, but I linked you my only post about it :'D). Ofc, not everyone does this (luckily, let me add).

+ there are these posts I have written in the past and you can scroll through the #slang to check more: adoro | beccare | starci | a palla | pieno | botto | sbatti | sbatta | figata | a molla | pizza | stica | I had written this post but ofc many of the words there are not very used anymore or are too Regional (com'è, raga, limonare, farsi... these are some of those still used for example... I think LOL). Ofc there are Regional slangs too to take into consideration, but living near Milan makes it tougher for me to realize them cause we get a lot of influence from the city. Recently guys tend to call their besties "bro" or "fra"/"frate" (same as in English: brother/fratello; differently from the older generation, the accent has disappeared: was "fraté" sometimes, but I never heard about it anymore); while girls call their besties "amo" or better, in corsivo, "amio" (=amore, love). Rarely "sister" but I'm not sure. I think the old slang "raga" stays for mixed groups. A lot of the slang words originate from English these days and you can get more from music (especially trap music, which is the main genre going on between youngers).

Again y'all, I'm an oldie and I am not having too many deep interactions with young people these days (especially those using lot of slang), so... I'm leaving it up to y'all!

Decidit's Curse! Elder Faerie :D He's an Angel. Angels were created by the witches as a way to keep an eye on Earthbread, and there are three different types. Wanderers, Guides, and Guardians.

Wanderers would be like fairies or fae from legends. they don't really have a role other than to exist and watch over life for the witches. The Guides, which would be Silverbell, would have more direct interactions with cookies. Their job is to watch over the cursebearers, sometimes even interacting with them directly, though that is rare. They're also the most friendly. The Guardians are the executioners, defending against cursebearers and stepping in when they become too far gone. Mercurial Knight would be a Guardian.

Elder Faerie is the King of the Angels and thus, has four wings.

All Cursebearers, depending on how far along their curse is, have an instinctual dislike for angels.

I have a few things but it's likely mostly headcanons that I consider somewhat disconnected from my analysis.

Curly's parents had him old, only child, died shortly after he graduated and got the pony express position. It was the last big thing they saw him do which is a reason he stayed for so long.

Doesn't admit how much their death affected him

Jimmy has a largish family. One of the cases of too many kids to keep tract of, parent never really noticed any of them nor their behaviors

Anya lived in a lot of houses growing up, regular supportive family that just struggled to support themselves.

Became a nurse largely to avoid their financial struggles but mostly because she felt too many people weren't being cared for and advocated for in the world properly

Swansea likes high top sneakers most. Likes how snug they fit and how they shield his ankles at work

Curly has a bit of a caffeine problem since he can’t sleep. Can occasionally be found wandering the ship at “night” when he had some too late or just couldn’t sleep.

Daisuke knows a little about a lot of things. Starts conversations with “did you know” a lot but please don’t ask him deeper questions

Curly has known Jimmy longer but has worked with Anya and Swansea longer, met them during his middle years, met Jimmy shortly before college.

Swansea rents a house, Daisuke’s family lives in a big nice apartment, Curly has a condo, Anya live in a small one bedroom apartment and Jimmy has a studio.

Curly's home is very disconcerting. It's too normal to a like uncanny degree.

Anya is ambidextrous but prefers her left.

Anya and Curly are both not native English speakers so occasionally they forget words and bond over the mutual mocking they get from the rest of the crew. Daisuke knows some Japanese but is still learning, never picked it up as a kid

Only Swansea and Daisuke know how to drive, Earth in my mind is very post capitalist so only older people and like the extremely wealthy can afford cars.

It's also like walkable just due to how many businesses are in your face. Probably strict living vs shopping districts

I have more but the way that I headcanon about them is like too long.

While I'm not one for generational conflict cuz there's no war but the class war so to speak, I can't help but think that a "perfect millennial comedy routine" probably oughta consist of a little bit more substance than repackaged "kids use weird slang these days," along with askin to be given some common decency in accounta introducing Facebook and Instagram, plus also bein the boss.

Now folks I may just be a simple country baked salted ham, but it seems ta me that listin off four o the worst things in the world today ain't exactly any generation's idea of empathetic. Ain't a doubt in my mind we're more like than not cross put near three or four decades, jest sayin don't trust too well someone askin you to smile along while they insult ya and tell ya how ta act and they think ya oughta be quiet n grateful for a handful o garbage cuz they invented takin a shit.

I might be the last one to know this, which just made me realize in how many ways they were actually insulting and harassing Edwin as they sacrificed him, but learning Mary Ann was not just an insult for gay or effeminate men but also used for a young boy used as a catamite in prison or all male facilities just shed a whole other level of light on his complicated relationship with sex and touch. I also might have cried a little.
