Interesting way the 5 Union Leaders sit in comparison to the Foretellers.

Ephemer is sitting where Aced usually sits, while Skuld is sits in Ava's spot. Lauriam, who is absent, would normally sit in Gula's spot. Brain is now sitting the seat that was previously occupied by Invi, while Ventus has taken Ira's spot. This spot was originally meant for Strelitzia before she was brutally struck down by the darkness.

I'm kinda disappointed that the Foretellers are going to be villains, they're fascinating characters and I think that from what we know of them from Union Cross they'd work better as anti heros, or have good intentions and they just end up doing bad things. I'd like to see them get redeemed or just end up not being completely evil and loyal to the Master of Masters. Although I don't know if they're being pulled through time from before MoM left or after, if that's known please let me know. If they do know he left them, I think having them question their loyalty to him would give interesting depth to them, also having them find out what happened to Ava could send them over the edge and they start working with Sora in KH4.

In Union Cross they are in fact good people, I would say they are at least. They're scared of the darkness infecting their keyblade wielders and let's face it, if your boss/father figure/role model left you and your friends and said, "hey one of you is a traitor, eliminate them", you would also turn against each other. I mean they really are just scared kids trying to figure out what's best for them while also having absolutely no idea how to actually do what is best.

That's why I think they don't work as villains in their current state, if they're just following orders from someone they look up to, who to them knows all and has good intentions, how would they know what they're doing is bad? For all we know in KH4 they'll be told Sora is a user of darkness or something and that's why they'll fight him.

I also hope that they flesh out their characters more, because there is so much you can do with them that Union Cross and Back Cover didn't have time to explore. I'd love a full game of just them doing stuff because I think they have an interesting dynamic, and I'm counting Luxu into that as well. A Luxu game by itself seems necessary at this point, going through all of his different variations. It would certainly help clear stuff up on his backstory, and with that if at the beginning it was the original Luxu, maybe we'd get to see more of him interacting with the Foretellers and also the Master of Masters.

It would really be a missed opportunity to have these characters who will be villains have such little build up to them actually being villains, because if their reasoning is just "we're following our master's orders" I'll be disappointed.
