14- is it hard for your character to fall asleep?

not in the SLIGHTEST. i think this is purely an advantage to her being half qhat. that being said, she can only fall asleep if she's comfortable, and she likes to be curled up, entirely in the dark, and very warm when she's going to bed. one of my favorite hcs for her and bat is that he'll lay down and wrap her up under his wing so she has total darkness and warmth (:

it's also much easier for her to sleep during the day than it is at night. and waking her up is a total nightmare. do so at your own risk!

26- in a game of truth or dare, what would your character pick?

she's picking dare any day of the week. not only is she a wildcard that enjoys that kind of stuff, but she's not going to give anyone any chance to get her to divulge something she doesn't want to.

she's also a complete menace during truth or dare herself, and is always going to make the person she's playing with pay. this definitely stems from her never getting to do fun stuff like that while growing up and going... a little too hogwild with it.

45- how often does your character cry?

oh man... not often. she has a lot of trouble regulating and accepting her emotions, but she usually defaults to anger/hissing/whatnot rather than tears. growing up, she was taught as a hopeful member of marleybone's court that keeping herself poised and pretty was the best course of action, which didn't leave a lot of room for tears. that also helped her build up a lot of anger and resentment over the years.

that being said, if she does cry, she's almost always alone. and it almost always follows an outburst of anger that devolves into a very angry, emotional cry. i'd say this happens once every few months, just as a result of stress from her role as scion and all the trials and tribulations that come with it. someone catching her in that state is one of her biggest fears.

Congratulations to @sadkinggaming for coming up with Goobler for the Spiral equivalent of Google (because yes, the Gobblers are PEAK capitalist marketing mascot in-universe). This is what I needed to know that for btw.

Honorable mentions to @pinks-wizards for noting that it wouldn't be "the web" it'd be "the roots", to @khrysalisposting for spiral explorer instead of internet explorer, and for @dyvimwhitehart for firecat instead of firefox. You guys are all much smarter than me.

12: What kind of person can your character connect with?

Figuring out how to answer this question stumped me so hard. On the one hand, Nora in a vacuum is a rather social person. She enjoys reaching out to others, and will try to find some way to connect with anyone even if it's something as insignificant as sharing a single moment or listening to them speak or doing a favor. It's part of why Nora felt so at home in the Spiral at first, it was filled with people whom she felt she could connect with.

However nowadays,,, things are far more tense. First of all, Nora's reputation precedes her. Most people in the Spiral won't connect with her as Nora; they'll see her as the Wizard or any of her million other epithets or worse, as a villain who is supposed to be dead. Second, Nora has many traumas upon her shoulders that each contribute to her fear of reconnecting with folks in the Spiral outside of the Arcanum and some of her closest companions. She's used to the Spiral being dismissive of her (because of the whole reputation thing), she takes things too personally, she fucking DIED (basically) and had to claw her way out of the Abyss.

So in short... she can connect with anyone but it'll be FUCKING HARD.

She is working on it, though. Trying to reacclimate herself to being a person in the Spiral, trying to unlearn her hesitancies even though said trepidations protected her before. The Spiral is full of people, not prewritten NPCs anymore, which means there's hope for things to be better than they used to be.

29: Would your character ever drink pickle juice?

Sarah not only would, she regularly did before getting stuck in the Spiral. She acquired a taste for it in college. Though she doesn't drink it much nowadays in the Spiral, she does quite enjoy it still.

Someday i need to sit down and finish writing my headcanons for the CS Novus Governors bc Novus Doesnt Exist. What do you do when you exist but the world you are a main character for doesnt.

(Side note i fucking hate rottingham as a first name like i know what theyre going for it's a pun on rottweiler the dog breed but rottingham sounds like a place name, a surname. Not a firstname. It's such a petty grievance but rhaghegwhfh)
