sometimes i think about how utterly beautiful it is that Amano sensei made Squalo a rain. the perfect element to complement xanxus, being the only one that doesnt get scorched by his flames, being the only one that can at least attempt to calm him down. how beautiful

A fic idea, or smt like that.

Hibari can see ghosts, Fon probably can see them as well but he refuses to tell anyone, even the Arcobaleno just to mess with them.

The thing is, Hibari can see ghost and sometimes he can't tell the difference between living people and dead people so he'd stay silent most of the time and wait until others start to interact with them to make sure they're alive.

Long story short, when he first meets the first generation, he has no idea that they're spirits. The others are talking with them! G can even pretend to be Gokudera for a whole day and no one can tell! So when they just... fade away, he doesn't give it a second thought. Illusionists exist and they're all dramatic. This trick isn't that new.

Fast forward to 10 years later, Hibari can still see ghosts lingering around the corner of the streets, under the bridge,... He doesn't acknowledge them, and they don't know that he can see them, which suits him just fine. Until one day, when he's due to meet Tsuna in his office to turn in his report of the recent mission.

"Ah Daemon, is this... Elena?" the Sky's voice comes from behind the door.

"Yes, yes she is." Daemon replies as he opens the door and takes in the occupants in the office. There is a beautiful lady sitting next to Daemon on the sofa, gently leaning on the nobleman's shoulder.

"Ah, Kyouya! I assume you're here to turn in the report?" He wordlessly gives the Vongola's boss his file before turns back to greet Daemon and his lady. Tsuna always yaps about politeness and hospitality so much that he'd just do it so the Sky will stop.

"Good morning" he greets monotonously as he shakes Daemon's hand.

"And you as well" as he bows lightly to kiss Elena's hand.

But when he rises back up, everyone seems shaken up at his action.

Hmm? Are you not allowed to kiss a woman's hand in greetings? Reborn has told him it's the way of things.

"Wha- Who are you talking to, Kyouya?" Tsuna seems particularly scared.

"Hmm? To Elena?" He questions back, clearly not seeing the problem.

"The-there is no one there, Kyouya! What are talking about?" The Vongola boss sounds near hysterical now and even Daemon seems clearly dumbfounded, and... hopeful?

Ah. So Elena is a ghost. Interesting.

But troublesome, because both Daemon and Elena look like they're about to use him as their telephone.

What did Fon say about what to do in this situation anyway?

'If you ever get caught seeing ghosts Kyouya' Hibari's inner Fon's voice rings out 'just run'

Excellent advice.

The Vongola can't find their Cloud Guardian for the next 3 months, not until they contacts Fon, only to find that the skylark has been taking 'spiritual enhancing class' (learning how to beat up ghosts, exorcist way) with the martial artist.

When he comes back and learns that Daemon, as well as other Vongola First Generation they have met is trapped inside of the Vongola rings, their plane of existence is different to normal spirits. That's why Daemon can't see Elena and the illusionist is on his knees begging Hibari to help him speak to his past lover.

To which Hibari only says.

"Skill issue"

And disappears for the next 3 months, this time to exercise his skill in exorcism. (He, inevitably, fails, so he goes back to the business of making people becoming spirits, hitman style)

Today I headcanon the Straw Hats with what their flame type from Hitman Reborn would be. Since not everyone knows what the flame types of Hitman Reborn are, I’ll make a separate post later talking about them. Let’s get started:

• Luffy-Sky and Sun: Man draws everyone towards him, encompassing all like the sky, while also having a ton of sun motifs and lighting up peoples lives.

• Zoro-Storm and Lightning: Everyone’s favorite swordsman, Zoro destroys his enemies with relentless attacks, while also drawing them away from the rest of the crew.

• Nami-Cloud: Clouds float alone, only joining up to bring the rain, and no one does that better than Nami.

• Usopp-Mist: Striking from the shadows and from afar, hiding their allies from sight, Usopp is the perfect sniper.

• Sanji-Mist and Lightning: Sanji is great at sneaking around and also excellent at protecting his allies from harm.

• Chopper-Sun and Rain: A light that brings life to all and a flow that washes away the dust, perfect for a doctor intent on creating medicine for all diseases.

• Robin-Mist: An assassin that is also book smart, Robin is not afraid to shield those she loves.

• Franky-Storm: This cyborg brings the pain with a radical beam that is relentless in its destruction.

• Brook-Sun and Rain: At an angle of 45 degrees, our musically inclined skeleton brightens the day with a jaunty tune and washes away foes with an icy chill.

• Jinbei-Sun and Rain: He makes his allies happy, and is known for causing a flood to sweep away those who would threaten his friends.

That’s all of them. If you like Hitman Reborn, I would love to hear your thoughts about these headcanons and which ones you would recommend. Intuitive Conclusions (sharp teeth of truth) - 9 - Inheritance arc

He notices Enma's heavy flames curl. Even Enma can sense something off about his mother. But the more he watches the more Tsuna is confused.

His Intuition tells him his first answer was not complete.

Tsuna watches and tries to get Enma to relax more, as he usually would. Reborn is there, no space to interrogate his new acquaintance. His Intuition twitches. His new friend. His intuition twitches less, but still.

Well, his new something for certain.

It takes a while for Reborn to leave them alone and it's when they're doing homework. Tsuna has already logged the listening devices and a few cameras so he knows Reborn won't be able to see what he's writing.

He writes out a message to Enma and turns it over to him with a casual question. Enma leans over and while his face doesn't change as he reads, his flames do curl in unease an alarm.

He answers something bland, but writes down a possible meeting place in answer.

And so he has an appointment, with his new...something.

So here's the thing, I don't trust most of them with my life. Out of the ones I do:

Tsuna. I am 100% confident that he will throw hands to make sure I come out every situation alive (source: every time he throws hands). He would be very well-meaning and try his best to take care of both the cats and my succulents, but between Reborn and the general chaos of his life, I feel like they would get forgotten at times. Also just the concern that Reborn would use my cats as a learning opportunity for Tsuna is not unjustified

Also Thumper would eat Bianchi's Poison Cooking. Fucker (affectionate) fished a tomato out the taco I was ACTIVELY HOLDING the other night

He remembered that Clay was/is in IT (was it?? I can't remember) and somehow pulled him out of his ass to help. Now Clay also has to deal with this bullshit. (I had once HC'd Desmond as having Cloud/Lightning flames. Sun would be painfully obvious/hilarious but imagine what Desmond could do with both Hardening and Propagation.)

Clay was an engineering student and, depending on his major, he could have focused on hardware instead of software so he might be able to help with the specs and help to transfer Desmond and his little town (which has grown into a goddamn country and he had to deal with freaking grand strategy wargames, war/politics/economic strategy simulation and resource and time management mechanics when the other countries started attacking him).

It would be funny if Desmond’s mage advisor tells Desmond of a ‘how to summon a hero’ event and they do it and they get Clay just as he got deleted at the end of AC Revelations.

Desmond technically saved him but, now, Clay has to deal with this bullshit.

And tell Desmond he has a gambling addiction with those gachas.

KHR x AC headcanons:

Desmond having Sun would be freaking hilarious so maybe something like he’s primarily a Cloud Flame user but he has weak Sun Flame. Main character syndrome dictates he should have Sky though but the Bleeding Effect screams like a mix of Cloud and Mist XD

Ratonhnhaké:ton would initially look like a Storm but I personally think he’d be more of Lightning because, no matter what you throw at him, he doesn’t back down nor does he falter. Lightning’s Hardening would also help augment his already impressive strength.

Ezio feels like Sun or Rain to me, tbh. Maybe he’d be like Gokudera, primarily a Rain but with weak Sun and Storm to coincide with his character development. Although... Ezio being a Sky makes sooooo much sense.

Altaïr… okay… Altaïr feels like the kind of dude that would find some way to have access to all the Flames, to be honest. But… in many ways, Altaïr feels like a primary Cloud with access to Mist. Propagation is what he did with the Brotherhood in his tenure as the mentor and access to Mist would mirror his connection to the primarily illusion-based Apple.

If we're gonna keep putting Desmond in as The Isekai Protagonist then we should whole hog and add in the iconic System or Gamer System 'gift' so many other Isekai/Tensei Protags seem to get like it's the New Age Syphilis.

But with my own little twist I once proposed when I was more into KHR (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!) fandom though it never really caught on. Desmond's Gamer System functions like some other games instead of the usual adventure RPG. Maybe its one, maybe its some, maybe its all of them- either way, it's certainly not something like Pokemon or the Final Fantasy series.

Instead, it's like an idle game, a match 3, a rhythm game, or a merge game. Hell, the one time he got a bingo game; he won Mega Bingo, almost got brained by the giant chest full of gold and jewels, and then it never appeared before him again.

He did like the idle cat games though. (The cats were very cute. A bit hard to explain all the cats though.)

“New Age Syphilis” lollol. Yeah, let’s give Desmond the geek-syphilis. XD

Okay, okay, okay.

If we’re going for other genres, my first thought is the scourged of the land, the anti-christ of the modern gaming world:

Loot-boxes/Gacha-mechanics

And it’s the worst kind. The kind that does not give pity ‘roll’ or have the ‘if you roll 300 times, you can pick one of these choices because goddamn your rng sucks wtf???’.

And that’s not even the genre, no, no, no.

That’s the “REWARD”.

Even if Desmond clears something via idle game, match 3, etc, he still has to do a gacha roll to get his reward.

And, to make it more annoying for him, the world he is in right now, everything has different game mechanics and it’s a whiplash at times. Sometimes, it feels more like minigames which is fine. The idle cat game is really just Desmond relaxing for the day and playing with cats.

But then, there are instances where Desmond gets a headache because…

Car chase? Boom! Racing game controls and gameplay!

About to assassinate someone? QTEs! QTEs everywhere!

Desmond gets his own land? He suddenly has game notifications and tutorials for town-building mechanics.

There’s supposed to be some kind of monster infestations? Welp. Desmond, your town-building mechanics just got pushed for tower-defense mechanics. Oh, and the shit you can build? You guessed it! GACHA ROLLS!

Want to fuck with Desmond even more?

The tutorials are just pages and pages of what he can do like someone from Koei-Tecmo made the damn thing.

You know what would be funny?

If Desmond realizes that some of the rewards he gets from the gacha rolls are his ancestors, they’re the highest USSR/6Stars reward with a probability of 3%. Goodbye slacker life, it’s time for Desmond to grind for those Isu shards just to get some sweet, sweet rolls.

(Nobody tell him that there are also Holiday alts that have a possibility of 1%)

It would be funny (in the worst possible way) if Desmond gets a final notification just when he has a very cozy life in this world and it’s:

“Thank you for playing [REDACTED]. Due to lack of interest, [REDACTED] will be ending its live-services at exactly 180 days. All data will be deleted and there are no plans to create backups. Thank you for understanding.”

And now the final arc of Desmond’s story in this world begins:

Desmond needs to find a way to create a private server from inside the game. XD

Ok, chart time. KHR Undying Will Flames into divided into a cohesive whole (Pretty sure somebody already did this like this)

So we have 3 axis under the Sky (which would be Sky Flames / Unity)

So the X axis is the axis of Reality: Storm and Mist flames represent everything that is, that could be and isn't.

The Y axis is the axis of Change: Lighting and Rain flames are everything that changes and everything that doesn't.

And the the Z axis is the Axis of Replication (I guess it should be named Parallel): Basically, it just represents every possible configuration of anything that can exist. Cloud and Sun flames multiply stuff in different ways with a lot of room for variation and evolution.

These axis represent the world, Reality affects Space, Change affects Time and Replication affects Parallels.

So, the Trinisette

The Mare Sky ring controls Replication, and it lets the user get to see parallel realities and go insane through overload.

The Sky arcobaleno gets Change, that let's her see the future, we'll not really, Yuni got that from her family... I think. The arcobaleno get transformed into babies though.

The Vongola sky ring get Reality, so they get to see every other user of the ring since their creation. Apparently, they can also be reforged, cool.

Anyways, an idiot would think that getting the trinisette would let him change the world. It probably wouldn't.

BTW I might be insane, don't know how much if this actually holds up to close inspection. It's 1 am and I'm very hyper.

As promised, the flame types of Hitman Reborn.

Sky flames - Characteristic: Harmony •Users of this flame are known to possess great insight, are generally the leaders of the group, and are known for accepting everyone.

Storm flames - Characteristic: Disntegration •Users of this flame are often hot heads and stubborn. They generally are the most offensive of their group, and the most destructive.

Rain flames - Characteristic: Tranquility •Users of this flame are calm and collected, serving as the mediators of the group. They are most known for washing away the conflicts that occur.

Sun flames - Characteristic: Activation •Users of this flame are the light of the group and provide joy to others. Someone them are also the doctors of the group, and are generally known for taking on threats with their own body.

Lightning flames - Characteristic: Hardening •Users of this flame act as lightning rods, pulling threats away from the group. They are also extremely tough, acting as a shield for their allies.

Mist flames - Characteristic: Construction •Users of this flame are secretive and aid the group by creating distractions to prevent enemies from finding them. They are also good at information gathering and can keep the enemy from figuring out what the group does and doesn’t know.

And last but not least

Cloud flames - Characteristic: Propagation •Users of this flame tend to be aloof and withdrawn from the group, but will act when their leader calls upon them. They help the protect the family by increasing the amount of attacks the enemy has to deal with.

These are just the basics, and there’s more to them, but this shall suffice for now.
