idk if i have a good reason for peryite "deserving" his grueling work in oblivion, other than other daedric princes just, idk disliking him on principle for being a party pooper and keeping mundus and oblivion separate (as best he can)? like i get that maybe's it's about the khanaten flu but also im pretty sure the quote comes from a daedra and quite frankly why the fuck would they give a shit about the khanaten flu or any disease mortals are afflicted with for that matter

i ended up getting really attached to my family from my previous elder kings ra’athim playthru. king mertis, his four children rilver, athysea, moraelyn and almos. rilver was meant to be the heir and had a different mother than the last three, but athysea was by far the most competent and ended up netting an heir to house redoran as spouse, became a duchess and made some very good decisions for the sake of the family, and was also a formidable warrior with one arm. moraelyn was a promising warrior but died young in an accident, and almos as youngest wasn’t entirely concerned with politics and preferred focusing on business and merchanteering. sadly rilver and athysea died of khanaten flu, so almos ended up inheriting anyway and it made him very miserable :(
