Fox
Summary: Kevin Alvarez is crushing on a certain Fox football reporter.
To say you loved your job was an understatement. You practically breathed sports and talking was something you couldn’t stop doing, so naturally being a Fox sports reporter was out of the question. You loved commentating on games and adding a little spice of your Mexican culture to it. Everybody loved you and you quickly became a fan favorite and one of America’s sweethearts. Thanks to all the support, you were here in Qatar for the 2022 World Cup.
Today, you were commentating on Mexico v Poland with your Fox partner, Tom. You were so excited and ready to root for your home country. The whole time you were on the edge of your seat, waiting for Mexico to score. Unfortunately, that never arrived, but your hope was not extinguished as you left the air with a final hopeful message to Mexico for their next game.
“Well, despite no goals, this was quite an interesting game as we got a little taste of what’s to come in Group C. Of course, San Ochoa saves the day. He truly is el señor de los cielos. However, I couldn’t keep my eyes off of Alvarez. He definitely seems to be rising up to the plate, I sense this will be a great World Cup for Mexico.” You say, passing it on to Tom.
—-----------------------------------------
It was now 12 am in Qatar and you were exhausted. When you reached your hotel room, you took a well-deserved shower and hopped onto twitter. You were showered with the usual love, and the occasional hate tweets, but something caught your attention. An article published by TMZ: Mexican Football Star, Kevin Alvarez, Dating Fox Reporter, (Y/N) (Y/L/N)?!
Your eyes widened as you quickly clicked on the article link and sure enough, a video clip was attached to the article. You pressed play and watched as the football player was bombarded by flashing lights and random questions.
“Kevin! Kevin! Kevin! Any news on a girlfriend?” The paparazzi frantically asked. You saw a small smile form on his face as he opened and closed his mouth, as if fighting the words threatening to come from his throat.
“Ask (Y/N) (Y/L/N).” He said with a smirk and then made a mad dash to his hotel. The video ended there, and you were greeted with a blank screen. You caught your own reflection, wide mouthed and shocked. Like a ripple wave effect, your tweets instantly become Kevin Alvarez related as fans questioned your relationship status. To be honest, you weren’t mad at all. He was quite handsome, and you wouldn’t mind it if he was your boyfriend.
Speaking of the devil, you got a DM notification from him on Instagram. You hesitated for a second but opened it, it read:
Hey, I know you probably saw that TMZ video, I really hope that didn’t upset you. I don’t really know why I said that. If I’m being honest, I have had a crush on you since forever. I understand if you never want to speak to me. I’m really sorry if I messed things up with you.
Your heart was beating so fast and even if this was all happening online, you were blushing like mad. You stared at his message for what felt like hours, trying to come up with a good response. Should you be playful, play hard to get, be easy? The only thing you knew was that this guy was cute, and you wouldn’t mind spending some time with him. So, you responded:
Haha, don’t worry about it. I totally get it. You didn’t mess anything up, I would love to hang out some time, but don’t you have a World Cup to worry about?
You practically screamed and kicked your legs like a teenage girl when you hit the send button. Just as quickly as you sent it, you got another notification.
Nah, I’m more worried about you. I think about you all the time.
Please I don’t know if these are shitty, I’m just writing like crazy now!

Not Too Late
-PAIRING: Diego Lainez x reader
-SUMMARY: You finally decide to move on from Diego after liking him for quite a long time, only for him to confess that he has feelings for you.
-CONTAIN: Semi-angst, but happy ending
-WORDS: 927
-SONG REC: Softcore by The Neighbourhood
-A/N: hopefully you like this second one shot, it's a lot but I quite enjoyed writing it don't forget to REQUEST any ideas you want me to do for future one shots! ENJOY!
You and Diego have been friends since you were kids, you guys grew up with each other. He was your best friend and you were his, he always knew he can rely on you for everything and vice versa.
That's all you'll ever be, nothing more just his best friend.
You liked him because aside from being attractive, he was caring, funny, kind and protective of you. You enjoyed watching him practice because he was extremely competitive, but it was mostly because he would take off his shirt mid practice, and you would be blushing like crazy. Or during his soccer match after he scored a goal he would look at you in the midst of the crowd and smile at you, while you stare at him proudly, cheering him on.
However, you had to remind yourself, you'll be nothing more than his best friend. So, you decided to move on, you went on a couple dates with one of your close friends, who was interested in you, you didn't shut down his offer and went for it.
You were hanging out with Diego and Kevin at Diego's house, you were sitting on the edge of the pool, while Kevin and Diego swam.
"I think we should go to the club tomorrow, no?" Kevin said floating in the water. Diego agreed to his invitation, he looked at you and swam to you. "Come with us tomorrow." Diego said as he got near you, you thought about it, but shook your head.
"I can't." He looked at you confused, you don't deny his invitation. "Porque?" Kevin looked at you waiting for your response. (Why)
"I'm going on a date." You replied, you felt his eyes on you. Kevin looked at Diego, you hesitantly looked over at Diego and he had an unreadable expression. Almost as if he was not expecting it or quite displeased with your response.
"I'll leave you guys to it." Kevin got out the pool and made his way inside his house quickly. Diego got out the pool sitting next to me on the edge, you and Diego sat down in silence next to each other. You were too nervous to look at Diego, so you stared at your feet that was playing with the water.
"It's your first time going on a date." You shook your head, he looked at you, but you still weren't staring at him. "So for how long have you been going on dates with this guy?"
"For awhile-"
"And you didn't plan on telling me?" He was mad. You didn't know if he was mad because he was angry at the fact that you kept it from him or if he was jealous. "I didn't think it mattered." You replied.
He scoffs and stands up walking away from you, you were confused, so you stood up walking towards him. "Why are you mad?"
"Because I don't like it." You stopped walking and your heart was beating super fast. "You don't like what I'm confused-" He stops walking and cuts you off.
"I don't like the fact that you're going on dates with some other guy," He turns around to look at you, and you stood there in shock, unable to reply. "I like you, like a lot and I know I may be a bit too late, I'm sorry that I didn't tell you sooner."
"Diego-"
"You are the person who always puts a smile on my face every time I see you. You make me so happy, and I don't want to lose you at all. I was going to ask you if you wanted to be my girlfriend today, I was scared you didn't feel the same way, but fuck it I don't care anymore." He said everything so fast, that it took you awhile to process everything he said. That's all you ever wanted to hear come out of his mouth that he liked you.
"It's okay if you don't feel the same way-" You cut him off by calling his name, and he was breathing heavily. You stand closer to him, since you guys were quite far from each other. He looked at you and glanced at your lips. "I like you a lot too and I would love to be your girlfriend." You tell him with a huge smile on your face.
He had the biggest grin once you said those words, he grabs your face gently with both his hands pulling you in for a kiss. You wrap your arms around your neck getting closer to him, and he moves his hand around your waist pulling you close to him. You moan into the kiss and he takes the opportunity to put his tongue in your mouth. You pull on his hair a bit making him groan. You heard clapping and cheering, and you quickly pulled away from the kiss. Diego's lips were swollen and yours too, you both looked up at Kevin staring down at the both of you, from his room.
"YA ERA HORA," Kevin said and it made the both of you laugh. "I TOLD YOU SHE LIKED YOU PENDEJO." You looked at Diego and he looked annoyed at Kevin putting him on blast. (IT'S ABOUT TIME)(IDIOT)
"YA VETE POR FAVOR." Diego said and Kevin shook his head laughing walking back into his room. (PLEASE LEAVE)
You both looked at each other and he gave you a quick peck making you giggle. "Now let's tell him you won't be going on any dates anymore." You laugh at how jealous he was and gave him a kiss.
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。..・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。..・。.・゜
I hope you guys like this one shot it is a bit long, but I hope you enjoyed it. Definitely REQUEST me what you want me to write any football player! next one shot will be a smut 😏

They are talking in real life. I should’ve been more specific when I requested it
I’m sorry. I hope you have a good day 🫶🏻🫶🏻
I'D BE YOURS IF YOU'D ASK. (kenan yildiz x reader)
summary : in which y/n ghosts the turkish footballer during their "situationship" whilst talking to another football player
face claim : no-one
notes : thank you for requesting !! lets pretend the copa america isnt going on at the same time as the euros lmao
pairings : kenan yildiz x reader , angsty fluff (?)
Y/n was familiar with the game of footballers. The heartbreak you'd get from talking with football players and then getting ignored out of nowhere, also known as ghosting. After multiple failed "talking stages" and "situationships" with various football players from all around the world, Y/n decided it was her turn to become the so-called ghoster. She enjoyed the sense of control and power it gave her.
As of June 2024, Y/n had been talking with a Turkish footballer named Kenan for about three months. After those three months, there was an undeniable change in the mood. She felt the conversations fade away, the replies becoming drier. After three months, you’d expect their relationship to progress, but instead, it felt like things were regressing.
A week had passed since she ghosted Kenan. She didn't choose the ideal time because the Euros were about to start. She thought maybe her absence would go unnoticed, or that Kenan would be too busy to care. But the truth was, she couldn’t handle the idea of being ghosted again. She took the first step to protect herself.
Kenan realized they hadn't talked in about a week while he was training for the Euros. The days were packed with intense practice sessions, team meetings, and strategy discussions. It wasn't until he had a quiet moment to himself that he noticed the absence of Y/n's messages. He checked his phone, scrolling through their last conversation, dated seven days ago.
He tried to brush off the feeling that she was ignoring him. Maybe she was just busy, maybe he was overthinking it. But as the days passed, he found himself missing her more than he expected. It wasn't just about the attention from her; it was the connection they shared, her way of always bringing his mood up, her way of cheering him up after a loss, the way she made him laugh, and how he could talk to her about anything going on in his life. He realized that he liked her much more than other friends do. He had a crush.
Even while training, Kenan's thoughts kept returning to Y/n. He made an effort to concentrate on the game, but it was difficult. What if she was truly over him? The thought of her abandoning him hit me like a blow to the stomach. Was she talking to another guy? Did she already have a boyfriend? Throughout the training, the worst-case scenarios couldn't stop forcing their way into his mind.
The day of the Georgia vs. Turkey game eventually arrived. Kenan decided to overlook the Y/n incident and concentrate on the match. However, he saw her in one of the VIP boxes as soon as he entered the field, he noticed her talking and giggling with a fellow football player, Kevin Alvarez. A wave of jealousy hit him. Why had she and Kevin come here? Is she trying to make me jealous? Is this some kind of game to her?
Kenan's attention split between the action on the field and Y/n in the crowd during the entire game. Kenan felt that Kevin was taking advantage of her companionship a bit too much. Knowing she was right there, laughing and giggling with someone else, made it difficult to focus.
Despite the distraction, Kenan played well and helped his team to win over Georgia. As the final whistle blew, he couldn't wait any longer. Eager to find out, he ran straight for the VIP box.
Kenan said "Y/n," as he walked up to her. Surprised to see him, she turned round, facing him. "Can we talk?"
Nodding, she followed him out of sight into a more peaceful area. "What's up, Kenan?"
He asked again, his irritation rising to the surface, "What's up? Why aren't you talking with me? And what's going on between Kevin and you?"
Y/n raised an eyebrow. "Kevin? We're just friends. What is your problem?"
"My problem? What is MY problem?! You ghosted me, Y/n. One day we're talking, and the next, nothing. Then I see you here with him, giggling, flirting like everything's fine. Like i"
"Look, every time I get into a so-called 'talking stage,' it always ends with me feeling like I'm bothering the person in question and never in a successful relationship. All I was doing is giving you space."
"Space?" Kenan frowned deeper. "I didn't ask for space. I wanted to talk to you. Instead, you left me hanging, making me think I did something wrong."
Y/n moved reluctantly, her eyes glancing away for a while before returning to his. "I am sorry Kenan. It wasn't my goal to hurt your feelings."
Kenan's jaw tightened, showing his simmering displeasure beneath the surface. "But why didn't you talk it out with me? We could have solved the problem, together."
Kenan shook his head, a mix of exasperation and relief flooding him. "Y/n, I like you. A lot. Seeing you with Kevin… it drove me crazy."
Her gaze eased as she turned to face him. "Kenan, I'd be yours if you'd ask. However, you have to understand that I can't deal with the constant unpredictability of our relationship."
Kenan held her hand in his. "Okay. So, I want to be your official boyfriend. I want to spend time with you, I want to take you out on dates, I want you to wear a jersey with MY name and MY number. I want a real relationship with you—not just a situationship or talking stage, an actual relationship."
As he was about to finish his sentence, Y/n hugged him. "Finally."
The tension slowly began to release as they stood there. They finally understood that they both wanted the same one thing: each other.
im hoping this is what you imagined while requesting, if not just lmk i can change anything <3

Antonio x reader (if you do them, don’t worry if not!!). Antonio helping the reader/whoever through a panic attack
Sorry this took a while! I just didn’t want to mess it up. Also yeah, not a [reader] fic, an OC instead. Hope you like it!
Antonio helps a fellow officer through a panic attack
A grin breaks out on Eve’s face when she recognizes the two approaching officers.
“Dawson and Atwater, Intelligence.”
“MacNamara and my partner, Dallas.”
“Hey Eve!”
She chuckles as Kevin walks up to give her a hug, “Hey Kevin. Hey Antonio.”
“Neil working on those threes?” Antonio laughs as Eve rolls her eyes at Kevin’s question.
“That he is.”
“What do you have for us?” Antonio prompts, peeking through the door behind Eve curiously.
“Call came in about a robbery in progress,” Eve explains, leading the Intelligence officers into the house, “DOA is Edward Alvarez. His file is flagged to notify Intelligence, so…”
She trails off as they come upon the two bodies that lay on the floor of the hall, shattered glass and frames around them.
She lets them take in the scene before motioning for them to follow her to the basement door while MacNamara explains, “We heard them downstairs. Offender came out shooting. Gave chase, but they had a car waiting nearby.”
In the basement, Eve points to a bloodstain on the wall and floor next to a heavy steel door, “They left someone behind down here. He’s at Lakeshore now.”
“What is this?” Kevin muses as he and Antonio lead the way in. Eve and Joe hadn’t gone far in except to clear the room in order to preserve the scene, but now they follow them in, curious.
Eve stands by Joe in the corner as they watch them take a look around the room.
“What’s that?”
She looks over as her partner points his light at a something and walks over to it. But then, a hiss and a clang startles all of them into looking at the door, which has just shut them all in.
Eve runs up to the door and starts pushing at it, feeling along the sides for a handle or a latch, anything, to open it up again.
“Shit,” she mutters when nothing works. She takes a deep breath, trying to slow her racing heart, and steps back. The bottom of her shoe sticks as she moves. She shines her flashlight down and sees the blood on the floor. The air gets trapped in her throat and a shiver darts up her spine.
The others are speaking behind her.
“No cell reception,” Kevin says, holding up his phone screen for everyone to see.
“Radio’s out,” Dawson said, clicking his radio a few times.
“They know we’re here, though, right? I mean, ME and crime lab should be on their way, and, our statements…” MacNamara trails off.
As MacNamara’s voice was getting quieter, a thump, thump, thump, was sounding in Eve’s ears and getting louder.
“Yeah, definitely,” Kevin’s voice cuts into the rhythmic thumping in her ears.
“Our sergeant knows we’re here. Plus if he doesn’t show, he’ll be expecting Kev and me soon anyway.” Antonio adds.
Anything said next is lost to her ears as Eve rubs the blood on her shoe against the floor, and continues shining her light on the door, trying to find a way out and ignore her pounding heart.
As she feels around again, she sees her hands trembling, the beam of light coming from the flashlight in her grip quivering. As her eyes track the beam of light, her vision begins to blur. She brings shaking fingers up to her eyes and rubs at them, feeling her fingers slip against the moisture on her face.
It’s too hot in here, there’s no air. Eyes squeezed closed, she yanks against her vest harshly, successfully getting the vest half-off as the trembling makes its way down to her legs. Suddenly a numb feeling spread up through her toes. As her legs give out from under her, she feels hands against her shoulders, and she does not crash to the floor like she expects, but is gently lowered. The hands leave and she opens her eyes to see Antonio in front of her, concern clear on his face. Her heart pounds faster, harder. She tells herself to take a deep breath, but she can feel them coming too sharp and shallow. Her vision begins to tunnel, blackness creeping in as a thought travels through her mind.
“I’m dying. I’m going to die here.” In front of my partner and my superiors.
“No Eve. Eve you’re not dying. You’re safe. You’re having a panic attack. It will pass. You’re safe.”
She brings her hands up to pull against her vest again, ripping it off so it slides off her to her side.
“Eve, you’re okay. I’ve got you.” Antonio’s hands come into her view steadily, “Is it okay if I touch you?”
She nods as tears continue to stream down her cheeks. He smiles at her gently and takes a hold of her hands in his.
“Focus on breathing. Take deep breaths, okay.”
She tries to pull in a deep breath, but it’s hard, the air hiccuping in her chest. A sob tears out of her and she screws her eyes closed tight.
“Hey, it’s okay.” Antonio squeezes her hand, “You’re okay. You’re safe. I’m right here with you.”
She opens her eyes as Antonio lays one of her hands against her stomach, “Breathe with me, alright? Breathe in.” He pauses, “Breathe out. You can do this. Breathe in-”
She pulls in ragged breath, after ragged breath, trying to match his words, all the while he continues the pattern, and breathes with her.
“There we go. Good job, Eve.” As her breaths come a bit slower and deeper than before, she feels her belly moving beneath her hand in time with the breaths, and she focuses on that movement.
“You’re doing great,” Antonio rubs her shoulder comfortingly, “Has this happened before?”
Shame fills Eve as she thinks back to the last time she’d had an attack like this, years ago. She lowers her eyes to the floor and nods, tears filling her eyes again.
“It’s okay. What do you need? Do you have medication?”
She shakes her head, regretting it as an ache begins to make itself known in her skull.
“Okay,” Antonio looks up quickly as she feels vibrations, something pounding against the wall at her back.
MacNamara’s voice, a bit unsteady, yells to whoever is pounding against the door, “We’re in here-”
He’s cut off, and Kevin’s voice, more calm, replaces his, “We can’t figure out how to open the door, Sarge.”
Eve’s attention is directed back to Antonio as he speaks to her again, “See, we’re fine. You’re fine. You’re safe.”
This time, the words have her nodding. She’s still shaking, she can feel the exhaustion in her shoulders and her chest, and she feels anxious.
She begins to fidget, but she doesn’t want to get up just yet, just breathe.
“You feeling better?” Antonio asks her. She nods, and feels her face heat up a bit, this time in embarrassment for what had just happened.
“I’m sorry, that was,” she pauses and focuses on taking a deep breath again.
“No. You have nothing to be sorry about.” He rubs her shoulder and smiles sincerely, “You know who should be sorry? Neil. He got Diego hooked on that one videogame.”
“Portal Knights, right?” Eve asked with a chuckle.
“Yeah, that one.” Antonio laughs.
“Neil loves that game. He was so happy when Diego started playing it with him, too.”
“Yeah. He’s always building something new on that.”
They both look up when the door finally opens.
Kevin quickly thanks the officers and Sergeant Voight and, with a nod and a smile to Antonio and Eve, motions for them to follow him, taking them and their curious looks away from Eve.
Her partner is standing uncertain at the door, waiting for her.
“You ready to get out of here?” Antonio asks, holding a hand out for her.
“Yes, please.”
He helps her to her feet, and, with her partner following, they make their way out of the house.
It felt good to move and walk around. The fresh air was really helping.
Antonio stays by her side as she continued to breathe in the fresh air.
“Eve.” She looks over at him and her partner as he holds out a bottle of water for her.
She accepts it gratefully, and takes a few sips. She was now feeling extremely exhausted, and it must have showed.
“Wait here, okay?” Antonio said, walking over to Sergeant Voight.
She watches him, wondering what he’s doing. She is surprised when Voight motions MacNamara over to them.
Antonio jogs back over to her, “Okay. Eve, would you like me to drive you home? I explained to my Sergeant. MacNamara’s statement will do for now. He suggests you take it easy and head home.”
She thinks about it. She was so tired, and going home sounded like heaven right now, “Yes, please.”
“Alright, let’s go.”
In his car, as he starts it up and adjusted the A/C for her, she grabs his attention, “Antonio, thank you.”
“You’re welcome, Eve.”

Ballet
Summary: Reader is a ballerina
When you first told Kevin about your ballerina career, he would not stop teasing you about the tutu. You weren’t sure why, but he would always get a kick out of mentioning your lack of tutus.
“You don’t always have to wear a tutu, Kev,” you would say, trying to explain to him that a leotard was just enough. He chuckled, raising his hands up in defense.
“I’m just saying, a ballerina wouldn’t be a ballerina without her tutu.” He would say, laughing to himself as you huffed, a visible breath leaving your mouth. Although a smile creeped up on your face hearing how loudly his own joke made him laugh. The both of you were walking down fifth avenue in New York City. The sides of the streets were mounted by snow, as the snowflakes continued to softly land on the floor. The both of you were bundled up with coats and scarfs, hands stuffed in warm gloves. Kevin insisted on joining you for your private ballet practice and you couldn’t say no. I mean, you loved the idea of combining two things you loved
You guys finally reached your ballet studio, the warm atmosphere prompting you guys to remove all layers. You loved private lessons because it was just you, well now it was just you and Kev, which is honestly even better. He watched as you laced up your ballet slippers, the pink ribbon intertwining against your white tights. He thought you looked so cute in your ballet outfit. You stood up and made your way to the ballet bar to stretch. Kev followed you like a lost puppy. You began stretching your legs, showing Kev just how flexible you really were.
“I would love to see you do that in the bedroom.” He teased. You laughed, playfulling rolling your eyes. “You're gross,” you jokingly replied.
“Do you want to try?” You asked, challenging him.
“Easy peasy.” He said, coming up next to you at the ballet bar. He tried to follow your moves but gave up quickly, saying that he was a boy with boy anatomy and so he couldn’t do what you were doing. You laughed at him, knowing that had absolutely nothing to do with his lack of flexibility.
“Okay, just sit over there and watch me.” You say, as you walk towards the stereo, clicking play on your practice music. Kevin sat down on the mats placed in the very corner of the room. You got on your tippy toes, twirling and hopping to the music. Your arm and back muscles moved perfect and beautifully. You were so concentrated on yourself that you had forgotten that Kev was still here with you.
“Wow, that was fucking amazing.” He said when the music was over, you jumped a bit, startled by his presence. You placed your hand on your heart and smiled softly at him.
“Thank you, Kev.” You said, standing up and pecking him on the lips. He wrapped his arms around you and deepened the kiss. On your way home, he would not stop talking about how much of a beautiful dancer you were. Honestly, you were just glad he had forgotten all about that tutu stuff.
