getting some boring quests done on rs while i feel sick and have little brainpower or physical energy for anything else

anyway

initially during desperate times, it felt goofy the characters don't try to reason with gail, considering the only reason they do the charos hunt is because they need someone to convince the elder artifact to put the elder gods back to sleep

but

gail's dialogue indicates that she may not have approved of the plan, anyway. like. i still think world guardian should've talked to her (kerapac did rush to attack tho, and she was clearly horrified by his dragonkin device). but like. she did seem to dislike what the characters wanted to do with the needle. questions abound as to whether it would've been because kerapac had different intentions, and he was trying to enact them, or if any use of the needle against its purposes would have been something she's not OK with as the guardian of the needle
