Baizhu: Whenever the cold winters of Liyue roll around, Baizhu has to make sure that both him and Changsheng are cozy because if they don't. They both can fall ill very quickly. Baizhu normally wraps a scarf around his neck so both him and Changsheng are warm due to the fact that Changsheng normally wraps around Baizhu's neck

Beidou: Since Beidou wears an eyepatch, a lot of people have made theories on what's behind it. Is it just a regular eye? Does she have a terrible scar underneath? Is it due to a battle? Who did she fight? Spoiler alert: It's the first one, but she always gets a laugh out of the really crazy ones

Chongyun: Chongyun is secretly really good at checkers. He takes pride in it along with embarrassment since he has no clue how to play chess

Ganyu: Ganyu absolutely loves the quiet and hates loud noises, but there's this one sound that she will forever despise, and that is windchimes. Every time she hears them, she just wants to rip it off of the ceiling and break all the metal bars in half. Of course, she never does, but she'll immediately leave if she hears it. Heaven forbid someone gets her a windchime as a present

Hu tao: Being a director of a funeral parlor and talking with ghosts for a long time somewhat impacts your vision on mortals, so Hu tao has grown a sixth sense of reading people. She can tell whether they're lying, worried, or pretending to be fine whenever they are fuming with anger. Sometimes, it gets a bit bad that she misses out on social cues

Keqing: With the large amount of paperwork Keqing puts on herself, she offen gets hands cramps. Sometimes, they get so bad that she has to take a break for a few minutes so the bones of her hands don't feel like they're about to break apart

Ningguang: Since Ningguang is the richest person in Tevyat, she occasionally spends her mora on random items just for the fun of it. Her favorite items she's bought over the recent years are candles. She's grown so attached to it that she's started up a collection

Qiqi: Since Qiqi needs a notebook to remember everyone she's met, Yaoyao decided one day that she would help Qiqi with the notebook, decorating it in cute stickers, highlighters, doodles, and occasional photographs

Shenhe: Shenhe has dissociative amnesia, specifically generalized. This means that she offen forgets where she went, what she did, who she spoke to, what she experienced, or even who she is

Xiangling: Xiangling, being the spicy cook herself, she doesn't actually check how much spices she puts in her food for the customers. Does she still use measuring cups? Yes, but sometimes they can be a bit overfilled

Xiao: When all of the yakshas were still around. Normally, the girls would help Xiao with his red eye makeup, only after they died tragically. The last yaksha had to learn how to do his own makeup, to say it was hard... was an understatement. Xiao eventually went to Zhongli for help, the geo archon being met with a sad Xiao, looking at the floor with messy red eye makeup. Don't worry, Zhongli taught Xiao, and he got the hang of it

Xingqiu: Xingqiu secretly has a condition called vasovagal syncope, which means that his body makes him pass out whenever he gets injected with a needle. Before, he thought he had a fear of needles, but when he saw Baizhu about it, he told the young writer that he actually had vasovagal syncope. Which made much more sense to Xingqiu afterward

Xinyan: Xinyan secretly loves having fun on playgrounds, but especially the swings. Whenever she comes across a playground with swings, she'll immediately stop what she's doing, run up, and try to get as high as she could

Yanfei: When in the chasm with the rest of the group, Yanfei actually got slight burn scars when fighting off those enemies due to how hard she was hitting her fireball

Yaoyao: You would expect Yaoyao to be another one of those kids whose toys are all dirty from dragging them around in the mud or one of those kids who forgets their stuffed animal, but Yaoyao is the complete opposite! She always double checks that Yuegui is in her basket, and she doesn't have to worry about Yuegui getting dirty since it's easily washable

Yelan: Whenever Yelan gets bored from time to time, getting stuck dealing with paperwork instead of going out on fun adventures. She'll train her hand to do neat tricks with her pen. She's gotten so good at it to the point where she'll zone out while her fingers mechanically rapidly spin around her pen

Yunjin: The reason why Yunjin's stage is normally warm colors with lantern lights in the background is because she can't stand flashing lights. It makes her feel dizzy, and she can never concentrate

Zhongli: Being an archon, over the years, Zhongli has come to be an expert in fashion. Just take a look in the history books and see some of the outfits he's worn! People have sometimes begged him to let him help them with fashion, but that's Zhongli's secret talent and only his. No if's or but's

Hello, Keqing. I just want to take this opportunity to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for carrying my sorry self amidst many hardships when I was.. just starting out. Ah.. you might not get what I mean, but still, I wanted to thank you.

[I feel like Keqing has always been looked down upon just because she's a standard banner character, but man, she carried my 🍑 until AR45 - when I finally got Xiao on his release. Even still, I use her on tough challenges because I know she will never fail on having my back. Thank you, Keqing! And yay! C6!]

to be the yuheng of the qixing is to resign yourself to being near permanently busy, always with either a stack of papers or a pen in hand. and as keqing hurries to bu’yun, the usual password system forgotten for one of liyue’s most recognizable, she’s more than aware of this fact.

her foot taps on the stone platform bringing her up to the jade chamber, the journey never seeming to go quickly enough. the sun had set, and yet she still wasn’t finished. part of her wants to flip through the folder in her hand to get a start on her assignment, but the majority of her brain scolds her that she could drop some of the precious documents and have to wait for the journey all the way back down to collect them- and then all the way back up to continue her work.

to be the yuheng is to be busy, and keqing fit the definition to a T.

yet, when she steps onto the stone of the jade chamber, she pauses. a bright floating ball awaits her, one that doesn’t display any clear origin. it doesn’t seem mechanical or elemental, nor of adeptal origin…

she takes two quick steps and picks it from the air, surprised at the fragility of the structure. it breaks beneath her fingers, the pieces dissipating into fine dust even as she tries to hold it together. in the end, she’s left with an envelope in hand and a small box that had fallen thankfully into the space between her side and her folder.

keqing sighed, but picked up the box and walked inside, heading straight for her office.

she dropped off the folder with another secretary and shut her door, opening the letter swiftly. worst case, this was a security breach. best case…

whatever she had in mind for ‘best case’ was wrong.

she wasn’t one to kiss up to gods and was more than willing to point out their flaws, as critical of them as she was of humanity. and yet, she cannot find fault in your letter. she was there for you, and had watched you get a better handle on utilizing vessels as you guided the traveller through their journey. you had helped her, and she had done her best to reciprocate in kind.

and yet, as she opens your giftbox and tries one of the candies, she can’t help but feel like she got the better end of the deal. perhaps when her workload was lighter, she could work out a way to return your kindness.

# xiao has seen it all. from the monsters he had slain, to the cries of desperate mortals, to the quietude of his solitude, to the grief of the aftermath of it all, to the hushed whispers of his last bits of sanity, all leading up to the gentle sways of the breeze passing the inn, enveloping you both in a rather serene atmosphere as you stare at each other's gaze, yours one of anticipation for his answer, and his of silent contemplation. when honest words akin to a silent plea for you to never leave him leave his lips—his sharp eyes immediately soften at the reddening of your cheeks in response.

# kazuha is nothing but a humble man. he does not seek wealth, nor fame, nor anything trivial that concerns his title as the lone descendant of a noble clan, or as the inspiring individual who directly went against the narukami ogosho's blade of lighting. he only wants two things—peace and tranquillity. luckily for him, those abstracts are found in you, being the embodiment of his real home no matter where you travel. kazuha firmly believes that he belongs by your side, and he hopes that you think the same should you agree to take him up on his wish.

# candace was more than ready to answer your question, which pleasantly surprised you. with how firm she is with her beliefs of being a descendant of the renowned scarlet king with the protection of aaru village, you would've thought she'd wish for the safety of her fellow people or something...she agrees with this sentiment with a chuckle of her own. “you're right. but me ensuring the healthy being of my village is a given. i simply wished that you staying as my partner...would also be a given too.”

# cyno, the general mahamantra outright admits this within a beat of his heart. he's sure this wish of his would have drawbacks on your part—considering his frightening reputation, but he knows, and is certain that you're willing to take it on for his sake. he trusts you with his whole being that you were ready to commit yourself to him just as much as he is to you. his resilience doesn't waver a bit when you come off surprised by his sudden cheesy advance, it only strengthens his resolve to remain with you for the rest of his life...or in other words...“since it's christmas...[name], will you merry me?” (💀)

# wanderer thinks this whole thing is silly. christmas is silly. merely wishing is silly. your question is silly. and his answer is also silly—but it held absolute truth, no matter how much he denied. it was rather stupid to ask for something that was already his, but he couldn't help it when the words erupted from his throat before he could even think about it. truthfully, there's nothing he wants in this world more than you. you are his heart. you are his human. you are his lover. you are his everything. he embarrassingly sputters for an insult when you suddenly laugh at his immediate response to your innocent question, your hearty giggles filling the silence of the room you've both resided in. something inside his chest flutters when you say 'likewise' so sweetly. he doesn't regret saying it that much now.

# shenhe was never this certain before. back then she'd always have doubts when it comes to making her own decisions, no matter how miniscule, or important it may be. is she supposed to be with humans? or with the adepti? this deer is looking at her quite weirdly, should she kill it? this person did terrible things unintentionally, should she hold them accountable? is she even in a position to decide such a thing? why are you making her feel weird things, should she confront you? all these random questions make up her past self, so now, in this present, can you be hers, faithfully and truthfully? forevermore, even? you have the power to grant this wish of hers, what will you do with it?

# kaveh is brutally honest when it comes to you. with how he's snuggling up to you like you're a sole lit torch within a raging blizzard upon uttering that one, three lettered word, now isn't an exception it seems. “i want you. only [name].” his voice is muffled onto your chest with a content sigh, resulting into a smile creeping up on your face at his display of affection. caressing his blonde locks, you mutter that you're already his, and remain that way forevermore. though the peaceful moment doesn't last long when you hear alhaitham on the other side of the house puking his insides out.

“a kiss, perhaps.”

# hu tao is a cheeky one. knowing her, she would very much rather die than passing up an opportunity to tease you. which is probably why she's now making kissy faces towards you in public, making loud bilabial clicks to further emphasize on her want for that kiss she requested of you. she's living for your blushing state right now. how cute you are! just makes her wanna pinch your cheeks and bite them! but right now, she has one goal. a raging conquest—to feel your lips against her own!

# ayato is also very cheeky when it comes to his dearest. that annoying knowing smirk of his plastered onto his face as you slowly process his response. he has no need for extravagant gifts when he has nearly every trinket or item at his fingertips as a wealthy noble clan head and his position as one of the tri-commissioners, so he'll use this to his advantage and pick up your lips in the process. he's been rather depraved of your attention lately with how busy he was with the preparation of christmas arriving in inazuma, but now that everything is set in motion, he wants to spend this small vacation with you and your lips in the meantime.

# yelan is incredibly flirtatious when she's alone with you. lingering touches that rile you up in silence, hushed whispers against your reddened ears, hot breaths mingling together from the close proximity she initiated...mhm, she's merciless. she'd have to hold herself back from full-on making out with you when you become shy from her intense gaze, averting your eyes as an attempt to calm your nerves. (she would ask for more than a kiss honestly, but we gotta keep it pg here so a long, long smooch it is.)

# heizou, yet another cheeky punk. you're really considering on giving his head a light hit for him to finally stop this little game of his. “ten kisses! that's all.” and after you're done pecking and littering his face with kisses, he'll just smile innocently and say “alright, ten more!” and he repeats it again, and again, and again, and again until you finally snap as you purposely bite his cheek under the pretense of giving another kiss. he just yelps and rubs the spot, pouting towards you afterwards as an attempt to charm you out of your irritated stance. “oh, come on, just another 10 more! it's the last, i promise!“ he then proceeds to say he'll return the kisses tenfold...whatever that means.

Yae Miko-

Thought you were the cutest little thing when she saw you on the first day of the new school year. She’s quick to make her move! Befriends you and not too soon after, confesses. She can’t help it! You think she’s just messing with you when she flirts with you. And who can blame you? First, y’all just met a couple weeks ago, and second, poor you can’t even tell if she’s serious or not with that shit-eating smirk on her face.

Yae Miko does nothing to qualm your concerns. She just likes your reactions too much. Your confused and flustered face brings her much satisfaction. You’ve turned into her piece of amusement and she doesn’t want to let you go!

She teases you so so much and you can’t understand if she actually has feelings for you or if she’s just playing with your heart! She really likes you though. Its just that she sees no problem in taking her time with you. She wants to study your reactions and really see what she can do that flusters you the most! In reality, she’s trying to treasure you, hence why she’s taking it slow, but you don’t need to know that do you?

She’s hot and cold with you but never too cold that you lose interest, just enough so she can see that frustrated look on your face.

But one day it got too much for you! You tell her whatever is going on between you two- if there’s anything between you two cause heavens you can’t figure her out- that it’s too confusing for you :(! Yae Miko didn’t think you’d break so easily, but she’s happy nonetheless. She wanted to take things a step further soon! Really wanted to be able to hold your hand and kiss you. But she tells you that she’ll explain everything in due time and leaves you stranded, but not without a kiss to your cheek and flirty wink!

On the weekend, she calls you up asking if you have a spare hour or two to hit the park. Tells you it’s an emergency and you come running thinking she might be in danger!

You come to her rescue at the park only to find a handmade banner tied between two trees and in writing asking, ‘will you go out with me?’ The cherry on the top was the pink haired girl standing beneath the banner with a bouquet of flowers.

Your eyes swell up a little. After weeks of back and forth from her, she finally gave you a clear answer. “Told you it was an emergency.” She says and she grabs you by the arm. She brings you into her arms and holds you in a big hug. “What do you say? Will you make me a girlfriend?” She asks while patting your head and she pulls away to look at you and well.. she already knows the answer from your face ;).

P.S. She had a whole day planned with you, from the park to the movies and dinner!

Kujou Sara-

Doesn’t catch herself falling for you until she’s already madly obsessed! She starts to look at (stalk) your socials, swears it’s not cause she wants to look at you but just to protect you from online haters! You quickly become the thing she thinks about the most, from right into the middle of the night to the early mornings when she wakes.

You start to notice the dark haired women popping up around you coincidentally! (She totally learned your schedule.) But Sara tells herself that she’s just there to keep you safe really (and to see your precious little smile!) She keeps her cool and calm demeanor around you, but she can’t quite look you in the eyes when she talks. She ties your shoelaces and holds doors open for you! Follows you around to the bathroom and to your car until you tell her it’s time for you to go home </3.

She starts to carry your backpack, pencil pouch, water bottle, basically everything you own. When you finally ask her why she goes through the trouble of carrying your stuff ontop of her own, she answers without thinking! Says something along the lines that a cutie like you shouldn’t be carrying such heavy stuff! Sara doesn’t realize the gravity of what she just said until she looks towards you since you’ve gotten quiet… and she’s met with the shyest look she has ever seen of yours!

Sara immediately wants to drop everything and take a picture of you, but instead you guys just walk to class in silence. Sara musters the courage to hold your hand and when she feels you give a little squeeze to her hand back, her heart skips a thousands beats! (she still living though lol.) The walk to your class is long, but it feels so short when you’re at your class door and Sara gives you back your stuff. Sara doesn’t know what comes over her as she asks you out!

“Are you free this friday?” She leans over the door looking at you as a light blush dusts her cheeks.

You nod, “please text me the details,” Sara, stunned, can’t believed you agreed. The bell rings, indicating it’s time for class as you head inside, but not without looking back to see if Sara is still there. “Sara!” You giggle. “You’re going to be late.”

“I already am, so let me look at you while I can.” Sara replies and you can’t help but wonder if Sara has always been such a smooth flirt! You finally head in, but not without the enticement of your date this friday and potentially your new girlfriend!

P.S. Sara cannot hide her feelings for you when you guys start dating so eventually the whole school knows y’all are together. Don’t worry though, she deals with the homophobes for you too <33!

Keqing-

Immediately notices how she feels differently around you from day one. Can’t really handle these feelings so tries avoiding you for a little to see if they die down, but she ends up just missing you even more!

She caught feelings for you once she sat next to you in class and heard you laugh. It’s such a simple thing, but Keqing got herself thinking how she wants to make you laugh more and hear all your different kinds of giggles and chuckles! She got shy at her own imagination and put her head down so you wouldn’t see her heated up cheeks! Little does she know you caught the red of her ears instead >;).

But even though you notice the red on her face when she looks at you and how she starts talking to you all fast now, no progress is made :(! Keqing is still quite the studious girl. She’s worried that you’ll become the biggest distraction ever from her studies! She uses that as an excuse to avoid you, but much to her demise, when you find her in the library that she’s studying in, and pull up a chair beside her, all that homework and those upcoming tests she thought about are now out of sight and out of mind!

She gives up on her little ploy to avoid you and decides she just has to manage her time better to be beside you! You guys take it slow for a while, it’s mainly stolen secret glances at each other that lead to you guys making eye contact sometimes where you both quickly break away but then look back to see if the other is still looking. Or its bad flirting between you two that always ends up in silence and with someone heated up in the face, but eventually… as both your feelings build up and up to its climax, you two practically burst!

Keqing and you can’t hold it in your hearts anymore. You’re both tired of waiting for the other person to make the move, so on one night when you both are out late at a cafe working on a school project. You two are sitting next to each other instead of across, and all of a sudden the cafe turns quiet with a slow song spewing in the background. You both look at each other, wanting to say something about the sudden silence, but instead you realize that the dinning room is left with only the two of you in it and that it makes you feel like it’s only you and her on the planet. You lean in a little.. she leans back.. you guys nudge noses.. she cups your face.. and you cup her neck.. you’re looking into each others eyes.. and then down to each others lips.. when you close your eyes and feel something soft on top of your mouth you realize you had the perfect first kiss!

P.S. You guys were definitely not alone. There’s always someone interrupting what would be the best kiss scene ever in the movies, and now it was your turn to feel that frustration first hand. Like its so homophobic for your waitress to interrupt y’all… (kidding I used to be a waitress and would hover over straight couples going at it like animals (T_T) with their food burning my hand off </3)

Furina-

Doesn’t want to admit she has a crush on you. Denies it so hard and challenges herself to talking to you without turning red! When that doesn’t work well she takes things to the next level…

She starts to make fun of you to prove to herself that she doesn’t really like you. She reminds herself that she’s doing the right thing because she thinks this where you are… beneath her. But after a particular moment when she went too far… she sees the hurt eyes and forlorn face of yours. All of sudden it doesn’t feel so good anymore when she feels like she’s the reason you’re crying! She exclaims that it’s your fault you can’t take a joke and runs away.

It’s not until an outside force (probably Neuvillette or Clorinde) who tells her that she’s acting awfully like an elementary girl with feelings… that Furina snaps. She’s no child and knows how to deal with her feelings! Do note her progress with how instead of denying her feelings for you now when called out, she’s denying thats she’s too immature to handle them. Furina decides to herself that you must be the sole person in this whole wide vast universe that is worthy of her affection.

So the next day at school she’s holding flowers, chocolates, and a big teddy bear with an ‘I’m Sorry’ sign on its belly, and you can’t help but think it’s another one of her mean pranks! When you run away from her and her gifts Furina doesn’t throw a tantrum that you didn’t accept her love, no, she grows even more determined to win your heart!

The game of cat and mouse begins as Furina keeps thinking you’re just playing hard to get! But the longer the chase plays out the more confused you get. Why would someone who made fun of you try to win you over all of sudden? ‘No, this must be another prank!’ Is what you thought until Furina seems at the end of her ropes.

It’s been a month of Furina trying to win you over and she starts to thinks it might just not be meant to be. The last time she tries to capture your heart isn’t with her bombarde of gifts, it’s her just walking up to you after school and asking if you’d go on one date with her. She ignores the confused look on your face as she tells you this is her last chance of trying to win you over and if you really don’t like her then she’ll leave you alone for good.

“Go out with me this weekend and if at the end you admit you’ve had enough, I’ll let you be.” Furina tells you direct and bold but also tired. She’s at the end of her line and you don’t notice the eye bags under her eyes or her messy hair. She has been staying up late these nights thinking of the perfect ultimatum to give you!

You, however, are still confused at what she means by ‘date,’ still not caught onto her feelings just yet. But it doesn’t sound like a bad idea as she promises to leave you alone after.

So you agree, and Furina’s face starts to light up again! She’s lost a lot of sleep over you, constantly thinking about how to win you over but she finally did it! She tells you to get ready by 10 am this saturday and she’ll pick you up.

Furina ends up taking you to the mall. She talks about random things going on in the world until she mentions a thing you both have in common! You forget about all the past teasing for a second as you geek out on this specific thing you like and realize that this isn’t as bad as you thought. The date goes really well and at the end of it Furina’s shown a lot of maturity in the past couple hours. You realize that maybe she does really have feelings for you and you consider them in your head. But when Furina pulls back to your house and she looks a little scared.

She parks on the curb of your house and looks you in the eye. “I know I said I’d leave you alone if you went on a date with me and didn’t like it, but… if by the slim chance you did.. then can I..?” She hesitates at the end and feels like she might’ve been asking for too much from you to be your girlfriend. Is just a complete mess around you <3. But even though she embarrasses herself a lot around you, she just can’t find it within herself to pull away from you!

When you smile at her, call her name, or do anything remotely friendly to her, she goes into shock a little and immediately hides behind her bangs! When you talk to her, her eyes gleam but is a stuttering mess in response. She beats herself up about not being more chilled out around you :(.

You’re going to have to be the one to take notice of her feelings because she needs a little encouragement to confess. Originally you thought she was just a little shy (or your resting bitch face was kicking in and intimidated her..) But even after a while, she remains as flustered as she is around you. This leads you think there might be another reason to her shy behavior.

You straight up just ask if you’re doing something wrong and Sucrose immediately wonders as to where you came to that conclusion. You tell her that you want to get closer to her but you feel like she might be scared of you. Sucrose realizes how her shy demeanor can come off as a fearful one, and is quick to deny your concerns! However, she holds herself back from putting her feelings of you into words. Sucrose wants to confess her feelings once she musters enough courage to do so! But when you ask her what you can do to make her more comfortable around you, Sucrose just can’t contain it anymore!

She gets frustrated. Why are you so nice? And why do you have to make this so hard? She mentions that she can’t tell you the reason now, but that she will soon! Sucrose quickly walks away before you can refute.

In a couple days, Sucrose walks up to you. Looking at her feet but not without a letter in her hand extended out to you. “It’s for you…” She mutters as you grab the paper from her hands and your fingers brush against each other. “Oh really? Thanks let me open-“ Just before you can open the paper, Sucrose is quick to cut you off. “No, please look at it when I’m not here!” She finally looks at you in the eyes and you can’t deny her with the desperate look on her face. After you agree, she calms down and class continues like normal.

Once the school day ends though, you read the letter filled with pretty little handwriting as your eyes quickly skim it down. In writing, Sucrose is apologizing for worrying you for thinking that she didn’t like you. She quickly tells you it was the exact opposite case! You read how she likes you so so much that she can’t handle herself getting nervous in front of you and your heart swells! She does apologize wayy too much in the letter for the dumbest things like not being able to tell you this in person and burdening you with her feelings which makes you a little mad as to why she’d apologize for something so human. But you feel the passion written behind each and every letter! You anxiously try to find her and you’re glad she finally felt comfortable enough to tell you this.

You’re trying to find Sucrose but she’s no where to be seen! She very much so ran away after handing you the letter, not wanting to see your reaction. But you scramble around the school looking for her through the mass hallway filled with students leaving the campus. You remember that she’s in the Science Fair and head to her club and low and behold there she is. She’s helping a student with a project and man are you piped to see her. She looks so pretty as she tucks a piece of hair behind her ears and pushes her glasses up looking at the fake volcano she was helping with!

But there is no time to admire her beauty, you run over to her, breathless and Sucrose looks as if she’s seen a ghost! You ask to speak to her in the hall and drag her by the arm before she can decline. You don’t waste another second as you pop the question, “Will you be my girlfriend?” And Sucrose looks as if she might pass out from excitement? Relief? Happiness? You’re not sure as to what, but are more than happy to see her reaction. “Well… is that a yes or a-“

“Yes a hundred thousand percent yes!” This is the loudest you ever heard her speak and she runs into your arms! But her excitement turns into needlessly worry. “Oh I’m sorry! I was just so happy that-“ Before she can pull away from the hug completely you interrupt her.

“We really need to work on that apologizing habit of yours…” You sigh into her neck as you tighten your arms and Sucrose eventually lets herself relax in your embrace.

You finally found the answer to your new girlfriends shy behavior around you! And that answer has led to a newly blossoming love!

a/n: i spent an all nighter to write this because i won't be able to for a while...yeah. enjoy this early Valentine's Day gift!

Beidou -

Beidou is the headstrong type of person to tease everyone on the boat. But with someone she's actually comfortable with, who she feels a bit mushy about, she'd be much more open to cuddling. Especially after an adventure where she gets a little beat down, she would appreciate a good cuddle from someone she trusts, it being one of the few moments she shows her more vulnerable side to you

She's a very physical person and likes hugs and other sorts of contact: holding hands, being close, etc. She'll even be so bold as to grab your chin and look you in the eyes. She also believes that touch is a good way to get to know someone. So whenever she gets close to you, you can be certain that she likes you. She's quite the believer that a hug can fix just about anything, so she's sure to give you your affection whenever it's needed.

The Crux captain may also have a slightly rough touch with her skin being rather calloused. If she's more reserved towards physical contact, her hugs would be more gentle and warm but when she's more used to your relationship, she'll be right up on your waist before you can even say hi to her.

For the longest time, Hu Tao was alone in both friendship and love. The entire concept of a relationship being quite the hard thing to swallow for her, so at first she would be more laid back with her affection.

Keqing is likely to be super proactive about her affections, so she's often the one being snuggled with more than the one doing the snuggling. she's quite gentle with physical contact, so if you started cuddling with her, playing with her hair or holding her hand, she would most likely go along with it and be rather passive. So in a lot of ways she is the perfect cuddle partner, but she rarely initiates it, usually being too embarrassed to ask for it.

When Keqing is stressed, she likes being curled up in the arms of your loving embrace. It's the one thing that can calm her down. She feels safe, comforted, and at peace. She finds the sensation so pleasant, it makes her want to drift off into a calm, gentle sleep…

She's a very affectionate person - she loves to cuddle with you at the end of the day. If especially needy,, she'll even wrap herself around you in a tight embrace and purr softly in your ear. Whenever she's tired, she'll curl up on your lap and take a nap. She's so cute that it's almost too much to bear.

Ningguang is the kind of girl who likes to be cuddled from behind, wrapped like a blanket in a cozy fashion. She doesn't think too much of physical touch in that sense but if she's stressed on a day, she likes to use it as a coping mechanism. She doesn't always get the chance to be held, so when she does, she's extremely warm, soft, and content.

On certain nights, she enjoys being the "big spoon". Ningguang is a possessive sort of partner, always trying to make clear to you that you were her's and only her's, so her best way of proving it to you was in those small actions.

For both your well-being and her reputation, your relationship had to be kept a secret, so your cuddling session and general affection was very rare, even if it pained Ningguang for it to be way. For all the public and Ningguang's enemies knew, you were only of many workers on the Jade chamber

She can be very attentive with it, if she notices or feels that you are in any way, sad or unwell, she'll spend her entire day trying to comfort you, that includes cuddles. She'll gladly be the big spoon if it meant seeing you better.

Shenhe is a very sensitive person. When touched or held, her heart beats faster and she can feel herself getting flushed in an instant. As her senses are stimulated by the warm touch, she loses herself in the present moment. The world shrinks in size and grows darker as only you are visible to her, being the only thing that mattered. In this moment, she is just a vulnerable girl with no powers being let at your mercy..and to her surprise.. you don't do any harm to her, you only show her your love.

Xinyan -

Xinyan's a cool and confident woman and doesn't have much trouble with public affection but gets really embarrassed if you cuddle her and her friends catch on. She's always been pretty bad at keeping her face from turning bright red at such an action. She's the type to snuggle with you, yet secretly be extremely embarrassed about it.

She enjoys being the big spoon, she'd lie down with you curled into her arm or resting your head on her chest - this is also her favorite position, since she can feel your heartbeat as she strokes your hair and hums you her favorite tunes.

After a long day performing for fans, Xinyan's favorite thing to do to rest up is cuddle up with you and enjoy the rest of her evening together with you. When you're stressed or upset, she’s more than happy to listen to you talk and offer words of encouragement. Even when she’s tired, she’ll always make sure to comfort and support you, as she knows how important it is to feel loved and cared for.

When Yanfei cuddles with you, she likes to make sure she's close to you. She makes the absolute most of it by clinging onto your body and holding you tight... In her arms, she can feel your heartbeat, listen to your breathing, and feeling its warmth. There is nothing more comforting than that after a long day of work... When she is embraced this way, there is nothing that can separate her from you.

She gets very cuddly with you and tends to be playful when she's trying to make you laugh. She usually initiates hugs by wrapping her arms around your neck or shoulder and pulling you close to her, and she usually likes being the little spoon at night. She'll probably tease you a bit when you're just having a casual conversation in-between cuddles, but when it comes to sleeping, she is very serious about physical closeness.

She'd be really playful about it, especially if she's with you, just saying sweet things and maybe teasingly flirting, but she'd never be really forward about it. She's not big on physical contact, but if she sees you're having a hard time, she'll wrap her arms around you .When she does, she won't say anything, but she's very good with her hands. She'll stroke and soothe wherever you're sore, easing your mind and body. She doesn't need to say anything... she just lets her touch do the talking. If you can, try to look into her eyes. You may get a sense that it's a side of her she only reveals to you.

Yun Jin is very professional at all times, but as you lay next to her, you can sense an air of gentleness around her. She has a calm, mature demeanor that makes you feel so calm and relaxed. She is warm to the touch and she seems to have a comforting aura that envelopes you completely.

Despite how serious she was at all the times, when you two were alone, free of the prying eyes of her fellow peers at the Opera Troupe, she would always be the little spoon, feeling loved and safe in your arms, something which she rarely felt.

To return from a long day in the Opera house to your loving arms was a feeling better than Celestia itself. Yun Jin would always have her worries and frustrations fade away by one simple hug from you.

You had finally convinced Keqing to take a break from her work and join you on your shared bed. You had finally gotten her to sleep at a decent time at night (as if you could call 11:30pm "decent").

You weren't much better than her, though.

Here you were, next to her sleeping form, writing the last page of your essay that you procrastinated on. You drag her to bed only to do the same thing you were attempting to save her from. But you had to get her to take a break- she had been working until midnight the past 4 days. You weren't sure her eye bags could get much darker.

You try to rub the sleep from your eyes, giving your eyes a rest by looking at the girl next to you. She had her arms wrapped around the pillow, her face squished into it- a similar sight to how she often held you. Her long hair covered much of her face when it wasn't tied up in a cat ear like fashion, and her expression was soft, much unlike the tense, scrunched up expression she had while staring blankly at her computer.

You sighed and forced yourself to pull your eyes away from her, focusing again on the essay you had to finish. If you finish it now, you won't have to worry about it later- that's what they always say, right?

You were finally snapped out of your trance (rather, violently shoved out of it) when your phone began ringing in your hands.

In your bumbling, half unconscious state, you drop your phone onto the ground and frantically attempt to reach for it while not waking up Keqing.

You finally do, but you were too late.

Her hand blindly reaches out and manages to grab your phone, her thumb searching for the off button.

"Hypocrite." Is all she says in her sleep deprived state.

You consider yourself lucky, as if she was more awake, you would have gotten many more chastising words.

Her arms wrapped around your waist, her hands tugging at your shirt to get you to lay down. Your phone was lost next to you, too enamored with her soft touches of affection.

She huffed, not even opening her eyes to look at you before cuddling into your side. "Just go to sleep."

MONA MEGISTUS

With hunger comes a stomach ache, or a headache, or both.

All were not unfamiliar to the astrologist. After all, when Mona spent all her mora on expensive books and scrolls, food was at the bottom of her list of priorities.

She sighed as she flipped through the pages of a very-lengthy book she picked up today from an Akademiya scholar. All her savings practically went into this, for her master had given her a deadline for this particular project. And when that’s over, it’s back to working for more funds.

Oh, how she wishes she could be in the Akademiya sometimes. Maybe they could find some of her research.

But that was impossible. She couldn’t just move, not when things are a little too perfect here in Mondstadt.

It’s where she met you, after all—and even settled down with you. Plus, it’s not like she’d want to give her son the hassle of moving around to a whole new nation. The forest is so struck with kids and studying…

In addition, you seem contented.

So contented, in fact, that Mona always felt guilty. She didn’t want to show her face to you most of the time, because what kind of wife just spends most of her finances on books and astrology equipment instead of living funds?

It wasn’t completely her own fault since these were orders from her master, after all—but it still ate at her guilt. She was a master astrologist, but not a master wife or mother, it seemed.

Mona tiptoed home late today. She was exhausted, yes, though she couldn’t deny that a large part of her energy was spent worrying about you. She would walk in while you and her son were already sleeping, and then she’d quickly stuff the book in her shelf and head to bed with you.

But instead of such a plan…

You were already right there to greet her at the door.

“Oh, is that for a new assignment?” you questioned quite interestedly as you pointed at the heavy book your wife carried. “I’ll bring it to your desk—you head to the kitchen!” And before Mona could even greet you back, you were already pacing down the hall.

Stepping into the kitchen sent her into an even greater state of shock, for her son stood there on a stool over the stove, cooking away.

“Wah—!” he yelped when he saw her walk in. “Mom, you can’t look yet! It’s not done!” While the act was endearing, Mona could tell it was her favorite food from just the smell alone.

“He won’t let anyone in there,” you sighed from beside her, seeming to come back from her desk. But a smile still rested on your face, even when you shook your head. “He said that he wanted to surprise you.”

“Well I am very surprised,” Mona huffed out. “You didn’t have to spend too much on this, right? I can c—”

“Pssh, don’t worry about that, my love, we’re fine,” you laughed. “For now, let’s all just eat as a family together, okay? Our little one’s been practicing his cooking skills whenever you’re out.”

Mona couldn’t quite place why fate had been so kind to her.

JEAN GUNNHILDR

You are her cherished wine, of course.

Like the breathily breeze swirled into one bottle of Thousand-Wind Wine, you were a unique delicacy to her—one in which was a sacred delight to her life.

But the Acting Grandmaster does not have wine often. And similarly, she does not see you often, either.

She is almost like a prisoner, chained to the duties of Mondstadt that she alone chose to handle. It was a commitment she almost regretted every time she saw you holding your daughter by the cold window, her little hands waving goodbye as Jean sets off early in the morning for another long day at the headquarters.

And every day, by the time Jean gets home, it is too late in the night for either of you to still be awake.

She sighs into the cold air, breath fogging like it does so every other night. The streets of Mondstadt are empty at this hour, and the breeze is cold enough to make her shiver. By now, every other citizen is safe at home in the warm arms of someone they cherish. Everyone except for her, of course.

Since the moment she married you, she could not allow for such warmth—not when she made it her duty to protect you and the city from ever being cold again.

So when she quietly stepped inside your house…

The smell of fresh baked bread and melted cheese overwhelmed her. It was warm in the house, and the light in the kitchen was still on.

“Not too many, my darling!”

“But mama loves mushrooms on her pizza!”

Your giggles from the countertop made her freeze in place. The sound of her daughter still being awake at this hour completely caught her off guard—and at first, she felt a sense of motherly worry and rush to quickly put her to bed.

But the thought of you and your daughter staying up to make her dinner had her mind and body spiraling.

So much so, that she literally stumbled on a floorboard when she took one step forward.

A gasp, “Mama’s home!”

When Jean looked up, she saw the excited smile of her daughter looking up at her from the light of the kitchen doorway. The happiness on her face was unbearable. Jean felt her heart hurt.

“Hi.” Plastered on her own face was the most awkward of grins; her face flushed in embarrassment as she straightened her back. What made her so nervous in front of her own family like this?

“My love,” you called—and she swore she felt her body melt instantly—“don’t be so tense, now.” Your hands traveled down to plant lovingly atop the shoulders of your daughter, who was gesturing quite excitedly at the kitchen with a dough roller in her hands. “We worked very hard to prepare you dinner, so you’ll come enjoy it with us now, won’t you?”

She could only sigh. And yet, one sight of you and her daughter made her feel an endless warmth she never knew she craved for.

“Thank you both,” she smiled. “We should start before the food gets cold, right?”

KEQING

If you had a say, you’d bargain that she’s at the Jade Chambers a little too often. But whose words could rival Tianqian?

Or, it seemed the Yuheng was not even opposed to it herself, for not even you, her dear wife could get her to stay home. She always had that stern look on her face that meant business. When fuchsia eyes held that certain glare, you were inclined to just keep quiet.

She almost never seemed overworked, which is why you hadn’t bothered before. A tinge of annoyance from work is the most she ever held, though you’d admit that your wife is a rather tough one to read.

Keqing was the same, however. In fact, she was likely even more dense. She paid no mind when she had to travel from the Jade Chambers to areas even outside of the harbor. Food or rest was not even in consideration whenever she told you that she was going to spend time with her friends—for that, too, was also classified as “being busy” to her.

Busy, busy, busy. But she always kept an easy-going smile on her face as she was used to it.

“Keqing.”

The Yuheng turned her head to face the Tianqian.

“Ningguang.”

The lady mused, “Don’t you think it’s rather late?” Her metal nail guard tapped atop the sodden surface of Keqing’s desk, avoiding the litters of papers and pens. “You should be trotting along home now.”

“I don’t take advice from you,” Keqing rolled her eyes. “It’s your fault making the office the same building as your living quarters.”

The Tianqian scoffed for a moment, though she hid a sly smile behind the fabric of her opened fan. “Work away, then,” she waved off with dismissive hand as she sauntered to her private chambers. “Though if it were me, personally, I wouldn’t keep my wife waiting at home.”

Keqing had half a mind to chase after her and shove that fan down her throat.

But she was right. And now Keqing found herself walking along home with an empty stomach and a guilty pit in her chest—or was that the hunger? She doesn’t recall it being this late, but to lie in bed snuggling next to you and the kids sounded like heaven right now.

“I’m homeeee,” she muttered out of practiced tradition. Though it was much quieter today, for she figured everyone was already sleeping.

“Mom is home!”

“Mom!”

In an instant, both her son and daughter were suddenly right there in her arms, and she just barely balanced herself from falling. It was only now that she realized all the lights were still on, and both her kids were very much wide awake.

She looked down at the kids in concern, questioning, “Why are you two doing still up—”

“My loves, you two left the food still frying! It might burn!”

With two collective gasps, both kids rushed back into the kitchen where your voice came from. Keqing took a moment to breathe in the air—the smell of her favorite food cooked by the people she loved the most.

The sounds of you lecturing the kids about cooking was heard from the kitchen before you could even welcome your wife home. And yet, Keqing stood there, watching you talk about cooking shrimp as she herself fell in love with you all over again.

Hm. Maybe she should listen to Ningguang more often.

Speaking of her, one of our clients has just developed a new strain—I promised to bring some for her when I come back to Liyue Harbor!

About Xiangling: That girl always by Guoba's side, right? Man Chai seems to like her a lot, especially the cornbread buns she makes! About Keqing: Thanks to her invitation and sponsorship, our Mighty Mythical Beast performances have been getting more and more attention in the harbor! She's very straightforward and speaks her mind about everything, and always has novel ideas! Although we haven’t talked much, I really admire her mindset and determination. It’s not easy to forge your own path forward, especially for someone of her standing.

About Chongyun: I've run into him once or twice on the road to Liyue Harbor. He didn’t seem to like talking that much when we met, but I’ve heard he’s actually quite outgoing! He wields a greatsword too—maybe he can train with me as the suanni’s tail? Of course, I wouldn’t force him to do anything he doesn’t want; I'm sure he's already busy! It would just be nice to have a wushou partner for once.

About Xinyan: I managed to catch one of Xinyan's performances when I had some free time after work. There weren’t many people in the audience, but her music was so energetic it completely made up for the quieter atmosphere. Originally, I was thinking about asking her to join our lion dance troupe as a drummer, but I’m glad to hear she's made a name for herself since then! I should properly introduce myself sometime!

About Zhongli: He once asked me whether I've heard about the legend of the solitary suanni after one of Iron Tongue Tian's stories. When I said yes, he launched into a really detailed discussion of Chenyu Vale's local belief system, and even told me some stories I haven't heard about a carp adeptus. It's amazing that he has so much knowledge on all sorts of folklore, as a funeral consultant no less!
