When she finally suggested taking a one-night trip to meet and take care of her dogs, you may as well have jumped for joy. (And you did.) Meeting Bakwoonganggu certainly held a spot on your bucket list, and maybe you hadn't-so-subtly brought it up. Multiple times.

Where your foresight faltered, however, was trusting Byulyi to pack your bag for you. Upon arriving in Bucheon, you rifled through the bag to figure out what she brought for you and realized she'd packed you everything except underwear. Looking up from the bag to let her know she forgot to grab you some, she sat on the bed spinning an unfamiliarly-colored pair on her finger, a glint in her eye.

"Thought these would be more interesting than whatever you would've packed," she said casually, tossing them to you. Their heftiness throws you off, eyebrows furrowing in confusion. A flourish of her other hand reveals a small black rectangle pinched between her index finger and thumb.

Oh. Ohh. You glare at her, lips pressed in a straight line. "Don't tell me you only packed this pair."

"You snooze... you lose?" the question nearly squeaking out of her.

She's lucky you love her. "What am I gonna do with you? And these??" shaking the panties in your hand. "Did you just expect me to wear these casually?"

"No no, of course not," she shot back coolly. "Where's the fun in that? Here, I'll make you a deal." Great. What now? "Survive a walk in the park with the dogs without weirding anyone out and I'll treat you to all your favorite foods, ASMR mukbang style." Shit. She knows exactly what she's doing, appealing to your vices - tasty food and your competitive edge.

Staring into her eager expression, your eyes narrowed, silently communicating that you were onto her. "Fine, bet," hands hooking into your waistband to change.

Okay, maybe her complaints about being dog-wrangler weren't totally unfounded. Despite her frequent attempts at explaining the "obvious" differences between Daebak, Haengwoon, and Keongang, she still catches you mistaking one for another. At least you've got Janggu's name down, but that's nothing to boast about. Byul agrees to let you walk Janggu in the park while she deals with other the 3 rascals.

Byul pulls the car into the parking lot, the dogs eagerly bustling in the back. You exit the car and put a hand on the trunk handle to let the dogs out when her hands out of nowhere grasp your shirt. Without skipping a beat she spins you around and gently pins you to the car, pushing you into a deep kiss - the kind that leaves you breathless and never fails to make a stir between your legs. It takes more than you expect to resist deepening it. But you're in public, so you place your palms just below her shoulders and straighten your arms to push her off you.

"Hey, that's cheating."

"I don't know what you're talking about," she nearly sing-songs, gently pushing you aside to open the trunk and leash up the dogs. “I’m actually going easy on you,” she claims, gesturing to the 3 corgis with their tongues hanging out. “I could’ve given you these three!” Fingers crossed they keep her busy so she doesn't constantly have a hand on the remote in her pocket.

The 6 of you set off into the park. You hear the soft click of the remote and the bet begins. Surprisingly the initial vibrations aren't that strong, maybe you can tune them out? Is it really gonna be this easy? Byul clicks it off, analyzing your expression for any sign of weakness. You shoot her a confidently toothy smile but she simply raises her eyebrows and smirks - an expression communicating nothing but "oh, you'll see".

You spot a child holding their parents hand a bit down the way. You can make out their small arm in the distance pointing fervently at the dogs.

Once they come within earshot, they run up to you. "Aww! Can I pet your dog?"

She better not. The faint click from behind you confirms your fears as your knees flip immediately inwards as if it'd somehow brace against the inevitable.

“mHMM!" a hum slightly too enthusiastic escapes you, but it's all you can manage. The vibrations immediately cease after the response leaves your mouth. While the kid gingerly pets Janggu, you shoot her a tight-lipped smile. It just caught you off-guard, you’re not cracking that easily.

Both of you continue along the path with the dogs, the 3 corgis being strangely well-behaved unfortunately gives Byul plenty of time to think about when to flip the switch next.

A vaguely familiar voice comes from behind that makes you stop in your tracks. "Moonbyul?" Heads turning to face the voice, it belongs to no one other than Katie Kim.

"Katie! How've you been, you visiting your parents?" Byul gives you a split-second glance, absolute mischief flashing in her eyes before returning her attention to Katie. Shit, she knows. What a terrible day to run into one of your favorite musicians - if there was anyone you didn't want to weird out today, it was her. Your racing mind tunes out whatever pleasantries they're exchanging while trying to work out what kind of magical excuse or sudden distraction to pull during your inevitable fate. Byul's hand on your arm interrupts the thoughts, "Katie, this is my girlfriend. Big fan."

Embarrassment apparent in your face, your fist makes contact with Byul's arm. "What the... you didn't have to tell her tha—" Not even enough time to get a full sentence out before you hear multiple faint clicks. The deep regret of not checking if that damn remote had levels is all you can think about while letting out the biggest moan disguised as a pained cry, doubling over to squat on the ground, arms around your legs. You let yourself at least enjoy the feeling with your face buried in your knees until she turns it off, sufficiently satisfied with the situation she's created. She's gonna pay for this later. Literally.

"Um... are you good?" You raise your head weakly to look up with the straightest face you can muster, Katie's silhouette blocking out the sun beating down on you. At least the heat helps explain away the fact that you're sweating through your shirt. Just as your mouth opens to assure her that everything's fine, an unexpected rapid tug on your hand instinctively makes you let go - let go of Janggu's leash. He darts off as a fluffy white blur with the long leash dragging behind him.

You leap to your feet and turn to Katie. "Yes. So sorry, gotta catch this dog," eyes intermittently darting away from hers to make sure you don't lose sight of him. You manage to yell "really nice to meet you!" while making a break for it. Gotta hand it to him for this one.

Despite the vibrations resuming, you keep running after Janggu anyway, eventually managing to stomp a foot on his trailing leash. You pick the loop up off the ground, slipping your hand through and grasping the length of the leash as you should've in the first place. Looking around after the wild chase, you spot the entrance to the parking lot where you started. As long as your feet hit that spot where you began, you win, right?

Feeling too spent from the Janggu pursuit and trying to act "normal" begs a brisk walk towards the car instead of a sprint. Byul's commands to the 3 corgis are growing louder behind you in tandem with the strength of the vibrations against your clit - you just have to make it to the car. Teeth bared with sweat flowing freely down your forehead in concentration, the walk morphs into a slower waddle, trying to make sure your legs don't press the underwear in any closer. You look absolutely ridiculous but luckily there aren't many people around.

The vibrations finally cease just as you arrive to the car. The full-body tension that leaves has you feeling almost floaty. Your free hand slams down on the hood of the car in triumph - then lifts back up with instantaneous regret. A white-hot burn flashes through your palm, forgetting that the car's been sitting in the sun this whole time. Byul finally catches up to witness you clutching your hand, face twisted in both pain and arousal not-yet-taken-care-of.

"I won," you utter faintly with a weak smile. It feels like your hand and clit are simultaneously throbbing, if that's even possible. Can someone be wet enough to ruin a vibrator?

"Did you now?" she prods sarcastically, stifling a near-laugh. She's not the one in pain, covered in sweat, and struggling to speak after making a rather unprecedented impression on a musician she deeply admires.

"No need to get into technicalities just because you lost and have to feed me now," you manage to boast, nearly hobbling to the trunk of the car to usher the dogs in. "But let's go, I need to get these things off," gesturing to your underwear. Her hand dips into her pocket, holding the remote up in plain sight with her thumb on the switch.

Who is Moonbyul?

Moon Byul-yi, better known by her stage name Moonbyul, is the second oldest member and is in charge of rapping and performance of Mamamoo, a K-pop Vocal Powerhouse Girl Group that debuted back on June 19, 2014.

She has two younger sisters, Moon Seul-gi and Moon Ye-sol. She also has four dogs (three corgis: Daebak, Haengwoon, and Keongang. and a mixed named Janggu that she adopted a day before her birthday December 21, 2020.) she opened an instagram for all four of them.

How was she discovered?

Prior to becoming an RBW Trainee, Moonbyul has a long history of music training having to trained in vocals first and later switched to rap because Solar suggested that might do well in that field. She also auditioned for multiple agencies and even ran into her future fellow member Wheein where they almost debuted in the same group where she was the leader and Wheein was the maknae. The group only lasted a week before they all went their separate ways.

Debut with Mamamoo

On June 19, 2014, Solar successfully debuted as a member of Mamamoo along with the other members Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa. Their debut was considered one of the best debut in 2014 and even up to now.

Solo Debut

On May 23, 2018, she made her solo debut with the single “Selfish” featuring Kang Seulgi of Red Velvet. Formats: Kihno, Digital Download, and Streaming.

On February 14, 2020, She released her EP, Dark Side of the Moon on CD, Digital Download and Streaming.

She created the choreography for Mr. Ambiguous and also wrote her own rap part as she does with almost all their songs and during Immortal Songs.

She is the 34th most copyrighted artist in KOMCA with 71 credits under her belt. This also makes her the most credited 3rd Gen Female Artist and the 2nd highest credited Female Artist of All Time.

She is part of the 92-Liners aling with EXID’s Hani, BTS’ Jin, B1A4′s Sandeul, and VIXX’ Ken. They often hangout together when they get time and has a group chat.

She is part of Girls Next Door, a 7-member girl group that debuted on July 14, 2017. The group was formed in the variety show  “Idol Drama Operation Team”. This group consists of Moonbyul, Red Velvet’s Seulgi, I.B.I, C.I.V.A’s Kim So-hee, Sonamoo’s D.ana, Oh My Girl’s YooA, Lovelyz’ Sujeong, I.O.I’s Jeon Somi. With Deep Blue Eyes as their debut song.

During pre-debut up to the Um Oh Ah Yeh era, Moonbyul were roommates with Wheein.
