🐕🦍Love Triangle Between Hajime, Warden's Secretary!Reader and Kenshirou Headcanons 🦍🐕

You were hired at Nanba Prison as Warden Hyakushiki's secretary, and since the start, you'd had an eye for Building 4's Supervisor, Kenshirou

You knew he was a kind and caring man, even with his line of work, and he was just so handsome; you couldn't help but fall for him, and fall for him hard.

At the same time, you could tell Kenshirou liked the Warden. He wasn't very subtle; the way he tried to hide the way he blushed as he turned his back to her, the way he spoke about her..

It was a bit painful to know your feelings weren't quite reciprocated.

It didn't stop your fawning though, and often times you'd be seen having little fluster fits at just the thought of the dog guard

Yet while all this was going on between you, Kenshirou and Momoko, Hajime had developed his own little crush on you, too!

Your kind, sweet nature was only one of the nails in the coffin for the bald guard. He just wasn't sure how to go about acting on his feelings for you

He'd watch from afar, smoking a cigarette while on break as he watched you pass by or go about your work, daydreaming about getting closer to you

It didn't help his nerves seeing how you fawned over his rival, and it annoyed him even more that Kenshirou was so oblivious to your feelings when you weren't very subtle yourself

This little love triangle didn't go unnoticed by the Warden or the other supervisors. Momoko, while she had feelings for Hajime, couldn't help but feel bad for all three of them. They had this whole love triangle going on and had no idea.

The other sups felt the same way, pitying the poor fools for not realizing how they pined for each other. Some found the whole thing hilarious and stupid, while some genuinely felt sorry and sad for the trio

Hopefully someone fesses up sooner than later and puts an end to the longing loop!

HEY NANBAKA FANS!!! Has anyone ever thought about the linguistic skills everyone has? Concerning the fact that the cast is largely international with the inmates primarily besides the guards since majority of them are Japanese (except for Building 5 that's mainly Chinese).

Big Note: I'm not fully caught up in the manga and just basically started it, so this is all coming from an anime watcher. If its somehow explained in the manga then someone tell me please...

Though staying with the primary cast of Building 13, 3/4 of cell 13 are foreigners from specifically English speaking countries being America and Britain. So are the three of them fluent in Japanese? I guess they would because Nanba Prison is in Japanese waters with majority of everyone being Japanese. I understand that the foreign guards would have to know Japanese for obvious reasons.

So here are my personal headcanons/thoughts for the each of the primary characters in the anime (because I haven't finished the manga):

Inmates

I think it depends on the pasts and learning abilities of the inmates for them to have a better understandings of learning another language and retaining that.

Jyugo: I find it hard to believe he would be able to learn another language easily or even moderately. He probably tries to copy how someone pronounces something but he struggles with reading and writing. From all the prisons he's been to internationally, he probably has basic English that was kind of refined from Uno helping.

Uno: Out of everyone in cell 13, Uno would most likely be bilingual with English and Japanese. I don't think he would be completely fluent however, he might struggle with more complex sentences or words he's unfamiliar with. (Also who doesn't think Uno might slip into some angry British English or something...)

Nico: I think Nico would be able to speak more Japanese than English because of watching anime. He can't read so he's going off hearing, so he might have picked up on words from how they're used in phrases and puts them in his everyday. Along with all the guards and Jyugo probably teaching him in some way.

Rock: Honestly, I see Rock using more English than the other three. Using it more emotively especially when he's angry or frustrated, mainly to himself. His Japanese I'd say is decent but not as fluent.

Tsukumo: Definitely bilingual and possibly trilingual. Japanese and English and I'll say Chinese that his 'mum' encouraged him to learn because of possible roles. Probably maintains them by trying them with English and Chinese speaking inmates.

Liang: Japanese and Chinese straight up. Doesn't know English well at all because of the environment and situation he grew up in, but he probably doesn't care about learning another language and just keeps Japanese and Chinese. Too busy training anyway.

Upa: Same thing with Liang. Don't really care and too busy training. English? I think he'd be really competitive against like Liang to see who's better at English.

Qi: Trilingual. Qi is pretty smart so I'm not surprised he would know three languages or so. He might've had foreign clients before he went to prison so he'd have to know English at least. Its Japanese, Chinese and English he knows to spell it out.

Musashi: Most likely the most knowledgeable out of the inmates, considering Musashi went to college so I'm saying trilingual. For all I know he might not be fluent in Japanese but he’s certainly fluent in German and English for obvious reasons (he’s German if anyone forgot).

Honey: Bilingual. He’s half Japanese and American but we don’t know anything about his family so who knows if he was actually taught Japanese at a young age. But Honey is quite smart with his bullets and the thread so I’d say he knows English and Japanese well to near fluency.

Trois: Most likely also bilingual but possibly trilingual. Trois is very intelligent considering his somewhat sadistic self with machinery, in my mind he probably has enough brain space for two at least languages. French is one and the other is Japanese, I said trilingual because I'm not sure if he would know English somehow.

Guards

They gotta be smart in a way and physically strong enough to keep these inmates from escaping. Not to mention the foreign guards having to learn another language to work at Nanba.

Hajime: Strikes me as a man that at least knows decent English but not fluent. I think he's very knowledgeable in other languages but he's too busy to study them or learn them.

Yamato: I don't think Yamato knows a lot of English or any other language besides Japanese. I'm not sure how he met his wife since she's Russian but I think she's bilingual while he isn't really.

Seitarou: Shy English speaker and isn't that confident in his skills, but he knows it decently. Though he doesn't give a vibe that he knows anything other than Japanese or English.

Samon: For obvious reasons he's bilingual with Japanese and Chinese. I like to think that the Chinese inmates and guards talk to each other in Chinese as a way of retaining the language. I see Samon helping some inmates retain their Chinese if some happen to forget like writing.

Inori: Again, bilingual. Highly doubt he would try to learn another language. Would he speak it at Nanba with anyone else? Honestly, he might but probably not often at all yet he somehow still remembers his Chinese.

Kenshirou: I'll be honest here, Kenshirou most likely knows the basics for a bunch of languages from his years in the police and he might of had to pick up basics for other languages for situations or so. Currently, I see his linguistics being a bit broken from not using it and or he forgets because of his work.

Hitoshi: Probably really knowledgeable on linguistics and other cultures but might have trouble speaking. Is very curious about other cultures and actually wouldn't mind learning from the people and feeling a great amount of appreciation for them. Considering the fact that he remembers that Hajime told him that Germans like beer a lot so I think Hitoshi wouldn't mind learning about other languages.

Kiji: This is hard. But I don't think Kiji would be extremely good with learning another language but I think he would know a few words. Like random words he can use and say in the correct times, though he probably would be too busy with his duties

Mitsuru: Ironically, probably knows many languages and surprisingly doesn't butcher any of them. Most likely favours English the most and is most likely fluent. Reason I'd say is from music he listens to or just saying shit for the jokes and memes.

Momoko: Relatively knowledgeable on other languages but isn't fluent in those languages. I'd say as the warden she'd have to encounter many foreigners so she'd know other languages for conversation and what's necessary.

Mitsuru

Mitsuru has the best oral skills out of any man in the entire Nanbaka cast. He’s got a longer than average tongue and is really good at knowing how to use it. Not only that, but he never sticks to just the tried and true and switches up his oral techniques enough that it doesn’t begin to feel too same-y, if that makes sense. And he honestly loves giving oral sex to his partner; he makes it really clear, and he will be content with going down on them and eating them like the snack they are, even if actual penetrative sex never happens.

Mitsuru is very vocal during sex. He talks dirty and he doesn’t hold back any noises he feels like making. He’s definitely great at making sure his partner knows he’s enjoying himself, but he can be overly vocal, to be honest, almost to the point where it’s distracting to his lover and instead of being a turn-off, it can pull his lover out of the moment.

Kenshirou

Kenshirou will be an insanely loyal lover who will never, ever give a partner reason to suspect him of cheating. He won’t even watch porn while he’s in a sexual relationship with someone…hell, to go one step further, he’d be appalled at himself if he so much as saw another pair of titties on the internet while he was in a sexual relationship with someone.

The downside is, though, that Kenshirou is oddly prim and proper and quite hesitant when it comes to sex with his lover. He’s never quite sure how to instigate and feels nervous doing so and he does have a set amount of time he thinks is proper to wait before becoming intimate with a new partner and very solid thoughts on what is, and is not, proper regarding sex.

Samon

Samon has a praise kink and any of his lovers will definitely be at risk of developing a huge ego considering all the naughty, dirty, but oddly sweet compliments he will moan out during foreplay and sex. He’s especially good at bolstering the self-esteem of a lover who does have confidence issues because, if he notices this about his lover, he’s going extra hard with both the praise and the body worship he’ll lavish upon them.

That being said, Samon is a busy guy who does get stressed really easily and he’ll either become really uninterested in sex and physical affection when he gets really stressed or he’ll take out that stress on his partner and be surprisingly rough and selfish during sex when he’s going through those periods.

Qi

Qi’s really knowledgeable about all aspects of the human body so he’s fully aware of every erogenous zone on his partner’s body and will make them feel so good using methods his partner would never suspect would make them feel that damn good. He’s also pretty casual about the human body and would be quick to shrug off or dismiss any weird sounds during sex or, if a partner was on their period, or, in another example, if things got a little messy during anal, Qi wouldn’t actually think twice about it and would consider it pretty normal.

However, Qi can be a bit of a lazy lover and he’s very much a pillow princess. He’s more content to let his lover do almost all the work sexually, from expecting them to ride him instead of him having to put in the physical effort to expecting them to instigate more often than he will.

Elf

Sex will definitely be exciting with Elf. He’s anything but boring and that extends to his sexual self. He lives to push boundaries and to explore and he will be open to literally anything sexually. He comes up with insane fantasies and will want to experience every ounce of pleasure he can get or give his partner.

Cons of sex with Elf – there’s always a possibility that you end up dead afterwards but hey, those are the risks you have to accept to have anything to do with this man.

One thought that I remember having for this AU in particular, is that if/when Sei and Ken get married, if/when they decide to have kids, Sei's younger sister would be an egg donor or maybe also the straight up surrogate for Ken's baby. That way, Sei and Ken get to raise a kid that is biologically related to both of them and will have a kid that actually looks related to both of them. The warm fuzzy feelings. 💕💜🥰

Let's be honest: if these two had a daughter, she would be the most spoiled little sweetheart you've ever seen, with both her fathers wrapped around her little finger. She would call Seitarou "daddy" and Kenshirou "papa" and wear handmade dresses and have a puppydog that goes everywhere with her and a collection of plushies and a terrible sweet tooth and NOBODY will be able to look at this child and tell her no. This pastel princess will be so loved and happy.

Qi when younger had a different hair color maybe black but as he grew up his hair became the gray-is color like now

And sometimes his eyes wander and stares at ppls butts (Butt is butt he will stare regardless of gender) and just stays like that for a while until he zones back to reality

Kenshirou likes chewing on stuff when he's alone.... Like a dog hshs

Upa likes to be carried around sometimes but never admits it

Lazy Day Headcanons

Hajime

Oh boy his skin literally crawls whenever he’s required to take any sort of vacation time. He gets up at exactly the same time as his regular work day and proceeds to run through his regular routine. He’s a man on autopilot at this point and it’s better to let him cope by going through the motions. 

Honestly, the entire time he’s just gonna try and do work while not at work. Whether that means going to the gym or meeting any sort of books there’s not going to be much downtime for Hajime. But hey, seeing Hajime come back from a ‘short’ five mile run is honestly a blessing. Just make him take a shower before you kiss him. Stinky. 

From there he’s going to have a plan for the rest of the day for the two of you. He may not necessarily want to take a day off but he won’t deny that it has it perks, which is spending time with you! 

Hajime most likely planned a simple and active date where the two of you go on a short hike and have a simple picnic date. Do not call him out on the fact that all the food he brought is cut into cute shapes and in super cute bento boxes. You should know by now that Hitoshi is the culprit. 

Samon

While Samon is very much so a hard worker he does greatly enjoy his days off. However, this man has a ton of energy and will have to work it off in some way so he can completely relax. At least he knows how to enjoy his days off unlike a certain gorilla.

He’s going to want to spend some time outside, probably somewhere like a beach or a pool (please remind him to wear sunscreen). He’ll likely spend a good hour or so swimming before he finally decides to rest for a bit. You best know that he’s going to be enjoying a popsicle and building a sandcastle the rest of the time. 

While this man can cook he won’t want to during his day off and he will order a takeout buffet if someone doesn’t stop him. Honestly just let Samon treat himself he deserves it. 

Kind of clingy and will drag you literally everywhere he goes! He just wants to spend as much time with you as he can without any interruptions! If you complain or tease him about this he will pout for a ridiculous amount of time. Demands that the two of you cuddle and watch a movie. He’s likely going to want an action movie but he’ll watch anything you want because he’s s o f t 

Kenshirou 

Hell must be freezing over because Kenshirou will actually sleep in for once. Wether or not sleeping in for thirty minutes past his alarm clock really counts is debatable, but hey, it technically happened right? Will go make a cup of tea immediately after waking up and read a book. 

No uniform for the day feels weird to him but it does provide him with an excuse to pull out an old pair of joggers and a worn graphic t-shirt. Nobody outside of work will ever know this but Kenshirou actually likes dorky t-shirts. He only owns five at most but he cherishes them.

High key has been planning for this day for a while. That place you’ve been wanting to eat at? Kenshirou is going to take you there. Have an item that you’ve been wanting? Not only did he buy it but he wrapped it and is going to give it to you at dinner. He’ll act like it isn’t a big deal but you better appreciate him or I will-

High key touch starved and will want to show affection but doesn’t know how to verbalize it without getting embarrassed. You can tell based off of the way he steals glances at you and leans towards you when you talk. Just hug this man or hold his hand he’s struggling.

4 headcanon for musashi and Kenshirou

Musashi:

Headcanon A:  is able to walk around out in the cold with barely anything to keep himself warm on except for a usual outfit due to how warm he is. all his life everyone found it odd but nice to go up to him for warmth in schools.

Headcanon B: is used as hitoshi’s model for accessories and such. he doesn’t mind though it’s good!

Headcanon C: tries to take his strips off to try and get more comfortable with them off but gets anxious over it due to trauma behind em so he puts em back on.

Headcanon D: was actually a hella party animal once entering college as if the piercings didn’t give too much away.

Kenshirou

Headcanon A:  lost his eye during his time as a police officer trying to protect someone.

Headcanon B: volunteers for animal shelter help and such.

Headcanon C: very anxious bout the future and wanting to have a family, but worried it’s not the right time despite being absolutely ready he’s always doubting it.

Headcanon D: loves cats despite his allergies.

Head canon of a serious Mitsuru

I honestly feel like a serious Mitsuru would throw everyone for a loop, and that the guy can't be loud and vibrant all the time. What if, really, he was just acting that way to take his mind off of something? What if, in reality, he actually has depression? Or something traumatic happened to him in the past and he hasn't moved on from it? We don't even KNOW a lot about the guy! Welp, speculation aside, I'm gonna give some examples (which are not canon, of course):

Hajime: Oi, stupid crane, you gave me the wrong stack of paperwork.

Mitsuru, muttering under his breath: Ah, so I fucked up like I do every day.

Hajime, not hearing him: What did you say?

Mitsuru: I mean, WHOA! Sorry about that, Hajime-chan~ I'll go get the right ones~☆

Jyugo, standing in a corner of the game room: I feel dead inside.

Mitsuru, appearing out of nowhere with boxes in his hands: You and me both, buddy.

Jyugo: Wait what -

Mitsuru: *Already walking away to give Uno the boxes, a smile already in place*

Kenshirou, sighing: How do I get the warden's attention...?

Mitsuru: Just be yourself. If she doesn't like you for who you are, then she's not the one.

Kenshirou, looking shocked: Mitsuru...thank yo-

Mitsuru: Or, at least that's how it goes! I wouldn't know anything about that, now would I~? *Starts laughing*

Kenshirou: ...

Uno: Wow, Micchan!You're the best!

Mitsuru, internally: No. No, I'm not. I'm not the best. I suck at everything I do and I'm loud and obnoxious and I wish that I could just disappear -

Mitsuru, externally: Anything for one of my favorite inmates, YEAH!!

Here again, sorry if I'm annoying but I love your blog and your content. Can I request Kenshirou, Kiji, Hajime and Samon's reaction to seeing their little partner (who is a prisoner) take control of their respective blocks during their absence? As if even the guards followed their orders and the block was in even better control and order than when they left. I love the concept of little people being admired and respected as leaders.

🐕 Kenshirou 🐕

Kenshirou took take a week long leave while he worked on looking into the Man with the Scar, seeing if he could learn anything about his whereabouts

He assumed another guard that was higher up in the pecking order would take over for him while he was gone, and things should go undisturbed

However, when he came back, he was surprised to find the building doing much better than he could have expected

Everyone doing their jobs exceedingly well, no reported incidents.. all in all, it was doing even better than it had been before he left

When he inquired about who had taken his role, you can imagine his shock to learn it was none other than his little prisoner partner

Needless to say, he gained a newfound respect for them that day, and would take it upon himself to make sure they are the ones filling in for him from then on out

🦚 Kiji 🦚

After getting a scratch on the job, Kiji took a- as he called it- mandatory recovery leave. At least until he was presentable again

It took a bit longer than he'd of liked, and was a bit worried about how the state of his building would be with his gorgeous self MIA

Yet, his expectations were blown out of water upon his return

He was thoroughly impressed by how greatly things were running, and was quick to look into finding out just what brilliant mind had filled his role

Absolutely stunned to learn it was his little prisoner partner, wondering just how a prisoner could do so amazingly at running a prison block

Gives his partner all the praise and congratulations for a job well done

🦍 Hajime 🦍

Hajime was given a three day suspension for acting a "bit" too aggressively toward his "favorite" prisoners, resulting in Jyugo getting a fractured rib bone

Seems he didn't learn his lesson from the tournament incident!

He figured the other supervisors would take over for him like last time, and since things worked well while he was gone then, he knew there wouldn't be a problem now

Upon coming back, however, and seeing the building running even better than it was a mere three days ago, and even when he was suspended before, he realized someone else took over

Thoroughly floored to learn that his little jailbird of a partner was to thank for it all

Maybe not all the prisoners in this place are idiots after all..

🐒 Samon 🐒

Not long after Enki's passing, Samon decided to take a few days off to mentally recover

At first he thought Hajime would end up filling his shoes and the though annoyed him, but eh.. as long as he doesn't mess anything up

What he returned to was far from what he was expecting, and he was certain even Hajime wouldn't have caused the building to work this well in his absence

He was quick to ask the first guard he saw about just who was responsible for this change of operation

He's at a loss for words when they explain it was his little partner, a prisoner at that, to thank for it

Hmm.. maybe once they serve their sentence, they'd make a damn good deputy.

Hi! Do you have any cuddling headcanons for Kenshirou, Samon, Mitsuru, and Mushashi?

I actually just posted some cuddling hc for Samon and Mitsuru but I’ll add onto them ^^

Kenshirou:

-He’s really awkward at first, not sure how to begin cuddles

-Once he gets comfortable, he becomes extremely affectionate and sometimes even clingy

-Keeps you in a protective, yet gentle hold

-Often nuzzles your neck or shoulder, and loves it when you do the same

-He loves holding hands. It makes him slightly giddy on the inside, which is a nice feeling to him

Musashi:

-Like Kenshirou, he often keeps you in a protective hold

-He’s always touching you, and has to have some sort of contact with you. This could be his arm around your shoulder, or simply holding you close by your waist

-He doesn’t like it when you go too far from him. Knowing where you are gives him a sense of security and relief

For day 10 of the event, I used number 4 from prompt 13 for some of the guards from Nanbaka! It’s such fun to write for these guys and I hope you lovelies enjoy the headcanons!

Do they give out candy or do they eat it all themselves? Favourite candy?

Hajime and Hitoshi wouldn’t pass out candy if it was left up to Hajime. He gets so involved in his work and his little free time is spent on the few hobbies he has and he’s actually probably going to completely forget about Halloween up until he’s reminded by his brother or one of his co-workers. If it wasn’t for Hitoshi, there would be no candy for the trick or treaters. However, Hitoshi really enjoys Halloween, both for the chance to dress up in a cute costume and for the opportunity to see all the little kids in their costumes. Hitoshi makes sure that, if Hajime isn’t working, he helps pass out treats to the kids. Hajime is more likely to give the kids whose costumes he really likes more candy, though Hitoshi scolds him for doing so because all the kids are doing their best and deserve equal treatment.

Kiji doesn’t stay home on Halloween. If he’s not working and has Halloween off, then he’s out and about attending various Halloween parties and having fun on his own. He doesn’t even buy candy for himself because of the havoc it would cause for his skin.

Neither Kenshirou nor Samon celebrate Halloween, so they don’t pass out candy. Both men prefer to work on that day anyway, but if they don’t, then their neighbours have already learned well enough to not even bother with their houses. However, Samon will definitely take advantage of the Halloween sales on candy to pick up some that he’ll bring to the prison to munch on while he does paperwork. He also probably hands out some to the prisoners if they do really well in their training.

The Daisen brothers always argue about this every year. It’s very rare for them all to be working Halloween, and at least one brother will for sure pass out treats. The argument they have every year is always about what kind of treats they’ll be passing out. Youriki insists on handing out anything other than candy, as the most health conscious of the bunch. Kids love apples too, right? Why don’t they pass out apples? Meanwhile, Rokuriki and Kokoriki will argue with him until they’re blue in the face that kids deserve a treat every now and again. Kokoriki suggests canned juices while Rokuriki just wants to give the poor kids candy. They might end up in physical fight-fights over it. They end up giving out apples every year.

Yamato used to be fastidious about either him or his wife handing out candy. He really loves seeing all the kids in their costumes and is super friendly with them. However, as soon as he had a child of his own, making sure she gets to go out trick or treating is the top priority for both Yamato and his wife. It’s a little sad, because his house used to be the one absolutely all decked out for Halloween, with animatronics and blow up decorations and fake tombstones and anything else he could think of that the kids might love.

Ever wanted to get cussed out in 20 different languages in just a few angry sentences? This is one way to go about that.

Kenshirou however, will take the needed action to prevent Musashi from getting hurt should he be at risk, and this could include him taking a dangerous person down if a fight broke out. Tough as ‘hotboy’ is, he is still disabled, and a bit reckless. Kenshirou will use every tactic from his years of training to ensure that anyone who may wish to bring harm to Musashi, gets no chance to do so.
