keindox, also known as hexdox, is an othellic-in-nature (link) term for when one’s gender simultaneously is and is not kenochoric-in-nature (link) or kenic-aligned. one’s relation to being a hex, omen, or kenic-aligned feels paradoxical.

"keindox" is derived from "KEIN" meaning "kenochoric-in-nature" and "-dox" from paradox. "hexdox" is derived from "hex," the kenochoric equivalent to the word "boy" or "girl."

a KEIN (kenochoric-in-nature) gender related to old, haunted TVs and radios. it brings to mind glitched screens, both visual and audio static, paranormal activity, and a feeling of profound liminality yet a strange amount of comfort. this gender may feel possessed, mysterious, interfered with, or intercepted by unknown forces.

the name osnámedic comes from the words ‘osnádúrtha’, irish for supernatural/otherworldly, and ‘media’. the flag was inspired by old TVs and the fairly common depiction of RGB-coloured glitchy screens. there will eventually be a simplified flag lol, so don’t worry :)
