JUJUTSU KAISEN ― kenjaku , "matching wounds." , part 1 (?)

Pure life is boring, in the eyes of a dull man.

Lacking light, Kenjaku lacks morals and only the need to satisfy his hunger for the need for humanity's unreachable limit, and what could be pushed far, far away.

Kenjaku's witnessed the evolution of humanity for centuries. The rise of the rich, and the fall of the lesser known. Kenjaku has no play in that, nor does he have the intention to become a chess piece in the play. Kenjaku thrives on results, and he'll do whatever it takes to get one.

A result is always a result.

For one, he's seen you in one of his 'lives' before. For the first time, you were untainted. Pure, full of life and lack of malice, a kind and forgiving angel. but he was not, the body he possessed during that time was one that belonged to one of the worst sorcerers in mankind, a label stamped on the body for years to go on.

and yet you welcomed him with open arms and a smile. Invited him for tea and a talk, and he would go on hours and hours talking to you. That was his first result in what he believed was pure love.

That was one stitch.

The second life, when he was still in the same body, you were different than the previous life, but your soul tied its fingers with his. You were untainted still, but you lacked life and lacked any malice too, neither evil nor kind. You didn't welcome him with open arms that life, but you trusted him enough to let him in your house for a day or two. another result.

Another stitch.

The third life, you were tainted.

Born in a sorcerer family, all you saw was blood being shed, and yet your soul remains forever intertwined with his, no matter how hard you've tried to sever it with your hands alone that used to hold his. This time, you weren't stupid. You knew who he was, and he knew that as well.

But it was still a result.

Another stitch, and then, another, and then, another.
