Leoichi but make it Oblivious x Oblivious

It was a fight at first sight.

Yuichi Usagi and his friends were running away from Big Mama. They went up and out of the Hidden City, but when they saw the turtles, they thought they were Big Mama’s henchmen.

It reminded Usagi of Miyamoto Usagi’s adventures of fighting ninjas. 

Usagi was first drawn to the one wielding swords. 

“Ohohoho! Bunny wants to play!” was the first words Leo ever said to him as their swords clashed.

Usagi scowled. “I don’t play, but when I do,” his voice went deeper, “I always win,” just like how his ancestor would do. Probably.

The groans were far louder this time. It was because it wasn’t only Gen, Chizu, and Kitsune who were doing it. 

“This isn’t one of your comics, Usagi!”

“Oh Galileo Galilei, there’s two of them!” said the purple one.

But Usagi wasn’t listening because there was a reluctant but growing delight in the turtle’s eyes (back when Usagi hadn’t known what he was carrying)

When the big plot was done, and they had to go home, the turtles and their group stayed in touch. 

It was Yuichi Usagi who introduced Leo to the Usagi Yojimbo comics.

It was Leo who introduced Usagi to Jupiter Jim comics.

The Usagi Yojimbo comics had a good chapter on kite-making in ancient Japan, Leo wanted to cut some bamboo to make a kite for the heck of it.

They did so when they went to the Usagi farm. It somehow caught on fire. 

Everything in New York, including the Hidden City, is so big that Usagi is always craning up his neck to talk to someone.

Leo has a habit of casually draping over his brothers, and Usagi became included in it when they became friends.

When they have to talk to a yokai, Usagi noticed that Leo would try to look comfortably confident by draping an arm around his shoulders with his face side-by-side with Yuichi’s. But also to force the yokai to look at both of them.

Yuichi, who had wanted to hug Gen, Kitsune and Chizu the moment they became friends, didn’t mind. 

The yokai in question would raise a brow but not comment; when they’d notice that Usagi would slightly stand up on his toes and nuzzle from the turtle’s contact.   

Everyone thought Leo and Usagi would start dating. But Usagi was sixteen and still chasing after his ancestor’s legacy. And Leo was sixteen and still trying to “make up” for losing the key and almost destroying the world. 

But Leo and Usagi carved up a day to spend together -be it New York or Neo Edo- just to hang out and talk about comics or swords or how Leo had to always make his best guesses on turtle mutant biology based on human med books and vet books or that Yuichi’s favorite yokai to draw was the Dare Mo because they don’t have faces and faces are difficult to draw. 

Or things that Leo couldn’t confide in his family without feeling like he was burdening them, or Usagi couldn’t say to his Aunt because he was supposed to be grown now or to his friends without worrying them.

It became their own thing.

Usagi knew that his ancestor had a rival since childhood (Kenichi) who married his first love (Mariko). Usagi was thankful that if Leo was his rival in swords, they at least were friends. 

He knew it was stupid, but what if he and Leo both fell in love with the same girl just like Miyamoto and Kenichi? Usagi never bothered with the romance aspect of his ancestor’s comic biography. If there was anything the comics had taught him, love was only a hindrance to the way of the samurai. 

While meeting his own “Mariko” sounded nice once he would choose to settle down, Usagi found himself thinking about his own “Kenichi” more.  

Usagi found out Leo was gay. Leo shrugged and said he just didn’t feel like wanting to date yet. The fact that Leo’s only reference to romance was his father’s doomed affair didn’t help with wanting to commit that way outside his family.

Usagi wondered if they would still have one weekend to themselves if Leo began to date. 

Usagi once saw Leo turning on the “Leo charm” to persuade someone to give them info. Usagi didn’t like it but kept it to himself. 

Leo noticed it anyway. Because Usagi’s foot was thumping irritably.

Usagi mellowed a bit after Leo told him that he wasn’t being serious, the guy wasn’t even that cute, and that Usagi would always be his best friend. 

Usagi was about to tease, “Do you like me?” like he did with Chizu after she hugged him in relief. For some reason, he found himself hesitating. 

He never asked.

In a true Yuichi Usagi fashion, Usagi one night worried what if he also liked boys and he and Leo would fight over the same boy?!

Mikey's birthday is December 7th. He is a Sagittarius ♐️

Personality traits -

Mikey is brash, rude, impatient, ambitious, creative, violent, snarky, egotistical, aggressive, erratic, jealous, self-centered, and hypocritical.

Mikey is the definition of a troll. He likes saying hurtful and offensive things to get attention from people, or hurt others. He actually rarely morally agrees with what he says, though.

Mikey is quick to violence, and would absolutely rather throw a punch then waste his time getting annoyed by someone.

Mikey tends to throw his weight around a lot, as he knows he is able to win any fight he gets into. Physical intimidation is his favorite past time.

Mikey only shows a nicer side of himself with his family and, rarely, Kenichi. He's more playful, and loves giving his brothers shit and teasing them.

Mikey is an extremely jealous person, and will absolutely maim anyone who dare even look at His People. He likes being the center of his loved one's attention.

Mikey is a hypocrite, as almost any opinion, moral standing, or action he takes, is often contradictory. As example, he is a compulsive liar, but also hates liars.

Mikey loves art and drawing, and has a very creative mind. He is a fast learner with it too, and can pick up on many different mediums and styles quickly.

His Collar -

His collar was originally put on at 13.

Mikey's collar is made of a mystic metal that was provided and forged by Draxum.

The collar has magical properties, such as growing alongside Mikey. This prevents him from being choked by it as he grows. It also does not chafe his neck, even though it fits snuggly, so there is no scarring.

The collar cannot be taken off unless Draxum specifically removes it. It does not scratch, tarnish, dent, or rust.

His relationship with Big Mama -

He is a Mama's boy. He adores his mother and spends a lot of time with her.

He listens to everything BM says and is often compared to an obedient puppy by his brothers.

Mikey may tend to get frustrated with BM occasionally, but he still loves her and will often forget about it quickly.

BM is the one who provides most of the drugs/alcohol Mikey consumes.

Mikey has free rein of BM's bank account and loves spending her money.

Mikey is often 'in the know' about BM's darker business practices, as he's directly involved in them or interacts with the people involved in them.

His drug use -

Mikey has been using drugs/drinking since about 9 years of age.

He first began using hard drugs at the age of 13, as a 'celebration' of getting his collar and officially joining the Nexus.

He has an extremely high tolerance, and often needs to consume extreme amounts of any substance to feel a buzz.

When Mikey is fully drunk/high, he often tends to swing between extremely affectionate to extremely violent on a dime. He also will likely be more emotional, and is known to cry a lot.

His mystic powers -

Mikey has an extreme amount of mystic energy. The flame on his mask is mystic, and is a way to vent out excess energy so it doesn't build and become a ticking time bomb.

If his mask is not avaliable, typically an object near Mikey will combust within around 10-20 minutes of being near him.

Mikey can control the fire, including heat, brightness, and whether it spreads or not. If he is emotional, this control lessens, and the fire is at risk of burning someone or something.

Mikey's collar also doubles as a way to control and harness the mystic energy.

Mikey isn't exactly aware of his mystic powers. Well, he is, he just doesn't really care, and hasn't attempted to learn more about them.

His relationship with Kenichi -

Mikey and Kenichi are close friends.

They originally bonded over their mutual hatred of Usagi and Leo being together.

The two often play-fight. Mikey goes easy on Kenichi, but Kenichi is still always proud of himself if he manages to get a good hit in.

The two often argue about their views of Usagi. Kenichi dislikes Mikey's harassment, and Mikey excuses it as 'just a joke.'

Mikey is an asshole to Kenichi, but Kenichi is aware that that is just how Mikey acts, and doesn't take his words personally.

Mikey calls Kenichi 'leftie', 'breeder', 'fluff', 'fatass', and more.

His hatred of Usagi -

Mikey hates Usagi because he believes Usagi is manipulating Leo and stealing all his time and attention.

Mikey slut-shames Usagi constantly. This is mainly based in the stereotypes that rabbits constantly breed, and Mikey figured out that it bothered Usagi.

Mikey bullies and harassed Usagi constantly. This often comes in the form of drawing provocative, crude, and offensive art of Usagi for Usagi to find. He'll also scream at, berate, and attempt to harm Usagi. Leo doesn't let Mikey harm Usagi, but that doesn't stop Mikey from trying.

His fame -

Mikey is considered famous in the Hidden City, and within the modern yokai world. He's mostly akin to an influencer.

Mikey doesn't like taking photos or giving out his signature and will only do so if forced by Big Mama. Any other time, he may shove the fan away or break the camera/writing utensil being used.

Mikey posts often on yokai social media's but is still extremely private about where he is located or who he is with.

Mikey has extremely vocal haters, as well as extremely vocal fans. He enjoys sending his fans on witch-hunts or harassing people who don't like him.

Mikey doesn't do sponsorships unless forced to by Big Mama. He doesn't ever care about what he is endorsing.

Mikey likes things like edits/fanfictions/art/threads bc he thinks they're funny to laugh at.

His role in the Battle Nexus -

Mikey mostly preforms as a rodeo clown/jester of sorts in fights. He entertains the crowd, through jokes and skits. He rarely gets involved in actual fights, unless it's to anger either competitor or get them fighting eachother.

Mikey may also actually fight, when needing to defend his role as champion. These fights are huge for publicity, and are City-wide events.

He's also often involved in interviews and PR about the Battle Nexus. He doesn't enjoy this, but BM forces him to do it.

He is not involved in off-shoots of the Battle Nexus, such as the Street Brawl.

Mikey may also do acrobatic half-time or opening shows, which act somewhat like a circus. He does stunts, tricks, and more in this time.

Fun facts -

Mikey's favorite food is Korean hot pot, and his favorite drink is either apple bourbon or any type of juice.

Mikey hates liars, but is known to lie often himself.

Mikey hates being late to things he cares about, and is always punctual to his Nexus battles. If he's late to something, you know he doesn't want to go.

Mikey prefers traditional art, and his favorite medium is marker/ink.

Mikey loves wearing clothes, but refuses to wear shirts or shoes.

Mikey is extremely good at crying on cue, and uses this to manipulate Splinter and BM to get what he wants. Mikey's siblings have learned when he is fake crying, so they don't take him seriously.

Mikey has a habit of rubbing/wiping at his nose with his hand. He's used to his nose running/bleeding because of cocaine use, and it became a stim of his.

Mikey's right molars and premolars are golden. His original teeth got pulled out after a dare-gone-wrong, and Donnie replaced them with gold-coated lead.

You mentioned in a post that Taro Kudo worked at Telenet and I'm curious which games he worked on, given that I wasn't able to find out any info on that (as opposed to fellow Telenet to Square to Lovedelic dev Kenichi Nishi, who I could easily find info on his Telenet work)

To my knowledge, Kudo was never credited in any Telenet production. The source for this information is this interview (Japanese only) where he states that he had worked there between leaving Konami and joining Square. Axelay launched in late 1992 and Super Mario RPG's development began in early 1994. One can estimate that he worked there for an uncertain amount of time during the year 1993. He also says his experience there was mostly a leisurely one, with little actual time spent working, which indicates that he may not have been assigned to any ongoing project. Info on Garcello for the Revival AU

((For some reason Gar’s kinda been my focus the last few days, so I’m gonna do an info dump on Garcello for the Revival AU, these’ll also be involved in my stories down the line))

* currently, Garcello is 28 years old

* Garcello still has his bear Beetle-Bear from his childhood

* Beetle-Bear has a small thermos hidden inside him, containing some pretty important documents regarding Garcy’s adoption. (this’ll be important down the line)

*Garcello has some abilities given to him by King, one of which being the ability to possess others.

* Because of this, it’s impossible to possess Garcello under any circumstance.

* However, if a situation calls for it, he will let someone possess him to handle the situation, as long as it doesn’t leave any nasty side effects.

* So far, Gar has possessed both Axol and Annie (with their consent)

* The reason why is they trust him enough, having no secrets to hide amongst the three of them

* Garcello however has had to possess Mario and Bob as payback for certain reasons

* In Mario’s case, it was because he kept trying to break into his kitchen

* Bob, he stole Gar’s pot brownies ... again

* Garcello does know how to make pot brownies. He learned from Sheridan years ago. He used to sell them to the stoner kids in high school for a buck a piece.

* Lucks had no idea, as Gar left his earnings with Sheridan

* Regarding possessing anyone else in the crew, Gar did try possessing Luigi as a dare.

* it did not go well

* Luigi was crying while Garcello was apologizing profusely.

* Mario found it hilarious, until Annie threw him in the trash

* Regarding the pot brownies, Gar makes them if he needs the buzz, though more often than not Bob steals them right from his fridge.

* Once Gar, Axol, and Niles all got high off them during a camping trip. Melony and Annie thought it was hysterical.

* Was more hysterical when Whimpu got high.

* The gang had to hide the brownies from JubJub and Spudnick though.

Because of what happened before he died, regarding Lucks, Theo, Tari and Sheridan, Garcello promised himself he’d never lose another friend again, no matter what.

* (forgot to mention this) Gar has a somewhat sixth sense, where he can tell if one of his friends is acting strange or off, basically, he can tell when someone’s being possessed and find the one doing so. Because of this and his protective nature he gets angry real fast

* When Garcy’s pissed, he somehow sounds just like Lucks, which surprised Annie the first time she saw him real pissed

* Garcello does have Lucks’s gun, the same one that shot his father. It was left to him by Lucks but he rarely if ever uses it, for obvious reasons.

* Because of his ability to go ghost, he can also go invisible

* When dealing with an enemy who has his friends under their control, he’s like Beetlejuice from the musical in his ghost form. Annie finds it hilarious.

* Gar’s a fan of Iron Chef (original) and watched it as a kid with Lucks. He found the series again airing reruns back in March of this year and relives the nostalgia

* while dead, he and Axol met Iron Chef Italian Kobe (was shocked to learn he died) who was kind enough to teach the boys to cook.

* Garcello did not take this news well, he had no idea Kobe had died.

* Garcello didn’t take the news that Iron Chef Chinese, Chen Kenichi died all that well either (this was during the It’s Gotta Be Perfect Livestream back in March, as Chen died on my birthday...)

* Garcello’s fluent in Japanese, Italian, French, and Spanish, he also knows sign language.

* Despite Axol having a melon god for a fiancé, Garcello’s very protective of his bro, same for Masa and Annie.

* Both Garcello and Axol hope that Lucks would okay an adult adoption for Axol to legally join the family.

* During the events of Western Spaghetti, Garcello knew what Wren was doing curtesy of a special pair of glasses that he still had from when he was alive.

* Instead of trying to break out however, Gar decided to join Wren and befriend him, despite knowing what Wren was doing to poor Meggy

* Oddly enough, it worked, and Wren began to trust Garcello more, not knowing about him and Tari working on a plan to escape.

* During their time in the simulation, Garcello, Wren, and the others (minus Meggy because obvious) would do funny stuff together, mostly on nights where Wren would make everyone like him, or have everyone cut loose. One thing Gar told him of was Hoedowns from Whose Line

Libitina "Libby" - she's a Dark Fae, more specifically of raven descent - her VA would be Takahashi Rie - she would have a British accent/she would be British - she has a bubbly personality, yet gives off an unpredictable air - she stands at 158cm (5'2"); she appears to be in her early 20's Quote: "Would you like to be friends?"

Dr. Sullivan - human?? 👁️👁️ - his VA would be Naoya Uchida (Madara Uchiha) - he's a renowned doctor/surgeon at his workplace (tba) - if I had to give him a nationality, he would be German - he stands at 190cm (6'3"); he appears to be in his mid-40's Quote: "Worry not, dear. You can trust my expertise. After all, I've studied in the field for quite some time~."

Moriarty - his VA would be Yuichi Nakamura - has a knack for business, being in charge of matters such as performing deals and contracts - due to his charismatic nature, he's also in-charge of public relations - he gets bored easily, so he ends up in some form of mischief with Enyo, dragging along Nox much to the latter's chagrin - he stands at 172cm (5'8"); he's in his mid-20's Quote: "Sighs... How dull. Hey, Nox~! Let's get outta here! I know a fine restaurant nearby! Enyo's also tagging along!"
