Random tidbits about the Pekoyama Dojo
Peko was adopted by the Pekoyama Dojo
Peko reminiscence about her parents taking her to an old amusement park.
Because Peko was abandoned as a baby by her birth parents, it can be deduced all her memories regarding her parents is with her adoptive parents.
The only time she feels like smiling outside her Free Time Event, is when she is at an amusement park.
Because Peko was given the Pekoyama's family heirloom, and the obvious fact she bares the family name, you can infer that Peko's adoptive parents was from the Pekoyama Dojo on the Kuzuryus behalf.
Peko states that her dojo is not exactly a Kendo dojo. The fact that their family heirloom bears the symbol of the Kuzuryu clan mascot, the Pekoyamas were mostly likely a vassel family who served the Kuzuryus (I think the Japanese term is Kashin but don't quote me on that)
Peko's experiences at the Dojo
Just because it would be too much to screenshot, it's strongly implied that everything she did was a form of training. Peko can't take an activity at face value and see everything as a form of training. Examples include: Splitting watermelons, dropping coconuts, watching movies, going into haunted houses.
You could make the argument, because Peko was a 'tool', this was the justification to allow Peko to do normal activities.
Overall, Peko recalls only nice things about the dojo
As always, shout out to Peko's pet finch that probably hated her
Not canon in the slightest, but a moment from the manga
Mentions of Peko's childhood that may or may not be related to the dojo

The New Year 2023
I still don't follow Pro Wrestling Noah but they're doing they're biggest show of the year, so I caved in and signed up for Wrestle Universe. (It's 900 yen for a month, which works out to $6.86 US, so that seems like a good deal.) The show starts at 2am EST tonight, with English commentary, so after Americans ring in the new year they can stay up late watching wrestling.
All I really know about the show is the main event: the Great Muta vs. Shinsuke Nakamura. Muta (aka Keiji Mutoh) is a living legend in Japan and he's winding down his retirement tour. WWE has given Nakamura special permission to come in for one of Muta's final matches. It's not exactly like Shinsuke returning to New Japan, but it's about as close as we're going to get anytime soon. Mutoh is 60 years old so I'm not expecting a five-star classic, but the fact this matchup seemed impossible a couple of months ago should fill it with drama.
Here's the rest of the card:
GHC heavyweight champion Kaito Kiyomiya vs. Kenoh
GHC junior tag champions YO-HEY & Kzy vs. Yoshinari Ogawa & Eita
GHC heavyweight tag champions Takashi Sugiura & Satoshi Kojima vs. Naomichi Marufuji & KENTA
GHC junior champion AMAKUSA vs. Junta Miyawaki
Timothy Thatcher vs. Jack Morris
Masakatsu Funaki & Katsuhiko Nakajima & Manabu Soya & Hajime Ohara vs. Kazuyuki Fujita & Kendo Kashin & Rongai NOSAWA & ?
Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. & Atsushi Kotoge & Seiki Yoshioki vs. Masaaki Mochizuki & Susumu Mochizuki & Mochizuki Jr.
Ninja Mack & Dante Leon & Alejandro vs. Shuji Kondo & Tadasuke & HIROKI
Masa Kitamiya & Daiki Inaba & Yoshiki Inamura vs. Muhammad Yone & Akitoshi Saito & Shuhei Taniguchi
Yasutaka Yano vs. Taishi Ozawa

[AJPW NEWS] All Japan announced that the “Evolution” team of Suwama, Hikaru Sato & Yusuke Okada will be taking on Kazuyuki Fujita, Kendo Kashin & NOSAWA Rongai on March 25 in Saitama.
The invading trio made their presence known against Suwama on the February 3 show in Yokohama, as they assaulted Suwama. This led to Hikaru Sato and Yusuke Okada to try and aid Suwama in repel the assault. After the attack Suwama knew that he needed to recruit the two for a revived “Evolution” to enact some revenge. There has been much publicity between Suwama and Fujita over the years which stems back to their last encounter in November of 2015 during Genichiro Tenryu’s retirement show.
Then Takao Omori took part in a press conference, as he announced that he will be making his return on the March 25 show after being out with a minor neck injury in early January. Omori stated that he wants a shot at the Asia Tag Champions in Jun Akiyama and Yuji Nagata for his return match. Omori did not name who he may be teaming with, but did say that it is who he felt will be an appropriate and trustworthy partner.
This match joins the previously announced main event which will see Doering defend the Triple Crown belt against Miyahara.
All Japan Pro-Wrestling "2018 Power Dream Series", 3/25/2018 [Sun] 15:00 @ Saitama Super Arena, Community Hall
(-) Special 6 Man Tag Match: Suwama, Hikaru Sato & Yusuke Okada vs. Kazuyuki Fujita, Kendo Kashin & NOSAWA Rongai
