I have two more to draw up and here are some IG questions about Kenai and Rizzi! Also Ofir makes a minor appearance!

They are my Drenchen babies and I will get better at designing clothes for them lol

Fleur

12) Can they do splits?

Fleur is flexible enough to do splits, the bridge and that’s about it lol

19) Would they stop to look at the pretty flowers?

Oh yes! Fleur loves flowers and she could be mid sentence when she stops to admire a flower she hasn’t seen before.

21) If they had to hike up a moutain, what would their attitude be going up?

At first, Fleur’s morale would be high! She’d be excited and happy until an hour and a half passes and she’s not even half way up, then she becomes irritated and will make jokes about the pain of climbing the moutain and whose dumb idea was it in the first place (it’s definitely her idea to climb the mountain without cheating by flying)

4) It’s a sunny day outside, what is their reaction?

Kenai would run out of his house as fast as he could so he can go out for a swim or climb the ape knot trees!

32) Your OC has access to a boat and 5 million dollars, now what?

Oh goodness! Kenai is going to take his girlfriend, Quinta (she belongs to @nurloxx and she’s such a sweet character), all her siblings and Rizzi on a vacation. It’ll be crazy with all those childlings but somehow there will be some form of order. He’d also give Quinta a fair share of the money to help with her siblings, he’d visit the Vapran markets to buy all the expensive gifts he thinks his loved ones would appreciate, and buy some fancy drumsticks he can show off when he’s beating his drum!

6) Oh no, your Oc is hungry and no money, what do they do?

Although his stomach would be grumbling, Cha’l would sneak into his ship’s kitchen and make himself a little sandwich and then clean up quick so no one noticed he didn’t cook for everyone else. He’s the main chef on his ship and they wouldn’t forgive him for only whipping up something just for himself lol

15) Have they ever been kicked in the knee caps before?

One time Cha’l slipped and mentioned to Azra how short she is. Instead of slicing his knee caps she kicked him there. Cha’l never made the mistake talking about Azra’s height in her presence since lol

31) What is your Oc’s go to dance move?

Definitely salsa!

Do any of your OC's know the gelfling heroes on AoR?

Yes some of them do!

Fleur and Cha’l know Rian and Rek’yr! Being Captain Ordon’s son made Rian quite the talk of the town among the childlings in both the both areas of Stone-in-the-Wood (the inner area for Stonewood clan Gelfling only and the travelers section for many clans passing by on a journey) Fleur know Rek’yr more than Cha’l and had a huge crush on him while she journeyed the Crystal Desert.

Kiel knows Onica! Kiel can be a troll and a teaser and made hints to Onica that he knew about her relationship with Tavra. He would try to get Onica to join in his mischievous antics.

I’m still developing Kenai but I feel like he knows Naia and Gurjin; mostly Gurjin because they would have fun together before he joined the Castle Guard.

Rizzi definitely knows Naia and wants to be strong just like her!

Viara knows Kylan since she would help out Maudra Mera to prepare for the Skeksis, and she would be amazed at his song-telling. She also knows Hup, who use to work at her father’s tavern before leaving to follow his dream! They were really good friends!

Maybe more of them will but these I know definitely know our favorite heroes in AoR!

These were all done on my train rides the past two days (hence why I personally think Cha’l and Kiel look slightly off) I also added Viara because she was my second Dark Crystal Oc and she deserved to be included. Originally this was going to be most of my young adult ocs but then Ofir, Rizzi, Sera and Ortun said, “hold up! What about....us?”

I need to get back into human proportions because some of their noses are slightly off. I also have a ship I am getting tempted to draw from an anime I’ve watched and my IG feed shows me all the cutest drawings of them.

Maybe I’ll do some of the canon characters as humans. I’m afraid my interpretations of them won’t be so unique or something that hasn’t been done.

Anywho~ these are just a portion of my Gelfling (and one Podling) ocs as humans! I hope you all enjoy this!

I would be curious about "11. What is their dream pet?" for any of your OCs! I'm not very familiar with the Dark Crystal OCs people have on here, but it's cool to see everybody having fun with them!

Second, thank you! Dark Crystal Ocs are so fun! If I could I would make a series of graphic novels lol

I have a ton of Ocs but I'll write for a few that connect with this question.

Fleur: Tumbeloths! She and her boyfriend have two. One was his surprise gift to her (but this tumbeloth Jujubee loves Razer more). The second is Jujubee's mate who they adopted into the family (his name is Fabio, and he likes Fleur more lol

For a long time Fleur wanted a Crystal Skimmer but that will be a dream to dream.

Cha'l: Muski and Fizzgig. Growing up Cha'l had a family Fizzgig named Piff but he would like one that is his own. He and his girlfriend/fiancé were on a quest to find a Muski. The Musli is more of her dream pet but Cha'l gets excited for her and the adventure they have.

Kiel: Lunarkin! As a childling he had a plush Lunarkin and boy did he love it! It became his favorite animal and by Thra he wanted one. But he knows it's impossible to own one so he and his partner, Sammi, enjoy watching them when they can.

Azra: Awlis (I hope I got the spelling right, it's the big black bird that can pick up an adult Podling) She wants one solely for that reason and because they look scary, Azra loves scary/frightening and creepy crawlies. She also would like to at least befriend a Ruswha, a predatory fish. She does own two Gigantic centipede-esque creatures and they are her babies.

Ofir: Literally anything fuzzy and cool tempered. Don't tell Piff though she will get jealous.

Tore: Rakkida. He just wants to be a show-off but isn't capable of dedicating time to any pet. He's also pretty scared of them but wants to one-up or be equal to Eri.

Elkie: A Hollarbat. She loves their colors but she doesn't know how to go about adopting one in the wild, yet.

Kenai: Pluff'M. He loves their colors and big eyes. He also fancies the idea of teaching it how to play the drums as well so they could put on performances for his girlfriend Quinta and her siblings.

I might reblog this answer with some of the others. I'm away from my Bestiary book at the moment and I got an idea for another Oc.

@accursed-one SwampRoots at their finest! I see Kenai doing that a lot! I can imagine that Kenai makes baking difficult to do sometimes lol

Like, he’d create playful mischief when he helps her cook like toss flour or putting jam on her nose. But he knows how much work Quinta has to deal with and always volunteers to clean up the mess.

May I introduce my Drenchen Gelfling Rizzi and Kenai! Also a colored Ofir (Bhihaar’s genes are strong and only Cha’l came out looking like a mix of both he and Maeve lol)

Rizzi is a sweet Childling who loves flowers and animals as well as taking part in many sports activities! She and Ofir become friends prior to the events in AoR. They hit it off really well and enjoyed playing around during his and EnchantedSandstorm’s visit to the Swamp of Sog. The second image is what she and Ofir look like as teenlings when they reconnect during the Garthim Wars.

Kenai is a super chill guy who is a musician and his preferred instrument are the drums, which he plays throughout the day at the Great Smerth. When he’s not on his shift, he’s at home getting high as a kite or creating tunes to show off to his friends. He is one of Shiyoon, who belongs to @myfanartblogplusshippingtrash , ex boyfriends but the two of them are still friends. He’s shorter than the average Drenchen but he makes it work lol

I had done IG questions again! Here are the ones with @nurloxx Ocs Quinta and Eri

My Oc Kenai and Nurloxx’s Oc Quinta are in a ship, it’s SwampRoots and I love it! They look so cute together!!!!

Fleur and Eri are great friends and this little sketch makes me sad because, goodness this has to hit hard.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers/mother figures of our lives.

This took me so long to complete but here it is!

From the top we have Maeve kissing Ofir goodnight. He’s her youngest and her little prince. Ofir makes Maeve feel young and she loves raising a young childling again!

Captain Sera can’t have childlings so all of her crewmates see her as a mother figure, especially the ones who are without any parental figures. She later learns of another way of having a childling of her own thanks to WanderingSails, but for now she is content with her found family of crewmates.

Azra didn’t grow up with either parents because they had died during a fatal ship wreck. Her grandmother is the closest Gelfling she has to a biological mom. The two of them are super close and she gets to see a side to Azra very few Gelfling get to see.

Quinta belongs to @nurloxx and Kenai is her loving boyfriend. The baby in her arms is her little sister Zora, who sees Quinta and Kenai as her parents. I love their relationship so much!

Shiyoon and Cha’l have already begun their big family lol The childling on top of Cha’l’s shoulders is Keziah who belongs to @everadream EnchantedSandstorms has some of the most mischievous childlings and their family is so entertaining.

Fleur and Razer are the happy parents to their Tumbeloth, Jujubee! There's another Tumbeloth they have named Fabio (Jujubee's mate) but I couldn't fit him in nicely. We'll see what the future holds for them, 👀

And finally we have Sammi and Kiel who have created a found family. Here Sammi is teaching they and Kiel's adopted daughters how to fly. Kiel is here because this is a moment Kiel didn't want to miss (the boys are being watched by Azra lol) and he can't pass up the chance of getting flown in Sammi's arms (it's not everyday the smol can look down on from high heights lol) WanderingSails also has a lively family and we will definitely be seeing them! In this piece they're with Zuri (Spriton), Ula (Sifa) and Cinder (Grottan)
