Things we know about Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom so far (no spoilers)
The working title of the film is Necrus so one can assume the Lost Kingdom is Necrus
The film takes heavy inspiration from the 1965 film Planet of the Vampires
It is also inspired by silver age Aquaman
The first movie takes place in 2018, so we can assume the second takes place in the present. Roughly five years have passed in between films.
Characters confirmed to return: Arthur, Orm, Mera, Manta, Atlanna, Tom, Nereus, Dr. Shin, Topo, and Atlan
Aquaman 2 is a brothers journey and (mostly) a buddy comedy with Arthur and Orm
Arthur and Orm’s relationship is critical, they team up to stop Manta from destroying Atlantis and the world
Manta now has an ancient magical power which is taking over him. He also has an army, robots, and a giant ship
Creature designer Ken Barthelmey says “I’ve never designed so many different creatures and characters for a movie yet.”
Aquababy (Arthur Jr.) is in the film
Other characters joining the cast includes Karshon & Stingray (who is an original character for the film)

I looked into some artists that created creatures and I found this. This really appealed to me as the artist is very creative and has a lot of different designs of creatures.
I took ideas as the artist created creatures that were humanoid as well as four legged monsters with animals like features. They all have distinctive skin and frames.
