Work in progress. The character is now fully rigged, but I need to do some fine tuning. Currently, the outfit feels a bit too basic, so I’m exploring some new designs to add more personality.

Some of my character/costume designs & models for the Riven remake!

When I joined Cyan last year it was primarily to figure out what the next game was going to be—I was going to letter the journals for Riven, sure, but then buckle down and focus on the company's future. But it turns out when you're a tiny indie studio, and your entire art team is swamped, and you have a ship day LOOMING in the not-so-distant future, maaaaaaybe it makes sense for Claire to stretch her concept/3D legs and fill in some gaps. 😅

I did a full game ready 3D model of April!

I originally modeled the character as practice on my free time, and later rigged and animated her for my game dev studies. Really happy with how she came out especially since this was one of my first Blender projects!

I decided to model what I think Donkey Kong's "Mario Style" redesign will look like based on the blurry footage from the Switch 2 reveal. It probably won't have particle fur like this, that was mostly to hide the seams, since I made his limbs as disconnected blobs.

Pirwa Character based on Aphelion by @vrylium Tried to convey the features and characteristics of her appearance as much as possible. Still there is a feeling that maybe she needs more piercings, more tattoos to exaggerate the image. -Usually when posing 3D models their mouth is closed, but in Pirwa's case it was deliberately left open.-
