Typically, the angel tried his best to be a beacon of positivity. Or more, it was unavoidable for him. Even without a direct connection to heaven these days, Aziraphale wanted to do GOOD. Whether it was as simple as doing a good deed to a stranger, or letting Maggie run the record shop without paying rent. It was the little things, the humane miracles, that kept his positivity afloat.

However, situations like this hardly allowed for much positivity to seep through. There's a frown tugging at the corners of his mouth, a buzz running through his veins that leaves Aziraphale pointlessly organising one of his bookshelves.

It was funny. The angel could face armageddon, demons, heavens authority – all sorts of challenges, ranging from simply bizarre to considerably dangerous. Yet, Aziraphale is bothered by this. Of all things!

A heavy sigh escapes his lips. Aziraphale turns to face Kemule, book still in hand. "It's just.. I think I've upset him. But I simply have no idea what happened." There's bewilderment clear within his voice, his expression. Aziraphale didn't see how it could be okay, how he could FIX something, when he didn't know what had caused it!

"Apologies, I'm sure you don't need to hear about my silly problems. I suppose you're right... it'll be fine." The book is placed back onto the shelf with a small 'thud.' "Was there something you needed from me?"

Gladi Bersih Berumah Tangga

Setelah meletakkan tas di bangku tepi sungai, ia sudah ilang dari pandangan. Kusisir pandanganku sampai tepi lapangan dan sudut-sudut nylempit demi tau keberadaannya. Setiti dan hati-hati, teliti menyensor anak berbaju putih. Semua indera kuoptimalkan. Dan mataku menangkap objek putih bergerak menuju tengah sungai dengan senyum sumringah di wajahnya. Sesumringah air merambat naik lewat medium kain celananya, seperti minyak tanah yang merambati sumbu lampu teplok, hampir separuh basah.

Kupanggil ia untuk naik ke tepi sungai, sembari kusodorkan celana pendek. Hanya itu bekalnya, dan selembar kaos polo berwarna merah.

Ia lantas cekatan mengganti kostum untuk tampil di antara ikan-ikan cethol dan batu kali. Melenggang kangkung mencicipi tiap morfologi sungai. Memindahkan batu-batu dan menyusun bertingkat. Seperti ingin menyaingi menara Eifel, atau bendungan Kariba.

Anak itu gigih mengumpulkan batu-batu. O, tapi jangan pernah lupa, Ferguso: kita sedang di Indonesia yang proyek-proyek serupa kerap dibiarkan mangkrak dan paling banter dikorupsi. Sebab, terakhir kali nenek moyang mereka, Si Bandung Bondowoso, nggarap proyek seribu candi dalam semalam malah dikibuli bos-nya, Roro Jonggrang. Wkwkwkw.

Jadi kita warisi saja semangat memangkrak-kan susunan batu-batu dan berciblon ria. Sementara aku pacaran dengan Mbak Ira, kakak tertuamu, sembari senyam-senyum menerawang masa depan anak kami yang kelak berciblon ria pula di sungai kecil di Ledok Sambi. Seperti dirimu hari ini. Dan kalau dirimu ikut, akan dipanggil "om" oleh si Lantang atau Lintang atau keduanya.

Saat hujan mulai turun dan di atas sana awan terlihat mendung hebat, lekas-lekas kakakmu menyelamatkanmu dari banjir bandang, sekaligus menyelamatkan dari masuk angin. Apa yang lebih menyenangkan bebersih diri di bawah air keran dan menikmati teh hangat setelahnya (?) Iya, sayang seribu sayang, kentang goreng dan pisang kemul kita datang terlambat. Amat sangat. Atas nama "tadi sudah jalan dan nggak ketemu", pramusaji itu bersembunyi di baliknya. Padahal tak pernah diider orderan snack kita ke titik seperti teh poci diantarkan. Belakangan, pramusaji terakhir mengaku nota dan label nama pemesannya ketlingsut. :))

Tapi hujan tak kunjung mereda. Hari mulai gelap, lampu-lampu sudah dinyalakan, dan matahari berangsur tergelincir ke barat. Kita harus pulang sebelum benar-benar gelap. Jadilah kita membelah badai. Saling dekap di bawah selembar jas hujan kepunyaan kakakmu.

Kakakmu kuyup, pun wajahku seperti mendapat terapi akupuntur geratis. Nampani hujan deras yang turunnya keroyokan. Sementara kepalamu teklak-tekluk kesana kemari lunglai tak terkendali. Ya, enak bukan tertidur di tengah-tengah kami yang kehujanan (?) wkwkwkw. Demikian aku takzim, barangkali di luar sana banyak anak-anak seumuranmu yang jika kehujanan menerjang badai banyak mengeluh. Tapi Fazar tidur dong :)) sampai tak sekata keluh pun keluar terucap. Sebaik-baik bersyukur atas keadaan.

The Complete English Puyo Puyo Experience (as of 8/20/23)

Here is a link to what should be a complete collection of translated Madou Monogatari and Puyo Puyo games to emulate that I’ve compiled.

Some things to note:

– CHECK THE README FILES IN EACH FOLDER, they will tell you which system each game can be played on in that folder and its sub-folders

– Pocket Puyo Puyo~n does not have an English patch, but @precisemuseum​ translated it and put it on YouTube here; follow them because they’re constantly translating new Puyo Puyo content

– Fever 2, Arle’s Adventure, and Arle no Roux are unfinished, but still playable

– Puyo Puyo Fever for the Dreamcast is in Japanese, but you can choose to play in English if you navigate the Japanese menus correctly; on the main menu, choose “おぷしょん;” press down until you select “ことば;” press right on the first option, which also says “ことば” (日本語 should switch to 英語); if you would also like to switch to English voices, do the same to the option below, which should say “おんせい”

– The Disc Station games are not translated to English, but the ones I’ve included have little to no Japanese except for the story modes but the dialogue can usually be skipped with the Esc key; these games are playable on Windows, but they may have issues running in full screen, in an English locale, or both; I use DxWnd to force it to play in windowed (which you can set to full screen when selecting the path, this allows you to play it in full screen); if it still doesn’t work use Locale Emulator to set the game’s locale to Japanese without having to change it for your entire computer

– Kikimora’s Cleaning is the only game in that folder that doesn’t run on Windows, so download Neko Project II, T98-Next, or Anex86 from the emulators folder (some emulators are more demanding on computers, but are more accurate, so the order of highest accuracy to highest performance would be Neko Project II > T98-Next > Anex86; Anex86 has noticeably worse sound quality than the others, so only use it if your computer can’t handle the others); these should be pre-configured to make using them easier, but search the Internet for help if you are having any trouble; for games that end in .hdi, use hard disk drives (HDD); for games that end in .fdi, use floppy disk drives (FDD)

– Madou Monogatari 1-2-3 also needs to be played on a PC-98 emulator; the roms for 1, 2, and 3 are all included for completion, but only 1 has been translated; to play Madou 1 on the PC-98, you have to insert “Madou Monogatari 1-2-3 (#1 System disk).hdm” into FDD1 and “Madou Monogatari 1-2-3 (#1 Sampling disk).hdm” into FDD2; I haven’t been able to figure out what the “data disk” does, but I still included it, so if anyone figures out what that file is for, please let me know

– If using Neko Project II you should always open np21nt.exe, navigate to the drive that matches the rom you want to open, open, and load the game file from whatever folder it’s in; if the menus aren’t shown in the top bar, right click to bring them up; when you load a new disk, navigate to Emulate from the menu and click Reset and the emulator will boot up the new rom

– If using T98 click on the drive that matches the rom you want to open, load the game file from whatever folder it’s in, and press the start (top left) button

– If using Anex86 click on the ellipses next to the drive that matches the rom you want to open, load the game file from whatever folder it’s in, and press the start button

– I have provided two other unconventional emulators, one for Puyo Pop (N-Gage with EKA2L1 emulator) and the other for Puyo Pop Fever DX (Java Phones with KEmulator - download Java Runtime too if you don’t have it); these should also be pre-configured, but the same suggestion applies; these games are bad and were only included as curiosities to be preserved

– It would be better to get a clean Japanese rom of Chronicle and patch it yourself (especially if you’re planning on running it on original hardware) as the prepatched rom is not up to date and does not include the DLC or other mods

– Puyo Pop Fever arcade (for the Sega Naomi) is a bit confusing to get working, so extract the contents of the puyofev zip into a folder also named puyofev; if the folder contains another folder named puyofev and a zip named puyofev (like this), you can download Flycast and the Sega Naomi bios to play it

– None of the current- or last-gen console games are included, but Puyo Puyo Tetris, Puyo Puyo Tetris 2, and Puyo Puyo Champions can be purchased from Steam (please support the official releases!)

– Puyo Puyo also has a mobile game called Puyo Puyo Quest; it is not in English, but there are resources online to help you play it if you can’t read Japanese (Puyo Nexus is particularly helpful as well as providing information for everything else Puyo Puyo)

– If there are problems with any of the folders I’ve included (my own data accidentally being included, one of the games not working, etc.) please let me know

– This post will be updated as more translation hacks are released

Kita satu keluarga ,tapi jarang foto bersama 🤭,sebenarnya lukisan ilustrasi ini diambil dari beberapa foto yang disatukan.Sengaja berlatar 2 backgroud ,hijaunya pemandangan sawah di kota dingin wonosobo ,dan indahnya pantai dan batu karang di pulau Bali.Lukisan ini menceritakan dimana diriku merantau di seberang pulau jawa,yang pulang setahun sekali ,bahkan bisa lebih dari setahun.Dan jarang berkumpul dengan keluarga ,iseng iseng bikin lukisan ini supaya kelihatan liburan keluarga .heheh

Aku selalu merindukan setiap kenangan tentang rumah dan segala obrolan bersama pae ,mae dan adikku siska.Walaupun saat pulang kerumah aku sering menolak untuk makan di meja makan bersama ,bukan karena sombong dan tidak mau berkumpul ,tapi aku lebih suka makan lesehan 😄.lebih ademm heheh

Kalau aku mau pulang k rumah pasti selalu ditanyain mau dimasakin apa ,dannn aku selalu minta di masakin gule atau tongseng kambing ,yahh itu salah makanan favorite aku dari dulu selain martabak telur.

Kalau dirumah ,setiap pagi pae selalu bangunin aku pagi pagi ,buat solat subuh ,berjamaah .Yahh kalau g dibangunin kadang jadi kelewat ,makhlum aku soalnya hobinya tidur 🤭😂.

Terus pas sarapan kita pasti makan megono sama tempe kemul bareng -bareng.huhuhu rindu rumah jadinya 😭.

Rindu pingin curhat-curhatan sama adekku ,ngebahas kenakalan dan moment moment lucu saat kecil ,yang membuat kami kadang g percaya ,kalau waktu kecil ngelakuin hal sekonyol itu ,sambil minum teh dan nyemil kue.

Udah lama g pulang kerumah ,kok jadi kangen ya ....,pingin pulang tapi nunggu waktu yang tepat dulu.Semoga covid 19 cepat selesai.Supaya bisa kumpul bersama keluarga lagi 😇.

Tentang Wonosobo #Positivi-tea 20

Haai!

Setelah molor dan ngadat nulis karena satu dan lain hal (kebanyakan alesan sih), akhirnya aku melanjutkan nulis lagi. Karena sebenernya bingung mau ngomongin apa, kita ngobrolin soal wonosobo deh ya. Udah lama banget stay dirumah, jadi kalo mau ngomongin wonosobo keknya pas juga

Okay, jadii sebenernya apa hal-hal yang aku suka banget dari this small town yang ngga aku dapetin di tempat lain.

Yang pertama, ini bukan hal favorit tapi mungkin lebih kayak fun fact, jadi kecamatan aku, kecamatan kertek ini punya kebijakan untuk ngga menerima toko-toko selain dari orang lokal sendiri. Contoh langsung nya nih ngga nerima ind*maret dkk buat masuk. Ini sebuah usaha gitu, biar usaha UMKM tetep bisa jalan, pasar tetep laku dan pengusaha lokal bisa terlindungi.

Dan aku rasa itu keren aja gitu, gimana masyarakatnya bersatu kompak buat ngejaga kepentingan bareng-bareng. Jadi iya, ngga ada ind*maret atau sejenisnya di kecamatanku dan i’m pretty ok with that.

Yang kedua, i don’t know about the other town tapi disini kita punya kebiasaan gitu tiap sore, adalah gorengan time. Dan gorengannya adalah tempe kemul, ini kayak gorengan yang adanya di wonosobo aja. Warnanya kuning, ada kecai nya dan tempe nya enak banget huhuhu. Ini kayak makanan paling kukangenin kalau lagi ngga dirumah. Ini bener-bener konsumsi harian masyarakat kertek hahaha ngga sehat banget! Apalagi kalau hari biasa, bukan ramadan, sarapannya orang kertek adalah nasi megono dan tempe kemul ini. Pagi, siang, sore tempe kemul dimana-mana. Tapi serius, seenak itu!

Yang ketiga, aku suka banget cuacanya. Paling ngga bisa tahan sama cuaca panas soalnya rasanya bikin emosi meledak-ledak. Jadi suka banget sama hawa sejuknya Wonosobo. Sebenernya udah ga sedingin dulu-dulu, tapi tetep nyaman banget. Tapi kelemahannya adalah bikin mager, selimutan jadi nyaman banget sepanjang hari...

Yang keempat, mungkin karena wonosobo minim banget hiburan-hiburan mainstream let’s say mall and stuffs, jadi rasanya kalau ada hiburan tempat nongkrong dikit aja, tempat kumpul lucu dikit aja tuh rasanya seru banget. Hahaha, jadi hal-hal yang kayak biasa aja dikota lain jadi kerasa lebih menarik pas ada di wonosobo. And i like it

Well that’s it for now i guess. It’s acttually really fun to live in small town. Kayak rasanya satu kota saling terhubung gitu, tapi ngga buat sekolah yah, masih minim opsi dan masih banyak keterbatasan dibanding dikota besar tentu aja. Klasik sihh.

Tapi bersyukur banget tinggal di kota yang nyenengin banget buat tinggal kek gini, nyaman dan cukup aja gitu rasanya.
