We were called out to this property where their water bill was higher than normal. We carried out visual inspection under house & found no signs of burst water pipeline under house. We heard water running through Rinnai water heater outside kitchen. When we turned water supply off to Rinnai water heater the noise would stop. We found a hot water pipeline ran between Rinnai water heater, underground to rear ensuite bathroom. The burst water pipeline was located underground. We discussed with the customer that it would be more economical to run new water pipeline from Rinnai water heater to rear ensuite bathroom. We were called out by this customer who had severe paint bubbling & water leaking through wall into bedroom from shower/bath area. There was also water leaking from behind tapware of shower/bath. We carefully removed tiles from around shower/bath taps & pipework. We then jackhammered cement from around water pipelines to expose broken soldered joint at hot water connection to bath taps. We cut out pipelines & connections to bath & shower. We installed brand new shower & bath pipelines & connected using KEMPRESS fittings. After crawling through the sub floor of house we found a welded terminated copper pipe was leaking quite badly.
