I have officially begun the Plo Koon Study akin to Castis Vakarian's Turian Study [6]. The Turian study isn't on hold, but I'm going to juggle all the daddies in a not so fixed schedule lol.

As I am sickly-stressy-depressy, I figured giving myself a treat in the form of my very hot husband / emotional support king, Plo Koon.

Well, ok - maybe this is not so much an adventure. I often wonder when was the first time Ahsoka saw Plo maskless? How did she react? This is the result.

As I am insatiably disappointed over the fact that the Kel Dor in the Acolyte is not Plo Koon, I'm still quite thrilled that Kel Dors have once more made it to the screen via the lovely Ithia Paan.

That said, join me in my never ending thirst for Plo Koon and Plo welcoming Ithia to the family ♥.

May 2, 2024: Plo Koon

Koh-to-ya! I have finished making Plo Koon. ^.^ With the Opress brothers outnumbering my Jedi Plushies I thought I'd even the numbers for now. (And they could use a kind mentor, Palpatine and Dooku are not nice to the boys.)

Plo brings me to four new ones made this year, and nine total. ^.^ (This doesn't include repeats or prototypes. That number is 14. ^.^ So far only one has caused injury so I think I'm doing good so far.)

Four of twelve is awesome. ^.^ I hope I can keep on track with my goal. Shaak Ti is in the works now and hopefully, I can get her finished before I go traveling at the end of next month. As far as canon characters go I don't really have more of them planned, I may try experimenting with Ventress and her BB look but that won't be any time soon since I haven't quite figured out hair on a plush. However, I would like to try experimenting with the colors and patterns each of the species offers. If you have any suggestions for future projects (not that I really need to add more to my ever-growing list...) I'd love to hear them. ^.^ Be it plushies, outfits, mashups/hybrid characters, or even just color theory to make something from. (Zotaa and Mu happen to be color theory projects, I was given a set of two colors and made the plushies after. ^.^) I love that these have gotten some love since posting them here. ^.^ (It makes me happy to have the notifications even if there isn't a message along with it.) Seeing as I've been away for a bit, I figured a full-on language lesson might be in order.

I must confess, I have a thing for Kel' Dor youngsters. Who doesn't?

Everyone who has kids (or kid brothers and sisters) 100% HAS HAD this happen to them. Dadaa is supposedly easier to say than Momma... but apparently ANY swear word you can think of is easier than either of them. We weren't allowed to swear as kids, or even teens - but they didn't have to hear us to know we did, because our newly verbal baby sister (in particular) would do things like point at us at dinner exclaiming "Sit! Sit!!" (which was SHIT). Or, after she got a little vocabulary under her belt, would be waking them up at 3 AM saying things like "Dammit, Mummy -wake up!" Or, "Fuck! My bottle!" (as it dropped out of her crib). Ah, the memories 😬

I love the formal way KD's speak. Keldeorin'yaa is very unembellished and literal. Yet their endearments for their little ones are utterly precious.

Mum will have some explaining to do at dinner, I think.

So I thought about Wolfpack learning about Kel-Dor language. But since they are troopers they focused on strategic things? Like 'left, 'right', 'objective' etc?

So what I wanted was when Plo or other Kel-Dorian talk about something domestic in Kel-Dor Wolfpacks like 'sorry I never learned about that words' and confused

Plo: <something in Kel-Dor language>

Other Kel-Dorian: <also something in Kel-Dor>

Wolffe: ....?

Wolffe: Sir, If I may ask... what is the meaning of word <...> that what you were referring us?

Plo: Well, you have plenty time to discuss that by yourself, Commander.

Wolffe: urg...

Wolffe: Commander Tano, I have question for you, sir.

Ahsoka: Yes, feel free to ask anything.

Wolffe: You are fond of the Kel-Dor too, right? Do you have any idea about meaning of the word <...>?

Ahsoka: Oh

Ahsoka: That word <...> means 'my children' which is used by parents for their kids in clan.
