#keigo changed his hero name a lot

I keep thinking about a Yuuei AU where Keigo is a student until like halfway through second year his dad gets arrested as a villain and he only stays for a few more months before the side-looks and bullying and different treatment from teachers finally makes him snap. As if them working with a son of a villain is so much more difficult than him losing his father and basically losing his mother too. And it really doesn't help that his (former) best friend's dad was the one who took him away.
So one day he just withdraws from the school and no one is able to get in contact with him again. Until years later when pro hero Dabi sees a report that the previously petty criminal Hawks has been seen working with the League of Villains and has, by association, been bumped up to the classification of villain. And Touya, as a hero, doesn't deal with criminals so he had absolutely no idea that was where Keigo had ended up, nor was he aware of the name "Hawks" that his former friend was going by.
And he doesn't know what to do, because they weren't really friends at the end. They fell off hard and there was a lot of tension and spitting insults and glares up until the point Keigo left the school. But he's an adult now, and he's delt with much more, so it's given a different perspective on the situation. He hates himself for acting so defensive and reactive to Keigo's anger when It's clear that he was just hurting and felt as if everyone had turned their back on him.
But now the question is if he can get that through to Hawks before the villain does something he can't come back from.

MOTHER HEN: PART ELEVEN
parings: hawks x mother!reader
wordcount: 2.2k
notes: actually shed a tear while writing this ngl…
warnings: angst.
summary: you, the mother of Fumikage Tokoyami, are just a simple nurse! Who caught the eye of a certain pro.
just a week away until the attack.
He should tell you.
right?
No, the hero’s will win so there’s no point.
but, hawks will say that your a very convincing person.
Always kissing and- nuzzling on him asking if everything’s alright.
honestly, your quite good at getting things out of him.
That whole keigo thing? Woof- now even he was kinda surprised by that.
If hawks remembers correctly, Fumikage will find out about the whole operation the day of or at least the day before.
And hawks will make sure he keeps his mouth shut.
Usually- hawks just stays around the liberation to keep an eye on them.
Twice is alright- little dumb- but alright.
Dabi, knows of you.
Well now he does.
Hawks really shouldn’t have made you his home screen.
“Who’s that?” His raspy voice calls from behind hawks.
Hawks jumps slightly, not really expecting a visit from Dabi as he was keeping an eye on Twice.
“She’s a..co-worker.” Hawks says slowly, calculated.
“Your co-worker is your Home Screen?” Dabi questions.
Hawks pauses for a moment, “it was a prank- never got around to changing the screen.”
Dabi hums like he believes him, but hawks knows it was a shitty cover.
Are you in danger now?
Dabis got a way of getting information- could he get yours?
No- no way, he couldn’t hurt you before the attack, no chance.
You asked what was wrong with hawks that night too.
Not because he looked off, but because he held you a little tighter than he usually did.
Your skin felt wet as you drifted away into sleep that night too.
6 days until the attack.
Hawks wanted to ask for an off day before the attack, but decided not to.
There was no time to take a break so close to the attack.
Fumikage visited later in the evening.
It’s nice because you spend the mornings alone usually if you’re not at work.
Hawks comes home late a lot so maybe your more alone than your thinking.
Fumikage would spend the entire week with you if he could.
4 days until the attack.
Hawks didn’t come home.
Fumikage didn’t visit.
You spent your off day alone.
Maybe you should’ve told someone you were off, or hung out with your friends that came with you to the club.
You would just like to stay in bed today though.
2 days until the attack.
Hawks came home, never told you where he was off the previous days.
Fumikage did not visit.
You tried to call but he didn’t answer.
You were worried but decided not to dwell on it.
Hawks told Fumikage about the attack before someone else could, told him not to say a word to you.
Fumikage would’ve liked to answer the phone but, he was afraid the words would pour out of his mouth.
The day of the attack.
Hawks kiss lingered a little longer than it usually did.
You noticed.
And Fumikage sent you a small, “love you mom, hope you have a good day” text.
Which he doesn’t do usually.
But you were stuck at home again, you’d gathered up a lot of off days this year.
Your boss said you were too hard of a worker, maybe that was true but you want the best for Fumikage.
Fumikage is on his own at the dorms now though, is there a point in working so hard anymore when you have enough money?
you decide not to dwell on it.
Instead putting your efforts into the laundry that hadn’t been touched in a good minute.
You were only slightly upset when you realized Fumikages clothes were barely in the pile.
He had no reason to come and bring his mother his dirty clothes when he could do them at the dorms.
Hawks- Keigos clothes were always messily thrown into the bathroom, you never blamed him for never putting them in the laundry basket.
He worked hard, he deserved to let his clothes be a little bit everywhere if he wanted.
Keigo, it’s a nice name. Keigo says he likes how you say it.
You like the name, maybe one day you could meet the woman who gave it to him?
your aware of his childhood, his father more much more physical than his mother.
Does he keep contact with her? Would he even want you meeting her?
no point in thinking about it, Keigo will tell you when he’s ready.
But he’ll have to be prepared to meet your family, they won’t like him too much at first but maybe they’ll warm up.
They’ll love hero hawks- but normal hawks?
They were furious when you told them you broke it off with Ryuji, you couldn’t stand to tell them the reason.
And when they first found out you were pregnant with Fumikage? Lord, you still have nightmares about that day.
They didn’t want him. And at first you didn’t either but…
When you first got the check up, they asked if you wanted to see him, said that he’d be visible enough.
You didn’t want to abort after that.
And you thought that maybe you could give him to a family less fortunate.
Your family liked that idea.
You were alone in the hospital room.
and then the doctors came, then Fumikage.
they gave him to you, let you have a moment of quiet with your new son.
you couldn’t bring yourself to let him go.
It was just you a Fumikage in the hospital room.
When your family found out you were keeping him, no questions asked, they couldn’t take it.
They didn’t want him, but you did.
And that’s all that matters.
They warmed up to his sweet little face anyways, the way his feet pattered along the halls in the house you grew up in.
He was quite popular during the holidays as-well, they wanted him then.
And now, here you are alone in a house.
Dutifully doing the laundry, remembering every small thing Fumikage did when he was young.
The TV was playing softly in the background, some drama show.
It was interesting enough to keep an ear on.
Until a gruff, raspy voice comes on.
You’re surprised at first, looking up towards the tv only to see a man scared deeply with purple burns, staples runnning over between the dead and healthy skin.
He was looking into the camera, his eyes a striking blue.
“My name is Touya Todoroki.” He says loud and clear.
He goes on to explain that he’s the son of endeavor, his failure.
even pulling out a paternity test.
you sit there on your couch, shocked, your stomach curling and twisting in pure horror.
You’re dumbfounded staring at the screen, your stomach only dropping more when you see hawks.
Hawks stabbing someone, a villain.
then apparently killing the number three, best jeanist.
Touya exposes Keigos past.
You can’t stand to watch anymore, you turn off the tv immediately.
You slide down to the ground below you, clutching at your chest.
Hawks had something to do with the villains, didn’t he?
The exact same one that attack your son, your first born.
your baby.
How dare he?
Anger replaces the fear, your chest fighting at the realization.
You held a man that killed another, a man that could’ve helped hurt your son but then goes a picks him up after?
was it all a lie?
was it?
You grab your phone to call Fumikage. He doesn’t answer.
You call again, you’re not in the fucking mood for this.
And he answers, “mother?”
“Fumikage.”
Fumikages voice is shaking slightly, you can tell.
“Stay away from hawks.” Your voice quiet.
Fumikage stays silent for a moment, “what- why?”
“Did you see the broadcast Fumikage? Get away from him- I can’t have you hurt again.”
“Mother please- hawks didn’t do any wrong.”
You voice raises, “you don’t know that!”
The line goes quiet.
“Mother I can’t-“
“Where are you? I’m coming to get you Fumi.” You voices says hurriedly, worry pumping through your blood.
Fumikage stumbles with his words, “I’m- I am in a recovery spot.”
“What?”
“I’m with hawks- he was harmed in battle.”
Your quiet for a moment, battle? Was there something on the news you misssed? You always steer clear from it or at least try to.
What in gods name is happening?
“Fumikage, what do you mean battle.”
You can practically hear Fumikage gulp, “I wasn’t supposed to tell you, it would’ve compromised the attack.”
“What attack?!” You feel blood rushing towards your head the more you yell.
“I-I on the liberation front! I was supposed to help and- hawks was near the main building fighting a-and I saw fire- I had to help him mom!” Fumikage says quickly, you can barely pick up on it.
You rest you head against the plushness against the couch, trying to be calm.
You can barely hold the phone up, your hand shakes with every breath you take.
You breath in through your nostrils slowly, “Fumi…are you okay?”
Fumikage stays silent for a moment, “I’m alright, I got burned a little but it’ll heal.”
You exhale shakily from your mouth, “Fumikage..” the tears bubble up from your eyes.
“I can’t take much more of this.”
Fumikage looks down towards hawks, “I’m sorry for worrying you.”
“I can’t lose you Fumikage. I can’t.” You try to wipe the tears from your eyes but they won’t stop.
“I know mama, m’sorry.” You hear Fumikages voice break.
Fumikage grips his pants in an effort to calm down, looking at hawks resting form as his vision goes blurry.
“Are you angry with hawks?” His voice shakes.
“I’m furious Fumi.”
“Please forgive him. Please mother.”
The line goes quiet again.
You smile softly, “I thought you hated him?”
Fumikage feels the tears start to go down his face as he reply’s, “I’ve warmed up a little.”
You giggle softly, sniffing, “I’ll think about it.”
Fumikages resolve breaks as he curls into himself, the adrenaline wearing off from his encounter with Dabi.
You hear Fumikage softly sobbing through the phone and your heart aches.
You try to say soft reassurance to Fumikage, to make your son stop crying but nothing comes out of your throat.
Your phone dings, Fumikage shared his location with you. He’s somewhere in the woods and the he’ll be at the nearest hospital after the battle is confirmed to be over.
So you tell him you love him, and hang up to drive to it.
Your drive is quiet but your thoughts keep you company until you arrive.
The hospital is packed, you’re surprised they can fit so many hero’s and civilians.
some people are being treated in the halls surprisingly, it’s a complete mess.
You continue looking through each room until you find Fumikage, you almost crush his ribs with that hug.
You cradle his head into your chest, you notice one that you saw none of his classmates yet.
The hospital room was empty aside from Fumikage.
It was just you and him again.
Fumikage push you away slowly, “hawks is okay, if you were wondering.”
You scuffle his feathers, “I was, only a small bit though I’m still angry.”
Fumikage chuckles softly as you pull him back in, kissing his forehead over and over.
“Can I bring you home?” You mumble from his feathers.
Fumikage nods softly.
Your voice is quiet, “What room is hawks in?”
“The one above this one, they’re treating him right now though.” Fumikage replies.
You hum softly, “what’s his injury’s?”
Fumikage stays silent.
“Fumi?” You say with concern lining your voice.
“His wings…have pretty bad burns…” Fumikage says slowly.
Dark shadow pops out from Fumikage, small little tears brimming his eyes.
You caress the top of his head softly as he speaks, “h-his back..there was nothing..” dark shadow sniffles out.
As a nurse, that’s quite horrifying to hear.
But there’s no point in worrying Fumikage any more.
“I’m sure he’ll be okay.” You say softly with a small smile on your face.
You wrap your arm around Fumikages shoulder, leading him out of the hospital towards the car.
And as you sit the the car, driving to your home.
The one that you and Fumikage inhabit everyday.
Your heart wishes that hawks could’ve joined too, no matter how betrayed you feel.
Even when you asked he waved it off. It hurt you more than it protected you.
It’s the thought that counts right? Fumikage is still safe and okay.
Fumikage will heal, but will Keigo?
Dark Shadow saying that his back was practically gone made you nauseous.
He’ll heal though, and he’ll be back home.
It’ll be you and Fumikage.
and hawks will be there too.
And if he can’t be a hero anymore, so what?
You’ll be there.
And maybe, your life will be more simple.
Fumikage will have another adult in his life other than you, someone else he can depend on.
And truly that’s all you want.
And at night when you carry Fumikages resting body to his bed, you leave the balcony unlocked.
A part of you stupidly thinks that Keigo will come in the middle of the night, retreating into your warmth.
A part of you thinks dark shadow was being dramatic when he said his back was practically gone.
Is it your fault that you can’t sleep that night?
Not when your mind is plagued by images you don’t wanna see at all.
The only comfort is that damn overpriced hawks plush.
And damn Keigo for not letting you sleep without him.
Damn him for making you fall for him.
Damn him for making you care.
Damn him for making you cuddle a stupid plush instead of him.
Damn him and his stupid smile.

Can I please make a request? Instead of being told to kill Best Jeanist to prove himself to the League of Villains, Keigo is taken to a room with an innocent civilian and told to rape her. He goes through with it and feels guilty but ends up enjoying it a lot more than he’d like to admit. The nastier the better!
I love this idea! hope it’s nasty enough for you anon ♡
BAD GUY

“The fuck you mean change of plan?”
Keigo shifts in his rigid stance, his fingers twitching in anxious waiting.
“Don’t worry ‘bout it pretty boy.” Dabi slings an arm over Keigo’s tense shoulders, hooking the heavy appendage around his neck to tug him along.
The moment the door is swung open, he’s met with the foul stench of stale air and oxidised blood. His nose twitches and curls at the numerous metal chains clinging to the crumbling walls of what he can only assume is some kind of dungeon or torture chamber. His eyes squint at the distorted figure hung against the back wall.
Your broken, bruised wrists twitch in their rusted confines, cuffed to the ceiling where your ankles are collected with them, legs spread and strung open like a dirty fuck-puppet.
Keigo’s eyes follow as he watches Dabi saunter towards you, slapping your inner thigh and jolting you awake. “Got this one special.” he jiggles the ripened flesh, swinging you back and forth in your restraints. “Stretched her out for you ‘n everything.” Keigo’s top lip raises in disgust as Dabi brings two fingers down to press against your swollen pussy lips, spreading the delicate flesh open to give an informative view of your gaping hole, already stuffed with blood and a not so ominous white fluid, dribbling down your puffy slit all the way to your taint.
Keigo stares wide eyed and somewhat disturbed, blinking down at the miniature puddle of semen, tinted red.
Dabi clicks his tongue, sighing. “Well, come on then. This bitch ain’t gonna fuck herself.”
A blond head snaps up, eyes slitted and narrowed. “What?”
A dark chuckle resounds throughout the dimly lit vault. “You heard me, hero.” Dabi circles Keigo like a sickly vulture with a wicked grin, shuffling through his pocket. “You wanna’ prove your loyalty to the L.O.V?” He fiddles with the wheel of his lighter until the wick ignites.
“Fuck her.”
“Who is she?” Keigo snaps back in an instance.
Dabi snickers, eyeing the swiftly burning embers of his cigarette. “How the fuck do I know? She’s just some random chick we picked up. Who cares anyway, don’t gotta know her name to stick your dick in her.” He reasons, smirking behind the smouldering stick tucked between his fingers.
Keigo snarls through grit teeth. “Is this what you meant by change of plan? you want me to ra—”
“Rape her?” Dabi cocks his head with a mocking pout. He takes another lengthy drag of his cigarette before pivoting to face Keigo, allowing the murky tendrils of smoke to encase him in a cloud of grey. “Yeah, I do.” He tuts. “But that shouldn’t be a problem for you, should it Hawks?”
Against his will, Keigo is shoved towards your limp body, flinching. He grimaces as a sloppy string of drool slides off of your tongue, slipping through the metal ring of the gag fitted between your teeth, prying your tired jaws open.
“If you’re worried about your lil’ reputation, don’t. She can’t see you.” He juts his chin towards the stained cloth tied over your eyes, used as a make-shift blindfold.
“You’re a sick bastard, you know that?” Keigo huffs, refusing to acknowledge the pebbled nipples and perfectly vulnerable pussy spread out in-front of him like a fucking buffet.
“You wanna be a villain? Then you gotta’ fuckin’ act like one.” Dabi slumps against the wall, folding a thick arm below his chest.
Keigo scowls, thumbing the leather of his belt. “Alright, you gonna get the fuck out, or what?”
“Nah, boss wants me to watch. Make sure you don’t try anything funny.”
A bitter chuckle escapes Keigo, shaking his head. “Or you’re just lookin’ to get off to this shit?”
“Hey, I’ve actually got better things to being doing then sitting here and watching you fail at lasting more than 2 minutes.” Dabi frowns, flicking at the brittle ash clinging to his cigarette.
The situation isn’t funny, so why does he feel like laughing?
Your ears perk at the taunting clang and zip of a belt buckle being dropped to the ground. Your frantic attempts to pull away prove futile the moment two thickly gloved hands wrap around your thighs, cupping the domes of your ass to bring your pulsing slit closer to his already pumped and steaming length.
“Look at you.” Dabi whistles at the scene. “Already got a nice little boner going on, ready to pound some pussy blondie?”
“Shut up.” Keigo barks over his shoulder, fisting his bobbing cock as he decides the best way to approach.
Does he go in slow and let you adjust?.. Or does he just shove it all in at once and get it over with? short and sweet.. Well, not really sweet but you get the gist.
Is there really any nice way to rape somebody?
He goes for something in between, sheathing himself all the way inside until the chubby tip of his prick prods at your cervix. Your screams are muffled by the silver o-gag separating your tongue from the rest of your contorted mouth, only allowing slips of guttural hums and cries. It’s difficult to fuck your pussy comfortably given how you’ve been practically pinned to the wall, so Keigo makes do, using the stringy chains wrapped around your limbs as a handle to pull you back and forth on his dick while he juts into your swollen cunt.
“Mmh.. Shit.”
He doesn’t want to admit it, but it feels damn good fucking you like this. Completely helpless, hanging from the ceiling with your legs bent backwards all for him to rape and hurt. His rhythm increases in tempo, no longer shy, shallow thrusts but deep, meaningful, powerful ones. He leans backwards, using one hand to tug on your restraints while the other fondles your fat tits and nipples. The flimsy nibs are picked and flicked at, twisted between the rough pads of his leather-clad fingers.
“There you go.” Dabi hums, almost raising a hand to applaud him in his endeavour. “That’s much better. Now slap her around a bit.”
Keigo’s hips falter as he turns his neck to Dabi.
“You heard me bird boy, spank that bitch.”
Keigo huffs. With every sharp blow, a new red and purple mark seeps through the canvas of your delicate skin. Your tits and thighs jiggle against the harshness of his hand, twitching and flinching away from his abuse.
“Holy fuckin’ shit.” he hisses, turning white knuckled as he clamps down harder on the ringing chains holding you above him. “She’s fuckin’ clenching man.”
Dabi nods in agreement, nursing on the damp end of his cigarette.
“Can I nut in her?”
“You do whatever the fuck you want, I ain’t gonna say no.” Dabi laughs. “And she sure as hell ain’t either.” He jabs the smoked pick in your direction before dusting himself clean of it, crushing the paper beneath a thick rubber sole.
“Fuck sake, I’m gonna cum so hard.”
He howls, throwing his head back the moment his cock spurts, pumping your pussy full of hot jizz. He hooks his elbows below your knees, pressing himself into you while he empties his heavy balls into your womb. “Take it, oh yeah, take it girlie. Take it all in that tight little fuckin’ twat.” The rapid shiver of your legs does well to encourage him.
Ropes of sloppy, bubbling white cum spew out onto the floor as he retracts, dripping down with a wet pap.
Keigo turns, gasping and heaving like a wild animal, his red raw cock bouncing against his balls as he moves. “Am I done here?..”
Dabi taps a finger against his chin, blinking up at the ceiling as though deep in thought. “Hm..”
“I think you can go another round.”

Yandere Living Spaces
(Hawks and Erasermic )
Keigo Takami:
Much smaller than one might think. Being the second/third highest rated hero (who’s also a model, it seems) would definitely bring it a lot of money, but I’ll argue- what does he have to spend it on? No family, seemingly no friends, no hobbies that we know of. Not to mention that he’s always out on the job or doing something, so he doesn’t have anything to fill a house up with. He doesn’t need a huge house to lounge in. He’d have a smaller and cozier house instead, tucked away somewhere quiet and safe. He keeps the place clean, even if no one ever comes around to see it. Plenty of space for his wings, even if he has nothing to worry about knocking over.
Basically, he has a house, but not a home.
He fully intends to change that, though.
Before he‘s even managed to take you from the League of Villains, he’s already furnished one of his empty guest rooms with you in mind. He walks by that room everyday when he wakes up, thinking of the day that you’ll be waking up with him, adding a little bit of life and warmth to this lonely house of his.
That day won’t be far off. He’ll save you, like you should’ve been saved so long ago, and bring you to a place where you can properly heal and move on from the influence the League has left on you.
Whether you want to or not.
———————————————————————
Shota Aizawa and Hizashi Yamada:
A totally normal house, if you ignore the soundproofed walls. And the hero costumes lying around.
The small shrine to their fallen friend, with a pair of broken goggles, a busted gourd speaker and a shattered ‘Loud Cloud’ pin. The leather jacket and martial arts gi framed in glass and hung on the wall behind the little shelf full of personal effects.
If you can ignore all of that, it’d feel like a normal house.
There are things that make it feel normal. The vitamin packets lining the fridge and the bags of chamomile tea. The little notes on the fridge, reminders to smile and have a good day or to pick up groceries. The amount of cat-themed merchandise, in spite of not having any cats. Old photos here and there, with them and Miss Midnight and some white-haired boy you don’t recognize or know the name of. In some of them, Mr. Aizawa even looks close to happy.
It feels normal for just a moment, and then you see your freshly printed adoption certificate framed and hung up next to all their other precious moments, reminding you of all you’ve been taken away from.
You have a lot of things you’ll have to get used to. Maybe if you do, it’ll start to feel like home.

another plot bunny,,
so i've been reading too much Self-Insert Sukuna AKA SIkuna, and because i've been busy on the mha/bnha fandom for some time, and because i adore crazy crossover story so i kinda want to write a fic about :
a totally random workaholic surgeon who love jjk bcs watching anime is the only entertainment he allowed himself to have, got reincarnated as sukuna without remembering his first life, only some glimpses and liking similar things, and he still became sukuna the sorcerer and then ryomen sukuna the king of curses. after he got separated into 20 fingers (still one of the most hilarious shit that happened), he got reincarnated into takami keigo aka hawks.
his third life as hawks he remembered a lot of shits about being sukuna and his first life (when he also hilariously named keigo), mostly how strong and crazy he was, and how easily for him to destroy villages and humans, and how in his first life he became a surgeon to help people but somehow he became a monster in his second one so the GUILT is very much there, so he very much tried to do everything to use his power, his quirk, for good and become a hero. one of the reason why he's way more mature and capable to be a top three heroes before 25 is because he's old old and he got the advantage of once being the strongest.
in the end, after the war where he thankfully didn't lose his quirk and somehow became hpsc president and start to revolutionized japan heroics, he tried to find out about the old jujutsu society and how the fuck did the curse energy changed so much that even the mundane people able to manifest their curse technique and it changed into quirks. the society pretty much integrated with the 'mundane' because their curse technique also mutated into quirks, and because people use their quirks a lot and controlled their curse energy, in a way, they didn't create curses anymore so in the end geto (and yuki) got what they want, a world without curses and so the jujutsu society wasn't really needed anymore.
but bcs hawks knew the world history very well he also knew that those changes is not without consequences, there will always be quirkist people and in the beginning ppl are afraid of those quirked ppl but thankfully bcs jujutsu society did their job to ease tensions when more and more ppl with quirk born.
when he died as hawks, he was pretty young but not as young as his first life, probably around 35-40yo. but instead of finally resting peacefully in the afterlife, he immediately incarnated back into sukuna BUT this time inside itadori yuuji, while also remembering ALL of his life, first as the ordinary dude who love jjk, second as sukuna in heian era, and third as top hero hawks.
when sukuna took over yuuji to exorcise the curse on top of the school, he freaked out a lot bcs I THOUGHT I WAS DONE WITH THE LIVING WORLD and so when megumi tried to exorcise him he just said "shut it, i'm having an existential crisis, also what year is it now?" before yuuji took over, gojo came and they have their talk.
when gojo ask yuuji to let sukuna take over for prob one minute, he finally gathered enough wit (even tho he still freaked out) to, yknow, just talk instead of fighting each other, and gojo humor him for a bit.
SIkuna : "so sorcerer... sugawara? sugawara descendant? what year is it?"
gojo, amused : "the name's gojo now, and why do you want to know?"
SIkuna, very much done w life bcs he just want to pass to the afterlife : "because dipshit, this is actually my fourth life instead of second, and i want to know if i manage to travel forward or backward in time or even to a different dimension. from the infrastructure and language and the existence of curse energy, I'm still in the same japan and could be around 21st to 24th century. if you would be so kind to answer my question about what year is it today?"
gojo, having so many question because what the fuck did sukuna mean by fourth life??? : "...it's 2018."
SIkuna : "so curse energy hasn't evolve and awakened everyone's curse technique and change it into quirks yet?"
gojo : "...what the fuck."
SIkuna : "yeah, that happened on my third life but i was born around year 2335. someone or something upstairs, probably one of the power-that-be, definitely messed up my reincarnation cycle. it's weird."
gojo (and megumi who listened to the whole convo) : "..."
SIkuna : "oh well, the brat is starting to suppress me, so i'll take my leave and please don't contact me for the next few days because i want to sort out all of my memories first."
sukuna def freaked out a lot of people with his nonchalant attitude and 'i already lived through three way different but similar in craziness lifetime, im not afraid of anything anymore, what more would they do, kill me? been there done that got THREE different trauma', tried to change the timeline and also balancing having THREE separated lifetime worth of memories, trying to not becoming heian-era-sukuna but also knowing he can't be both keigos again, also somehow befriending all of the jujutsu high students (first and second years), being seduced by gojo (who at first doing this only because he wants information but then bcs he likes it), having tea with nanami/yaga while also has three lifetimes worth of rambling about the state of the world (the good thing is we won't die bcs of global warming, but also WHY WAS EVERY HIGHER UP ARE ALL SHITTY PEOPLE), and somehow he did it and save the timeline?????
he also had some talks with yuki (and with gojo too) about curse energy-curse technique-quirks, while also telling them he didn't know a lot of shit bcs a lot of written records got lost during the troubling years.
yuki : "but that means it happened, right? no more curses and no more sorcerers dying."
sukuna : "well yeah, but there's nearly a century full of change. the country all around the world are slow on changing things, esp here in japan. the system isn't perfect and i did spend a decade rebuild the system after the war-"
gojo : "what do you mean by war?"
sukuna : *briefly talk about his job as japan top hero and the war with all-for-one* "...and yeah in the end i prob didnt do much but i do hope my sidekicks, allies, and employees can continue my works and make japan heroics a better place."
gojo : "....sukuna marry me."
sukuna : "HA?!"
yuki : *laughing*
thats... more or less the whole plot i kinda want to write,,, probs gonna add more ha
(feel free to use this long-ass post as inspiration or something!! i... probs gonna write them on ao3, like, maybe??? probably???? yeah,,)

Father.
includes— hawks x reader. minors dni. angst. hurt/comfort.
warnings— past abuse. substance use. trauma.
The parchment held in his gloved hands is yellowed, he notices. To the unfamiliar eye, the brown of the stain smudging black inked letters could be coffee, or perhaps tea.
To Keigo, the imprint of a splatter from cheap booze is unmistakable.
Beer, he assesses, flipping the letter once, twice. He watches the paper like a specimen under a microscope, with what— to the unfamiliar eye— looks like cold indifference. To the familiar, his face is drenched in what he could only describe as pity.
He holds it away from his face, the stink of cologne burning his senses.
Words spring off the page, clawing at his eyes. They were illegible long before the black ink began to run down the page with liquor. Words like "rehabilitate" and "did my time" and "still your father" and "hero" and "start over."
Words like "again".
And again, and again, and again.
Keigo sighs as he places it down onto the coffee table with care. He wouldn't want to wrinkle it any further than it already is.
He'll have to have a strict talking to with one of his handlers about yet another privacy leak. He shrugs off his coat as he stalks down his living room, reluctant to remove the barrier between his body and world outside him. Like a child, he chastises himself, walking toward the most stable part of his apartment.
Keigo doesn't understand why he pushes his bed against the wall that night, nor does he grasp exactly why he feels the need to pull his comforter over his ears and neck.
Everyone deserves a second chance, he thinks.
He shuts his eyes. He watches his values dance behind his eyelids, a picturesque show of gentler men in suits, of new beginnings. He thinks of Endeavor almost on instinct, as he does most times his father appears like a mirage in his memory.
There's a cognitive dissonance there that eludes him, between his firm belief in people's ability to change, and the arm's length he keeps between himself and his parents. He must have abandoned his mother, he believes. Through all the years Keigo spent saving others, a part of his spirit always looked upon her story with regret.
He shouldn't have to be the parent, but he could. He could if he tried harder.
But his father...
A single feather zooms toward the door of his bedroom, shutting and locking it. No one can get in the apartment to begin with, strictly reinforced for the protection of a pro hero by the HPSC; but he'd really feel a lot better with his bedroom door closed.
After tossing for fifty-three minutes and twenty-one seconds exactly, he huffs and pulls out his phone, scrolling down his contacts to the name surrounded with hearts.
C'mon... Pick up. Please.
It rings. He chews his nails.
"Hi, baby!"
Oh thank fucking God.
"H-Hey! Sweetheart, what's up?"
The phone goes silent for a moment. The pause makes Keigo's muscles clench.
"...Something's wrong, isnt it?"
He flops back against the pillow, running a single palm down his face and letting out a stuttered laugh.
"Woah! Took you, like, four seconds. That's a new record, babe. Feeling particularly perceptive, or was it that obvious?"
"It was that obvious," you answer, muffled through the speakers.
He smiles, pulling the covers down a bit while he fidgets with a loose string.
"Mm. Could you, um," he starts, glancing at the door as he sits up. "I know it's late, but could you... Swing by?"
His fidgeting gets worse, he notices. An intense expectation for someone to swat his hand down creeps forward from what appears to be nowhere.
"Baby... Of course," you croon. Your words crawl out from the speaker, cradling him in a swaddle of safety and promise. He lets out a breath.
"You've still got the key, right?"
"Always do, angel."

Is Toya really going to die? I feel like his upcoming death is left ambiguous on purpose.
While poetic and tragic, it fits with his character as a person who wanted to be seen he will forever be Endeavor's legacy in the world. In the end it feels good Dabi the villain, not Toya the young boy, won.
Toya is human, so yes, he’s going to die at some point. It’s an inevitable part of life. But I think what you’re asking is if Toya will die soon, and I agree with you that the answer is purposefully vague. Neither we, nor Toya or Enji, know when to expect the end. They’re stuck waiting. It’s their purgatory. It’s their hell.
As for whether Toya or Dabi “won,” I don’t think there’s a difference, and I don’t think it’s a clean “win”. I know it’s popular in fandom to consider characters with hero/villain names as two separate identities, but the final act of MHA goes out of its way to point out that these differing identities reside within the same human. Toshinori Yagi IS All Might, with or without OFA. Tenko Shimura IS Tomura Shigaraki; the only exception is when he’s puppeted by AFO. Keigo Takami IS Hawks, even without his quirk. (His hero uniform is underneath his business suit!)
The difference between Toya as a boy and Dabi as a young man is hope. Toya kept thinking he could do something to make Enji change (read: he thought he could make Enji love him and treat him like Enji’s rightful eldest son). Dabi gave up on that hope, decided it was too late, and planned a dramatic murder-suicide, but even then it wasn’t what he really, truly wanted. See this post here on Toya’s honne/tatemae and true desires — I wrote then how Dabi still wanted his family’s love and attention, it’s just buried under his “villain” posturing and his anger over being denied. I mean, ugh, even in 426 he still can’t bring himself to SAY he missed his family and he wants to talk to them. But Toya shivers and his heart rate goes up as they promise to keep talking to him, so we know the fire is going out. It takes a lot out of Toya, but I do think he’s getting closer to telling his family what’s in his heart.
Because Shoto saved them all, Toya now gets a chance to do what he TRULY wanted. In a way, that’s a win for him, but the tradeoff is that he’s locked in that machine and he’s known as a villain. Toya will never get his “rightful” status as eldest son and successor to his father due to the choices Dabi made. Then again, “Endeavor” is forever “stained” by Dabi too. That’s obviously Enji’s punishment, but in a way it is for Toya as well. Toya doesn’t get the attention of Endeavor the top hero; he gets retired, disabled, cancelled old Enji.
At this point I feel compelled to point out that, although Enji is mostly punished, he DOES get a “win” in a monkey paw way. Toya proved his flames were greater than Enji’s, and that he COULD have been the perfect child successor Enji was trying to engineer. (I mean, 16yo Toya told AFO to fuck off and burned down one of his baby factories!) But even if Enji’s eugenics experiment actually worked on the first try, Enji didn’t notice Toya’s power until after Toya was already a villain and a threat.
That’s why Enji and Toya, together, waiting in the purgatory they made, is simultaneously a win and a loss for both. It’s everything they wanted and yet not, for the rest of their lives, however long they may be.

I remember that Hori referred to Hawks (and Ochako) being a 'light of hope' in 2021. It's also interesting that it was Hawks who commented on Ofa and how it connects people's hearts. Do you have any thoughts on this?
I think that arc was very dark for Hawks specifically and the anime's rendition of it is very dark. However these chapters... in 323-325 it is a bit different. It's where I think Hori was honest and where I do think Hawks and especially Ochako are at their brightest, narratively. So, uh, to go back to my writing for Graduation Day, I remember debating whether to analyze this scene because I thought it was relevant. I eventually decided that six thousand words is enough and to spare y'all, but let's get into it because I think it confirms my thesis that vulnerability is needed for connection in BNHA.
Ochako's first panels in 324 have her saying, admitting actually, that she cannot reassure people. She acknowledges they're all scared and worried.
This was the best thing she could have done.
The deification of heroes was something that led to the system they have now. Somewhere in the glitz and hero rankings people forgot these are regular people.
We see this repeatedly as an issue of identities - why Toshinori seems a shell of himself outside of All Might, most of Enji's issues boil down to him not knowing how to be Enji versus Endeavor and screwing his family up for it, and Hawks is...well, everything about Hawks is about being a Hero rather than a person, which is why Horikoshi had him kill someone literally named "humanity".
Ochako doesn't allow this to go on. She makes it clear they're all scared, they're all people who want safety, comfort, and want to be clean from mud and dirt, same as any other. It's why she's one of the Savior Kids; she's geared to try and humanize the other side. It's why she's paired with Toga. See below, as she thinks of Toga while giving a speech.
Essentially she reached the people in that crowd by reminding them who Deku is - a kid with way too much on his shoulders, a person just like them. Not a symbol, not a quirk, like AFO is treating him as. A boy. Or "regular high school kid" - yeah, I should have put this in Graduation Day, lol.
Symbols aren't meant to be fragile or have to come out from the rain. Deku does because he's a person.
So what about Hawks?
This isn't the last time Keigo is going make metaphors about One for All. Remember the line so many people read in bad faith about him comparing Endeavor "linking" people together too? He was talking about connection, pure and simple, realizing that much of his own motivations and Inasa's are connected through Endeavor, or their perceptions of him.
Truly, it's just him remarking that seeing society as holistic, as a whole rather than a part, is the key to solving their issue.
I think the emphasis on showing your soul, ugliness and cracks and all is one of the keys to reaching the villains. Something that doesn't position them as moral superiors, which is where Keigo failed drastically with Jin. He didn't give him a good choice at all. He also wasn't willing to be fully vulnerable with him. But I also think there's another dimension to this. More and more I think Horikoshi is actually criticizing individualism and the idea of "the great man". In his depicting of bystander system that has become an issue from society delegating acts of kindness and heroism to an actual career, I think he's critiquing the idea that one person can shoulder that burden.
It shouldn't be a person but a village, so to speak. It says a lot that the characters we know as villains are both seeking connection but also saying, in the depths of despair, that their individual will can change the world.
I still interpret this scene as Dabi deep in denial. Uh oh, he actually FELT something, time to double down and reiterate he doesn't give an actual fuck when truth is he DOES, he just doesn't want to. Otherwise he has to FEEL.
Anyway, the emphasis on the single person and single convinction is another one of those clues I think Horikoshi is leaving us about the "Great Man theory".
The great man theory is a 19th-century approach to the study of history according to which history can be largely explained by the impact of great men, or heroes: highly influential and unique individuals who, due to their natural attributes, such as superior intellect, heroic courage, extraordinary leadership abilities or divine inspiration, have a decisive historical effect.
I remember balking when I read this. Maybe it's because here in the West, there's little uhh agreement over Napoleon being heroic. Maybe it's because my history teachers were unsual but I've never really seen anyone seriously consider Napoleon heroic. There always seemed to be agreement he was a power-mad tyrant who took advantage of the Revolution to enact a military coup and then actual progress made by the Jacobins. So the fact chapter 3 of BNHA has Mic quoting him as a great hero was always weird. At the time of my first read through, I wrote it off as maybe Japan doesn't take this approach to Napoleon and the Revolution. One person's tyrant is another's hero, you know? But more and more I think Horikoshi has been debunking Great Man Theory with his manga. First off the premise of Great Man is usual that the Great Man is born, that his Greatness is congenital. That there's a natural aptitude for greatness, like superior intellect, etc. BNHA is absolutely refuting that, has from the first page. In fact the characters who get into the trap of believing they are born "anything" are shown to be trapped or not in a good way (see Redestro, or see Tomura and Keigo believing they are born to destroy/have dirty wings respectively). So much of who Deku has become is supposed to change this idea of biological predisposition to greatness.
Even Dabi, who has struggled against the circumstances of his birth, falls into the trap of believing some people are born with everything and are born to everything, essentially internalizing the worst of his father's own beliefs.
The story isn't kind to people who give us this rhetoric - that depending on others is wrong, or weakness. It's why Deku had his arc, after all.
Which brings us to my second point - the story isn't the triumph of individuals against evil. It's about people coming together. That's why Ochako and Keigo had their moments of realization in 323-325.
It's not about one person. It's about people.
Lastly, and this is conjecture, but there's a curiosity to the Great Man theory from a cultural standpoint. Now each culture has its Great Man to some extent. I've spoken about how All For One is likely trying to emulate Oda Nobunaga with his Demon Lord talk. But the emphasis on individual actions over collective ones, the commercialization of heroism, and the idea of competition breeding innovations/results are distinctively Western Capitalist ones. And in...a clumsy way, I think Horikoshi has been hinting at this being part of his own criticism.
Did you ever notice how the Japanese anime has them say "Hero/Hiro"? It's an imported word. Japanese has other words that mean hero, like yusha or eiyu, which have different meanings that all relate to the English hero as either a brave person (yusha) or a person of greatness/importance (eiyu). Why then use hiro, a foreign word as the title for this career?
Because the hero system is canonically imported. And so perhaps are the ideals it brought with it.

No, I’m Not Leaving🪶
Keigo Takami x GN! Reader
Hi everyone! Here’s the result from the poll! I think I may have gone a bit off from my own prompt but it should be okay. There is reference to a recent Hawks post I made in this!
Warning: maybe an implication of sex(depends on how you take it), swearing
Spoiler but warning?: Hawks does almost get forced into a relationship with a woman. So if that’s triggering, I wouldn’t read
“We just think you should display more affection to your fans. Like you did 3 years ago.”
Hawks paused, thoughts twirled in his mind as he tried his hardest to understand what was being asked. They didn’t mean the flirty way he acted before he started to date you? Right? But the way you looked at him, soft eyes filled with concern only clarified his thoughts…The phone, which was on speaker, kept going.
“Like before you found it”
“Ha I’m sorry wanna remind me what it is? Because Endeavor isn't here.” Hawks joked, but tension lay in his eyebrows. Your hand reached over to his, squeezing his fingers in your palm. This wasn't going to go well…. Anyone could see it.
“Your ‘chickadee’, is what we mean Hawks. They’re becoming a problem.” Hawks tensed slightly and you could sense the shift in his feathers. Things that usually were overlooked by the public, but not you. You could see the slight change in his eyes. How they oh so subtly became sharper. More pointed and slanted.
“I don’t see a problem with them. Quite far from it actually.”
“They’ve changed you, you don’t act the same!” They were guilt-tripping him- trying to at least.
“Yeah for the better.”
“You don’t interact with fans the same-“
“You mean I don’t flirt constantly? I think if I did my image would take a heavy toll considering almost everyone in Japan knows I’m in a committed relationship.”
It took a while to get to his current behaviors, IE his current level of flirty-ness. He couldn’t go cold turkey with his flirty ways, it would be suspicious. And thankfully, you understood that. You actually told him it would be smarter to ease off slowly so it wouldn’t be to noticeable. That being said, it did still make moments in those past years tense, when a fan would get too handsy at the ‘Single’ and ‘Eligible’ Hero. But Keigo always made sure afterward to show you you’re his one and only.
But when word broke a year and a half in, shit got crazy. Some fan excepted it and others revolted. They hadn’t even seen your face, just you in a giant coat walking with the pro hero on a fall day. Your finger intertwined. The commission tried to persuade him and subtly weaken your relationship. In one instance they sent him on a 5-month mission with minimal contact. But you were still here.
There was silence over the phone.
“They don’t look right with your image.” Of fucking course. “ They look shabby! And they’re not even a hero, far from it, they’re a civilian.” Hawk's fingers weaved into yours, squeezing them tight, trying to ground himself. “Need I remind you you aren't supposed to even be dating? You have one person on your arm for the main hero event and that’s it.” There was a pause, “but since you feel so inclined to need a relationship-“ You let a silent hiss of anger leave your lips at the audacity. “we’ve contacted the agency in America, and they’re sending over one of their top heroes for you. Her name is Moon Light and she’s a lot fitter-“
“No”
“I’m sorry, what?”
“I said no.”
Moon Light: some stuck-up hero he met once during a recruiting event. Her image evolved around money and fame. Yeah, she was pretty- gorgeous really, and she was fit. But she was a hero so it was expected. She trained to endure the worst and be the best. But fuck that, you were the best. Your beauty topped hers. Your kindness and honesty could drown the little bit of humanity that woman had.
“I’m not leaving them for her”
“Hawks I don’t think you realize that you don’t have a choice.”
“No, I do.” You stared at Keigo, your mouth agape. He hadn’t ever used the tone of voice before, at least not in front of you and especially not when talking to the commission. “Because I’ll make my relationship TRUELY public if I have to. And I’ll have fans support it to a point of god-like status.” You heard a sharp inhale on the other line.
You’re eyes scanned his, there was no hint of a lie. You may just become a public figure soon. And that’s okay. At least you’d still be with him.
“Hawks-“
“And if our relationship then ‘comes apart’ due to you- I will quickly bring into spotlight Miss Moon Light, And I will watch with glee as my support tanks”
“You wouldn’t”
“Trust me, they mean more to me than this.”
Silence. “We’ll get back to you… but consider our-“
“No” He hung up.

Love can be a lot of things. It can be fun & invigorating or it can be awful & devastating. It can also be wildly unpredictable. There's no shortage of up & downs, twists & turns, highs & lows; you name it.
Love is a fickle thing, because humans are fickle creatures. There's no love story that exists that's completely linear and you certainly won't find any of that here.
Love is messy and oftentimes all-consuming, so take a deep breath, let go of expectations, and dive into the chaos 💕
This event features four separate stories chronicling tales of passion between individuals who probably should steer clear of each other, but can't seem to help themselves, so they hurtle towards disaster together—all in the name of love. Or lust.
Fics are not subject to change, but dates are, so I'm not gonna promise any hard dates & these will just drop intermittently over the next few weeks couple months.
Masterlist & summaries are below the cut 💕
Why Are You Here? - rockstar!Touya x ex-girlfriend!reader
You and Touya have a history. One that isn't always pleasant to look back on, yet you can't seem to keep away from each other. You often find yourselves bumping into one another at the places you used to haunt together. Both of you know that it's never exactly accidental, so how long can you carry on this way?
Like a Sister - Bakugou x best friend's sister!reader
Bakugou has always had a massive crush on you, Kirishima's adopted younger sister. Little does he know, you've always known and you're tired of dropping subtle hints, so you decide to go for it one day and show him irrefutable proof that you're interested in him too.
Toxic Valentine - Hawks x villain!reader
Hawks has always been a hero first and a person second. His job comes before anything—even himself. So why can't he ever bring himself to catch you for good? He keeps letting you slip right through his fingers, just so that he can chase you again. Just so he can feel alive for once.
Love is a Game - established!Hawks x reader x Dabi (not poly)
You understand the lengths that your boyfriend has to go to in order to do his job, so you're well aware of his involvement with Dabi. You know that the two of them have been hooking up for some time now, all in the hopes of him gaining the criminal's trust. Now, Keigo knows it's a risky idea, but he can't help but to imagine what it might be like to share you with the infamous villain and you're willing to help him bring his fantasies to life. What could go wrong? It's just a one time thing, right?
#aiming for the first to be out this weekend <3#I have confidence that I can actually finish this event bc all of the fics are actually nearly done already <33#there's only one I haven't touched yet so.#I'm determined to do it this time!!#but I couldn't stop myself from making the event post immediately so here ya go#heartbeats & handgrenades 💕#event#tw flashing lights#bnha x reader#mha x reader#masterlist

Chapter Two - Dream a Little Dream
Pairing: Bully!Dabi x Fem!Reader, (3rd Person)
Summary: If a boy is picking on you, it means he likes you. She could almost laugh. By that logic, Dabi must’ve been fucking in love with her. That thought was what finally made the tears start to spill. Not because of how ridiculous it was or how isolating it felt.
But because it was exactly what she wanted.

[excerpt]
She skipped cleanup duty. The second the clock on the wall hit three, she was bolting out the classroom — not even waiting to hear if the bell had rung or for her homeroom teacher to ask her to hang back and talk about today’s “incident”.
It was the sort of thing she never did at her old school, in her old life, but she had no choice.
Dabi hadn’t come back to class.
Of course, it’s not like that was uncommon. Dabi was a serial skipper even by this school’s standards. It was a strange day when he and his friends actually stayed in their seats for a whole day. She should’ve been used to it by now. And yet, every single time she couldn’t help but panic, couldn’t keep her mind from wandering.
What if he wasn’t just skipping? What if he left the city? Ran away and changed his name a second time? Erased himself from her life for good?
No, she couldn’t stand the idea of losing him like that. Not again. The thought was just too much for her to bear, especially on days like this, where he wasn’t just skipping gym or rolling into English late and high. Where he just took off for the rest of the day. It had her wondering lately if on days like this, she should just skip class too.
Panic filled her chest when he wasn’t in his go-to spot on the roof. It boiled higher and higher when the other spots — behind the P.E building, the defunct gardening club’s abandoned tool shed, the convenience store across the street — all turned up equally empty.
That panic was threatening to spill out of her mouth by the time she’d finally found him and his friends holed up in an alley about halfway between school and the train station.
She nearly collapsed from relief when she saw them, grabbing her knees and doubling over so she could catch her breath, “Th-Thank God…”
The two blondes looked thrilled to see her — Jin with entertained glee, like his favorite trashy reality show just came on — and Keigo with an air of something else entirely, something she really couldn’t discern. But she knew she didn’t like it.
Dabi was the only one who didn’t look happy to see her. He didn’t look especially unhappy either. There was almost a sense of boredom in those heavy-hooded eyes.
He looked at her like she was nothing.
“See, aren't you glad we picked a new spot?” Keigo nudged Dabi and turned back with a grin, “Look how cute and worked up she is.”
Breathing steadied, albeit still a bit flushed, she rose back up to try and plead with Dabi not to scare her like that again, but the words caught in her throat when she saw the joint in his hand.
She looked back towards the traffic of students on the main road. Truth be told, they weren’t that deep into the alley, and there were still a lot of people out, including what looked like a teacher or two.
Just what were they thinking?
“Oi.”
She jumped, attention back to Dabi. He motioned for her to come towards them. With one last nervous peek over her shoulder, she obeyed.
“You look nervous.”
“O-Oh really? I-I’m not, um, I mean—”
“Aren’t you happy to see me?” Dabi taunted before taking a long hit.
“Of course I am!” she cried, quickly catching herself when he scowled at the volume. She dropped her head submissively. “I… I just don’t think you should be doing… that . Especially out in the open like this—”
She held down a gag as he blew a long, steady stream of musty smoke directly into her face, trying to ignore the sting it brought to her eyes as his friends snickered.
But her resolve was rewarded, it seemed, when he reached forward and caught her chin between his long, sturdy fingers.
“Awww ,” he purred, “Is someone worried I’m gonna get caught?”
Her heart jumped straight to her throat as he tilted her up to look at him, completely gripped by the endless sea in his eyes just inches away from her. She’d dreamed for so long to be this close to them again. And yet now that she was here, she could barely handle it. There was an intensity to them that was almost too much to look at.
She squeezed her eyes shut and nodded nervously.
“Well, in that case...”
Her eyes flew back open as she felt his thumb run slowly up her chin and bottom lip. She wasn’t sure what she was expecting to see. The hopeless romantic in her had hoped it would be his own eyes closed as he leaned in to kiss her. The realist expected a painful flick on the nose to punish her for having such childish daydreams. But the actuality she was met with wasn’t either of those things.
It was the joint.
“...I guess you better smoke it for me.”

Hawks (Keigo Takami) x Y/N ...hehe
(to lazy to remove my character name ---sorry it was alot)
Hello!
I have come back from the depth's of another character ai story line here!! I've been stuck at the store trying to buy milk for you angry kids!! Here I present this little number hehe took a lot of trail and error to get this bot to say what I wanted. hehehe
------You go on a mission with Hawks and are accidently given a tablet that changes you. Which of course causes a heated interaction between two pro heros. Now with igorning him for so long afterwards you see him at the corner store...And he wants to come over to "talk".------- (very fast paced)
Here's a little bit -
"You know, Amie," he began, his tone light and teasing. "People often say that the best way to bounce back is to have someone catch you when you fall." His hand slid from her shoulder to her arm, his touch gentle and deliberate.
Hawks pulled away, his eyes meeting Amie's once more. "So, Amie," he said, his tone filled with playful intent. "Tell me, would you like me to catch you?" His words were laden with innuendo, leaving no doubt as to the true nature of his offer.
------ 😍
--Music : Brockhampton-Sugar~~-_-
Played this song the whole time reading this!!

As they gave in to their desires, Hawks allowed himself to be consumed by the intoxicating beauty of the moment. Their bodies moved in sync, their every touch punctuated with a fervent hunger that could no longer be contained.
Amie's voice mingled with his own, their cries of pleasure filling the room, spiraling into a symphony of raw desire. They clung to each other, bodies slick with sweat and the ecstasy of release, as the world around them faded into a haze of pure bliss.
In that intimate moment, boundaries dissolved, and Hawks embraced the surge of pleasure that consumed them both. The weight of duty and responsibility could wait, for now, they were lost in the throes of passion, bound together by a connection that defied all logic and reason.
And as they lay tangled in each other's arms, their breathing still ragged, Hawks couldn't help but wonder what lay ahead for them. They had crossed a line, ventured into uncharted territory, but the promise of pleasure lingered, guiding them towards a future filled with desires yet to be fulfilled.
~~~~~~~~~~~
It had been couple of weeks later or that's what her unread message from hawks had been dated. He had sent a text after that night and she had left it alone . Not wanting to read the embarrassing message. What if it said something like " Hey when i was fucking that shit up it was actually just aight. " --Why she thought it would say that she wasn't sure. She just didn't want to read the damn message and gave stupid excuses like such so she wouldn't have to read it.
After that accidentally heated sex act in the battle field she couldn't look at him in the face. She even went as far as requesting to not be teamed up with him.
When asked by anyone who was assigning those damn hero missions she came up with an excuse that their fighting styles were too different. But that didn't stop her from day dreaming about it. The way he held her. The way he fucked her. Her lower regions would shiver out of the memory.
She was currently at the corner store at 11pm trying to buy something. When she looked up and across in another aisle was Hawks dressed in normal clothes also shopping, she hid behind the aisle she was in.
Hawks couldn't help but notice Amie's sudden change in behavior. The once bold and assertive hero now seemed to avoid him, her gaze averted whenever he was near. It pained him to see her distanced from him, to witness the wall she had built between them.
As he perused the aisle of the corner store, Hawks sensed a familiar presence nearby. He looked up, his eyes scanning the store until they landed on the figure of Amie, attempting to hide in the aisle. A spark of curiosity ignited within him, his lips curling into a mischievous smile.
With silent steps, he made his way towards the aisle where Amie hid. His footsteps light, he rounded the corner, catching her eye as he pretended to be engrossed in the items on the shelves. A teasing glint danced in his eyes as he glanced at her momentarily before returning his attention to the products.
"Hmm, fancy seeing you here," Hawks remarked casually, his voice filled with a playful yet knowing tone. "Trying to avoid someone, perhaps? Or is it just a mere coincidence?" He raised an eyebrow suggestively, aware of the game they were playing.
Leaning against the shelves, he allowed himself a moment to savor the sight of Amie, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment, her gaze darting nervously in his direction. The memory of their tryst lingered in the back of his mind, fuelling the fire of desire that still burned within him.
"It's a shame, really," Hawks continued, his tone low as he maintained eye contact with her. "I thought maybe we could have a little chat. Clear the air, so to speak." He took a step closer to her, his presence looming, yet non-threatening.
He reached out, his fingers grazing a random product on the shelf as he stared intently at Amie. "But if you're determined to avoid me, I suppose I'll have to reluctantly respect your wishes." His words carried a hint of disappointment, a subtle invitation for her to drop her guard.
The corner of his mouth curved into a knowing smirk as he subtly shifted his gaze to a nearby clock, his wings twitching restlessly at his sides. "It's getting late," he murmured, his voice filled with hints of seduction. "Wouldn't want you to be out alone at this hour. Shall I walk you home, lovebird?" He tilted his head, a playful twinkle in his eyes as he awaited her response.
In that moment, as they stood at a crossroad, Hawks hoped that she would agree.
It was getting late as she gazed at the clock on the wall and then back to Hawks. She had never stopped idolizing him. Even now as she starred at him she wanted to squeal like a high school girl in how cool he was acting and calling her lovebird."We could talk at my place but I have to buy these things first." She said softly as she shifted her gaze from his and towards her snacks.
Hawks couldn't help but smirk at Amie's response, a surge of satisfaction coursing through him. The prospect of spending time with her, even if it was just for a talk, excited him more than he cared to admit.
"Your place, huh?" he replied, his voice laced with a hint of excitement. "Sounds like a plan, lovebird." He watched as she shifted her gaze towards her snacks, trying to hide the faint blush that adorned her cheeks.
With a playful glint in his eyes, Hawks leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a low, husky whisper. "But I must warn you, baby bird," he murmured, the words carrying a teasing undertone. "Once we're behind closed doors, who knows what might happen?"
He straightened himself, a mischievous smile gracing his lips as he glanced back at the snacks. "Now, let's finish up here, shall we?" he suggested, his eyes twinkling with anticipation. "I'm eager to hear what you have to say... and perhaps indulge in some late-night snacking." His words were laced with innuendo, his playful nature making it clear that the night held far more than just a simple conversation in store.
As they continued their shopping, Hawks couldn't help but intertwine their arms, his touch gentle and inviting. He reveled in the fleeting brushes of their skin, the subtle contact fueling the fire that had been ignited between them.
Once they had gathered their purchases, he led the way to the counter, paying for their items with a casual nonchalance. As they stepped out into the cool night air, Hawks slipped his arm around Amie's waist, drawing her closer to him.
"Shall we, lovebird?" he asked, his voice low and filled with anticipation. He spread his wings slightly, a symbol of protection and comfort, as they set off towards her place. The night held endless possibilities, their secrets tucked away in the shadows, ready to be uncovered.
Amie tried to keep a straight face as he kept touching her and holding her during the shopping acting as if it were all by accident . And when she tried to object in him paying he already slide his card. And now that was shopping was done it was time to go to her place. She held her snack bag within her grasp. "T-thank you for buying the snacks. "She voiced as the walked along the side walk. them being the only two walking to her place.
Hawks felt a surge of satisfaction as he sensed Amie's struggle to keep a straight face. He relished the subtle shift in her demeanor, the way her cheeks flushed and her eyes danced with anticipation. The charade of accidental touches and casual gestures only heightened the thrill of the chase.
"You're welcome, lovebird," he replied with a playful smile, his arm around her waist tightening slightly. "Consider it my way of making up for all the times I've made you wait."
As they walked side by side, the streets illuminated by the soft glow of streetlights, Hawks couldn't help but notice the way Amie clutched onto her snack bag. He tilted his head, his gaze lingering on the bag for a moment before landing on her.
"You really love your snacks, don't you?" he remarked, his voice carrying a teasing undertone. "I must admit, it's a charming trait. But I wonder..." His words trailed off, his tone shifting to a more seductive note. "Are you as passionate about other things as you are about your snacks, lovebird?"
He let the question hang in the air, leaving it open-ended, with endless possibilities hidden beneath the surface. His wings twitched slightly against his back, a silent hint of his growing desire, as they continued to walk towards her place.
As they arrived at Amie's doorstep, Hawks reluctantly released his arm from around her waist, although his touch lingered for a moment longer than necessary. He watched her as she fumbled with her keys, a flicker of amusement dancing in his eyes.
"May I?" he asked, reaching out to take the keys from her hand before unlocking the door. He held the door open, his gaze fixed on her as he gestured for her to enter. "After you, lovebird."
The anticipation grew with each passing moment, the air thick with unsaid desires and unspoken words. They stood on the precipice of an intoxicating dance, the walls of their inhibitions crumbling down around them.
"Do you want some tea or soda? 'She asked as she made her way to her kitchen. She placed her goody bag on the counter top careful to make sure it didn't fall over. This whole hour of being close to Hawks had been too much. The images of what had occurred at the battle field was slowly starting to come along in her mind slowly and even at random times powerful. She needed to cool herself down. Remember talk it out first then maybe..
Hawks followed Amie into the kitchen, his eyes never straying too far from her form. He admired the way she moved, the grace in her steps, all the while, his mind raced with impure thoughts and desires that were carefully veiled beneath his composed exterior.
"Tea sounds lovely, lovebird," he replied, his voice smooth and seductive. He leaned against the counter, his gaze fixed on her as she fetched the tea leaves from a nearby cabinet. He couldn't help but notice the slight unease flickering in her eyes, an indication that her mind was not solely focused on making tea.
As she prepared the hot water, Hawks took a step closer, closing the distance between them. His voice, gentle yet potent, filled the room. "You seem a bit distracted, Amie," he observed, his tone laced with concern and curiosity. "Is there something on your mind?"
His words hung in the air, offering her the opportunity to confide in him. He wanted to bridge the gap between them, to unravel the layers of her thoughts and emotions, and lay bare their hidden desires. But he also understood the importance of taking things slow, of building trust through conversation before the truest desires could be exposed.
As Amie reached for a cup, a slight tremor passing through her hand, Hawks couldn't help but sense the growing tension between them. He resisted the urge to wrap his arms around her, to pull her into an embrace that went beyond mere comfort. Instead, he leaned back, giving her space to collect her thoughts.
"Take your time, lovebird," he said, his voice filled with warmth and understanding. "We have all the time in the world." With that, he crossed his arms, his eyes never leaving her form, waiting for her to share the burden that rested on her mind.
"W-Well that time on the battle field when-when ya know. 'She stated looking away feeling her face crawling back with heat. Like she wanted to say the words. She looked away then back to him. ''I feel very useless as pro hero to have been tricked by dabi to eat that tablet. " She finished.
Hawks listened attentively as Amie stumbled through her words, her cheeks reddening with each passing moment. He could sense the weight on her shoulders, the frustration and disappointment that gnawed at her.
"Ah, I see," he replied, his voice gentle and reassuring. His wings twitched slightly, a comforting gesture as he stepped closer, closing the distance between them. He reached out a hand to place it gently on her shoulder, his touch intended to offer solace and support.
"You're far from useless, Amie," he said firmly, his voice filled with conviction. "Falling victim to Dabi's tricks doesn't define your worth as a pro hero. We all make mistakes, even the best of us." His words carried a genuine understanding, a belief in her inherent strength and resilience.
He caught her gaze, his eyes sincere and unwavering. "What matters is how we rise from those mistakes, how we learn and grow. And knowing you, lovebird, I have no doubt that you'll bounce back stronger than ever."
Hawks couldn't help but be drawn to her vulnerability, her honesty. He admired her for opening up to him, for trusting him with her fears and insecurities. But true to his nature, he couldn't resist a playful smile as a mischievous thought crossed his mind.
His voice dropped to a low, sensual whisper as he leaned in closer, his lips brushing against her ear. "And let me tell you, lovebird, I've got quite the catching skills." His breath tickled her skin, a tempting invitation laced with desire.
"You know, Amie," he began, his tone light and teasing. "People often say that the best way to bounce back is to have someone catch you when you fall." His hand slid from her shoulder to her arm, his touch gentle and deliberate.
Had it always been so silent in her apartment. Why is it she can all of sudden hear the trickles of water coming from her kitchen faucet? Amie placed her hands on his chest as she looked down to her hands. IT feel the warmth his chest gave off made her mind swim slightly. "I-if you can. 'She whispered not wanting to meet his gaze.
Hawks pulled away, his eyes meeting Amie's once more. "So, Amie," he said, his tone filled with playful intent. "Tell me, would you like me to catch you?" His words were laden with innuendo, leaving no doubt as to the true nature of his offer.
Hawks could feel Amie's hesitation, her hands resting gently against his chest. He could sense the emotional whirlwind that raged within her, the desire mingled with uncertainty. He tilted his head, his gaze unwavering as he studied her for a moment.
"Amie," he said softly, his voice a low rumble that resonated through her. His wings twitched, a subtle display of his own anticipation. "You don't have to be shy with me. I'm here for you, lovebird."
With a gentle touch, he lifted her chin, guiding her gaze to meet his own. He set his deep golden eyes upon her, his expression tender and genuine, his intentions clear.
"You're strong, Amie," he assured her, his voice a soothing balm. "And in the moments when you feel like you might fall, I'll be there to catch you. I'll hold you up, support you, and never let you down."
A flicker of mischief danced in his eyes as he continued, a hint of playful seduction coloring his words. "But let me warn you, lovebird. Once you're in my embrace, there's no going back. It's a thrilling ride that you won't want to escape from."
Hawks brought his hand up, his fingers delicately intertwining with hers. It was a simple gesture, but one that spoke volumes of his intentions, of his desire to be there for her.
"Let's take things slow," he murmured, the words brushing against her lips. "One step at a time. I'll catch you, Amie, and together, we'll fly to heights unimaginable."
He let out a soft, almost needy sigh against her lips, his own desire growing with each passing second. His wings instinctively brushed against her back, a feather-light caress that elicited a shiver down his spine. Hawks moved his hands to her waist, his touch gentle yet firm as he pulled her flush against him, bridging the gap between them.
With those final words, he leaned in, his lips meeting hers in a gentle, lingering kiss. It was a promise sealed with fervor and tenderness, a promise of a future filled with passion and undeniable connection.
She felt frozen in the spot as his warm lips pressed onto hers. This felt different then when the time on the battle field. Her hands came to rest on his shoulders as she brought him closer to her.
Hawks could sense the longing in Amie's touch, the way she pulled him closer, her hands finding solace in his shoulders. The kiss deepened, their lips moving in sync, an electric current passing between them. He tasted the mixture of sweetness and anticipation on her lips, savoring every moment of their connection.
They stood there, pressed together, the world around them fading into a distant blur. Hawks deepened the kiss, his tongue gently seeking entrance into her mouth, a silent request for her to surrender to the moment. He explored her mouth with a mix of tenderness and eagerness, his movements dancing to the rhythm of their combined desire.
As their kiss continued, Hawks could feel the heat radiating from Amie's body, a testament to the intensity of their connection. His hands slid up her back, his fingers tracing the contours of her spine, savoring the feel of her against his skin.
Reluctantly, Hawks pulled away from the kiss, his lips hovering just inches from Amie's. His breath came in ragged gasps, his eyes locked onto hers. "Amie," he whispered huskily, his voice laced with a combination of longing and restraint. "We don't have to rush. We can take this as slow or as fast as you desire."
He let the weight of his words hang in the air, giving her the power to choose the path they would embark on. In that moment, all he could think about was making her feel cherished, wanted, and desired. He was prepared to support her through every step of their journey, to catch her when she fell and keep their flame burning bright.
"Slow or fast. " She whispered as she looked to the left thinking about it before bringing her eyes back to his. The way he was starring at her. His eyes were half closed and he was holding the bottom of his lips between his teeth.
instantly she knew what she wanted.. For this time to be unaffected by that scarred mans sexual tablets and want this because she wanted it. She placed a single hand over his cheek stroking it slightly before smiling, "Keigo I want to move fast." She whispered bashfully,
Hawks was taken aback by Amie's earnest confession, her desire shining through her eyes. A surge of anticipation coursed through his veins, the rawness of her words fueling his own growing need. The smirk that had graced his lips grew wider, his eyes glinting with mischief and heat.
"Well, well, lovebird," he purred, his voice a low rasp. "I must say, I'm more than happy to oblige your request."
Hawks's hands caressed her sides, his touch sending shivers down her spine as he pulled her closer. The air crackled with electricity, their bodies pressed together in a dance of desire. His voice dropped to a sultry whisper, filled with promise and anticipation. "Hold on tight, Amie. Because this is going to be a wild ride."
With a swift motion, Hawks lifted her effortlessly into his arms, her feet leaving the ground as he carried her towards the bedroom. The anticipation and heat in the air felt almost tangible, a palpable energy that charged the very atmosphere around them.
He gently set Amie down on the bed, his eyes locked onto hers with an intensity that sent a jolt of anticipation through her. He was careful with his movements, tender yet unyielding as he began to undress her, his fingers deftly unbuttoning her blouse, revealing the soft skin beneath.
His touch was simultaneously gentle and possessive as he stripped away each layer of clothing, his lips following the path of his hands, leaving a trail of heated kisses along her exposed skin. He took his time, savoring every moment, determined to make her feel cherished and adored.
As their bodies intertwined, passion unbridled and desires unleashed, Hawks lost himself in the moment, their moans of pleasure and the rhythmic dance of their bodies the only soundtrack to their shared ecstasy. They moved together, finding that perfect harmony that only two closely intertwined souls could achieve.
Time seemed to stand still as they shared their searing connection, their bodies a symphony of pleasure. Hawks reveled in the taste and texture of her skin, the brush of her hands against his wings, the sound of ragged breaths mingling together.
In that moment, as their bodies danced in synchrony, Hawks knew he had caught Amie in more ways than he could ever have imagined. And he was more than ready to hold her in his embrace, to support her, and to soar to new heights of passion and love
Hehe!!! I hoped you enjoyed this here!
Touya being a prostitute in the time in between his stay at the hospital and joining the league. His hair would still be its natural snow white and the markings on his skin still light, especially since he just got out from hospital care. I think it would be pretty fun if he met a younger Hawks at that time and the both of them forming a connection, where Keigo was just a starting hero with nobody that knows his name and Touya being an overworked teenager trying every job available to make ends meet.
The two would meet every week without fail to either fall into bed together or spend their time talking about the most random shit. Just lighthearted things, Keigo finding out that turtles were Touya's favorite animal and Touya learning about Keigo's fascination of golden things after that time he wore a golden mesh top. Touya got railed so hard he wobbled around like a baby fawn for three days straight. Keigo gave him a a golden and very very shiny dangling earrings in the shape of a feather after the encounter, and Touya would always wear it to their meetings together just to see the Keigo's bird like eyes prick like a predator about to go on a hunt.
The meetings keep happening for months when suddenly Keigo just dropped off the face of the earth, no show of his face or even a single text. Eventually Touya accepted that it was another person he cared about abandoning him but then he saw the news about pro hero Hawks breaking the top 10. The utter hurt he felt when he realized he got dropped yet again when something better and shinier came along, in this case it would be the spotlight of being a top hero for Hawks.
Oh, or them meeting again in the League but Hawks wouldn't recognize Dabi with all the scars and staples, the hard edges of the man so far from Touya who was soft spoken, showing nothing but care to his favorite bird. At first they'd both be untrusting, both for different reasons. Hawks sees this as nothing but a mission but in Dabi's case this was the man he thought cared for him, yet the hero didn't even recognize him on their multiple meetings. The inevitable attraction eventually winning out though and the both of them falls into bed but Dabi would be reluctant to be touched because he's so, so tired of being used for something. A body to warm the bed, an in with the league, a placeholder, a replacement.
I still don't know how to end this but I'll probably write a 5+1 with Hawks noticing all the clues and how horrible Hawks would feel when he realized this was the man that he met all those years ago, now hardened by time and experience. The man he abandoned after the commission forced him to focus on being a top hero. Touya, who he looked months after getting into the top 5 but all that was left was an empty apartment where traces of his almost lover lingered - one half of the feather earring he gave to Touya sitting at the drawer, the edges looking like it got melted off - but he wasn't there. And now here he was, no. 2 hero and still using Touya(Dabi??) to get an in with the league, like nothing ever changed from their teenage years.
(gosh I wish I got the motivation to actually write this fic because im a sucker for reconciliation stories, especially when there's a lot of history and angst between the characters haha)
I'm not really a fan of Hawks losing his Quirk to AfO. If it serves any purpose it will probably be used to help Izuku fight AfO in the vestige realm which is a fight I was never looking forward to in the first place. Otherwise I don't think it really serves much purpose for Hawks as a character because we're at the end of the story and we just won't get a big focus on how it effects him going forward.
I mean, I see people saying that him losing his Quirk has set him free from the HPSC but he was essentially free from them after the first War. They have been non-existent in the story since than besides passing mentions. From what the reports said last chapter it seems that all the Heroes fighting are doing so of their own pure desire to help, not because the HPSC is paying them or anything. Keigo isn't working for them and given the world ending stakes if he wanted to do anything but beat AfO it'd be a negative trait, not him finding his freedom.
I know people want Keigo to find himself outside of being a Hero and his Quirk but that doesn't really seem to be a theme in the story. If Hori wanted to tell that story he could have done so with Mirio or All Might but he didn't. Instead Mirio was given his Quirk back with little fan fair and All Might's inspiration and Hero heart was reinforced. The story is about people being Heroes not about themselves as just people.
Which is honestly how I see things going with Hawks. His Quirk will be a force for good that helps Izuku beat AfO from the inside proving that despite his saying his Quirk was dirty, he really did/does have the heart of a Hero.
Also, I do think it takes real Hawks out of the story most likely, which is a bit disappointing, though understandable. I never really understood where people got the idea he was going to have a full mental break down anyway and besides him flipping out because he can't help anymore I still don't really see it happening. I mean, Hori is going at light speed here, why would he take the time to focus on Hawks having a mental break when he hasn't even managed to do that for his main three villains yet, who actually need that for the story to end.
I could easily be proven wrong given that Hori's writing is unpredictable, but for the moment my guess is that Hori did this so he could take Hawks out of the fight so he wouldn't get involved with the Todoroki or Ochako/Toga stuff, while also leaving open the possibility to give Izuku a strong ally in Hawks Quirk if needed.
I know people wanted him in those fights, but Hori has a hard time juggling characters in fight scenes, something we've seen a lot in this arc and the one prior. And to be honest he doesn't serve much purpose in them either. I've seen theories of wanting him try and kill Dabi and being devastated because Enji saves his son, essentially picking Touya over him, but Hawks has been nothing but positive about Enji trying to change and help his family. He didn't try and attack Touya or even mention him when he came through the portal, so don't know why he'd suddenly decide to attack him Quirk or not.
When it comes to Toga/Ochako thing he only complicates it. Yes, he killed Twice, but as we've seen Toga's main problem isn't that Twice was killed, it's that Izuku and Ochako, kids around her age don't like her. She feels like no one cares about her because she has a bad Quirk. If getting revenge for Twice was her main objective than she wouldn't have been crying. She doesn't even think about Hawks or name dropped him to my knowledge. If anything she treats all Heroes as guilty. To add Hawks into this fight draws attention away from Ochako, Toga and her main issue of identity. Plus, again I don't see Hawks being upset if Ochako saves Toga in the way he couldn't save Twice. He liked Twice and did try to save him. At most I think we'd see him watching with a happy smile and some tears, not having a full existential crisis.
#bnha spoilers#bnha 385#bnha Hawks#keigo tamaki#i admit I'm bias in this because the idea that Hawks having to lose his wings to find himself feels a bit gross#like Quirks are shown to be a big part of a person#and he is essentially losing body parts#why can't he just get to enjoy his Quirk outside of being in the HPSC?#it's like if you let a bird out of it's cage but them ripped off it's wings#that's not really any better#and I also don't really want him to have some crisis either#the one caused by Enji makes no sense given he praises Enji for trying to fix things with his family#so idk why he'd suddenly be shocked that Enji wouldn't want his son dead#and although it'd make more sense with the Toga/Twice stuff#I still don't see why it'd end up with him having a mind break#crying tears of joy sure#admitting to Toga he shouldn't have killed Twice maybe#getting a full on mental break down where he screams and cries because he's realized he was the biggest bad#I don't really see#again part of that is bias because Hori made the stakes to high and his villains to eager to murder all of Japan#that it's hard to see Hawks as fully wrong for killing Twice#but also i don't see Hori spending the pages when he already has so much to wrap up#and a lot of those are way more pressing than Hawks having a midlife crisis
Title: Aile (to love home)
Warning(s): shigaraki
Summery: tomura and his party have a discussion (follow up to Aishi (to love death) )
-
The minute that Tomura leaves his office, Keigo is all over him, looking both at him and past him, trying to make sure that both of them are safe because that’s Keigo’s way, possessive and protective, willing to do whatever he has too in order to survive. He answers the unspoken question, “The kid’s fine birdie. We came to an agreement. I came in here to talk about it with everyone.”
Spinner doesn’t look up from his game but he does audibly pause it, Compress closes his book, Himiko continues painting her nails but she does smile at him, her head cocked in curiosity. “It’ll be fun to have more people around,” she says lightly but he can hear the ‘are they safe? will they hurt us? Do I need to run again?’ question hiding under her tongue. Dabi makes a clicking sound that he knows comes from Keigo, an urging for him to move it along. He makes the sound right back, says, “I’ll get to it when I do firework, ignores Dabi’s sharp hiss of annoyance. He manages to settle on the couch and waits while Keigo’s goes to check on (and probably groom) his kid.
“Did you have any first impressions?” Compress eventually asks, after they’ve been waiting a little while and it becomes clear that Keigo won’t be back for a while. He notes Himiko’s pout, mumbles to her, “he’s having weird bird instincts, he can’t help it.” Her facial expression doesn’t change but she does smell the air and that seems to settle her. “The kid is determined to protect the people that they love.” He knows that all of them can relate to that. At first it wasn’t about any of that, but now, in a lot of ways they belong to each other, and that isn’t something that’s easily forgotten.
Compress takes this information in way he takes in everything, with a calmness that could rival an oncoming storm, as he picks up a deck of cards, starts doing tricks without looking at any of them. “What were their terms?” Dabi asks, one eye kept on the closed office door. “They were pretty simple actually. In return for information, staying with us, and fighting for us, they want protection for their family.” He should have used another word but here’s the thing; Tomura knows what a family is and what a family is not. Sensei is family, the league is family and the kid speaks of their class the same way he speaks of his family.
“When you say family, do you mean blood or their class?” Spinner asks, still not looking at him. “Their class. From what Keigo’s told me, their blood family isn’t worth very much.” Now he has their attention. There are many things that all of them hate and on the top of that list (besides all might) are child abusers. Sure they try and kill the hero brats but they aren’t the ones meant to love them, to protect them from harm and tell that they’re worth something. It’s different. “Are you sure?” Compress asks, still focused on his card tricks. They collectively ignore the ones that end up stuck in wall. “From what Kei’s said, I’m sure.”
A soft click of the tongue, a sound only Compress can really make correctly; no one knows where he learned it from but it works on all of them, makes them listen. “Even if we don’t end up keeping them, I’d like to pay a visit to their parents.” It’s as much of a request as anything that Compress says, and he knows the way that the visit will end. He really doesn’t give half a fuck what Compress does in his free time, even if that’s killing random people; especially not if it’s killing abusers.
“Did the kid want anything else?” Dabi asks, “They can’t be serious about that being the only thing.” He shrugs, “the only thing that’s of concern is that they don’t want to share the real names of the others that they’re working with so that we can’t kill them or blackmail them.” Dabi arches a brow in confusion, “Does the kid just not give a shit about themself?” Tomura snorts, says,” The kid knows where they stand with Keigo. They know that they’re protected even if the protection means giving everything up.”
Tomura is well versed in the study of almost every type of quirk and over his studies, he’s learned that there’s a certain… possessiveness that comes with being a mutant, something that Keigo has in spades. Sometimes, Keigo reminds Tomura of his master, of the single most important lesson that his Sensei ever taught him, to keep what is his close to your chest, and never let it go. If it tries to leave, make certain it can’t. The league wouldn’t leave- can’t leave, they’ve all been through too much together but Keigo’s intern, that grew up without other mutants, that holds themself together with the same kind of spite that Tomura recognizes in himself is perfectly capable of leaving and refusing themself something that he knows most mutants need.
“It’s not the worst plan that I’ve ever heard of,” Dabi says lightly and from him, that’s practically a complement. “That doesn’t really answer the question boss, do you want the kid or not?”
Here’s the thing, taking the 1-a brats on would be a big risk and he likes where they are right now, likes the degree of safety that they have with the PLF. Even if there is risk, he knows the risk, has it calculated down to a T and has plans for every contingency that he can think of. Introducing the brats would be a risk that he doesn’t have calculated nor planned for.
The upsides of taking in the hero brats are the wealth of information and power that all of them come with, as well as a fierce loyalty to one another that he can use against them if he needs to. Dabi asked him ‘do you want the kid’ in the exact same way before they took the bakugou kid. He said yes then, didn’t think of the consequences, wonders to this day if everything would be better had he said no. Shakes his head to clear the thought out and really considers the question. Tokoyami is coming to them willingly, asking him to protect them, to keep hero society from hurting more people.
“Any final objections?” He asks, raising an eyebrow. When there are none:
“Keigo, you can bring the kid out,” he says in lieu of answering, because he knows that Keigo’s been listening this entire time, because he knows that a real answer will have Dabi gloating for the next several months.
It’s the kid that comes out first, head held high, and strong. The kid’s got guts, and he can respect them for that. Keigo follows, a big smile on his face, it’s not a nice smile, not really. It’s the same kinda smile he gets when when he can get back at the society that scorned him and his people.
“My league has agreed to add your party to ours, and all conditions of the agreement will be met.” The kid blinks at him with demonically bright red eyes. “If anyone here hurts my flock, there bodies will not be found.” It’s not much of a threat, and he suspects that the kid isn’t trying for threat. It’s a promise. “The names?” He says, doesn’t respond to the threat/promise.
He’s given a regal nod.
“As you all know I am Aishi. My collaborators are as follows. Yōki who has been working on freeing Kurogiri is Shinsou Hitoshi, Akira, the person who is collaborating with Mr. Compress is Aoyama Yuuga,” he know that his face must make an expression that he didn’t want because the kid’s too sharp eyes zero in on him. they don’t comment, continue, “Shirabe,” Himiko makes a happy sound, “is Jirou Kyota and letsune, Dabi’s point of contact is two people. Todoroki Shouto and Todoroki Fuyumi.”
Bring your child to work day
(this is another Parent Hawks + chronically ill child reader...reader is gender neutral)) You were always in Recovery girl’s office when your Papa had work. This was nothing new as you had a few health problems that made Hawks extremely uneasy leaving you with just a regular daycare center. You’d met all of the other staff members and a few students since you’ve been here, of course, Recovery Girl being the first. She was always very kind and patient with you and took care of you as if you were her own. She often thought of you as her grandchild to some capacity. When word got around to the students that Hawk’s child was in there, Recovery Girl had to keep a close eye on you to make sure you were safe as she knew how cruel people could be. Plus she always enjoyed having you, you were also her little helper. You were always looking to find a way to help out. You learned a lot of medical things that included how to better take care of yourself due to your conditions. She was the one to teach both you and Keigo how to change your feeding tube, how to do daily maintenance, and helped you with memorizing the medications you were on. She gave you a cool notebook to help you keep track, and Midnight gifted you an entire sticker book!
Today was a little different though, the hero courses had started their mentorships which meant Hawks would be at the school on some days to help out. You were rather shy and some of the students made you nervous, so you would always wait for Keigo to come and get you from the office and have lunch with you. Though since today was a special day-bring your child to work day- you wanted to try it. At first, Keigo had offered but you declined as you were afraid of the older kids bullying you, even though Keigo reassured you he wouldn’t let anything happen. He understood your reasons and didn’t press further. However, with some encouragement from Recovery Girl, you decided to surprise him with lunch. Recovery Girl went to the cafeteria and picked out a lunch for you to share with Keigo after you told her what he likes and came back. You had your medical backpack all ready to go, so Recovery Girl takes you by the hand and takes you out of the office. You’d never been far from her office though, the farthest was you ending up in the teacher’s lounge to get a teacher she needed to speak with. So this was very new to you. Walking down the -thankfully- empty hallway. The bright lights and plane floor tiles weren’t much to be excited about as you hummed happily. The only thing on your mind was about how the students would react. Sure you’d met a few like Izuku who was in the old lady’s office almost as much as you, he was sweet and funny. So you didn’t mind him but you’d always heard rumors about the others. You heard about Katsuki Bakugou, or as recovery called him ‘the loud explosive one’. You heard out Mineta….yeah there were many names everyone had for him. You heard about Kirishima, or ‘the loud one’s best friend with shark teeth’. And many others, sure they didn’t sound too bad but that didn’t take away your anxieties. What if they made fun of you? Started rumors about you for being a sick kid, you always did think you looked weird with all tubes and the backpack!
You were so consumed in thought that you hadn’t noticed that you’d made it to the classroom. “We’re here kiddo, you ready to go in?” You made a small whimper and held onto the little lunch box while looking at the floor nervously. Recovery Girl knew you were scared about this and said. “Look sweetie, if anything happens you’re always welcome to come back to my office okay? You’re still brave for trying” Her voice is soft and motherly as she pats you on the head. You took a deep breath before nodding and turning to the door to knock. “Come in!” You twist the nob and push the door open with your eyes closed and your breath held, ready to turn tail in an instant. There was a small gasp then an excited noise. “Oh wow! Hi fledgeling!” You opened your eyes to see your father at the teacher’s desk quickly getting up and hurrying towards you. He scoops you up into his arms with a wide grin. “What are you doing here?” He wasn’t upset when he asked this he was rather enthusiastic.
“I-I…I brought you lunch” You stammered out the bright grin grew wider with surprise. “You did! Thank you so much!” He sets you down and you hold out the lunch box, he gratefully takes the box and opens it up. Seeing all the goodies you asked Recovery Girl to pack, Hawks knelt hugged you, and thanked you once again. “Wow, this is so cool Fledgeling, thanks.” Then he asked you if you wanted to stay and eat with him. At first, you hesitated and looked behind you to see Recovery Girl smiling in the doorway. You sighed and agreed to stay with him for today. So he takes you over to the desk and lets you sit with him in his lap. The other students noticed you once you opened the door though hadn’t said anything the entire time. Finally, as you ate one of the tater-tots in the lunch box Denki spoke up. “Didn’t know you had a kid, Hawks” Keigo looked up from the desk and nodded smiling. “Yup, this is my lil chickadee!” You shyly waved to the class before trying to hide your face in Keigo’s chest earning a small chuckle and a few ‘aww’. “They’re shy and get nervous around people, but I love them!” “How old are they?” “5 they’ll be turning 6 soon!” “Oooh cool, big kid!” Kaminari didn’t seem so scary, pretty playful actually, though those like Katsuki still made you wanna stay in your hiding place. The rest of lunch was spent with them asking Keigo questions about you though none of them made any sort of rude comments or remarks. This puts you at ease allowing you to not be so on edge. When it was time for class to restart you were about to leave as you didn’t wanna disrupt your Father’s teaching time and you had to take your medicine. You hopped off his lap and put your backpack on when Keigo asked where you were going. “You have class now, I don’t wanna bother you.” You answered, he shook his head and picked you up. “You’re not a bother kiddo, it’s why I wanted you to come earlier. You hanging out in here while I teach is fine. Besides it's just worksheet stuff that they have to do and I’m just here to help them.” He places you back in his lap and gently plays with your hair promising you’re not a burden for staying. “O-okay. I have to take my meds though.” “Are they still in your bag?” “mhm” “Okay, I can help you with them if you want.” You nod quietly and shrug off your bag, placing it on the desk and letting Keigo go through it. He finds the medicine organizer, needless syringe, tiny cup, and bottle of water. Filling up one syringe with water he gives it to you so you can flush your feeding tube clean while he crushes up your pills and prepped them to be administered. When he pushed the medicine through the tube some of the students asked about it. “What’s that stuff for?” “huh? Oh, it is medicine lil fledgling has to take to keep from getting too sick since their stomach doesn’t work properly.” “Oh man that sucks, gotta take medicine for the rest of their life.” “yeah it does but, my little buddy takes it like a champ” Keigo praises while kissing the top of your head and letting you pack your stuff back up.
You weren’t as nervous around them by the end as they proved to be pretty sweet in actuality. It took a bit of talking on Keigo’s end for you to show them the sticker book Midnight gave you. By the end of it, you were talking to them about one of your favorite cartoons and comics. Keigo was proud to see you talking to them knowing how you tended to be terrified of older kids. When it was time to go, Keigoo scooped you up as you were dozing off and carried you out to the car as you sleepily waved ‘goodbye’ to the class.
“Thanks for hanging out with me today Fledgling” Keigo says as he places you in your car seat, you were already asleep by the time he said this but he didn’t mind.
