Deadlift party for one brought to you by the good folks at @nexussportsnutrition and @massnutritionaustralia ! This session was about volume and grip. Working through banded deads up to a single at 240kg+40kg of band resistance at lockout. Looking to build strength through the top of my lift for @static_monsters . No straps this session to build grip strength as well ahead of my next NSWSM qualifying event mid November. With very short turn around between #titansofthehunter last month, #static_monsters on the 28th, then @ptcmacarthur 's #keeperoftherealm on November 18th, I've had to adjust my training to hit both heavy volume and close to max effort lifts. This session I used #essentialaminos as my only supp, pre and post to ensure I had the fuel on board to get the session done and give my muscles what they need to keep firing through the session. 4 from 6 lifts today for my first @static_monsters and I'm not disappointed! Came out of log with a 120kg and PB equal 125kg, before failing a 130kg attempt. Axle deads I pulled 310kg for my first lift, failed 325kg after forgetting to latch my belt, then stepped back up and ground it out on my second attempt for a 15kg PB. 450kg total, I'll take that first time out! Great day out repping the team, @nexussportsnutrition @massnutritionaustralia @massnutritioncessnock @massnutritionraymondterrace @hunterstrengthandperformance and @coalcitystrongman Thanks to @ptcmacarthur for a great comp.
