What looks like a foxkin couple and their child approaches Utur. The child has a bandaged arm. What appears to be the mother calls out to them.

"Excuse me? Apologies if we're bothering you, but are you the groundskeeper? Doctor C said we should come speak to you." They speak hesitantly, not wanting to raise their voice too much and disturb the children they know Utur has.

"Ah, yeah, i'm the groundskeeper." Utur nods, looking over to the small group. "how can i help you? uh, you guys doing alright?" Their voice is soft, but easy to hear. They can't help but glance at the child's arm, worriedly.

They set down the trowel they had been using for the weeds in their garden. "any specific reason why doctor c sent you here?"

It is nice. Most bodies are prone to sudden and unusual errors. Ours is not. All errors that do affect us, are easily detectable, and fixable.

Utur hears a gentle knock at their door.

"Hey hon, I heard you were feeling out of it. I brought you some of your favorite chili..."

There is a noise from inside, and after a few minutes, Utur opens the door. They look... well, they don't look sick in a human sense, though they do have the body language of someone who hasn't slept in days. Their eyes, though, are an odd flickering of solid yellow to yellow iris to normal, and if one looks closely, they would notice the ends of Utur's locs look burned. Not like hair burns though, more like paper, or perhaps a candle wick.

There's a feeling in the air around them as well. Odd flickers of displaced time like eddies in water, big enough to notice but small enough not to do much. It feels odd to move through, buzzing and jittering like the air before lightning strikes.

"hey." Utur says, their voice flat in a way that feels a little uncomfortable. "sorry, not really feeling great right now. been worse than usual today."

in honor of steven and the ghoul boys shitting the proverbial bed, here's some of my favorite youtube channels/podcasts with similar vibes!

michael reeves: an extremely unhinged youtuber who makes robots! he only posts once or twice a year, but his videos are super worth it!

sorta stupid: my favorite reaction channel. these guys are super chill and funny, and they are the ultimate allies (go check out their toh series if you wanna see them be huge lumity shippers!)

microwave society: they also do reactions, but they specialize in shitty kids movies (and the occasional classic like megamind or shrek). check out their veggietales videos if you want to laugh until you puke.

max0r: does unhinged video game reviews that are like crack for people with adhd.

anthpo: he's not making videos anymore, but all his stuff is up on youtube and he perfectly balances feel-good and funny.

cryptid keeper podcast: this podcast has major early-unsolved vibes and they somewhat have the skeptic/believer dynamic as well.
