So I hiked up to the peak of mount Eros today. The path was labeled as a "medium difficulty" path but honestly it was on the easy side. What was difficult was that it was a steep incline. I had to stop frequently because it was exhausting, but that was all there was that was tough about it. There wasn't anything dangerous, except maybe on the way down one could potentially trip and fall and get badly hurt on the rocks, but I've hiked paths labeled "easy" who had parts where a misstep was actual death. No risk of death here, except perhaps if you have a heart condition.

Was the view worth it? Sure, but I'd say the hike itself was its own reward. Definitely enjoyed sitting up there in complete silence by myself.

This freak i mean this distinguished mule was standing in the middle of the path on the way there and on the way back. And I wasn't interested in getting kicked or bitten so both times I had to find a way around. But it was very thin and I maybe old? But definitely much thinner than most mules on the island, definitely not working. Maybe it was retired, i hope it wasn't abandoned on the mountain like that. It was covered in flies.
