Drama Update
The truth is I have a million things to do. I feel like this semester is either going to end me or I will end it soon. But here I am actively looking for a new drama to binge rather than finding a proponent to fund my organization’s activities; here I am typing this thing rather than the speech I will be doing on Tuesday. It feels like I am deliberately sabotaging my future (Maybe I am.) But I was never good at making the right decisions. So, here we are today.
I’m currently watching 3 dramas. If you’ve scrolled down in my profile, you will find out that those 3 dramas are: Crash Course in Romance, Our Blooming Youth, and The Starry Love. The latter being my new obsession. It’s so funny, I swear. People should give it more hype. I don’t see much people posting about it on Tumblr. It’s not perfect by any means, but it’s been great at making me forget my academic responsibilities (lmao). Although my week is jampacked with dramas (The Starry Love airs two episodes every day except on Fridays and Saturdays. I’m literally watching an episode every single day.), it still feels like it’s not enough. I need to be overwhelmed by the dramas I’m watching. I’ve read some where that reading a book in one sitting was like drinking one whole bottle of wine by yourself. I actually agree and I want to feel like that when I binge-watch a tv show.
I have made attempts. I was in episode 2 of a Thai Drama called My Forever Sunshine when I decided that I actually want to watch a fantasy Cdrama along side The Starry Love. That it is why I stumbled into the rabbit hole of Cdrama edits in Youtube. I ended up watching The Blue Whisper, but like the previous drama I mentioned, I only ended up in episode 2. It’s not bad but I just wasn’t in the mood.
I was also thinking of finishing dramas, whose episodes I’d missed. Strangers Again ended last Thursday, but I still haven’t gotten around watching the last 8 episodes. I also haven’t finished The Interests of Love. Maybe I’ll get back to them soon or by the end of the year.
I’m also eyeing on watching The Heavenly Idol and Taxi Driver Season 2 but I’m seriously not in the mood to watch something that’s not yet completed as of the time of writing.
Right now I’m just craving for a cute romcom to turn my head off for a minute or for like 16 hours. I really really don’t want to face my responsibilities until tomorrow.
Anyways, this is my drama update for now. Until next time!

Didn’t you say you like the rain?
It’s a lie.
Why would you lie about that?
I wonder about that too.
Baek Dong Joo doesn’t like the rain. She always waits for it to stop or waits for someone to bring her an umbrella. Kim Tae Hee also doesn’t like the rain. He remembers bad memories every time it does. But even though this is the case, he still went out in the pouring rain to get her an umbrella. He still ran with her under the downpour to accompany her.
These aren’t grand gestures, but it made my heart flutter so much. The fact that he has made compromises just to make her feel better is already a big clue that he likes her (he just doesn’t realize it yet).
Really, it’s the little things that matter.

Miss Sang Eun, thanks to you I have people visiting in the hospital
The opposites attract trope isn’t necessarily my favorite, but Sang Eun and Ji Ho just makes it so cute. I do think every introvert deserves an extrovert that will take them to places. I’m glad Ji Ho found his.

Cutest scene yet!
There was a drunk man who bought alcohol while Do Hae Yi was working. She got scared. Park Jung Woo saw this and waited behind the glass to see if the man would do anything. He didn’t leave until he was sure that the drunkard went on his way.
It’s always the little things that matter.

Hey, homeroom rep. How do I study? Teach me.
I don’t really like love triangles, but I am actually intrigued as to how this is going to go.

Jung Ji Ho's awkward expressions will always be my favorite.
He was literally trying his best to convince everyone that he's fine so Choi Sang Eun wouldn't have to cook for him and make a mess in the kitchen.

About the captain...How about a guy like him?
What do you mean?
Do you find him attractive?
Come on. He’s a total fogey
Interestingly the book she’s holding is On Love or more famously known as Essays in Love by Alain de Botton which chronicles the life cycle of romantic relationships: from meeting to breaking up.
Is this a foreshadowing, perhaps?

Lighter and Princess (2022) | Ep18-19
I'm still here.
With the angst the upcoming episodes are about to give, I can't help but relive these moments. They were so cute.

Do you remember the first Monday you came to my house? That day, I wanted to cancel our contract. When I got home after signing the contract, I was worried I was being too hasty and unreasonable. I waited while having those thoughts. But you came and said you were really hungry. You wanted to have dinner together because you didn't eat anything. You asked what should we eat. You asked me so brightly and I was flabbergasted. The food we had together that day was scrumptious. I thought for sure it would be uncomfortable and awkward. But strangely I felt very comfortable. So, I couldn't take back our contract.

Drama Updates
This will most likely be my last drama update for the year.
2022 went by in a flash. I came across some good ones; there were also some that were utterly forgettable. I’ll probably make a separate post summarizing all the dramas I watched this year. I’m only about 6 dramas away from reaching my goal since I finished Lighter and Princess, and New Life Begins this month. I also just watched episode 16 of May I Help You. I’m currently watching Summer Strike which will finish airing before this year ends, so, I’ll probably add it to my list. I also haven’t finish yet the Cdrama, She and Her Perfect Husband. I stopped watching a week before my final exams. I’m about 10 eps away from the last episode. I’ll probably get back to it before this year comes to a close.
Other than those mentioned above, I’m also watching Alchemy of Souls Season 2: Light and Shadow. I’m actually enjoying the chemistry between the leads, Lee Jae Wook and Go Yoon Jung on-screen but they’re even on fire behind the screens. Have you seen their The Swoon videos with the rest of the cast? Absolute cuties. Kinda worried how this drama will end. Everything just screams heartbreak. Let me just say though, what a lousy villain Jin Mu is. I’m also showing interest for the recently premiered, The Interest of Love starring Yoo Yeon Seok and Moon Ga Young. I’m currently watching it as I’m typing this post. It gives me quite some serious vibes. There are some interesting themes going on like classism and toxic workplace culture which I think is timely and relevant. I’ll probably stick around to see how this goes now that my Wednesday-Thursday slot is open.
A few days ago, I started watching the Cdrama, The Day of Becoming You which has a body-switching thing going on. I have had this in my to-watch list for quite some time now so I’m finally trying to cross it off. I’m still in episode 3. Hopefully, I’ll get around it before 2022 ends. Other than that, I’m also trying to get back into the dramas that I started to watch this year, but I never got to finish. There’s probably a reason why I stopped showing interests for those dramas, I’m about to remember them.
Hopefully, my time management skills will be improved in 2023. I want to be able to watch more dramas. I’m an awful binge-watcher, so I want to watch as many on-going dramas as possible. I’m kind of sad how I faired this year considering there were a lot of actors and actresses who made a comeback which dramas they star in I would ordinarily watch if circumstances were different.
Anyways, this is it until my next drama update!

Drama Updates
Tbh, I wasn’t really heavily watching any dramas for the past 2 months, so this entry might not be the best. My life has been really hectic lately that I can’t even designate that many hours for my hobby. Anyways, my week-long break is finally here and so, I’m making most out of it by being active once again.
A few weeks ago, my friend convinced me to watch Love in Contract starring Park Min Young and Go Kyung Pyo. I really liked some aspects of it but then there are some parts of the drama that annoys me too. I also made time for the kdrama, Cheer Up. It’s okay. I was expecting it to be a coming-of-age story which is light. I got caught off guard when it’s actually mixed with the mystery. Sadly, I haven’t been able to catch up with the Kdrama, Law Cafe. I know it recently just finished airing. Hopefully, I’ll be able to watch the rest of the episodes before this year ends. I really want to reach my goal this year to be able to reach 300 dramas. I’m about 14 dramas away from reaching that goal. Yesterday I finished my 286th drama with the Jdrama, Animals. Because of it, I want to watch more Japanese dramas. Right now, I’m still searching for the drama I’ll watch next.
I really wanted to watch the Cdrama, She and Her Perfect Husband and was really willing to forgo my school works to make time for it. For some reason, it got cancelled. Now, I have no Cdrama to watch. I hope it gets to air soon because I have been waiting to watch it for a really long time now.
I think that’s it for my drama update. This is really short but I just haven’t been watching. I hope more and better dramas will air soon and I’ll have the time to finally watch them.
